JEWELLERY & WATCHES

With earth-toned hues and chic tweed, Breitling’s newest capsule collection takes its cues from a trek through the Scottish Highlands.

FACE THE ELEMENTS, FASHIONABLY: INTRODUCING THE SUPEROCEAN HERITAGE ’57 HIGHLANDS CAPSULE COLLECTION Breitling’s 1950s-era SuperOcean dive watch was designed to take its stylish wearers from sea to shore and back again. Now, the new Superocean Heritage ’57 Highlands Capsule Collection invites Breitling fans on a new coastal journey: exploring the rocky shores and misty peaks of the Scottish Highlands. “All our capsule collections tell a different story. For the Superocean Heritage ’57 Highlands Capsule Collection, we wanted to evoke a very specific feeling of walking in the Scottish Highlands,” said Breitling CEO Georges Kern of the exclusive collection. “From the

moment you set out in a tweed jacket and wool sweater, to a day spent roaming windswept cliffs, to that welcome return home to warm up by a crackling fire, dog at your side. The Highlands Capsule Collection is designed to be there every step of the way.” As a capsule collection, the range counts a limited volume, available for a limited time. Each piece comes at a 38 mm diameter, featuring vibrant land-and-sea-inspired dial colors of beige, green, mustard, and blue. Like their vintage SuperOcean predecessor, they feature midcentury-inspired triangular indexes marking the hours.

ALWAYS IN SEASON One distinctly Scottish detail showcased throughout the Highlands Capsule Collection: a tweed-inspired fabric strap, made of a sumptuous blend of silk and wool. All the watches are sold on a metal mesh bracelet, while the complementary fabric strap comes in a separate pouch, along with a springboard tool for easy strap changes. Each subtly speckled, tweed-inspired strap complements its colored dial: the blue version is paired with a dark brown strap, the beige dial with a classic brown strap, and both the green and the mustard-toned dials with a green strap. For those who like to mix and match, an additional blue strap can be purchased separately.

THE ROLLING STONES AUTOMATON – ONLY WATCH

IT’S ONLY LOVE – AND I LIKE IT

Jaquet Droz has supported Only Watch right from the start. The firm’s piece is based around the colourful world of children at play, brought to life by the mechanical wonders of the Rolling Stones Automaton.

At the heart of the creation lies the desire to give the Rolling Stones Automaton a new face. The brief was to create a fun timepiece bringing to mind children at play with the kind of colours and movements that fascinate kids – and awaken the child in all of us.

Beneath the offset hours and minutes display at twelve o’clock, a first disc showcases the Stones’ instruments, recalling their first records, their early concerts, and the first broken taboos. Ron Wood’s guitar and Charlie Watts’ drum kit are instantly recognisable, and accompanied by Ron Wood’s and Keith Richards’ other guitars. All the instruments have been crafted from gold blocks and painted, including Mick Jagger’s harmonica, just a few tenths of a millimetre across. The gear is arrayed on a satin black vinylcoloured disc replicating the LPs of the day. The scene is surrounded by a second disc that comes to life when the pusher is activated, completing 8 rotations lasting 30 seconds each. The Stones’ iconic tongue rises and falls, moving from left to right as it does so. The power reserve is shown at nine o’clock by a cam replicating the tonearm and stylus of a traditional record turntable. As it rotates, the brightly-coloured spiral creates an optical illusion just like a child’s spinning top. Each

colour has been hand-painted to match the Only Watch palette with artisanal skill, using only natural pigments; each sits impeccably next to the next, without any physical separation. In the centre of the piece, another Rolling Stones tongue glows in the dark, calling to mind the nightlight in a child’s bedroom. “Some watches tell time. Some tell a Story”

INTRODUCING THE FABERGÉ X REGENT SEVEN SEAS CRUISES

‘JOURNEY IN JEWELS’ EGG OBJET

Fabergé, the world’s most iconic artist jeweller, has partnered with Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, the world’s leading luxury ocean cruise line, to produce a one-ofa-kind egg objet.

The Fabergé x Regent ‘Journey in Jewels’ Egg Objet is the pièce de résistance of Regent’s 1600-piece art collection now on display aboard its newest ship, Seven Seas Grandeur™, and is the first Fabergé egg to permanently reside at sea.

and great-granddaughter of Peter Carl Fabergé, was appointed by Regent as Godmother of Seven Seas Grandeur™, and unveiled the ‘Journey in Jewels’ egg at the ship’s christening ceremony in Miami, Florida on 10th December 2023.

While Sarah performed her Godmother duties at the elegant

and exclusive gala event, she wore bespoke Fabergé x Regent Earrings and Ring, inspired by ‘Journey in Jewels’; these unique creations will be auctioned to raise funds for the Gemfields Foundation. “I am honored to have been chosen as Godmother to this exceptional new ship which, like Fabergé, has

been inspired by the past and reimagined for the future,” said Sarah Fabergé. As Godmother, Sarah Fabergé will host a Fabergé Spotlight Voyage aboard Seven Seas Grandeur™, sailing 1st July 2024, enveloping luxury travelers into the world of Fabergé with small group masterclass programmes, exclusive access to unique and intimate shore-side tours, jewelled egg demonstrations and lectures and screenings. Crafted in England, the unique Fabergé x Regent ‘Journey in Jewels’ is inspired by the seven seas that Regent’s ships traverse, and features an array of colourful gemstones which evoke the colours of the ocean, alongside guilloché enamel and ombre lacquering to represent not only the waters, but also the sunrises and sunset witnessed aboard Regent’s ships. Designed by Liisa Tallgren, Fabergé’s Head of Design, and overseen by Josina von dem Bussche-Kessell, Fabergé’s Creative Director, the Fabergé x Regent ‘Journey in Jewels’ Egg Objet has been crafted using time-honoured techniques, with the production of the piece overseen by Fabergé Workmaster, Paul Jones, at his workshop in southern England. Jones was also responsible for the creation of the Fabergé x Game of Thrones and Fabergé x RollsRoyce Motor Cars egg objets. The complete journey from sketch to final creation for ‘Journey in Jewels’ has taken a year and a half to come to fruition. The outer ‘shell’ of the egg has been enamelled in an ombre of blues, representative of the colors of the sea. This ‘shell’ consists of seven intricate blades which, just like a wave, each break into a ‘sea foam’ of pearls and white diamonds at the tips in a truly extraordinary aesthetic feat. The majestic egg sits upon a plinth adorned with emeralds, tsavorites, blue sapphires and white diamonds, set in Fabergé’s ‘Emotion’ pavé style, with colourful gems specially

chosen to evoke the colors of the ocean. This gem-set plinth is anchored to a stand which reflects layers of waves accented with pearls and diamonds at the edges; this design element is more geometric and symmetrical in a nod to the helm of Seven Seas Grandeur™. As with all Fabergé eggs, there is more than meets the eye. By rotating the pearl ‘helm’ anticlockwise, the seven blades, a number specially chosen to represent the ‘seven seas’, delicately open in unison to reveal a surprise hidden within. As the egg opens, you can see that the interior of the blades have been meticulously lacquered in a style that is reminiscent of the appearance of water ripples, with diamond-set crests of waves placed at intervals to conjure up images of the sea. This lacquering technique is highly complex and takes many years of training before it can be accomplished.

