Los tradicionalistas que creen que el queso debería ser sólo de vaca o, en su defecto, de oveja, cabra o búfala, seguramente jamás podrían siquiera soñar que existe el queso de leche de alce y que es uno de los más caros del mundo.

l queso de alce está registrado como uno de los dos más costosos del mundo. El motivo de su elevado precio es que se puede encontrar en un solo lugar: un pueblito llamado Bjurholm que, hasta el censo de 2010, tenía menos de mil habitantes. Este producto alimenticio de lujo, que tiene un costo de 1.100 dólares por kilo, se produce en una granja sueca de 59 hectáreas llamada Älgens Hus (La Casa de los Alces, en sueco), que tiene un estándar de fabricación muy restrictivo: las hembras sólo se pueden ordeñar entre mayo y septiembre. Christer y Ulla Johansson son los propietarios de la granja y producen apenas 300 kilos de queso al año. Además, como consideran los gastos de transporte una carga, venden su producto exclusivamente a restaurantes y hoteles locales, y a los 25 mil turistas que los visitan anualmente. En esta ocasión, la obra compuesta por diez canciones se llama “Random” y muestra a un Charly en un gran momento compositivo, apoyado por una gran banda. El disco salió a las 00 hs del 24 de febrero y ya promete colarse entre los mejores álbumes del artista. Cuando salió “La máquina de ser feliz” como adelanto, unas semanas antes, los fans del ex líder de Serú Giran comenzaron a esperar con entusiasmo esta hermosa sorpresa que les dio este hombre que, hasta hacía poco tiempo no parecía poder volver a brindarse entero en un disco. Sin embargo lo logró, con muchos temas de gran calidad y con letras ácidas y plagadas de ironía. Sin ir más lejos, con su sello de calidad “Say no more”. El álbum explora una gran variedad de sonidos y es recomendable escucharlo con auriculares, porque a Charly le gusta esconder mensajes secretos en sus canciones. De hecho, sus colaboradores debieron sacarle los masters de encima y pasar a impresión, porque si fuera por él, aun hoy seguiría agregándoles toques mágicos a cada una de las canciones. Por suerte, ya todos podemos escuchar Random, una suerte de resurrección del Ave Fénix.

fter a long recovery, some years after having been at the point of death, the musician Charly Garcia published his last disc “Kill Gil.” On this occasion, the work is composed of ten songs called “Random” and shows a Charly at his best, supported by a great band. The disc came out at midnight on February 24 and promises to sneak in among the best of his albums. When “La Máquina de ser feliz”, some weeks before, the ex-leader de Serú Giran began to wait with enthusiasm this surprise sister that this man gave, that until then when it did not seem that he would return again to composing. unque nacido en Estambul, el escritor Petros Márkaris es más griego que Atenas, y allí ubica su saga de novelas que ha tenido gran repercusión mundial, protagonizada por el comisario Kostas Jaritos, antihéroe al que el escritor le tomó tanto cariño que la novela que se publica en estos días, “Offshore”, lo tiene como personaje principal por decimosegunda vez. Con una trama más globalizadora que su “Noticias de la noche”, de 1995, la nueva novela desarrolla un conflicto que está sobre el tapete en la actualidad: “El tema criminal ya no es una cuestión de cadáveres. El problema es la transparencia. Vivimos en un mundo de dinero opaco”, señala el autor. El argumento de la novela comienza con una Grecia que, tan acostumbrada a las crisis, misteriosamente, comienza a experimentar una gran recuperación económica, pero un funcionario de la Secretaría de Estado de Turismo aparece muerto en su casa, atado a una silla y con un tiro en la cabeza. Aunque todo apuntaba a un robo que se torció, el comisario Jaritos no descarta que se trate de un ajuste de cuentas. Sin embargo, el nuevo superior del comisario lo presiona para que cierre el caso. Por eso, Jaritos no tiene otra opción que investigar por su cuenta y riesgo, poniendo en peligro su propia carrera en la Policía, para esclarecer casos que demuestran que los “nuevos” poderes tienen al país atado de pies y manos.

