Mila Kunis Born in the Ukraine, Milena Markovna Kunis showed talent from a young age and her parents could see that she would have a great career given the opportunities. Her mother and father were both successful in the Ukraine but when Mila was seven years old they made the choice to leave the USSR, as they saw no future for Mila and her brother. In 1991 they landed in Los Angeles with only $250 and within two days Mila was enrolled in school even though she didn’t speak a word of English. When thinking back to that time Mila has stated that she completely blocked out the first year because she cried every day; she didn’t understand the culture, she didn’t understand the language and she didn’t understand the people. Relating it to becoming blind and deaf suddenly at the age of seven, it took Mila a while to become accustomed to life in America.
At the age of nine, Mila’s father enrolled her in acting classes at the Beverly Hills Studio and it was here she met her manager Susan Curtis. She showed her acting prowess early on and at her first audition, she landed a role in a Barbie commercial. Following a few more commercial roles, she gained a part in the popular series Days of Our Lives and later that year she made two appearances in Baywatch. Other television roles ensued until she was cast in the movie Gia playing the younger version of Angelina Jolie’s title role. It was in 1998 that she was cast in the role that really made her career what it is today. Everyone auditioning for a role in That 70’s Show was required to be 18 but Mila, who was 14 at the time, told casting directors that she would be 18 soon but not exactly when. After casting her as Jackie Burkhart, they figured out that she was not as old as they thought but still felt she was the best actress for the role. The series ran for eight season and Kunis won awards for her role including Best Young Actress in a Comedy at the Young Star Awards. Around the same time Mila also won the role of Meg Griffin in the animated sitcom Family Guy after many auditions and also won Voice Acting awards for her performance as Meg. From her role in That 70’s Show, the industry began to sit up and take notice and soon the movie world beckoned. In 2001 she starred in Get Over It with Kirsten Dunst and Sisqo which was followed by American Psycho 2 with William Shatner, although, the film was panned by critics and Kulis later expressed embarrassment at making the film.
Three more poorly received films followed and it seemed that Mila’s career might have finished before it really got going, until producer Judd Apatow cast her in his 2008 comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall alongside Jason Segel, Kristen Bell and Russell Brand. The film was a commercial success and Kulis’s performance was well-received; she was described as a fresh beauty and focused energy as well as being ‘adept with her performance and understanding the concept of comic timing’. Mila has since credited Apatow with helping her take her career from television to movies and expanding her repertoire.

Max Payne
In 2008 she was cast as Mona Sax, an assassin, in Max Payne alongside Mark Wahlberg and to prepare for the role she underwent training with guns, in martial arts and in boxing. Despite the film being successful at the box office, critics panned the film and in particular believed the role of Mona was miscast. However director John Moore defended his choice of using Kunis and said that she bowled them over and Mila was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for her role. Following the Max Payne film, Mila starred with some movie industry heavyweights including Ben Affleck and Jason Bateman in Extract and Denzel Washington in the well-

received The Book of Eli, in which she was described as being ‘ideally cast in the female role and that she generated a spark in the film’. In 2010 came the role that was to garner her many nominations for multiple awards and completely cement her status as a serious actress. Mila starred opposite Natalie Portman in Black Swan and to play the role she had to completely change her life for the duration of filming. Undergoing training daily that included cardiovascular exercise and ballet classes for four hours, combined with a 1,200 calorie a day diet ensured she lost the 20 pounds needed to play a ballerina. Training and filming took its toll on Mila’s body, as she suffered many injuries including a torn ligament and a dislocated shoulder. The film and indeed Mila’s performance received high praise from critics and from her peers who stated that she was the ‘perfect alternate to Portman’.
Friends with Benefits
Ted
After a string of serious films, it seemed the comedy side of Mila’s acting was calling and she starred alongside Justin Timberlake in the hilarious romantic comedy Friends with Benefits. Director Will Gluck has said that he did write the story with the two stars in mind and the film was praised for the chemistry between Kunis and Timberlake. Comedy is obviously in Mila’s blood as she continued to make popular comedic films, with her most commercially successful film to date, Ted, with Mark Wahlberg taking $549 million worldwide. This year Mila has many projects including Oz the Great and Powerful which was released in March as well as Blood Ties with Clive Owen, The Angriest Man In Brooklyn with Robin Williams, and the Paul Haggis-directed drama Third Person with Liam Neeson and James Franco. Kunis has also signed up to star with Channing Tatum next year in her first sci-fi film, Jupiter Ascending. 13