Once open, your eyes are then drawn to the Fabergé surprise nestled inside – another handpainted egg, which is cradled by a ‘wave’ and delicately rotates, revealing the changing gradient of colours of the sunrises and sunsets at sea, and seasonal elements you can witness aboard Seven Seas Grandeur™. This egg has also been decorated with an abundance of sparkling gemstones, including a diamond-set frost pattern which wraps around the egg surprise, inspired by the Fabergé Winter Egg of 1913. The Winter Egg is poignant, as it was designed by Alma Pihl, a female Finnish designer who worked with Fabergé. Peter Carl Fabergé liked to push the boundaries and was a pioneer, and it was highly unusual for a female to be in the workshops in the early 1900s, let along be holding the position of designer. But he celebrated Pihl’s talent, and she went on to produce some of Fabergé’s most celebrated pre-1917

re-started from scratch. It takes at least three layers and five firings in the kiln to create the desired translucent effect, to best showcase the beauty of the light reflecting off the enamel and the depth of the detail that lies beneath on the outer egg blades and the egg’s stand and ‘helm’.

creations. Today, the spirit of Pihl lives on through Fabergé’s Head of Design, Liisa Tallgren, a female designer also born and raised in Finland. Hand-carved mother-of-pearl clouds, alongside white opals set in 18k yellow gold, are also featured and are revealed as the egg turns – the warmth of the yellow gold evokes the sunshine, and the opals represent the rainbows which emerge through the clash of weather. In two ground-breaking firsts, Fabergé has applied the complex technique of ombre lacquering to the egg, and has developed a new bespoke mechanism which powers the rotation of the inner egg surprise. The intricate development of this mechanism has taken many months to perfect and has been overseen by Fabergé’s Workmaster, Paul Jones, who has over 40 years of experience.

It takes an average of 10 years for Jones’s small team of craftspeople to train on the art of hand-painting in an ombre style of lacquering – and only a small number of craftspeople are experienced in this technique. The ombre blend has to be built carefully in a number of layers and using colours which melt at a similar temperature to ensure the lighter and darker blue colours sit perfectly together. The blue guilloché enamel also seen on the egg provides an almost liquid-like effect. Peter Carl Fabergé was considered a genius of the ancient technique of enamelling, offering over 145 new colours, and establishing himself as a true pioneer in the field, a legacy that the Maison proudly continues today. Enamelling is a seemingly magical process by which powdered coloured glass is bonded to a surface via heat of around 800 degrees centigrade – it’s a delicate art, a few seconds too long in the kiln and the piece will need to be

Liisa Tallgren, Fabergé’s Head of Design says of the creation: “The Fabergé x Regent ‘Journey in Jewels’ Egg Objet is inspired by the colors of the sea, such as the blues and the greens of the water that reflect and sparkle in sunlight. It’s also inspired by water in its different forms – smooth surfaces, ripples, waves and tunnels and white foam, droplets and sharp ice crystals. The rotating surprise nestled inside has been painted with ombre lacquer in colours which reflect the ever changing skies at sea; sunsets and sunrises accompanied by clouds and ice and raindrops, which unite to create the colours of the rainbow that are captured in the opals. I’ve been very fortunate to have travelled onboard one of Regent’s ships, and was taken aback by the level of service and care from the staff, with every little detail perfected – from interior design to cuisine and excursions on land. I was inspired by the whole experience and spent hours on the deck, watching the changing colours of the sky that were reflected on the water, and particularly remember sailing in Turkey, somewhere between Bodrum and Antalya, at sunset when the whole sky and sea were pink, orange and yellow, sailing past purple and lilac islands, evoking scenery from a fairytale which I’ll never forget. What I love about cruising is that you can visit so many destinations without having to repack because the suite is your home that travels with you.”

BALENCIAGA

CHARACTER This year 2023, the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum commemorates the 50th anniversary of the death of Cristóbal Balenciaga with an exhibition that examines a new, unexplored perspective of his work focused on what makes “a Balenciaga” recognisable.

Cristóbal Balenciaga Eizaguirre (Getaria, 21 January 1895-Valencia, 23 March 1972), whom his professional colleagues (Dior, Chanel and Givenchy) considered the “Master” of haute couture, was one of the most influential fashion designers of the 20th century. Over a professional career of five decades, Balenciaga ran his haute couture firms in Spain (San Sebastian (1917), Madrid (1933) and Barcelona (1935)) and France (Paris (1937)). He made his name synonymous with elegance, avantgarde, beauty and timelessness. His work is laden with improbable volumes and fabrics taken to the extremes of their possibilities, where the meticulous work of each buttonhole, the sumptuous

ISSUE ISSUE 62 62 2024 2024

embroidery, the precision in each sleeve, and the minimum amount of seams in the cut take pride of place. In the words of Miren Vives, Director of the centre, “The Museum is the only institution in the world that permanently keeps, researches and disseminates the figure and work of Balenciaga, not only on this 50th anniversary, but every year since it was founded. Its existence is, in itself, the best tribute, and our day-to-day work is our humble homage to this great creator”. “We believe that our mission is to bring something new to each exhibition and that is why this year we are proposing not only some of the silhouettes and volumes for which Balenciaga is known in the history of fashion, but also want to

involve the public in other aspects that are not so visible but which also form part of the character of his work,” she adds. The exhibition raises questions such as: What is “a Balenciaga”? What makes them different? What makes them recognisable? What gives them their character? From the recognisable exterior silhouette to the exquisite interior finishes of haute couture, the exhibition reveals the hidden details that make Balenciaga’s work a benchmark in 20th-century fashion and a source of inspiration for contemporary creation. The exhibition seeks to show a new perspective of the work of Cristóbal Balenciaga, while at the same time disseminating the work of the Museum to make both concepts easier for the public to understand. For this reason, the aesthetics of the exhibition are based on clean, neutral spaces that evoke the archives and conservation area

The rooms are then organised according to the designs that distinguish Balenciaga’s career on the outside, and show some of the techniques that make it possible on the inside. Thus, the second room presents the historicist silhouettes for evening wear and fine tailoring that characterised Balenciaga’s creations in the 1940s, offering a glimpse of the different formulas used to create these volumes without renouncing comfort, which, for Balenciaga, was an essential component of feminine elegance. The exhibition displays patterns that show the constructive minimalism and wrap effect that characterised Balenciaga’s tailoring in the 1960s.

of the museum’s collections. The colour scheme adds nude tones to the white of the rooms, revealing the identity and interior of the garments on display, while the design of the exhibition brings us closer to the superimpositions of the layers and structures that form the framework of the garments.