lthough born in Istambul, the writer Petros Márkaris is more Greek than Athenian, and there begins his story that has had great international repercussions as Commisioner Kostas Jaritos, the anti-hero of the writer who has published “Offshore” and has had a starring role as the main character in some dozen books. With a plot more globalized than his “Noticias de la noche” (1995), the new novel develops a conflict based in present times: “The criminal theme is not a question of cadavers. Con 13 puntos para visitar, es uno de los recorridos más extensos del programa, que incluye un acabado muestrario de la vida del sacerdote. Para citar hay mucho, pero podríamos arrancar por la residencia jesuítica (ingreso de la Capilla Doméstica), donde, como estudiante de segundo año de filosofía, vivió el regreso de los primeros sacerdotes

Para conseguirlo, convocó a las damas de la Sociedad de Beneficencia, la Conferencia Vicentina y miembros de la Tercera Orden Dominicana, que reunieron ropa y frazadas, mientras que recorrió comercios para que les regalaran botones y telas con las que luego mandaba a confeccionar pantalones y camisas.

Con la ayuda de sus feligreses y de varias expediciones a Córdoba y Buenos Aires, consiguió donaciones que le permitieron construir la Casa de

Throughout his life, Brochero worked hard on engineering projects that supported the economic development. losophy, he lived with the first Jesuit fathers, and while he lacked a physical place for residence he began to carry out spiritual activities in a small residential home. This is also where the “house of spiritual activities” was and in which Brochero held numerous retreats. The prison of B° San Martín is an important enclave in his long history, since in his new work in Córdoba he could help spiritually and materially the prisoners there. He brought together the women of the Welfare Society, the Vicentina Conference, and members of the Third Dominican Order who donated clothing and blankets, while he contacted businesses for buttons and fabric with which pants and shirts could be made. During his curacy in the ex-Villa del Tránsito, he devoted himself not only to the work of evangelization, but also to the educational and economic development of the area. With the help of his parishioners and through various trips to Córdoba and Buenos Aires, he received many donations that made it possible to build the House of Religious Activities, the Tránsito de María High School, and he built many churches, roads, and even involved himself in engineering projects. Divided into eight parts, one can appreciate the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus that Brochero sanctified on December 7, 1891. It was
the seat of his pastoral labor from 1896 to 1898 and from 1902 until 1908. Constructed in 1886, one could also visit the house of the priest. Located a block from the plaza, he lived there with his sister from 1912 to 1914. It included a dining area, living room, patio and two bedrooms. In one of them he spent the last part of his life in a traditional hammock. The last two points on his journey, is the Los Chiflones aqueduct. It was built by Father Brochero in 1882 for the purpose of providing water to the people of the Villa.

The old church of Ambul (that was before in ruins) was a foundational rock blessed by the Father. In the chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary in Panaholma, he minister to the congregation: baptizing, performing marriage ceremonies, and hearing confessions. He also encouraged the faithful to participate in religious activities and collaborated in the construction of the new church. Acá se puede apreciar la Capilla del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, que Brochero bendijo el 7 de diciembre de 1891 y sede de la labor pastoral del Cura Gaucho desde 1896 hasta 1898 y desde 1902 a 1908. Construida en 1886, también se puede visitar su casa. Ubicada a una cuadra de la plaza, vivió allí con su hermana desde 1912 hasta 1914. Estaba compuesta por un zaguán, un comedor, una sala, patio y dos habitaciones. En una de ellas, pasó la última etapa de su vida recostado en la hamaca estilo thonet. Allí mismo fue velado. El último de los puntos de este recorrido, es el acueducto Los Chiflones. Construido por Brochero en 1882 para proveer agua a los vecinos.
Huellas en Traslasierra A lo largo de su vida, Brochero llevó a cabo una intensa obra de ingeniería que le posibilitó a la región un fuerte desarrollo: iglesias, capillas, canales de riego, diques, bancos, telégrafos, correos y caminos. Constituido en su mayoría por capillas e iglesias, está integrado por 19 tramos. Se trata del último pero no por eso menos importante trayecto que ofrece una mirada sobre la vida del Cura Gaucho. La antigua iglesia de Ambul (que antes estaba en ruinas), tiene su piedra fundacional bendecida por Brochero. En la Capilla de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, en Panaholma, atendió a las necesidades espirituales de su feligresía: bautizó, celebró matrimonios y confesiones. También incentivó a sus fieles para que participaran de los ejercicios espirituales o colaboraran en la construcción de la nueva iglesia. En 1898 el Cura Brochero inició la construcción de la actual Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, que tras ser interrumpida en 1902, fue finalizada en 1907.

