l mundo de los “gadgets” no deja de sorprender y entre sus novedades aparece un invento tan “wearable” que se lleva sobre la misma piel. Se trata de la pulsera Cicret Bracelet, que proyecta una imagen sobre el brazo que emula la pantalla de un smartphone o una tablet. Si bien es una idea a desarrollar, sus creadores la están moviendo en plataformas de crowdfunding ya que necesitan un millón de euros para desarrollar el prototipo, tiene como mayor novedad su “picoproyector” que extiende sobre el brazo del portador de la pulsera una réplica de la pantalla de su smartphone o de su tablet. Se trata también de una pantalla táctil que aparecería con solo girar la muñeca y que es sumergible en el agua. La Cicret Bracelet dispone de ocho sensores de largo alcance para estar conectada de forma permanente con teléfonos y tabletas de forma que permite realizar las mismas funciones que estos dispositivos, incluso contestar y recibir llamadas de teléfono. It also has a touch screen that is located on the wrist and is able to be submerged in water. The Cicret Bracelet has eight long distant sensors in order to remain connected permanently with telephones and tablets that have the same features as these devices, including receiving and answering telephone calls. on los tubérculos más caros del mundo, porque su cosecha se hace a mano, ya que crece unida a la madre y puede ser demasiado frágil para trabajarse con una máquina. Además, se fertilizan con algas marinas, que le agregan el sabor salado. Se siembran en febrero, se cosechan en mayo y la producción se agota en tan sólo una semana. Se producen 100 toneladas de ellas al año y sólo crecen en una isla en el Atlántico al este de Francia, llamada Noirmoutier. Esta isla conocida como Isla de las Mimosas se caracteriza por un suave clima (lo que permite, entre otras cosas, que las mimosas florezcan en invierno) y un paisaje de marismas salobres, dunas y bosques. Las condiciones climatológicas son favorables para el cultivo de esta papa, de la que se produce una cosecha muy corta en primavera. Se caracterizan por ser de pequeño tamaño, de piel fina y de carne amarilla. Su valor gastronómico se otorga a las cualidades en sabor y textura; mientras que, además, su esencia rige en que ofrecen sabor a mar. La escasa producción y exclusividad de estas papas hacen que se considere uno de los alimentos más caros del mundo. De hecho, se llega a pagar 2300 euros el kilo según la cosecha y la demanda; en tanto, que su principal mercado suele ser Francia y en menos proporción Holanda. hey are the most expensive tubers in the world because its harvest is wholly done by hand and is to fragile to be worked with a machine. In addition, they are fertilized with marine algae that add a salty flavor. They are planted in February and harvested in May and the production is exhausted in just one week. 100 tons of them are produced a year and they are only grown on an island east of France called Noirmoutier in the Atlantic off the coast of France. This archipelago, known as the Island of Mimosa, known for its gentle climate (that allows for the flowering, among other things, mimosas in winter) and a landscape of salt marshes, dunes, and forests. The climate conditions are favorable for growing this potato which is produced during a very short season in the spring. The potato is characterized by its small size, fine skin, and yellow color inside. Its gastronomic value comes from its flavor and texture, while at the same time its essence is reminiscent of the sea. The rare condition of its production and the exclusivity of these potatoes makes them one of the most expensive foods in the world. In fact, depending on the harvest and the demand, they can cost 2300 euros per kilo, therefore, the main market is France and to a lesser extent Holland. üemes nació el 8 de febrero de 1785, en la ciudad de Salta. Durante 1810, al servicio de la causa revolucionaria, se desempeñó al mando de un Escuadrón Gaucho en la Quebrada de Humahuaca impidiendo la comunicación entre los opositores al nuevo régimen y los españoles del Alto Perú. En 1814 el Gral. José de San Martín le encomendó el mando de la avanzada del Río Pasaje iniciando la Guerra Gaucha. Al año siguiente derrotó completamente al poderoso ejército invasor en Puesto del Marqués. Güemes detuvo invasiones al mando de destacados jefes evitando que recuperen el dominio del ex Virreinato del Río de la Plata. Por ello muchos salteños piden que sea reconocido como héroe nacional. Güemes murió el 17 de junio de 1821 en Cañada de la Horqueta, Salta, a los 36 años. En Salta lo veneran como un prócer y sus restos descansan en el Panteón de las Glorias del Norte de la República, ubicado en la Catedral Basílica de Salta capital, en España 558.

During 1810 in service to the cause of Revolution, it was under the command of the Escuadrón Gaucho in Quebrada de Humahuaca, blocking communication between opponents to the new regime and the spaniards from Alto Peru. In 1814, Gen. José de San Martín gave him the command of the advance of Rio Pasaje, starting the Gaucho War. The following year the powerful invading army was completely defeated at Puesto del Marqués. Güemes stopped invasions avoiding that they recover the command of Virreinato del Río de la Plata. Thats why the people of Salta recognize him as a National Hero. Güemes died at June 17, 1821 in Cañada de la Horqueta, Salta, at 36 years old. His rests remain in the Panteón de las Glorias del Norte de la República, at Catedral church in España 558.

Casa Natal Sobre la Calle Balcarce N° 51, de Salta capital, existía el solar donde nació Güemes el 8 de febrero de 1785. Si bien el edificio ya no existe, se lo recuerda por su valor histórico. Actualmente funcionan allí locales comerciales y en su pared del frente se destaca una placa recordatoria.

Cuando funcionaba como institución, era sede de los opositores políticos del Gral. Güemes. El Cabildo sufrió diversas modificaciones arquitectónicas desde su construcción original, pero conserva partes que podrían haberse construido en 1717. Los sectores que más lo caracterizan habrían sido construidos entre 1789 y 1807. En 1937 fue declarado Monumento Histórico Nacional y en 1945 fue restaurado por el arquitecto Mario Buschiazzo. Posee 14 columnas en su parte inferior y 15 en su parte superior, dándole singularidad y encanto a su estilo. Es considerado el Cabildo más completo y mejor conservado de la Argentina. Hoy, es sede del Museo Histórico del Norte, que guarda piezas históricas, cuadros, retratos, muebles, entre otras cosas de gran valor. Allí puede visitarse una sala güemesiana, con objetos originales y réplicas pertenecientes al General Martín Miguel de Güemes y a su familia. También se puede observar un óleo del General en plena Guerra y un sombrero bicornio que solía utilizar para las ceremonias como parte del uniforme de gala. Imposible no conocerlo