However, some garments may never have come with a label, or they may have lost it at some stage in their life, which is why this room raises the question of how and what checks are performed to ensure that a garment attributable to Balenciaga is accepted into the museum’s collection.

Curated by Igor Uria, Director of Collections at the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum, this exhibition features 90 pieces spread over five rooms in which visitors can see silhouettes, volumes, fabrics and embroidery, and discover that inner world, often hidden, made possible by the cut, technique and finishes of haute couture.

Throughout his business career, Cristóbal Balenciaga used different label names, with different trade names and different spellings: EISA Costura, Balenciaga EISA B.E, EISA, BALENCIAGA.10, Avenue George V.

The visit opens with a reference to a first interior element, the label, which distinguishes many, but not all, of the references in the museum’s collection. With different names and lettering, in different shapes and colours, sewn in various locations on a garment (back, collar, waist, side seam, etc.), the label is the most obvious way to recognise the authorship of a garment.

The third room focuses on the tailoring of the 50s and 60s, highlighting the wraparound lines of the coats and the perfect fit of the jackets to promote interior space and the harmonious movement of the arms. The secrets of these shapes lie in the masterful cutting that can be seen in the patterns exhibited in the showroom, and in the inner use of shoulder pads and leads to give the garments balance. The fourth room, more focused on dressmaking, looks at the design of the tunic line, from 1955 onwards, a milestone in the history of 20th-

Authorised copying was part of the fashion business. These are garments made by third parties from a complete model purchased inhouse. Therefore, it is the authorised name that appears on the label, with a reference to the original. At the same time, such was the impact of Balenciaga’s creations and so great was the public’s desire to wear them that illegal copies were common and even counterfeits of the label itself were made.

century fashion based on formal simplicity and interpreted by Balenciaga in different ways. The tunic line is complemented by a line of bloused back ensembles characteristic of his production during the same period. The lighter weight of the cocktail fabrics reveals a fundamental feature of Balenciaga’s creations, common to Parisian haute couture: the delicacy of the interior finishes. Balenciaga’s creations are completed with very careful finishes according to the standards of haute couture, and almost always hidden under the lining of the garment. The last room shows the majestic volumes and richness of fabrics and ornaments so typical of the Master of haute couture, reflecting the interior air of the wraps, which add that quality of “floating” inside the dress in movement and which Richard Martin, Director of the Fashion Department of the Metropolitan Museum in New York between 1973 and 1999, described as follows:

THE ART OF LUXURY

ISSUE 62 2024

Balenciaga’s evocation of “a walking dream” is the definitive testimony to his commitment to the perfect form, not realised on models, ideas or static figures, but with full recognition of the body’s function and floating within the excellent cut of the dress. The Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum opened on 7 June 2011 and is located in Getaria, the couturier’s birthplace and the scene of his formative years and professional maturity, essential for understanding his contribution to the world of fashion. With the aim of raising awareness of Balenciaga’s life and work, his relevance in the history of fashion and design, and the contemporaneity of his legacy, the Museum houses a unique collection. Its size, with over 3,500 pieces in a collection that continues to grow thanks to deposits and donations, and its formal and

chronological extension, including, for example, the couturier’s earliest surviving models, make it one of the most complete, coherent and interesting collections. Another exceptional value of the collection lies in the sources of the pieces. Not in vain were Balenciaga’s major international clients prominent social figures in the middle of the 20th century: Mona Von Bismarck, Rachel L. Mellon, Patricia López Wilshaw, Barbara Hutton, Lilian Baels, Grace Kelly and Madame Bricard wore some of the models kept in the archives.

DUCATI DIAVEL FOR BENTLEY:

EXCLUSIVITY, PERFORMANCE AND CRAFTSMANSHIP IN A TRUE TWO-WHEELED WORK OF ART Ducati and Bentley are proud to jointly announce a new, limited-edition motorcycle that celebrates the best of both iconic brands: the Ducati Diavel for Bentley.

Born from a collaboration between the two manufacturers, the project links Ducati and Bentley with a vision of performance, craftsmanship and exclusivity. The result is a striking synthesis of technology, style and performance capable of making enthusiasts dream. The bike will be revealed

to the public tonight with a ‘fuorisalone’ event at Art Basel in Miami, the overseas edition of the most prestigious European contemporary art fair. On the sophisticated technical base of the high-performance and comfortable Diavel V4, Ducati has integrated characterising elements of the Bentley Batur – of which only 18 examples will be handcrafted by Bentley - to create a motorcycle unique in terms of elegance and design. The Diavel for Bentley will be created in a numbered series limited to 500 examples,

plus an additional 50 even more special “Ducati Diavel for Bentley Mulliner” motorbikes. The latter are reserved for Bentley customers, and include the personalisation and individuality that is so intrinsic to the Batur on which the bikes are based.

THE INSPRIATION – BENTLEY BATUR Batur is Bentley’s most powerful production car ever, with a 740 PS twin-turbo W12 engine. More than that, the Batur combines benchmark Bentley craftsmanship

The rider’s seat, in black Alcantara, is inspired by the interior of the car, with precision workmanship that reveals the underlying red fabric with the same to that of the Batur seats and with the Bentley logo embroidered on the rear pad. The dual outlet exhaust, with its cover, has been redesigned to harmonize with the refined lines of the bike. with sculptured, muscular bodywork that defines a new design DNA for Bentley with previews a new design direction for the brand. The visual message communicates great power and elegance, without ostentation or excess. The 18 examples of the Batur are individually hand-crafted by Mulliner, the oldest coachbuilder in the world and Bentley’s in-house bespoke division.

DIAVEL FOR BENTLEY The Centro Stile Ducati, in collaboration with Bentley designers, created a new design for this special motorbike, drawing inspiration from the Batur from which it takes the lines of the side view. The Scarab Green colour, sophisticated and refined and rich in metallic shades comes from the Bentley Mulliner palette and is used throughout the bodywork. The decisive and aggressive lines of the Diavel V4 have also been profoundly revised through the technical components: many of the characteristic features of the Batur are taken up in different parts of the bike. The forged rims, designed and created for this motorbike, recall the shapes of those of the car and are painted in Dark Titanium Satin, leaving some machined surfaces visible.

The side air intakes reflect the twotone front grille, one of the most recognizable elements of the Batur. The triangular rear extractors refer to the corresponding elements of the car. The front mudguard, the fairing and the upper view of the tank recall the ribs on the front bonnet, while the single-seater tail, which can be replaced with a passenger seat, takes many styling cues from the rear of the Batur. Many of the bodywork components are made of high-quality carbon fibre (fenders, headlamp cover, engine, exhaust and radiator covers, radiator shrouds, side panels, tail piece).