omo había prometido, cuando cumplió 40 años, Paloma Herrera colgó las zapatillas de danza y dejó la actividad que más amaba porque, como en todo, y especialmente en esa profesión tan exigente, el tiempo es tirano y el cuerpo va ganando en experiencia pero perdiendo en elasticidad, y ella quería retirarse de los escenarios con la frente en alto y una carrera impecable. Tras un 2016 en el que se dedicó a escribir sus memorias, que serán publicadas para presentarlas en la Feria del Libro de Buenos Aires, hacia fines de abril, regresó al lugar donde empezó su carrera: el Teatro Colón. Esta vez, como directora del Ballet estable. La carrera de los bailarines, si bien no es corta, se termina demasiado temprano, pero también comienza en forma precoz y los obliga a tener una vida diferente a la de la mayoría de los niños, y Paloma supo mantener la disciplina desde muy pequeña. Egresó del Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón con las más altas calificaciones, donde había empezado a estudiar a los 7 años, bajo la tutela de Olga Ferri, otra de las grandes luminarias de la danza en la Argentina, también ex primera figura del Colón y directora del Ballet.
Extranjera de extraordinario talento A los 15 años ya estaba adquiriendo nombre propio y sin hablar una palabra en inglés se atrevió a soñar en grande: desembarcó en Nueva York, donde realizó una audición en la School of American Ballet de George Balanchine, para poder ver de cerca a los grandes profesionales que se formaban allí. Para su sorpresa, cuando terminó la sesión, la llamaron y le ofrecieron un contrato. Antes de pedirle la autorización a sus padres Paloma hizo lo que sentía que tenía que hacer, a pesar de su corta edad aceptó de inmediato e ingresó en el curso más avanzado de esa escuela, considerada la más importante de los EE.UU. Es evidente que las cosas le fueron tan bien que a los 17 años obtuvo su Green Card, algo no muy fácil de lograr, más si se tiene en cuenta que fue la primera ciudadana argentina en recibir su visa de profesional de la danza con la denominación “Extranjero de Extraordinario Talento” -Extraordinary Ability-. Dos años después ya había sido promovida a primera bailarina del American Ballet Theatre, siendo la más joven en toda la historia de esa compañía en alcanzar la máxima jerarquía, y con esta gran responsabilidad conoció el mundo, entre giras constantes por Estados Unidos, Europa, Asia y toda América. Su casa, sin embargo, fue Nueva York, durante 25 años, un número para nada despreciable, más de la mitad de su vida.
De la fama al prestigio Desde 2003 es jurado del Artist Committee para el Premio a la Trayectoria Artística más importante de Estados Unidos, el Kennedy Center Honorees, que se entrega en la National Celebration of the Performing Arts, entregado por el presidente en la Casa Blanca, desde la presidencia de Jimmy Carter.

As a dancer, she has performed in almost all of the starring roles in classic dance, such as Don Quijote, Romeo and Julieta, La Bayadera and Swan Lake.

La sonda Mars 1, una nave de sobrevuelo, sin posibilidades de aterrizar, perdió comunicación con nuestro planeta a unos escasos 100 millones de kilómetros de distancia. Si los cálculos de aquella época están en lo correcto, aún debería estar girando alrededor del Sol. En 1971, tanto Estados Unidos como Rusia lanzaron cada uno otras dos naves gemelas. Sólo una quedará en pié, y sería la europea Mars 3, que consiguió penetrar la atmósfera marciana y enviar una serie de fotografías

¿Vida en Marte? De acuerdo a información oficial, científicos de la NASA ya han seleccionado el lugar de aterrizaje para la próxima misión en el Gigante Rojo, que ocurrirá en 2020. Los elegidos, donde se realizarán diversos tipos de evaluaciones, son: Noreste Syrtis, una parte muy antigua de Marte; el Cráter Jezero, ha sido hogar de un antiguo lago marciano; y Columbia Hills, potencialmente hogar de una antigua fuente termal, explorado por el rover Spirit de la NASA). Mars 2020 está programada para lanzarse en julio de aquel año a bordo de un cohete Atlas V 541 desde el Complejo de Lanzamiento Espacial 41 en la Estación de la Fuerza Aérea de Cabo Cañaveral en Florida. Life on Mars? According to official information, the scientists of NASA have already chosen the landing site for the next mission to the Red Giant that will take place in 2020. The sites that have been chosen based on various criteria are: Northeast Syrtis, a part of an ancient site of Mars and the Jezero Crater, a location that has been explore by the Rover Spirit from NASA. Mars 2020 is scheduled to be launched in July of that

