Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, born 5 February 1985 and better known as Cristiano Ronaldo, is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a forward for Spanish club Real Madrid and captains the Portugal national team. Ronaldo was born in Santo António, a neighbourhood of Funchal, Madeira, the youngest child of Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro, a cook, and José Dinis Aveiro, a municipal gardener. The family was staunchly Catholic and Ronaldo later claimed that he lived in poverty, sharing a room with his brother and sisters. He was popular with other students at school, but he was expelled after he threw a chair at his teacher - Ronaldo later said of the incident: “He disrespected me.” At the age of 14, Ronaldo agreed with his mother to then focus entirely on football.
In November 2002, Ronaldo was invited to Arsenal’s training ground, to meet manager Arsène Wenger and his coaching staff. However he came to the attention of Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson in the summer of 2003, when Sporting defeated United 3–1 in the inauguration of the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon. Ronaldo’s performance impressed the Manchester United players, who urged Ferguson to sign him.
When he was just eight, Ronaldo played for amateur team Andorinha, where his father was the kit man but in 1995, Ronaldo signed with local club Nacional, and, after a title-winning campaign, he went on a three-day trial with Sporting CP, who subsequently signed him for an undisclosed sum. At the age of 15 Ronaldo was diagnosed with a racing heart, a condition that might have forced him to give up playing football. The Sporting staff were made aware of the condition and Ronaldo’s mother gave her authorisation for him to go into hospital. While there, he had an operation in which a laser was used to cauterise the area of his heart that was causing the problem. The surgery took place in the morning and Ronaldo was discharged from hospital by the end of the afternoon; he resumed training only a few days later.
Ronaldo became Manchester United’s first-ever Portuguese player when he signed for €15 million (£12.24 million) after the 2002–03 season. The footballer requested the number 28 (his number at Sporting), as he did not want the pressure of living up to the expectation linked to the number 7 shirt, which had previously been worn by players such as Johnny Berry, George Best, Steve Coppell, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona and David Beckham. However, Ferguson told him that he had to have the number 7 and Ronaldo used it as a source of motivation to live up to such an honour. Ronaldo had a very successful career with Manchester United - in 2007, he was the first player in England to win all 4 main PFA and FWA awards. In 2008, he won 3 of the 4 main PFA and FWA trophies and was named 9
10
the FIFA World Player of the Year, FIFPro Player of the Year, World Soccer Player of the Year, and the Onze d’Or. In 2007 and 2008, Ronaldo was named FWA Footballer of the Year and was the inaugural winner of the FIFA Puskás Award for Goal of the Year in 2009.
After many years at the club, in 2009 Ronaldo became the most expensive footballer in history when he moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid in a transfer worth £80 million (€94 million/$132 million). Ronaldo’s contract with Real Madrid, under the terms of which he is paid €21 million per year (after taxes), makes him the highest-paid footballer in the world, and his buyout clause is valued at €1 billion as per his contract. He is regarded by some in the sport to be currently the best player in the world. His career with Real Madrid has been just as successful and in 2013, he won the FIFA/Ballon d’Or award for the best footballer in the world, the first Portuguese player to win the award twice (he also won in 2008). He was awarded the European Golden Shoe in 2008, 2011 and 2014. In a 2014 UEFA poll, Ronaldo was named the greatest goalscorer to play in the UEFA Champions League. He
is the competition’s second top goalscorer of all time with 68 goals, only trailing Raúl with three more. Ronaldo is the first top European league player to reach 40 goals in a single season in two consecutive years; the fastest Real Madrid player to reach 100 league goals; and the first player to score against every team in a single season in La Liga. He holds the record for most goals scored in a season for Real Madrid. In January 2014, Ronaldo scored his 400th career goal. Aside from playing for two of Europe’s best teams, Ronaldo is a Portuguese international and made his debut in August 2003. He has been capped over 100 times and is Portugal’s top goalscorer of all time. With Portugal he has participated in 5 major tournaments; UEFA Euro 2004, the 2006 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro 2008, the 2010 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2012. He scored his first international goal in the opening game of Euro
2004 against Greece, in addition to helping Portugal reach the final. He took over captaincy in July 2008 and captained them to the Euro 2012 semi-finals finishing the competition as joint-top scorer. In March 2010, France Football ranked Ronaldo third in its list of the world’s highest paid footballers, behind David Beckham and Lionel Messi but in May 2014, Forbes ranked Ronaldo first in their list of the world’s highest paid players, with earnings of $73 million in combined income from salaries, bonuses and off-field earnings for the previous 12 months. 11
12
Aside from playing football Ronaldo has done sponsorships with Emporio Armani, Nike, Coca-Cola, Banco Espirito Santo, Motorola, Jacob & Co., Herbalife, KFC, Tag Heuer and Fly Emirates. He has been immensely popular with fans in his career and in August 2010, Ronaldo became the first non-American to reach 10 million followers on Facebook; then, in October 2012, he became the first sportsperson to reach 50 million. According to Forbes, Ronaldo had the 5th highest social rank in the world in 2012, bettered only by Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Katy Perry and in 2014, Time Magazine named Ronaldo one of The World’s 100 Most Influential People. Earlier this year, at a ceremony held at the Belém Palace, President of Portugal Aníbal Cavaco Silva raised Ronaldo to the rank of Grand Officer of the Order of Prince Henry, “to distinguish an athlete of world renown who has been a symbol of Portugal globally,
contributing to the international projection of the country and setting an example of tenacity for future generations.” Real Madrid won the Copa del Rey this year, although Ronaldo didn’t play in the final due to a hamstring injury. But he was fit again to take part in the Champions League final and Ronaldo’s penalty at the end of extra time sealed a 4-1 win for Real Madrid over Atletico Madrid, which had led deep into stoppage time after 90 minutes. Ronaldo was named the European Player of the Year 2014, and he will be striving to be one of the stand-out players during the World Cup.... we will see!

