DESTINATION: OUTDOORS! SEPTEMBER 27 Summer vacation may be over, but there is still some exploring to do in Story Mill Community Park. We will grab our field guides, hit the trails and get to know the sanctuary between two rivers. ON THE MOVE: BOARDS, BIKES AND BOULDERS OCTOBER 21 Put on your sneakers for this camp on wheels (and rocks). We will kick off the morning on bikes with plenty of time for climbing on our boulder in Story Mill Community Park. After lunch, we will be setting up ramps in the Story Mill Community Center gym for skateboards and scooters. Bring your skateboards, bikes, helmets and scooters if you have them. OCTOBERFEST OCTOBER 22 There is a chill in the air and winter will be arriving soon. Before it does, we are having an end of the season fall festival. We will have sack races, hula hoop contests, bean bag tosses, old fashion pieeating contests, healthy corndog snacks, face paint, leaf art,tree rubbings and more.