It will also prepare samples for a possible return to Earth on a future mission.
Healed of fear The most recent attempt to reach Mars was the frustrated mission ExoMars 2016. According to the European Space Agency the reasons for failure had to do with software failure that misdirected the landing. Both Jorge Vago, a scientist with the ExoMars Project, as well as Andrea Accomazzo, in charge of space flights with ESA, understood the reason for the failure. In addition, the error in the software, the computer, and the sensors of the landing require retooling for the mission of 2020. Error is easier to correct than the problem with the landing system, so say the ESA. Zona Norte

Esta zona se caracteriza por los vinos blancos frutados, además de los tintos jóvenes. Su altitud no supera los 700 metros. En esta parte la urbanización se mezcla con el aspecto rural y por esta razón, existen diversos modelos productivos para la elaboración del vino. La Cordillera de los Andes de fondo, marca un paisaje único entre medio de los viñedos que ofrecen uvas de gran calidad para la elaboración de vinos únicos. Sus formas escultóricas aluden a los sentimientos humanos, logrando que sus objetos se conviertan fácilmente en obras que expresan y de funcionalidad. Pero el desarrollo de objetos también lo llevó a crear muebles de finísima línea, y hasta ha inventado sillas que en su momento se convirtieron en las más vendidas del mundo, simplemente porque su ingenio hizo que todos pusieran los ojos en él. he French artistic and industrial designer has found many activities that have brought worldwide renown. From creating an extractor that seems like a squid to redesigning the interiors of places like the Palacio del ElĂseo in France or the creating the rooms of the important Hotel Faena of Puerto Madero, Argentina. His sculptured forms link to human sentiments, achieving a combination of art and functionality. But the designs of his creations include a fine line of furniture, even producing some of the most widely sold chairs in the world, simply because his designs are so eye-appealing. His most outstanding creation -for seating- is without any doubt the “Louis Ghost and Victoria Ghostâ€? chairs that are based on the style of Louis the 15th, an amalgam of plastics form with transparent polycarbonate that has sold more than a million and a half units. However, a bit later, in collaboration with Eugeni Quitllet and based on three classic designs, they created the Masters that also became super sellers thanks to their lightness and careful design, made of polycarbonate which makes them extremely light and easy to maintain. uchas son las preguntas que rondan en el uso de desodorantes y antitranspirantes. Los mitos urbanos hasta le han echado la culpa por el cáncer de mama. Para despejar estas dudas médicos especialistas de la Clinica San Camilo responden a todas las dudas que se generaron en los últimos tiempos. Lo cierto es que los antitranspirantes se utilizaron por más de medio siglo como modo de controlar el sudor y el olor corporal y son examinados para que cumplan normas estrictas de seguridad antes de que sean lanzados al mercado. Por ese motivo, si los empleamos de manera adecuada y sin excesos, no tendrían que provocar riesgos para la salud. Sin embargo, no son recomendados para niños que, entre los 8 y 11 años pueden comenzar a sudar con olor. Para ellos son recomendables los desodorantes naturales libres de químicos. Pero hay muchos más mitos que envuelven a los antitranspirantes. ¿Puede impedir que se eliminen las toxinas a través de la transpiración? No. De hecho, en las axilas hay pocas glándulas sudoríparas, que producen el 1% de la transpiración del cuerpo. El cuerpo transpira para controlar la temperatura y no para eliminar toxinas. El hígado y los riñones eliminan la mayor parte de toxinas. ¿Puede producir cáncer de mama? La doctora Mabel Salerno, especialista en dermatología, explicó que no existen pruebas de que el aluminio y los parabenos, ingredientes de algunos antitranspirantes, puedan provocar la enfermedad, ni afectar los niveles de estrógenos. Algunos estudios insinúan que los antitranspirantes podrían dañar el ADN de las células del tejido mamario, pero tampoco existen pruebas que indiquen que este elemento se acumule en el tejido mamario y

pueda afectar el ADN humano. Si bien es cierto que el aumento de cáncer de mama aumenta en países desarrollados, estudios científicos relacionan este incremento con otros factores, no con el uso de antitranspirantes. ¿Aplicarse antitranspirante luego de depilarse permite el ingreso de los ingredientes en el cuerpo más facilmente provocando cáncer? Si bien es cierto que en estas condiciones dichos productos pueden penetrar con mayor facilidad, no está relacionado o probado que aumente el riesgo de cáncer de mama. Hay pocos estudios relacionados con el tema, lo cual se deberá seguir investigando. Por último, la Dra. Salerno plantea la diferencia con el desodorante tradicional , que se encuentra en su mecanismo de acción. Mientras que el antitranspirante controla y reduce la producción y liberación de sudor a la piel, el desodorante sólo neutraliza el mal olor gracias a la presencia de sustancias antibacterianas en su composición.