Aside from acting, Mila is also set to be an executive producer on a tv series for The CW network and has been featured in Esquire magazine in a segment with many other female stars that were photographed by singer Bryan Adams, in conjunction with Calvin Klein Collections, with proceeds donated to NYC AIDS foundation. Esquire is not the only magazine to feature Mila , she was also named GQ’s Knockout of the Year for 2011 and she has constantly been named in both Maxim, FHM and AskMen’s list of the Top 100 women in the world.
the world. Kulis dated child actor Macaulay Culkin from 2002 to 2011 but tried to keep their relationship out of the press as much as possible, refusing to talk about it in interviews. In July of 2011 a Sgt. Scott Moore of the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, serving in Afghanistan posted a YouTube video asking Mila to be his date to the Marine Corps Ball in North Carolina – surprisingly Mila accepted and she was escorted by Sgt. Moore to the ball in November of that year.
She has also been the face of Christian Dior’s Spring 2012 campaign and Gemfields global ambassador.
It was in 2012 that rumours started surfacing that Mila was dating her That 70’s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher following the breakdown of his marriage to Demi Moore and Kutcher then confirmed the relationship in March 2013.
Mila’s acting and other work has not been the only thing to make her into a household name, her love life has seen her feature in many gossip columns around
It’s clear that Mila is an accomplished actor and has many starring roles already under her belt and with many more in production, she is sure to be around for a while.

41% Mobile phone
A massive 41% of those polled said a mobile phone exposed the infidelity in their relationship. This is not surprising. If your partner is unfaithful, there’s almost undoubtedly going to be evidence on their phone. This could be in the form of texts, call histories – or if you’re really unlucky – photos. Mobile phones are also easy for the suspicious-minded to get hold of.
23% Social media
It’s handy that Twitter and Facebook can remember your password – saving you typing it in. But such convenience also means these accounts can be easily accessed by others, including your partner. The poll revealed 23% of love-rats were exposed when flirty and sexual messages sent via social media were discovered. Facebook’s tagging feature also provides killer photographic evidence that someone’s been where they shouldn’t have.
through files on 13% Went PC/laptop/tablet
Finding files on a computer which proves you’re being cheated on is always going to be unpleasant. It’s possible that those files are archived messages, but files stashed away for safe-keeping are more likely to be saved emails, photos, or even videos. Some 13% of those polled said this was how cheaters were caught out. Don’t be fooled by folders with harmless seeming names – this is where you’ll find the dirt.
16
11% Caught in the act
This is the by far the most dramatic way an unfaithful partner is exposed. For the one cheated on it’s like being punched in the stomach by a big fist called betrayal. For the cheater, it’s the one situation you never wanted to happen – both your lovers in the same room at the same time. According to the survey, 11% of infidelity is revealed in this devastating fashion.
5%
Told by friend
3%
Told by family member
It can be a real dilemma: you know, or suspect, that your friend’s partner is doing the dirty behind their back. Do you tell them? Or do you spare their feelings by not getting involved? Real friends would let the wronged party know that their boyfriend or girlfriend is a wrongun. This is how 5% of cheaters were named and shamed, according to the survey.
You would expect more loyalty to the person being cheated from a family member than from a friend. However, the poll said only 3% of relationship infidelities were out-ed by a relative. This discrepancy is probably because your family are less likely to find out – as they’re outside your social group – rather than a reluctance to dish the dirt.
2%
Confession
2%
Other
It’s telling, and perhaps a bit depressing, that only 2% of cheating partners revealed their unfaithfulness themselves. Some do opt to spill the beans – either through guilt or because they’re challenged – but not many. It seems that once we start down the road of lies and deceit, it’s in for a penny in for a pound.
The poll said that the remaining 2% of infidelities were revealed by means known only as ‘other’. Inconsistency in lies, overhearing something in the background during a phone call, anonymous tip-offs in the form of letters or emails, hidden cameras, private detectives and good old-fashioned lipstick on the collar all fall into this category.

Man orders TV from Amazon.com and receives an Assault Rifle Receiving a large package in the post is usually pretty exciting, especially if you expect it to hold that new flat-screen TV you ordered online.
20
That’s what Seth Horvitz from Washington was expected when he found a box waiting for him outside his apartment. But the long, narrow package couldn’t possibly contain the 39-inch television he’d ordered from an independent seller on Amazon. Maybe it was a TV stand or some other accessory, he thought. So he opened the box, only to find an Army-style assault rifle.
After briefly contemplating himself holding the Sig Sauer SIG716 semiautomatic assault rifle now in his possession, Horvitz contacted the police. Authorities deemed the weapon an illegally-shipped firearm and quickly confiscated it. Apparently the error seemed to have resulted from a labelling mix-up within the UPS system. The box was addressed to Horvitz, but the invoice he found inside indicated that the rifle was meant to go to a gun shop in Pennsylvania. The thirdparty Amazon seller refunded his money and has also filed a claim with UPS.
The Price of a Baby
Thinking of having children? Does the picture of a little one conjure up thoughts of smiles, laughter and general happiness? Think again. Children are becoming unaffordable luxuries to the majority of the working class, so findings have shown. Babies are pricey little things. In fact, raising one to adulthood will set you back a whopping £218,000 according to a 2012 survey. That’s a massive £10,400 a year – which means you’re essentially renting a tiny human for £28.44 a day. With the average wage being just over £26,000 a year, and house prices, food costs, etc becoming more and more expensive, children are becoming a luxury that most can’t afford. Not only are babies expensive – they’re set to get even more so. With the change in the structure of university fees and benefits in the UK, that little bundle of joy who seemed like such a good idea after a few glasses of wine could cost you another £50k+ on top of that. Raising children is arguably one of the most important things we can do as a society (if we didn’t, the world would surely be taken over by ants), but how much are we willing to give up to do so. Think of ending those trips out shopping, eating and drinking out and simply spending carelessly from our wage packages. Could you bare the expense?