DIAVEL FOR BENTLEY MULLINER In addition to the 500 Diavel for Bentley examples, Ducati also offers a series of just 50 examples, called Diavel for Bentley Mulliner. The 50 Diavel for Bentley Mulliner motorbikea will be available exclusively to customers of Mulliner, who through direct collaboration with the designers of the Centro Stile Ducati, will be able to configure their Diavel for Bentley Mulliner with different colours for the saddle, front brake calipers, carbon fibre parts and rims. They

will also be able to choose the same colour as their car for the bodywork parts or one of those from an exclusive palette selected by Mulliner’s designer for this special and highly exclusive series.

THE FINAL DETAILS The Diavel for Bentley, like all collectible Ducatis, is delivered with a certificate of authenticity, a passenger seat and a motorcycle cover. The name of the model and the production number of the unit are shown on a plate inserted in the carbon fibre cover of the vertical head, on the right side of the motorcycle. Both the dashboard, equipped as standard with turnby-turn navigator, and the LED matrix of the rear light cluster offer a special animation at the key-on which makes the Diavel for Bentley even more unmistakable. Finally, each Diavel for Bentley will be delivered in an exclusive personalised wooden case. The collaboration between the two manufacturers has also led to the creation of a Capsule Collection, reserved for Diavel for Bentley owners, which allows

THE ART OF LUXURY

customers to complete their look with a jet helmet and a technical jacket (available in both men’s and women’s versions) in a limited edition, characterized by a colour scheme that reflects that of the motorbike. The Diavel for Bentley adopts the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, a central element of its design and at the same time a highly refined technical choice. Powerful (168 hp), rich in torque but also extremely light and compact, it is at the same time fluid and usable right from the lowest revs. The Twin Pulse combustion order, together with

the dedicated exhaust system, unmistakably characterize the timbre of the exhaust. This joint project stems from Ducati and Bentley both being part of the Volkswagen Group’s “Progressive Brand Group”, which also includes Audi and Lamborghini.

NAUTIBUOY CELEBRATES ITS 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH FOUR NEW PRODUCTS AT BOOT DÜSSELDORF 2024 20 – 28 JANUARY 2024 MESSEGELÄNDE, DÜSSELDORF HALL 9 / A11

NautiBuoy, the market leader of DAME-award-winning premium floating platforms for superyachts, announces the launch of four new products in celebration of its 10th anniversary, on stand A11 in hall 9 at boot Düsseldorf 2024. Renowned as the industry-first innovators to design a versatile platform for expanding usable space on the water for superyachts, NautiBuoy has made waves in the market for a decade with its premium yacht accessories. The compact, easy to inflate platforms deliver superior durability and premium quality, acting as a social sunbathing deck, a dock for water toys, and a secure maintenance platform all in one.

YACHTS & YACHTING

The inflatable platforms are specially designed to attach and extend the aft of a superyacht to create customisable beach clubs in minutes. Available in four sizes, the platforms can be connected in a variety of different ways to create everything from large traditional beach clubs, jet ski pontoons and water-sports centres to classic walkways, a diving platform and a secure maintenance platform, with the optional addition of C-docks SEABOB docking stations, inflatable steps and L-Bow joints for high transoms. The modular platforms connect via innovative Air Toggle technology, an entrapment free connection which means no hard or mechanical parts are needed. Due to the inflatable design, platforms can be rolled up and stored efficiently in a tender garage, without compromising on valuable stowage space. The largest platform weighs 42kg and can be carried by just two crewmembers. The platforms are completed with NautiBuoys unique, soft under foot PE Faux teak foam, for a sleek finish.

Responding to the huge boom of E-foiling boards on the market, NautiBuoy has designed a drive on, drive off solution to dock the wide variety of boards available. The new NautiBuoy E-Foil Dock takes seconds to inflate and attaches to existing platforms, using its Air Toggle technology. Inflating and attaching to the platform takes boaters less than a minute and requires very little space for stowage. The NautiBuoy C-Shade is for boaters who want to stay cool. A fully inflatable, multifunctional canopy, the C-Shade allows guests to enjoy shaded areas of the

platform throughout the day or for use directly alongside the platforms, creating a cool spot for tenders and jet skis. It can also be used whilst floating freely, anchored at the shore or on the beach itself. NautiBuoy’s new inflatable and netted Sea Pools create a comfortable space to enjoy the water without the risk of jellyfish or other sea life. Available in two sizes, the Sea Pools provide a safe environment for children to play in, with a barrier protecting them from the marine wildlife. Designed with an extraordinarily firm underfoot, the sides of the superior pools are perfect for docking water toys and

To celebrate NautiBuoy’s ten year anniversary, the brand is proud to unveil four new modular inflatable products to its portfolio of “ready to ship” products, on stand A11, in hall number 9, at boot Düsseldorf.

small tenders, or connecting other products from the NautiBuoy range. Made from premium grade drop-stitch material and fitted with marine grade zips for net attachment, NautiBuoy’s Sea Pools are the much-needed addition to the brand’s modular system. The final addition to NautiBuoy’s new range is the Double Bay Jet Ski Dock. Elevating the jet ski experience and ensuring a safer and more comfortable embarking and disembarking process, the Double Bay Jet Ski Dock provides valuable protection to the jet skis in varying sea conditions and allows riders to drive straight into the dock. It can be used as a stand-alone product or connected to the Sea Pools and platforms. Clay Builder, NautiBuoy CoFounder and Head of UK Sales, comments, “Celebrating a decade of innovation and success, we are thrilled to launch four new premium products at boot Düsseldorf 2024! Sunreef Yachts CEO Francis Lapp has joined the ongoing expedition in Greenland. The renowned explorer spearheads the mission, evaluating global environmental changes with a primary focus on climate change. The expedition’s goal is to raise awareness about environmental issues and inspire individuals worldwide to pursue their exploration aspirations. “I decided to participate in this remarkable expedition with the

dual purpose of being a part of the extraordinary exploration in Greenland and personally assessing the current state of the planet. This experience has served as a profound source of motivation for me to continue to act for a sustainable future within the yachting industry.” Francis Lapp, CEO & Sunreef Yachts Founder “Guiding my sailing vessel Pangaea, I return to iconic and wild locations to witness changes, fulfill more desires on my adventurer’s bucket list, and inspire people to act on their passions. At each destination, I prioritize Adventure and Environment, sharing stories and footage from my journey.” Mike Horn, Explorer. Recently refurbished by Sunreef Yachts to address the wear from past adventures and equipped to face upcoming challenges, Pangaea serves as the home base for “What’s Left.” Pangaea was named after the supercontinent that existed hundreds of million years ago. Today, like the supercontinent once did, she serves as one global reunion place, as well as a mobile platform for research, adventure and meaningful experiences.

With the equivalent of 25 circumnavigations of the world at her helm, Pangaea is designed as a 4x4 of the oceans, allowing her to sail to the most remote corners of the globe. Greenland, is one of the last great wilderness areas on Earth and a secluded and often overlooked part of the globe. Contrary to common belief, the Arctic is closely linked to the rest of the world, with global

implications for its happenings. Greenland, therefore, emerges as the perfect starting point for this new adventure. The journey will continue with a trip to the Arctic, followed by visits to the Amazon, Patagonia and Antarctica. Exploring North Siberia and Alaska will allow the team to complete comprehensive global research.

