Escovar o cabelo de manhã e à noite ajuda a limpar as impurezas do exterior; Espaçar ao máximo as lavagens, o ideal é lavar de 48 em 4 8 h o r a s ; Us a r á g u a m o r n a n o b a n h o é i m p e r a t i v o , independentemente da estação do ano; Privilegiar a secagem ao natural, caso se use o secador, o ideal é usar com ar frio e evitar o contacto frontal com a raiz; Evitar tocar no cabelo, principalmente se o cabelo for oleoso; Usar o cabelo solto, pois não é aconselhável estar todo o dia com tranças ou rabo de cavalo; Usar gorros e bonés apenas quando o couro cabeludo estiver bem seco e durante pouco tempo.