Passenger jet nearly strikes UFO over Scotland Last month in Glasgow, Scotland, British aviation authorities confirmed a jet carrying about 200 passengers nearly collided with a UFO above Scotland in December of last year. The British Airprox Board, which is run by the Civil Aviation Authority and the Ministry of Defense to investigate such close calls in the sky, said the Airbus A320 was about 11 miles east of Glasgow Airport when the pilot told air traffic control the plane “just had something pass underneath us quite close,”. The board said the object spotted by the pilot and co-pilot did not set off the traffic collision avoidance systems and was not picked up by radar at Glasgow Airport, but it was spotted 28 seconds before the December incident by radar at nearly Glasgow Prestwick Airport. The Airprox board said the object could not have been another plane, a balloon or a helicopter. It said the object was also unlikely to be a glider, hang glider or para-motor. An investigation is still on going.
Suitcase in charity shop found to contain £32,000 A customer who was about to buy a suitcase in a charity shop in Australia, discovered £32,000 stuffed in a compartment. Police then investigated the origins of the suitcase back to its elderly owner. Apparently the suitcase was sent to the charity shop by accident when she moved house. Police said she might have to wait 2 months to receive the suitcase and the money.

KFC Smuggled into Gaza Fast food chain KFC is not present in the Gaza Strip, so demand for it is high. So high in fact that it is now being smuggled through underground tunnels from Egypt. The only difference is that it costs £18 for a £7.50 meal and the food is far from fast and can take up to 4 hours. Student Abou Fares from the Gaza strip said: “It’s delicious, even if it’s cold.”

Here are just some pieces of current trends for this summer... Denim shorts are the perfect piece to accompany any style of top. Nothing says summer quite like a pair of jean shorts. Ever since Daisy Duke debuted her now eponymous form-fitting cut-offs, denim shorts have been an indispensable staple; it’s no wonder these blue jean denim shorts keep popping up. For a casually dressed-down, yet still incredibly sexy look, denim shorts and loose blouse or shirt couldn’t be more on trend. For a night out, choose the classic black and white trend that can be spotted on the catwalks and in stores at the moment and you can’t go wrong. The very feminine pastel or pale colour dresses are also a head turner for those who like the more girly yet soft summery look. Paired with a great pair of heels for a dressy look or flats for daywear this item is a must for every girls wardrobe this summer.
Treat Your Hair With the effects of colour treatments, styling, heat, sun, and more, shampoo is often not enough for the best hair care: a deep conditioning treatment is needed to properly treat hair and keep it healthy and beautiful.
All hair needs conditioning, however, it is difficult to determine which conditioning treatment is right for your specific hair type, and using a product you don’t need will result in heavy, lifeless hair as the extra chemicals accumulate. That’s why it’s always best to get to a salon and leave it to the professionals.
These are certain hair types that need regular conditioning: • Coloured hair, including highlighted or dyed hair.
• Straightened hair, particularly if chemicals or heat irons are used. • Heavily styled hair that frequently uses gels, sprays, or other chemical products. • Hair that uses accessories such as clips, ponytail holders, or other items that may break strands. • Hair that is excessively dry due to the use of chemicals or exposure to the sun. • Naturally unmanageable hair such as curly locks or brittle hair with multiple split ends or other damage.

With proper use, you can achieve gorgeous locks no matter what contortions your hair must go through to find the perfect style.