PRETTY IN PINK:

THE 24-METRE CATAMARAN VISIONF 80 THAT STANDS OUT FROM THE CROWD VisionF Yachts presents the 4th and last hull in its successful 24.6-metre VisionF 80 aluminium catamaran series before the model is superseded by the larger VisionF 82. Built for an international tech entrepreneur, the yacht is guaranteed to stand out from the crowd.

Whereas the 3rd hull was a special all-black edition, this time the client requested his yacht be painted a custom shade of pink. “I am very happy to take part even at the delivery stage of this project, she is unique in many ways,” said Ali Tanir, General Manager of VisionF Yachts. “The hull colour and a lot of design points created with all details thanks to Thurstan Design – London. I would like to use this opportunity to thank them for their great support. It was a great pleasure collaborating with them and I hope you would all like the result as much as we do.” Despite her eye-catching paintwork, the 4th VisionF 80 hull boasts the same winning design features as her predecessors in the all-aluminium catamaran series, namely: •

A massive amount of main deck space both inside and out thanks to the maximum beam of 9.7 metres, including a 54-sqm main salon.

Luxury accommodation in four guest suites for 8 (plus 5 crew).

A very large light-filled galley on the lower deck.

A modest draft of just 0.80 metres makes her ideal for cruising shallow waters.

The interior has been fitted out according to the owner’s personal tastes with fixed furniture produced in-house by VisionF as well as pieces supplied by top designer labels such as Rove Concepts, Moro, Crate & Barrel, Kravet, Paola Lenti and Farrow & Ball. Not forgetting the fly bridge, which can be reached from the aft deck and has an exterior helm station. This is a fantastic party space, but also for sunbathing or simply enjoying the sea views from the comfy sunpads and seating upholstered in weather-resistant fabrics. Wide, teak-clad steps lead down to the stern platform, which can

be hydraulically lowered for easy access to the water and raised for storing the Williams jet tender. Fitted with twin Volvo Penta IPS 1050 drives, the VisionF 80 has a maximum speed of 18 knots and a range of over 1,800 nautical miles.

IT’S ALL AROUND YOU Welcome to Tiaré, a luxurious yet traditional Indonesian Phinisi that will take you on a journey of discovery to some of the most stunning diving spots in the world.

The Tiaré began as the dream of 5 cousins, discussed over a summer dinner party. This dream to create a luxurious dive boat built by the master builders of South Sulawesi came together with careful design, the sturdiest and most beautiful materials sourced from sustainable sources, high-tech components and safety equipment… and of course, time. Experience diving in the rich waters of the Indonesian archipelago and meet people from the many different cultures on the diverse Indonesian islands that you would never have the opportunity to see while staying in more tourist-heavy areas.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ON BOARD TIARÉ Tiaré offers a spectacular experience for divers as well as non-divers, with bright airy cabins, spacious bathrooms and a large front deck where you can socialize, eat under the stars or just relax in the Indonesian sunshine. There is also a separate diving deck with hot water showers to warm up after a night dive. All indoor and outdoor living areas, decks, and cabins are made with antique teak salvaged from old Joglos, which not only gives the feel of “real Indonesia”, but has helped to reduce the use of Indonesia’s disappearing rainforests.

LIVING AREA Designed to be a space where you

THE ART OF LUXURY

feel totally at home with an extra touch of luxury, comfortable couches and tables are the perfect place to socialize and catch up with your fellow divers. If you need to rest, have a nap, read a book or watch a film. A bar stocked with imported wines and a selection of other drinks is a welcome treat after a day of diving and a small cigar store is available for cigar connoisseurs. As well as comfortable couches, the airconditioned indoor lounge also has tables where dinner can be served as an alternative to the main deck depending on weather conditions and your preference. There are also PCs where you can edit photos or videos and also an indoor camera room, which has plenty of room to store your lenses, charges, lights and even your spare cameras. Bow lounge In addition to the indoor living area, the outdoor bow lounge is a space to enjoy and experience the freedom of being at sea. Watch the crew at work, birds flying overhead or count the millions of stars in the clear night sky from comfortable loungers and couches.

CABINS More like a 5-star hotel than a boat, the six cabins on Tiaré are your home away from home designed with relaxation and the perfect sleep in mind. You’ll enjoy soft linens and well thought out lighting and plug placement as well as spacious ensuite bathrooms, hot water showers and environmental friendly body wash and shampoo. Two triple cabins are spacious enough to accommodate two adults and one child or three adults, with under-bed storage to ensure ease of movement around the cabin. The other four cabins, two twin and two double, accommodate two adults each for a maximum capacity of 14 guests. With 14 guests on board Tiaré is comfortable and spacious enough for both a social atmosphere and space to relax and enjoy down time in the luxurious cabins.

in specific skills such as mixology, wine serving, floristry and sushi presentation, alongside scenariobased service training and how to prepare and style the cabin to meet Flexjet’s exacting standards. “Our fantastic Cabin Servers embody our unique Red Label ethos and are the frontline of our aircraft Owners’ experience of Flexjet,” said Megan Wolf, Chief Experience Officer at Flexjet. “We are proud and delighted to open this world-class training facility and programme, which sets us apart in the industry in terms of refinement and attention-to-detail. The new standards in cabin experience have now been elevated to match that of a top European five-star hotel.” Part of the programme will be delivered by The Dorchester Collection Academy, whose excellence in hospitality training

is renowned throughout the world. This additional instruction is designed to immerse the Cabin Servers in a world of luxury hospitality firsthand, and to experience for themselves how it feels to receive exceptional service with each Cabin Server enjoying an afternoon tea and a night’s stay at The Dorchester in London. The focus on the emotional impact of great service is also continued back at the Red Label Academy, with modules on how to make passengers feel special and cared for via highly personalised attention-to-detail; assessing their needs on any given occasion using body language and behaviour; and through observing cultural differences. Cabin Servers are also trained in specific skills to serve children and pets onboard flights.

The same training programme will be provided to all Flexjet Cabin Servers, regardless of location, ensuring a consistently memorable service experience for Owners when flying anywhere in the world. Mike Silvestro, co-CEO of Flexjet said: “Our company continues to grow considerably, with over 270 fixed wing aircraft now in our global fleet and many more to be added next year and beyond. Design-Led Chalet by Val d’Isère Local Yoann Marchand Features Seven Bedrooms, Indoor Pool, Hammam, Cinema, State-Of-TheArt Gym and Outdoor Jacuzzi, Minutes from the Slopes.