La Galería Shooting Range Go for a great day out – or why not become a member?
La Galeria Shooting Range hosting a 25 metre range, is situated in the Malaga industrial zone and is located just a few minutes drive from Malaga airport. For a past time with a difference the experience of shooting an array of guns makes this an unforgettable experience. At La Galeria, they teach both armed and unarmed self-defence methods, and courses can be modified to the client personal requirements. They also teach Olympic style competition shooting, as well as tactical style shooting. These start from the most basic, through to sport professional/tactical operative. The Instructor down at La Galeria is highly qualified and experienced.
What to Expect On entering La Galeria Shooting Range, you are greeted by their instructor, a very polite and extremely welcoming man. Your first port of call is straight to the office, (as all first timers must do) where you are given a form to be filled out and briefed on the laws and conditions of the range. At this time you are also being assessed to make sure you are competent, sane and most of all not under the influence of any alcohol (not even a pint), so enjoy a beer afterwards. By the way it’s extremely cheap there at only 1 euro a beer in the clubhouse! Taking you through to the range you will notice that safety is made a priority, taking you through everything step by step so that you feel not only confident but also comfortable in the surroundings. 22
The induction consists of the instructor explaining the range and how to conduct yourself whilst in the range. He will then ask you to stand and hold the gun, most people seem to think they should hold it either like a gangster or Bruce Willis from the Die Hard films. This is not the case! You are then shown the correct way to stand and the correct way to hold the gun. Once in the correct position, you are given a loaded .22 pistol, (this is the gun you begin with) while under complete supervision you are then told to shoot at the target. The next stage is evaluating where your shot finishes on the target. The instructor will then adjust your stance and grip and ask you to shoot again. Amazingly enough with a few small changes you will really be able to see that his instruction does drastically improve your shot. As the induction proceeds you will shoot .9, .38, and .45 millimetre guns. You will then be taken through everything safely and competently and at the end of it you will surely be able to see a tremendous difference from the first few shots.
All in all it is definitely a superb day out and is fully recommended to anyone wanting a day out with a difference and an unforgettable experience.
La Galeria also have a very friendly club atmosphere often having themed club nights, and family gettogethers. They can organize all paperwork regarding the firing, owning of, and buying and selling of legal firearms. Prices start from 110€ per person for the original introduction that is compulsory. Groups of 4 or 5 are preferred, but they can accommodate groups up to 10 at one time. The introduction is about 1 hour long. Once completed tuition is from around 40 euros per hour for non members + munitions. For members, it’s only 20 euros + munitions.

Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman together?
They first worked together in Pulp Fiction and now, after 20 years, Uma Thurman and Quentin Tarantino have reportedly taken their friendship on a romantic journey. The long-time friends have embarked on a romance after the actress - whom the director has often referred to as his ‘muse’ - split with fiancé Arpad ‘Arki’ Busson last month. The couple were particularly cozy as they hit the red carpet together on several occasions last week during the Cannes International Film Festival, with reports suggesting they even shared a villa together in the South Of France. “They had a thing and got together again recently. He’s loved her for years,” an insider was quoted as saying.

Terrifying Raid on home of Footballer Ian Wright Last month Ian Wright flew home unexpectedly from the World Cup in Brazil following a terrifying raid on the football star’s London home. Detectives revealed four armed men knocked on the TV star’s front door, before forcing their way inside the house in Kensal Rise where they held his shaken family at knifepoint. They then made off with a number of items including personal property and jewellery. A police spokesman told sources in a statement: “Detectives from Brent are appealing for the public’s help in tracing four men who committed an aggravated burglary in north west London on the 19th of June.
HARRISON FORD BREAKS LEG WHILE FILMING Harrison Ford has had “successful” surgery after he broke his leg while filming the new Star Wars movie at Pinewood Studios. The Hollywood actor will begin rehabilitation soon, according to his publicist Ina Treciokas. Ford was said to have broken his ankle and had to be airlifted to hospital in Oxford following the accident last late last month. The 71-year-old star was reported to have been hurt when the door of the Millennium Falcon fell on him. A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said the actor had been injured by a “garage door” and added: “The Health and Safety Executive have been informed and will look into it.” The US actor is reprising his role as Han Solo in the latest episode in the Star Wars franchise, Episode VII. It is being directed by JJ Abrams and is scheduled for release in December 2015. Disney spokesman Paul Roeder said filming would continue on schedule while Ford recovers. 26
Keeping Up with the Kardashians show ratings plummet! The second half of Keeping Up the Kardashians season 9 which premiered on E! just earlier this month with network execs expecting record ratings failed to deliver. After all, news of the Kimye wedding was everywhere in the weeks leading up to the premiere and it seemed almost certain that the incredible amount of free publicity would result in KUWTK’s largest audience ever. Instead, it seems that Kim and kompany are suffering from a klassic kase of overexposure. The long-running series’ June 8 episode pulled in a scant 1.1 million viewers. To put things in perspective, that same night Game of Thrones received 18.4 million viewers. Granted, it’s not fair to expect KUWTK to compete with Game of thrones but these days the Kardashians aren’t even keeping up with themselves, as ratings for the last two episodes represent the show’s all time low.

One Direction’s Louis raising money for his new football club One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson is using crowdfunding in an attempt to raise £2m for his new football club, Doncaster Rovers.
The singer has launched a campaign with former chairman John Ryan to secure the future of the League One team after their deal to take over the side was completed. The pair have put a six-figure sum into the Tomlinson Ryan Trust and are asking football and One Direction fans to make their own donations in return for rewards. It is thought to be one of the biggest crowdfunding initiatives launched in the UK. Twenty-two-year-old Tomlinson is a global star as one member of One Direction and is a lifelong fan of his hometown club even playing for their reserve side against Barnsley earlier this year.

Jay Z and Beyoncé heading for divorce? Jay Z is caught up in yet another cheating scandal, with a new report claiming he’s been carrying on a long-term affair with singer Mya. The report follows up on a string of rumours that Jay Z has been cheating on Beyonce, and that the couple are on the verge of divorce. Sources claim that Jay Z has been secretly seeing a mistress for years, a person who has now been identified as Singer Mya. It’s unclear when the affair could have started, but Jay Z and Mya collaborated on a 2000 song, “The Best of Me.” The Jay Z cheating rumour comes just days after other sources indicated that the rapper was having an affair with Casey Cohen, star of the Bravo show Princesses: Long Island. The source claimed that Cohen met with Jay Z on several occasions. “Jay probably sees her twice a month. He visits her while she’s working and then they slip away for an after party. She’ll hang out with him all night, flirting with him and touching him.” Cohen vehemently denied that she was having an affair with Jay Z, but the rumours were still a black eye for Jay Z. In recent weeks there have been other reports of infidelity with singers Rita Ora and Rihanna, and the infamous elevator fight with Beyonce’s sister Solange was reportedly sparked when Jay Z was getting a little too close to his friend Rachel Roy.

