Probus celebrates 45 years in Australia!

ens of thousands of active retirees can confirm the secret to maintaining a fulfilling lifestyle in retirement is to stay connected with like-minded people. From exciting adventures to casual outings, for more than four decades Probus Clubs have been offering retirees the opportunity to discover new interests with new friends.
The first Probus Club formed in Australia was in Hunters Hill, New South Wales in 1976. To mark this milestone anniversary, 59 members of the Hunters Hill & District Probus Club attended their 45th Birthday celebrations at the Hunters Hill Club. Past President, Greg Griffiths, MC’d the event and introduced the Clubs current President, Jim Likidis, to open proceedings.
Two distinguished guests, Bill Killinger AM, Director on the PSPL Board and Ross Williams, Mayor of Hunters Hill were also in attendance. MARCH 2021 ACTIVE RETIREES |