INTRODUCING PURPLE SKI’S CHALET MACHAPUCHARE, VAL D’ISÈRE Purple Ski, the premier luxury chalet operator offering exceptional properties across the French Alps, is delighted to introduce one of the most exquisite chalets in its portfolio – Val d’Isère’s Chalet Machapuchare. The brainchild of Val d’Isère local, ski instructor and design enthusiast Yoann Marchand, Chalet Machapuchare enjoys a privileged position nestled in the exclusive and wonderfully private area of Le Crêt. Commanding uninterrupted views of the entire valley, from the rocky cliffs above La Daille across the two main ski areas and the pretty village of Val d’Isère to the glaciers and snowcapped peaks

beyond, it offers the very best of serene alpine living, just a threeminute chauffeur ride away from the buzzing local nightlife, pistes, restaurants and shops. Sleeping up to 15 in seven luxurious bedrooms, the sprawling property features a large, open-plan living and dining area, panelled boot room and numerous balconies and terraces on which to soak in the splendid panoramic views. When it comes to relaxation and entertainment, guests are spoilt for choice with an indoor pool (incorporating a counter-current for physical training), massage room, hammam, state-of-the-art gym, cinema and outdoor jacuzzi.

A FAMILY VISION Chalet Machapuchare was constructed in 2018 and has been part of the Purple Ski portfolio since 2020. Born and raised in Val d’Isère, owner Yoann Marchand knows the slopes like the back of his hand and lived in the direct area before building the chalet, allowing him to fully appreciate the surroundings and make the best possible design decisions for the project. Meanwhile, Yoann’s wife, Charlotte Guilhamat, a trampolinist and personal trainer with a masterful creative eye, organised the whole interior design of the property with Yoann.

LUXURY TRAVEL

75

“From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to work one-on-one with the architect to maximise the abundant light and stunning views seen from the site”, said Yoann. “From knowing where the sunrise and sunset hits the property to maximising the natural light and creating windows and balconies that feel like fine art photo frames, I knew we needed to do this very special spot justice so guests can experience the best of Val d’Isére no matter the weather conditions. This has been a dedicated passionate project for myself and Charlotte, and we hope that our guests will become one with these stunning mountains when staying at Chalet Machapuchare.” Chalet Machapuchare was born of a decades-long family history, with Yoann’s father and grandfather creating the original road to the property in the early nineties. The chalet itself was constructed from local larch pines, while Yoann and his father dug down two levels to create a 007-style parking lot that commands attention upon arrival. With meaningful details behind every corner of the luxurious property, the private garage has retained views of the natural rock of the earthwork along one wall, with all the stones excavated during the building process re-used in the chalet.

The name Machapuchare was inspired by the majestic Machapuchare mountain, which Yoann saw during an adventure in Nepal while trekking around Annapurna’s range. Protected by the Nepalese government, Machapuchare has never been climbed and holds a special place in local Nepalese beliefs and in many mountain lovers’ hearts as Shiva’s house, a sacred natural space. Each room in the chalet is named after one of the summits or villages from the Annapurna trek in Nepal, detailing the altitude of each one.

THE DESIGN The scheme for the modern exquisitely designed chalet takes its inspiration from the natural alpine landscapes and the mountain while respecting and acknowledging the history of the area. Locally sourced natural materials such as wood, stone, leather, the luxurious super soft bespoke French wool by Arpin and iron are combined with minimalist and deep, natural colours to create a grounding yet luxurious interior. Yoann’s deep family roots within the area are evident throughout the chalet, which has the feel of a ‘living museum’, featuring family antiques ranging from historic skiing pieces to old tools emphasising being sufficient and surviving in the mountains. Such artifacts include a wooden horse carriage wheel with an axel centrepiece that has been made into a dramatic seat in the boot room, crafted by hand by Yoann and his best friend, who is a local carpenter. Indeed, Yoann has made most of the furniture from family artifacts and antiques, breathing new life into historic pieces and creating a marriage between the history of Val d’Isère and his family

to create something extraordinary that no other chalet can offer. Other artifacts include leather racing ski shoes from a former Val d’Isère champion with the historic eagle symbol behind the bar, while the main light in the living room area is crafted from the wheels of a family chariot finished with black cable spirals and warm auburncoloured bulbs. There is a large coffee table underneath the light made from the base of an apple press from Yoann’s great uncle, adorned with orchids, photo books, cowhide-covered tissue boxes and historic ice skates. In the dining room, there are two lights made from Beaufort cheese-shaping boxes which Charlotte and Yoann have turned into stunning lights. Combining the very best of old and new throughout the chalet for a truly spectacular result, custom sofas, headboards, pillows and fabrics have been created especially by L’Atelier des Frères with Arpin materials. The bespoke sofas were made to compliment the angles of the chalet, framed by large windows offering incredible views and white walls, providing a real sense of space and light. Iron suspended steps within the beams of the chalet lead from the living room upstairs to the master bedrooms, wooden steps, suspended from the beams of the chalet by wrought-iron bars, lead from the living room up to the master bedrooms injecting modernity, while underfloor heating within the modern oak flooring creates the warming feeling of a home-from-home. Other highlights include the stateof-the-art interactive kitchen, offering every gadget imaginable to attract top chefs, the soundproofed cinema room featuring ostrich feather lights with custom L’Atelier

des Frères fabrics. The stunning swimming pool adjacent to the state-of-the-art gym is the perfect spot to make a splash and relax post-piste next to the living botanical wall with natural rock; an oasis of calm that has been designed as a peaceful riverside retreat. New for the 2023/24 season is a large wooden outdoor seating area with an antique stoned millstone firepit base next to the jacuzzi, perfect for a spot of après-ski relaxation. Featuring breathtaking views, there is also a new BBQ firepit area so guests can enjoy tasty treats, smoked meats and BBQ whilst enjoying the spectacular view of the entire valley.

THE PURPLE SKI DIFFERENCE As with all chalets in the Purple Ski collection, guests of Chalet Machapuchare have access to a full team of staff, daily housekeeping, an in-chalet ski and boot fitting service and a private

VIRTUOSO® LUXE REPORT REVEALS THE UNITED KINGDOM’S LUXURY TRAVELLERS ARE EMBOLDENED TO SPREAD THEIR WINGS IN 2024 desire to visit a place dreamed of during the pandemic, an under-theradar location recommended by an advisor or even the ambition of being “first” to a destination, luxury travellers are intrigued by the unexplored. The cultural richness of reemerging travel hotspots, such as Japan and Egypt, offer unique and exciting itineraries for those seeking a departure from the norm.

According to the 2024 Virtuoso® Luxe Report, British travellers are increasingly comfortable venturing further afield, demonstrating a committed sense of adventure and urgency for once-in-alifetime experiences in farflung locations.

Global luxury and experiential travel network Virtuoso surveyed its industry-leading travel agency members, and their teams of professional travel advisors, to predict what lies ahead in the coming year. While the global survey spans more than 50 countries, Virtuoso was able to zero in on traveller preferences within the U.K. Virtuoso is a respected trend forecaster, and the annual Luxe Report illuminates consumer preferences for high-end luxury and experiential travel.

