I was a sponsor in World Fashion Festival Awards 2018 in Dubai and it was honor to be a part of it and HBN Cosmetics has been launched during the event as the first UAE Makeup brand owned and designed by an Emirati Woman Hind Bin Naiser. HBN Cosmetics is a limited addition concept, unique & First Emirati Makeup Brand which covers full range of makeup with exclusive new packaging design having Arabic touch and fulfills the requirements of Arabic makeup. HBN Cosmetics has ability to target women age 20-50 with varying lifestyle needs. HBN Cosmetics it is a home business project, since it is a home business project I will utilize different marketing strategies to introduce the products to the varying ages and lifestyles. As first step the marketing target will for local women in UAE as I would like to start with my own family first to get their support and encouragement in order to make this product from UAE local makeup brand to international UAE Local Makeup Brand and this is my dream. I n m y c a s e , I have always loved travelling and mo d el l i n g ha s a l l o w e d m e t o t r a v e l all over the world. I have been on photo shoots in such wonderful places such as Thailand, the Maldives, Dubai, Monte Carlo, H o n g Ko n g a n d m a ny o t h e r s . I l o o k forward to many more international assignments.A few big billboards or part of major campaign wouldn’t hurt. Must be a weird feeling seeing y o ur s el f p r i n t ed t h a t b ig o r o n T V. Apart from that, I’d love to work with designers I’ve always admired. I appreciate the recognition that comes from having modelled for a f a m o u s d e s i g n e r. I t r e a l l y h e l p s t o establish my profile as model. But w hen I a m a p p r o ac h e d t o m o d e l f o r talented new designers, I jump at the chance as it is an amazing exper i e n ce t o b e p a r t o f t h e ir d e v e l o p men t a s t hei r b r a nd a m b a s s a d o r.

H O W DO YOU S EE YOURS EL F P R O GR ES S ING IN TH IS F IELD ? A: As everyone knows, most models have fairly short careers and I don’t se e myself modelling till I am 1 0 0 . I wil l co nt inue t o mo del as l o ng as I e njoy i t, but my lon g term am b i t i o n i s t o c a r ve o ut a ca r eer w i t hi n t he fa shi on in dustry. Just because I often model amazing fairy tale dresses, people who don’t know me think that I am unapproachable and stuck up. That is so far from the true me. I am so easy going and chilled out, and I believe that has been key to my success as a model. Also, h a v i n g a de gr e e in photography an d work p a r t -t i me as a professional photographer has really helped me a s a m o de l as it h a s en abled me to un derst a n d w ha t th e p h o t ogr aphe r e xpects of me. In spite of what seemed to be a very auspicious sta rt in his career, he deci d ed t o t a ke the proverbial plunge, adventurous as he is, deep down in his untiring heart. H e made a bold decision t o ma ke a n adventure in the desert, a bourgeoning one at that. In 2009, he flew to Dubai with a sad yet excited heart. One that be a ts with the con ven tion o f exp ec t ations, yet fearful and hopeful. His first w o r k w a s a t L e Tr o u s s e a u C o u t u r e , n o t a s a d e s i g n e r, b u t a p u r c h a s e r. A highly technical job that involves numbers. Bu t his heart is i n fa s hi o n , so he became an iron cryst a l d es i g n er with the encouragement and help of his friends Angelo estera, Izhcka Z e ta, an d Michael Cin co who c o n t r i bute d g reatly n ot j ust as in s p i r a t i o n s , but as wellsprin gs of g ood , en c o ur a ging words abou t n ot g ivin g up o n t he dr e ams of the heart. His ascent to fashion design was quick and rewarding. He became a junior de sig n er in 2 0 1 4 at Lepon e Bl a ck a n d a true-blooded designer in 2015 at Glamou rosa Cou ture. By returning in Greece he worked for various fashion comp a n i es s uch a s H a r a g i o n n i s G r o u p ( G u c c i) and Lakis Gavalas – the biggest fashion importing company in Greece (LAK). In 2008 j o i n ed f o r ces w i t h f a s hi o n d e s igne r Va s s il is Zoulias & worked for the company as a cre ative consultant, stylist and as a jewellery & shoe ornament designer. H i s f a t h e r w a s the pioneer of designing and prod uc i n g ca mp i n g equi p m e nt in I r a n a t the time. Behnood’s mother was an a n t i que d ea l er w ho w a s a l s o inv o l v e d i n t he t hr i vi n g t ext i l e wo r l d . As a child Behnood grew up in a househo l d o f cr ea t i vi t y a n d c o l o u r - h e nc e hi s p a s s i o n f o r a r t a n d d e s ign d e v e loped very early on in his life. Drawing and painting became second nature t o hi m a n d he l o ved his l it t l e s k e t c h book where he used to take everyw her e w i t h hi m. H e s p en t hi s p r i ma r y sc h o o l ye a r s in Te h r a n a n d l e a r n t a b o u t t h e d i f f e r ent materials and fabrics from his d a d ’s t r a d e. Behn o o d f e l l in l o v e w it h t he w o r l d o f t ext i l es a nd f a b r ic s a nd started doing collage boards with different coloured materials to make garmen t s f o r hi s s ket ches . Behnood always had a special eye f o r f a s hi o n a n d w a s very c u r io u s a nd o b s er va n t o f t he o ut f i t s pe o pl e w o r e around him. He started to develop his passion for fashion as he grew i n t o a t een a g er a n d b el ie v e d s t r o ngl y that he can have a major influence i n t hi s i n d us t r y.
