If so, a trip to the Covent Garden Market on Sunday may be in order as the Fiesta London Mexican Festival is set to debut. “It’s a celebration of Hispanic heritage here in London,” said organizer George

It’s here! Fiesta London was formerly called Cinco de Mayo and held at the beginning of May. Organizers shifted the month, citing better weather. The festival runs 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For a complete schedule of events, visit fiestalondon.lajornada.ca. In years past, the festival has drawn as many as 5,000 people. It’s not only for Hispanic people — last year, 40 per cent of visitors were non-Hispanic, Perez estimates.