any are the questions when it comes to the use of deodorants and antiperspirants. There are urban myths that have blamed breast cancer for them. In order to clear up these medical questions, specialists of the San Camilo Clinic have taken up the question recently. Antiperspirants have been used for more than half a century as a way of controlling sweat and body odor and they have been examined for safety before they were marketed. For this reason, if we use them correctly and not excessively, they will not cause risks to our health. Nevertheless, they are not recommended for children between the ages of 8 and 11 when perspiration begins to create body odor. But there are many more myths that surround antiperspirants. Can they impede and eliminate the toxins that perspiration is intended to take care of? No. In fact, there are few glands in the underarms that produce some 1% of the sweat of the body. The body seats in order to control temperature and not to eliminate toxins. The liver and kidneys eliminate the major part of toxins. Can these products cause breast cancer? Doctor Mabel Salerno, a dermatological specialist explains that there is no proof that aluminum and parabens, ingredients in some antiperspirants can cause illness nor affect estrogen levels. Some studies suggest that antiperspirants can injure DNA in mammary cells, but there is not proof that indicate that this element accumulates in mammary glands and can affect human DNA. Although it is certain that the increase of breast cancer exists in developed countries, scientific studies relate this increase to other factors, not to the use of antiperspirants. Does applying antiperspirants after shaving allow the entry of ingredients into the body more easily and, thus, causing cancer? Although it is clear that under these conditions these products can penetrate with greater ease, this has no relationship and there is no proof that it increases of risk of breast cancer. There are few studies related to this question, therefore there will be continuing research. Finally, Dr. Salerno points out the difference between traditional deodorants and antiperspirants. While antiperspirants control and reduce body odor on the skin, the deodorant only neutralizes the bad odor and frees sweat from with antibacterials in their makeup.

gentinos que supo mirar hacia el futuro y lo metafísico. Siempre desarrolló su inquietud por el arte en su totalidad y jamás se restringió a una sola disciplina. La muestra recorre la producción artística de uno de los protagonistas de la vanguardia argentina del siglo XX en más de 180 obras, entre acuarelas, témperas, objetos, máscaras, manuscritos, ilustraciones y documentos personales, y está organizada en seis núcleos temáticos que despliegan los diversos campos de interés y búsquedas formales del artista. Este recorrido exhaustivo lo presenta en sus múltiples dimensiones: pintor, astrólogo, músico, visionario, transformador y “escribidor”. La exposición también explora su vínculo fraternal con el pintor Emilio Pettoruti y con Jorge Luis Borges, y a través de estas relaciones, se detiene en su estadía en Europa, el regreso a la Argentina, en 1924, y su inserción en el medio artístico y literario local. La muestra podrá recorrerse en el Pabellón de exposiciones temporarias del Museo de martes a viernes, de 11 a 20, y sábados y domingos, de 10 a 20, con entrada libre y gratuita. Xul Solar, the man with advanced vision The National Museum of Fine Arts presents an exhibit entitled “Xul Solar. Pan-Activist,” from March 7 to June 17 on the 130th anniversary of the artist’s birth.

orn Oscar Agustin Alejando Schulz Solari (1887-1963), Xul Solar was one of
the few Argentine artists that had the ability to look into the future and metaphysical themes. He always developed his artistic interest in its totality and never to restrict himself to a single discipline. The exhibit reviews the artistic work of one of the leaders of the 20th century Argentine vanguard with more than 180 works, including water colors, temperas, masks, manuscripts, illustrations, personal documents and is organized in six principal themes that show the diverse fields of his interests: painter, astrologer, musician, visionary, innovator, and “escribidor”— writer-recorder. The exhibit also explores his collegial link with the painter Emilio Pettoruti and with Jorge Luis Borges. After his sojourn in Europe he returned to Argentina in 1924 and to his reintroduction in local art and literature. The hours of the exhibit at the museum are Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 8:00. Entrance is free. Beginning on March 14, there will be guided tours from Tuesday to Sunday at 4:00 pm and Friday and Sundays at 6:00 pm.