Spanish Mortgages – Should I or Shouldn’t I? Key points that you need to consider are the following; • Lack of consumer protection
In our experience, Spanish banks can, and will, say pretty much anything in order to try and get some business through the door. They will say YES to appease you and entice you in. Once you are in it can be a very different scenario.
“Help, I need a Spanish mortgage for my Spanish property purchase.” It seems to be the million dollar, or should I say million Euro question these days, and there appears to be a great deal of confusion as to whether or not Spanish banks are actually lending to foreign borrowers. The first thing to point out is that YES, Spanish banks are indeed lending to foreign borrowers and it is much easier than you might think. Two or three years ago it was extremely difficult to find a Spanish bank willing to open it’s coffers, not just to non-Spanish clients but to Spanish nationals also. In saying that, there are only a few banks worth talking to when it comes to borrowing money. Therefore anyone thinking of going to a Spanish lender should take great care when dealing with the various banks that openly declare “they are open for business”. 32
• Order to approve the mortgage
This is a very old trick that Spanish banks pull. Having originally agreed to the amount that you need, on the day of completion they will duly inform you that in order to secure the finance, you have to first sign up to a range of other products supplied by the bank such as life insurance, credit cards, home and contents cover and even a pension plan. Some of these products are in-offensive such as home and contents insurance, which to be fair is a necessity, but things like pensions and credit cards are just abusive in relation to a mortgage application. Special attention should be taken when they insist upon life insurance. Some lenders will dictate that you pay for the life cover up front before exclaiming that it would be ‘unfair’ of them to expect you to pay for it out of your own pocket, so those lovely, considerate people at the bank will go out of their way to give you a loan to pay for the life insurance. HOW NICE of them!
• Make sure you are aware of the costs of setting up a Spanish mortgage Please be aware that if you are considering using a Spanish
mortgage to help you buy a home here in Spain, then you will have to factor in extra funds to pay for setting up the mortgage deed. Typical costs are; 1-1.5% to the bank who are arranging the finance for you; 1.8-2% stamp duty (ADJ) which is paid to the government; notary, admin and legal fees for registering the mortgage deed. All of the above percentages are always based on the size of mortgage you require. Typically you could be looking at over and above cost of approx. 13-14%
Finally, there is really very little consumer protection in Spain for borrowers -
If you are considering taking out a Spanish mortgage, make certain that you ask the right questions at the outset, if you know what they are. If you do not know what they are then find a specialist who does and can keep you on the right path. Once you have signed the contract you will find it very difficult to get out of it at a later date. You will probably have to employ a Spanish lawyer, which would be very costly and also time consuming. The best thing to do is get an expert to assist you.
So should I or shouldn’t I get a Spanish mortgage?
There is no definitive answer here, but you should most definitely consider one. For many buyers, it can be the difference to being able to afford your perfect property which with other financing options, might otherwise have been out of reach!! The main bit of advice; be very careful of how you go about obtaining mortgage finance for a Spanish property purchase. Article by GWM / FFA

