SVP, Infrastructure and Architecture Prior to joing Berkley Technology Services, Tim lead the Enterprise Client Computing (ECC) organization for the past 10 years at Cigna. Tim was accountable for all endpoints and endpoint centric services from laptop/desktop to Virtual Workspace, Virtualization, Messaging, Mobility, Program Delivery as well as hardware and software asset management. Please join us in welcoming Tim as he leads the Infrastructure and Architecture organization at BTS running all shared services architecture, engineering, and support.
WEBEX REMINDERS Audio Optimization
Connect Anytime, Anywhere
For the best audio quality, it's recommended to connect with the Webex computer app or mobile app (not "call me" or "call in") because the apps support audio enhancements
Connect to Webex meetings from many types of devices: computer app, mobile app, room video conference system and regular phones ("call me" or "call in")
Optimize Your Meetings and Events for Your Voice This feature "enhances" your voice by separating your voice from the background and suppresses background voices and noises From Audio options, click the drop-down arrow under Webex smart audio, and select "Optimize for my voice."
The Webex Meetings app allows you to easily join and start meetings directly from your iPhone or Android - visit your app store to download today

Teams
More than just chat functionality, Teams offers the ability to share files, schedule a meeting, and integrates with other Microsoft products such as Office and OneNote. It's all right there in chat. Select "Schedule a Meeting" in a chat to book a meeting with people in the chat
Scheduling is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Alternatively, go to "Calendar" on the left side of the app.

Select "New Meeting" in the top right corner.

Select a range of time and a scheduling form will open.

Put "@Webex" in the Outlook "location" field to easily schedule a "Personal Meeting Room" meeting
Join Webex and Teams meetings from conference room video devices by tapping the "Join" button Note: the meeting host must invite the conference room in the Outlook invite
In Stack or Side-By-Side view, the active speaker or shared content appears as the main frame or "stage" - to move someone to the "stage", drag their video thumbnail to it
Webex Assistant for Meetings is an interactive, virtual meeting assistant that makes meetings searchable and actionable. Webex Assistant can follow-up on items, take note of important decisions, and highlight key moments during a meeting or event. To use Webex Assistant, the meeting host must first enable it by clicking the robot button in the lower left corner of the screen
To show closed captions during a meeting or webinar, click the CC icon in the lower left of the screen

Sharing enhancements now include showing your video over shared content and automatically detecting when you are sharing video

Webex can now be integrated within Microsoft Teams which allows users to schedule, start, and join upcoming Webex meetings
Note: this is a paid feature - submit a "Telecom General Request" in ServiceNow for a trial or purchase
To add Webex to your Teams channel, click the (+) sign, click "Cisco Webex Meetings", and save

Enable Slido in Webex and open by clicking Apps, and you'll now be able to create live polls or enable Q&A

To help alleviate Outlook performance issues, improve search functionality, and to keep mailboxes under the 100 GB Microsoft Online size limit, the global 2year archive policy will be enabled.
You've Got Mail!
After this 2-year period, emails will automatically move into your archive, which is just a copy of your mailbox under the list of folders for your main mailbox. No action is required.
Should your mailbox exceed 90 GB, you will automatically be moved into the 1-year archiving policy in order to prevent you from reaching the maximum. Quick Hits: Mailboxes have a limit of 100 GB Emails are automatically moved into your Online Archive after 2-years Your Outlook Online Archive can be found under your main mailbox
