Villa La Angostura, a dreamland in the province of Neuquen in the Andes Mountains is located on the Nahuel Huapi Lake and it’s a charming and quiet mountain place with constructions in stone and wood to preserve harmony with the landscape. This city has one of the only wood of Myrtles (Arrayanes) in the world.

San Martín de los Andes is one of the centers with the greatest tourism development in the province of Neuquén. It is close to Lanín, Nahuel Huapi, and Arrayanes national parks so its a “must-go” destination when visiting Patagonia. There are a lot of excursions departing from the city to sail along Lácar and Nonthué Lakes. Chapelco, an important winter sports center, is located 20 minutes away from the lakes and has 140 hectares to ski on. It also has modern ski lifts and 20 ski fields between woods and mountain ridges.

In Santa Cruz you will find the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares (Glaciers national park) with a majestic beauty that makes the Glaciers a unique wonder in the world. The National park has been declared World Heritage by the UNESCO. The Perito Moreno Glacier is the emblem of the National Park and you can access to it from El Calafate, a city located 50 miles away from the Glacier. This huge mass of continental ice can be seen from the footbridges going along the Perito Moreno Lake and placed in a way that allows visitors to see every angle.

What is more, you can take a boat to navigate across the lake watching both sides –north and south—, but the greatest challenge will be to go mini trekking on the glacier: it’s a 40-mi–nutes walk that ends with a toast using ice taken from the glacier.

Finally, Ushuaia, capital of Tierra del Fuego, has a unique feature: it is the southernmost city in the world. And it’s more than that: its beauty makes Ushuaia a sensatio–nal attraction. It is also the main entrance to the Antarctica, it is the most active port in summer season, it is the head of the Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego (Tierra del Fuego National Park) and, what is more, it is a picturesque city surrounded by the sea, the woods, the lakes and the mountains.