Health & Fitness
Weight Training
Fads and Fashions
Any physical activity is better than no physical activity, so the exercise programmes and equipment referred to below, resistance or otherwise, are not useless for building fitness, strength, muscle or endurance.
42
A question is better framed in relation to whether the programmes and the claims made by their promoters offer anything new or provide a particular advantage for the outcomes targeted.
On the other hand, new training methods for competitive fitness advantage are an evolving science and have been proposed for as long as men and women have been in the physical fitness ‘business’. New ideas are not necessarily bad ideas. Here are some of the weight training and associated fads and fashions of the last 30 years or so. Some have been entrenched in fitness circles, some are under ongoing evaluation, and some will most likely fade away.
Abs Trainers There are so many of these that it’s difficult to single out any single one for comment. However, as a group – rockers, hangers, sliders etc – their aim is generally the same: to build strength and shape in the rectus abdominis (sixpack), transversus abdominis, and obliques muscles of the abdomen area. You don’t need equipment to do this because various form of body crunches are sufficient, or a medicine ball to provide variety.
CrossFit CrossFit is about 15 years old and is based, for the most part, around high-intensity, high-volume weight training often combined with strong elements of body movement, calisthenics and full-body exercises. As it stands, CrossFit programmes will provide you with an excellent workout that will provide strength, muscle, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning -- without necessarily optimising any of those fitness elements.
It’s not surprising that CrossFit is criticised for pre-disposing trainers, especially novices, to injury. High-intensity, high-volume anything will do that, although not all ‘workouts of the day’ (WOD) are high repetition. In fact, such training seems to be as flexible as you want it to be, but then you can achieve that flexibility without calling it CrossFit. Machines of the lever and pulley type are frowned upon. The following two statements from the CrossFit site give great cause to doubt the CrossFit training philosophy and sports science. “Sprinters can match the cardiovascular performance of endurance athletes - even at extended efforts.” As a general principle, this is incorrect and obviously so to the point of absurdity. It may be possible for a CrossFit “sprinter” to run a marathon in some form, but the training demands are very different and without appropriate aerobic running, such a person would not be competitive. Fibre
type enhancement for a start would need addressing. Measuring VO2 will not tell the complete story. Elite endurance runners gain advantage because they can perform at a higher percentage of VO2. “With high carb diets you either get fat or weak.” This is another quite erroneous statement, but obviously designed for reaction. CrossFit supports Paleo diets. Quite the opposite: it is likely that a low-carb diet will slow you down. CrossFit is useful for general fitness, no doubt, but it does not offer any inherently special advantages for weight training, and, as with any form of resistance training, start modestly, progress slowly, and ignore the hype.
PX90 PX90 or Power 90 Extreme is a high-intensity, high-volume circuit-like programme sold on a DVD package including 12 DVDs, instruction booklet and nutrition guide. Ideally you need dumbbells, resistance bands, a pull-up bar and an exercise mat. Workouts are in the range 60-90 minutes. PX90 uses a six-day workout programme cycling various targeted body regions and fitness procedures - back, legs, core, yoga, plyometrics etc. Only for the very dedicated. 43
300 Apparently based around the actor training programme for the film 300 about the 300 Spartans, the original 300 workout is another high-rep, high-volume workout programme, the 300 being the total number of reps in the session. Various other 300 workouts from intermediate to beginner have evolved. Another combination of general fitness and muscle endurance that should build muscle along the way with sufficient loads.
Bootcamp
Pump (Les Mills)
4 Minutes
Bootcamp, initially based around military training, can refer to any number of workout ideas, but it usually involves a ‘Commando’ type trainer instructing in a mix of calisthenics, bodyweight exercises and high-intensity interval running. Bootcamp has been around for decades and is still a useful way to train for general fitness, although it specifically does not target strength and muscle.
Les Mills Pump workouts have been around for decades and millions of trainers have used this popular programme in gyms and fitness centres under licensed instructors. In a Pump class, trainers use barbells and other weights to music using light weights and high reps. Not much for strength and muscle trainers here although muscle endurance and cardiovascular fitness will get a boost. A DVD series is also available.
4 Minutes as a training paradigm has mixed origins and practice, perhaps originally derived from Tabata training, which involves high-intensity work for 20 seconds followed by 10 seconds or rest for 4 minutes. More recent ‘4 minute’ workouts have entered the muscle endurance arena with repetitions of standard exercises like deadlifts and squats for 4 minutes total duration. Nothing much new with this one, and a lot of hype. Like 600 calories burned in 4 minutes? I don’t think so.
Summary Zumba, Curves, and Kettlebells are a few more fitness concepts that have had publicity and a following of sorts in recent times.
44
Yes, for all of the above, movement and resistance training is good for you. No, they don’t add anything extraordinary or magical to standard practices, although you should feel free to enjoy any particular programme that encourages you to work hard and get fit.