ISSUE ISSUE 62 62 2024 2024

With the value of time – and the significance of how and with whom we spend it – now a focal point for many, Virtuoso travel advisors report their clients are more interested than ever in fulfilling their travel aspirations. Despite inflation and global unrest, they remain insatiably curious and willing to pay for new experiences. More than 60 percent of advisors surveyed expect travel demand and spend per trip to increase in 2024. The Luxe Report identified five key trends highlighting how upscale globetrotters are establishing their influence in the travel-sphere for 2024. 1. New Frontiers: Although many continue to find comfort in their past favourites, other experienced travellers are diverging from the usual European options and branching out to exotic locales and less-explored areas. Driven by the

2. The Party Continues: Postpandemic travel saw many delayed celebrations realized, and the festivities continue with celebration travel making the list of top trends and motivations for 2024. It’s no surprise travellers are sharing life’s most important moments with family – travel with immediate family tops the trends list. Whether commemorating a milestone or simply spending quality time together, travel remains an essential part of connecting with loved ones. 3. Honouring the Earth: Extreme weather has shaped a traveller who is hyper-aware of the fragility of the world and eager to honour its majesty. Virtuoso advisors say their clients are pushing geographical boundaries to witness nature in its pristine form for fear it will diminish or become inaccessible. Greece, Morocco and Hawaii are also top-of-mind for travellers who want to support the economy of destinations recently impacted by disaster while remaining respectful of their recovery. 4. Small Ships, Big Possibilities: With less crowded, more intimate settings in favour, small-vessel cruising is on the rise with new and experienced cruisers alike. Upscale voyagers in search of a more authentic experience are

favouring river cruises for the casual atmosphere, proximity to major cities and wide-ranging itineraries. Popular routes include the Danube River, the Mekong River and the Nile. Adventure cruising is also trending due to increased accessibility to Antarctica, 2024’s leading cruise itinerary and its second-most popular adventure destination. Private yacht charters are an emerging category for small groups of friends or families who prefer to customize their maritime activities. 5. At Ease: Lingering restrictions, frustrating shortages and turbulent air travel have led to increased demand for custom trips made easy. From exclusive-use experiences – private jets, yachts and villas – to booking half days at hotels to ensure they have accommodations that fit their needs, today’s traveller is maximizing comfort. The desire to leave nothing to chance serves as increased motivation for using a professional travel advisor to simplify bookings and enhance the overall experience. Perennially popular, Italy remains the global favourite destination, whether for families or honeymooners. But it’s not simply back to basics for luxury travellers. One of the last countries to open its borders to the outside world, Japan, with its refined culture and in-demand cuisine, heads the list of reemerging destinations. Travellers are also rediscovering South Asia, with Sri Lanka and India on the must-see list for many in 2024. Due to elevated interest in the upcoming Paris Olympics, as well as its status as a beloved destination among foodies and art connoisseurs, France ascended into the top five in three categories, including family travel. The unspoiled splendours of Iceland and Antarctica, as well as unforgettable wildlife safaris in Kenya and South Africa, entice adventure seekers.

Key findings from the UK version of the 2024 Virtuoso Luxe Report: Top Travel Trends 1. Family travel (immediate family) 2. Active/adventure trips 3. Michelin-starred restaurant to offer three-course Ayurvedic set menu from 8th January.

AYURVEDIC MENU TO LAUNCH AT BENARES Benares, the Michelin-starred Indian restaurant on Berkeley Square in Mayfair, will launch an Ayurvedic set menu in January. Available from 8th January to 5th February, the new threecourse set menu is centred around the Ayurvedic principles of balancing the different types of energy within the body, through spices, ingredients and textures in our food. Drawing inspiration from the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, Sameer Taneja, Executive Chef of Benares, has curated a menu to aid the transition into the colder months. The changing of the seasons is believed to alter the state of Doshas - Pitta (Fire and Water), Vata (Air and Space) and Kapha (Earth and Water) - within the body. Vata and Kapha aggravate in winter, so the warming flavours, spices and herbs associated with Pitta are used to balance the Doshas at this time of year.

HOSPITALITY

From Madonna making the Lady Islington Suite her home, to young royals partying until the early morning hours; from Pamela Anderson’s iconic birthday party to Annie Lennox’s fairy-tale wedding, Home House has played host to a tapestry of events that have left a mark on London’s culture and society. Famous faces like Paul McCartney and Boy George mingle with regular members, all of whom share a common love for ‘their club’. Home House was originally commissioned in 1773 by The Countess of Home as a sophisticated palace designed purely for enjoyment to entertain London’s high society of the 18th century. Famous at the time, Lady Home earned the nickname “Queen of Hell” for her “irascible behaviour and lavish parties”, which inspired today’s club ethos of once again becoming ‘A Shrine to Hedonism’. Renowned for its legendary parties and its ‘no rules’ policy, Home House provides members with

the freedom to be whomever they desire. 20,000 bottles of champagne consumed by members annually stand as a testament to the club’s lavish and epicurean atmosphere. it’s creating fake snow for a marriage proposal or filling a bathtub with champagne bottles, the Home House team goes to great lengths to fulfil the wishes of its discerning members and guests.

HOME HOUSE HISTORY – IF THESE WALLS COULD TALK Home House private members club has been host to many colourful characters and iconic moments over the years, in a setting that is steeped in 250 years of captivating history.

Designed in 1773 by leading architects James Wyatt and Robert Adam, one of the most celebrated architects of his day, the Grade-I listed building is acknowledged as Robert Adam’s finest surviving London town house. Home House became home to many famous personalities throughout the years and the club’s 23 opulent bedrooms and suites are named after the house’s intriguing former residents, such as the Duke of Newcastle and Anthony Blunt. The famous Earl Grey tea gained its popularity at Home House when Charles, 2nd Earl Grey occupied the property from 1812 – 1819 and Lady Grey used it to entertain the political establishment of the time.