La Súper Liga China El campeonato de primera división del fútbol chino está organizado por la Asociación China de Fútbol y desde el 2004 (debido al patrocinio comercial de una aseguradora) lleva el nombre de Ping An Chinese Football Association Super League. En el mismo intervienen 16 equipos y como en Japón y Corea del Sur los partidos se disputan en los meses de primavera y verano (nuestro invierno y otoño). A diferencia de la centenaria historia del deporte en nuestro país, en China la primera asociación de Fútbol profesional se fundó en 1994. El primer campeón fue Dalian Shide, entonces conocido como Dalian Wanda. Este equipo es el más ganador de su breve historia con 8 campeonatos conseguidos. El público no acompañó el crecimiento del deporte en esos primeros tiempos y hubo muchos partidos a los que sólo asistían 10 personas. Lentamente el panorama fue cambiando y el interés del chino por este nuevo deporte para ellos cobró algo más de relevancia cuando su selección nacional se clasificó para el mundial FIFA de 2002, en donde logró el penúltimo lugar. The unusual thing is that now the outcomes of this team from the Chinese Super League is on the lips of thousands of fans. And all this thanks to Carlitos Tévez! But to newcomers it is opening a panorama that was completely unknown. What is Chinese football? Here are some details.
The Super League of China The championship of the Chinese first division of football is organized by the Chinese Association of Football and since 2004 (because of the commercial sponsorship of an insurance company) carries the name of Ping An. There are 16 teams, and like in Japan and South Korea, they play during spring and summer (our winter and fall). Different from the 100 history of Argentine football, the first professional football association was founded in 1994 in China. The first champion was Dalian Wanda. This team is the most winning in its brief history with 8 consecutive championships. The public did not follow the sport at first and as a result in the early days only about 10 people attended. Slowly the situation change and interest in China in this new sport caught on when the national team was classified to the World Championship FIFA 2002, when it placed between the two last teams. At the end of the season the team with the most points was declared champion and the last two went to a second category, China League One.

ujuy, es verdad, esconde muchísimas sorpresas y bellezas, paisajes con una naturaleza que impacta y ritos que conmueven. No es ninguna novedad si, por ejemplo, realzamos los atributos que ostenta Purmamarca (que en lengua aymará significa “Pueblo de la Tierra Virgen”), pueblo ubicado al pie del famoso Cerro de los Siete Colores, formación que la posiciona entre los destinos más visitados de la provincia. Pero Purmamarca es más que aquel cerro, mucho más. Con un clima más bien templado, la región presenta una amplitud media anual de 20º. Definido localmente como un recorrido obligado, el Paseo de los Colorados (con sus intensos y preciosos cerros rojos) es una actividad que no puede quedar afuera de ningún itinerario. Hay dos opciones para disfrutarlo: a pie o con un vehículo, sólo hay que saber que si se elige la primera opción habrá que evitar las horas del mediodía en el verano, ya que no hay muchos refugios con sombras en el camino. Se ingresa desde la entrada del pueblo, y tiene una longitud de unos cuatro kilómetros. Cabe aclarar que para peatones hay señalizados e indicados caminos secundarios y cortadas, que permiten vivir la experiencia de otra manera. Rituales de fe Otro de los atractivos son sus celebraciones comunitarias, como el Misachico: una ceremonia religiosa que realizan familias o grupos de conocidos en honor a un Santo o por una festividad católica. Se trata de una forma muy antigua de religiosidad popular en la cual se saca en procesión al Santo o a la Virgen María, imágenes que se conservan en sus hogares en unas urnas de madera con puertas de vidrio y adornadas con ramilletes de flores de papel de todos los colores. En la fecha de la celebración se rezan las plegarias de la novena durante los primeros días en la casa de la familia que guarda la imagen y las restantes en el camino a la capilla o iglesia más cercana. La procesión avanza con la urna transportada por cuatro fieles que van rotando a lo largo del camino. Quien encabeza la marcha tiene la tarea de ejecutar un tamboril. Atrás, los fieles van recitando oraciones, cantando coplas y bailando, al ritmo de sikus, bombos, erkes y charangos.