LÍNEA DIRECTA REACHES 2 MILLION CUSTOMERS AND BEATS ITS PROFITS RECORD In clearly difficult economic times, with the insurance sector decreasing for the fourth consecutive year, Línea Directa Aseguradora has closed 2012 with the highest profit levels in its history: 121.5 million euros before tax, representing an increase of 13% on the previous year. There have been three main reasons for this: the sharp rise in the number of customers, effective underwriting risk management and the improvement of all the company’s processes and services, which have enabled it to reduce expenses without diminishing the scope of the cover offered. As a result, the total number of policies, which since last February has exceeded two million, rose by over 105,000 last year, mainly thanks to the Home Insurance Area, which in the 5 years since it was launched, now has over 230,000 policies without having resorted to mergers or acquisitions.
The International Area, a strategic business Línea Directa offers its foreign policyholders living in Spain all its services in English and German. As a result, purchasing the policy, making enquiries, dealing with accidents, sending documentation and 24-hour road assistance can all be carried out both in English and German, at a time which suits the policyholder and with only one phone call. In addition, Línea Directa’s International Area offers its policyholders a translation service which they can use for dealing with repairers. The International Area is a key strategic factor for Línea Directa, through which the company offers its foreign customers totally exclusive services, discounts and offers.

Mila Kunis Sexiest Woman in the World
Helen Flanagan Voted Sexiest Woman in the UK
Mila Kunis has beaten Michelle Keegan, Kelly Brook and Cheryl Cole to be named FHM’s sexiest woman in the world.
Anyone who watched Helen Flanagan flounce around the jungle in that grossly undersized white bikini will be completely unsurprised to hear that she’s been voted the UK’s most sexiest woman in FHM’s annual “The 100 sexiest women in the world” list.
With last year’s winner Tulisa Contostavlos falling down to 11th position, Mila also rubs shoulders with Rihanna and Kate Upton in this year’s top 10. The Friends With Benefits actress’ position has vastly improved since last year, in which she finished at number 9. No doubt thanks to her new romance with Hollywood hunk Ashton Kutcher, as well as a string of films she’s starred in.
Miley Cyrus is Voted Maxim’s Hottest Woman
FHM readers however favoured the looks of Mila Kunis and Rihanna who both first and second respectively in the poll just ahead of Helen. Mind you, the Corrie star’s placement in the list shouldn’t be sneered at easily; she beat Cheryl Cole and Kelly Brook to get there as well as former number one Tulisa.
While Mila Kunis recently topped FHM’s hottest woman in the world poll, over at Maxim magazine, Miley Cyrus has been named as their sexiest female celeb in the annual “Hot 100” list. The grungy looking 21-year-old beat the likes of Selena Gomez and Rihanna to win the hearts of their readers and in a statement she said she couldn’t be happier about it: “If feels amazing to be the No. 1. It’s every woman’s fantasy to be told she’s No. 1 on Maxim’s Hot 100! So crazy!”
Sexiest Female from British Soap Awards Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan was crowned the Sexiest Female for the fifth time in a row at last month’s British Soap Awards. The 25-year-old, who plays Tina McIntyre on the soap, was joined at the event by her boyfriend Mark Wright who was no doubt delighted his girlfriend received the accolade. And despite winning the award four times before, Michelle, who certainly looked very sexy on the night, insisted that she was in shock. 30
Kerry Katona advert banned from TV A payday loan advert fronted by Kerry Katona has been banned from TV screens. 29 complaints were lodged with the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) about the promo for Cash Lady, which has been deemed as “irresponsible.” In the ad Kerry plays up to her own real-life notorious money woes, saying: “We’ve all had money troubles. I know I have.” “You could see your bank and fill in loads of forms, but there is an easier way to get a loan…” at which point the company’s website is shown. The company behind Cash Lady have denied that their advert encourages people to get into similar financial difficulties as Kerry and have disputed claims that the ad makes reference to her bankruptcy. Justin Beiber attacked by crazed fan in Dubai Pint sized singer Justin Bieber got a terrifying shock last night when a crazed fan made a bid to grab him as he was performing in Dubai. The crowd-goer climbed on to the stage and ran toward Justin while he was playing the piano and singing.
And another report claims the singer’s much derided Met Gala look was designed to conceal her growing pregnancy figure.
Luckily a fast-moving member of the star’s security team grabbed the fan before he’d reached Justin but in the process of the manic pursuit, the singer’s piano was sent tumbling over.
The ‘Grown Woman’ singer - who welcomed her first child, daughter Blue Ivy Carter, into the world in January 2012 - is said to be expecting again with her rapper husband Jay-Z.
The ‘Poor’ Kardashians The Kardashian siblings have just lost a legal battle where they were fighting to save the name of their beauty line Khroma.
Bieber’s guitarist confirmed that the incident had not been a stunt, saying: “It wasn’t a prank. Someone ran on stage during Believe and the piano got knocked off its platform. Everyone is fine. No need to worry!”
Now the poor (and with them being gazillionaires we use the term loosely) girls will have to refer to their products as Kardashian Beauty. If not the reality stars would have had to cough up $10 million for stealing the name of another brand called Kroma Makeup which is actually spelt differently, but oh well. Due to be unleashed on 5,000 retailers across the US, the ladies (well their skivvies) will have to repackage everything. 31