FLY THROUGH YOUR ETERNAL MUSIC IN THE UNIVERSE SEASONS GREETINGS WITH YOUR PERSONAL PIECE OF MUSIC - SONG, SONATA OR SYMPHONY Musical portraits exclusively composed & performed live World-class composer & violin virtuoso Viktoria Elisabeth Kaunzner - Viktoria & Virtuosi

music patronage is advancing elegant feeling with the refined taste of high society: Music is an engagement with emotions in the space. Most enchanting sounds unfold their beauty as if jewels musically would speak to you with a mesmerizing shiny aura of “Emerald” https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=p0hbKLmwjiI Communicate your desired theme to me - I will transform it into sublime music

Do you want to be a patron of the arts? Be the initiator of a unique piece of music. Are you a lover of luxurious art? Become the initiator of a creative composition process, similar to times when royals such as the Doge of Venice or the Habsburgs commissioned composers. Thanks to their patronage, epochal music history was written: Works such as Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Mozart’s Kleine Nachtmusik, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio or ingenious songs by Clara Schumann were written. The music of the thenprivileged gradually became known to international audiences and is now well known music. Today, the renaissance of private

Imagine your Holiday Season accompanied by your own, new Christmas Carol or Christmas piece. Dream of your musical masterpiece whose premiere you inspire: Music between tradition and modern flair, something you would like to listen to every day, share with your circle of friends or on social media? Then you can make a dream come true for you. The renowned violin soloist and composer Viktoria Elisabeth Kaunzner will compose an original, innovative piece of music according to your wishes: She will explore your musical taste and design it accordingly. In joint dialogue, a freely chosen favorite theme can mature into a piece - a composition as a personal musical portrait: instrumental such as music improvised on commission for the Liebermann Villa: https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=fAZZd5CfwCc or as a song for the Winter Olympics: “Lucid Dreams” https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=E4NBn2azm2o Musical ideas are defined together in a sensitive exchange, i. e. wishes for the duration, instrumentation and style, in a duo violin/piano, with vocals, flute, cello, marimba, saxophone, harp, or as a chamber or orchestral work.

We all experience and know the feeling of listening to classical music performed live in a refined, gallant or sophisticated setting. Your own music can be tailored to your own taste, that touches hearts, especially during the holiday season. The offered music is always classical, poetically flowing, stylistically varied according to choice with a touch of fusion, jazz, exotic oriental, Asian, tango, K-pop, etc., a mélange of everything, or: pure. A fantasy, rhapsody, elegy, romance, ballad, sonata or a concerto for violin and orchestra; miniatures in a duo for violin and viola resound over Japanese haiku poems: “Winter Solstice”, fabulously playful: https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=VXqXkOl17tI Or even your privately commissioned opera - performed at the historic celebration of your life. Dancing, floating spheres of sound created especially for you. The finest and most subtle of all arts, music - abstract and fleeting like beguiling perfume fragrances, yet tangible through the score, preservable through recordings and each with its unmistakable note, just as each work by Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann or Vivaldi speaks for itself.

Marking magic moments of love and triumph: Discover the power of music as social capital for your family and friends. Investing in music can be a rewarding endeavor, combining the enjoyment of aesthetic appreciation with lasting beauty. Immerse yourself in a classical composition by unveiling a world of creativity and expression: The world of feelings through noblesse in music. This approx. 3-5 minute or even longer musical portrait can be a luxurious, sensual, vital-living gift for Christmas, or dedicated as a voucher for your birthday, at the ceremony of a loved one, as loving sensual appreciation, funeral music, wedding, or birth music of family additions on the pulse of personal time. A film you have made or a poem you have written can be made even more exciting with a musical soundtrack. “Delightful Journey” is boarding music for a South Korean airline and sets the mood for take-off when flying https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=Jye3Ey8DiGY Even an animal, your greyhound or Persian cat can inspire a piece, like the “Saiga Antelope” running through the steppe with Guinness endurance record: https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=gz_5VeftcH8 After intensive attention and testing on the instrument, the musical portraits can be performed: As a music manuscript and produced sound file, or live with Viktoria & Virtuosi: the highest of feelings, live music of the first rank at your event. The music manuscript is sent by post with an aesthetically calligraphed dedication or ceremoniously presented at a live event. Table music that is performed before your menu and decorates the most delicious delicacies with sound:

Culinary protein music à la “Lasagna of insects” https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=o6S5leWZkC0 or for fans of fragrant rice “Jasmine Rice” https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=x0j8LnYsxC8 Eternal music individually composed - Your luxurious moment of musical exclusivity An intimate musical moment can become a world hit initiated by you. If you wish, your musical portrait can be shared globally, many people can enjoy the music: you bring joy - and with a little idealism - peace. In addition to social media, it can be published by an international publishing house, including the story of its creation, with the name of the client as a dedication, if desired as a limited edition. Your action is worth more than just a nice idea, a secret is told: “Mysterium” https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=Buk48ex_Sjw You can book whether you would like to hear your personal musical portrait in further live concerts in different cities - by exquisite worldclass soloists - on extra order with a Stradivari violin. Or as the sweetest ever cherry on the top - have your perfect music made into a 100% vegan, sounding chocolate record, with Ceylon cinnamon, cardamom, Supremo coffee, or your favourite flavour. Your specially created music enjoyed by all, such as the “Silk Road”: https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=LYIVZwM5XZs Audiences worldwide can listen to your evergreen You are be-loved and re-loved with your symbolic musical portrait forever Stradivari artist-composer Viktoria Elisabeth Kaunzner was the youngest violin professor to spend seven years in Seoul, South Korea,

TARAMAR - THE EVOLUTION OF AN ANTI-AGING SERUM INTO A HEALING SKIN CONSTRUCTOR: A TALE OF PIONEERING SKINCARE ADVANCEMENTS In the ever-evolving world of skincare innovation, there are pivotal moments when a beauty product transcends its initial intended function and becomes something truly extraordinary.

This is the story of how a simple anti-aging serum that, propelled by ground-breaking scientific advancements and exhaustive skincare research, has transformed into a remarkable healing skin constructor. The visionary trailblazer behind this transformation, Professor Gudrun Marteinsdóttir, founder of TARAMAR, experienced a profound shift from her former role as a professor of fishery sciences at the University of Iceland to becoming an entrepreneur focusing on formulating toxic free marine-based skincare. Her motivation stemmed from the desire to restore her skin’s youthful vitality and radiance as she reached the age of 50, where her complexion had succumbed to a lacklustre, pallid, and dry appearance, accentuated by the emergence of fine lines and wrinkles around her eyes and mouth. What started as an innocent hobby rapidly evolved into intensively complicated research at the University of Iceland. As recounted by Dr. Marteinsdottir, “We embarked on a transformative journey that exceeded the bounds of our existing knowledge. In our quest to uncover the secrets of

nature’s solutions, we initiated collaboration with other departments at the University, involving esteemed professors in physiochemistry and bioengineering, in conjunction with our specialised expertise in chemistry, food, and marine sciences. This synergy gave rise to innovative formulations that deliver exceptional results.” Our hero product, “The Serum,” was meticulously designed to strengthen and correct the collagen structure within the skin. By harnessing the combined functionality of the Icelandic Kelp and an ingenious tripeptide infused in a natural delivery system, the Serum literally straightens and conditions collagen fibres. Consequently, these fibres, instead of remaining misaligned and irregular, align uniformly, resulting in a much stronger, smoother, and even skin. While our beauty product was a true success, what truly astonished us was the discovery that our clients were experimenting with the serum in unexpected ways. It became evident that our product possesses healing properties beyond what we initially anticipated. Through their experimentation, our clients have

found that the serum aids in healing acne, diminishing scars, accelerating skin recovery after operations, alleviating rosacea symptoms, and even minimised the appearance of bruises. This revelation stands as a testament to the efficacy of our skincare innovation and highlights the scientific breakthroughs we have achieved through extensive skincare research.