Global population of obese and overweight tops 2.1bn The number of people in the world who are obese or overweight has topped 2.1 billion, up from 875 million in 1980, the latest figures published in the Lancet show. And not one country is succeeding in treating it, said the research. US, China and Russia had the highest rates and the UK was third in Western Europe, the 188-country study said. Experts said the rise was due to the “modernisation of our world”, causing “physical inactivity on all levels”.
and “active promotion of food consumption by industry”. Prof Ali Mokdad, of the IHME, said no country was beating obesity as it was a relatively new problem. “Obesity is a complex issue that requires action at national, local, family and individual level”
Researchers across the world were led by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) in Washington, in a study they said is the most comprehensive to date. Scientists analysed data from surveys, such as from the World Health Organization, government websites, and reviewed “all articles” about the numbers of obese or overweight people in the world.
The study also reported more obese women than men living in developing countries. Rates tended to be higher for women in developing countries as they were multi-tasking, looking after the family and working, said Prof Mokdad, so did not have the time to dedicate to managing their weight. But more obese men than women lived in developed countries, said the study.
The UK has the third highest rates in Western Europe, with 67% of men and 57% of women overweight or obese, it said. The study called for “urgent global leadership” to combat risk factors such as excessive calorie intake, inactivity, 46

Nagging
could drive men to an early grave
People who are frequently nagged and put upon by family and friends are more likely to die during middle age – and men are most at risk. Individuals who regularly experience stress in their relationships with their partner, children, family, friends or neighbours are two to three times more likely to die prematurely, according to new research. The study, carried out by scientists at the University of Copenhagen and published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, also found that unemployed men are most at risk of going to an early grave. Men are thought to be more significantly affected as they tend to keep problems bottled up and have weaker support networks than women.

Heart Disease Warning:
Lack of exercise is worse risk for over 30’s women Sedentary lifestyles pose a greater heart disease risk to women over 30 than smoking, obesity or high blood pressure, new health data from Australia has shown. Researchers said that the dangers of an inactive lifestyle were being underestimated and deserved to be a much higher public health priority. Smoking was, as expected, the most serious risk factor in women aged 22 to 27, the study from the University of Queensland found, but after the age of 30 smoking rates begin to drop off, and a widespread lack of exercise was found to be the biggest cause of heart problems across the study population.

Homestyle
Summer Pastels Summer 2014 fashion and lifestyle trends have influenced home dÊcor and interior trends alike. Gone are the days of chaotic printed interiors, carpets, sofas, table dÊcor, busy floral walls, curtains and every other surface visible to the eye creating a camouflaged interior – which was once the norm in most households. Muted tones and soft playful pastels, continue to inspire calming and yet, so versatile schemes, complemented with either neutrals to create a softer, peaceful and calming scheme. Or for a striking high impact statement, pair with bolder and complimentary hues.

Recipes America
Barbecued Chicken Breasts with Spicy Peach Glaze USA - Georgia: In a salute to the Georgia peach, we chose this spicy, summery barbecued chicken, glazed with seasoned peach preserves and garnished with juicy grilled peach halves.
Ingredients
(Serves 4)
• 1 cup peach preserves or jam • 1 large clove garlic, minced • 2 tablespoons olive oil • 1 tablespoon soy sauce • 1 tablespoon dry mustard • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper • 1 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper • 4 (1 1/4 pounds each) chicken breasts, split • 4 ripe peaches, cut in half and pitted
58
Method 1. Preheat grill (or BBQ) to medium hot. In a medium mixing bowl, combine preserves, garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, dry mustard, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper, and mix well to combine. 2. Sprinkle chicken breasts with additional salt and pepper, and place, skin side down, on the grill. Cook the chicken about 10 minutes on each side before brushing the upturned side with glaze. Continue cooking chicken for another 10 to 12 minutes, turning it every 3 to 5 minutes and brushing each upturned side with glaze every time, until the chicken is cooked through. Move chicken to the oven or a cooler part of grill if it gets too dark before it is cooked through. 3. Place peach halves on the grill, cut side down, and grill 2 minutes. Turn, and brush the tops with glaze. Grill 3 to 4 minutes more, until the peaches are soft and the cavities fill with juices. Transfer the cooked chicken and peaches to a serving platter.
Next month we visit Vietnam!

Its 600-plus horsepower rating will be the highest of any V-8 engine in Chrysler Group’s celebrated history. The all-new V-8 engine can be mated with an upgraded six-speed manual transmission or a beefy, new TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic - the first such gearbox ever offered in the Dodge Challenger SRT’s timehonoured segment. This new HEMI® Hellcat engine is Dodge and SRT’s first application of V-8 supercharger technology, delivering the full brand experience with fresh potency.
