Outdoor Group Yoga

with Rebecca Printen Yoga & Meditation for Teens (Age 14-18)

Starts Monday, June 8 | 5:00pm–5:45pm What you will need: A mat and a yoga strap. If you do not have a strap, bring a sash to a robe or an old tie. A light blanket is good too, and wear layers depending on the weather. Aside from the physical beneďŹ ts, yoga and meditation can help, decrease the feeling of social isolation from their friends while practicing social distancing. Provide a structure to help with the current uncertainty, provide relief from stress and anxiety, promote better sleep. Give a healthy alternative to schoolwork and screen time.

Yoga for Golfers

Starts Monday, June 8 | 6:15pm-7:00pm What you will need: We will be practicing outside, so bring a mat and a yoga strap. If you do not have a strap, bring a sash to a robe or an old tie. A light blanket is good too, and wear layers depending on the weather. Hit longer drives, stay focused on the course, and lower your score with Yoga designed for golfers. Benefits of this class; reduce lower back pain, improve core strength (results in less strain on the lower back), calm and focused mind to enter the peak performance zone, improve flexibility, strength, reduce the risk of injury and recovery time, improve balance and coordination to gain more effective club control.

Alignment Yoga

Tuesday |10:00am-10:45am What you will need: A mat, towel (or yoga strap), block or pillow. We all come to yoga for different reasons. This class offers all of this through progression of postures with healthy alignment, meditation, to calm the mind, and an exploration of the power of the authentic breath. Tuesday & Thursday | 8:15am-9:00am (Drop off your kids at Tiny Tots Tennis and come join the fun!) What you will need: mat, dumbbells, towel, and water There will be no time wasted in this mixed format class. This HIIT workout will have you performing a variety of exercises to achieve strength, endurance, and cardio conditioning, while targeting core muscles.

We know you are missing gym class, so we are bringing it outdoors. Cardiovascular exercise strengthens our hearts, but also helps to build and maintain muscle mass which is essential for healthy bodies of all ages. Yoga is a “moving meditation�, a chance to move, breath, and learn proper alignment to maintain healthy joint mobility while strengthening and stretching connective tissue. 22 Day Bodyweight Workout Challenge with Jeff Homberg

Everyday Monday-Friday through June |11:00am-11:45am Location: Outside the Five Farms Fitness Center What you will need: a mat, towel, and water These total body workouts use only body weight exercises to maximize calorie burn. You will use a combination of muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility to move your body throughout all planes of motion. A guaranteed maximum burn in the shortest amount of time. Monday | 10:00am What you will need: A Mat and a Stretching Strap (TheraBand, Towel, Scarf or Tie all work) Join us for a Total Body Stretch combined with traditional Mat Pilates Exercises to improve mobility, range of motion, and core strength. Great to alleviate neck, shoulder and hip tightness exasperated by working from home.

Vinyasa Yoga

Monday & Wednesday at 8:00am | Friday at 9:00am What you will need: A mat, towel (or yoga strap), block or pillow Vinyasa is a flowing style of yoga that links breathing with movement by emphasizing gentle stretching and strengthening of the body, relaxation of the mind, and improvement in coordination, balance, and alignment. Focus is placed on inhaling and exhaling while moving from one pose to the next.

Mat Pilates Circuit

Friday | 10:00am What you will need: A Mat and small hand weights (or canned goods) We are taking your Pilates Mat practice up a notch by adding lowimpact cardio based variations to your favorite exercises. Slightly faster paced than a traditional Mat class, this class will focus on strengthening the core as well as dynamically moving the body from lying, seated and standing positions
