Da decenni Heinen è attivamente impegnata nella protezione dell’ambiente. La pelle terracare®, infatti, è prodotta nel modo più rispettoso possibile dell’ambiente: con un consumo minimo di risorse, un’origine trasparente delle materie prime e un tasso di riciclaggio dei sottoprodotti ottimale.

• genera più del 30 % in meno di CO2 durante la sua produzione rispetto alla media del settore

OUR SUSTAINABLE CHOICES

For decades Heinen has been actively committed to protecting the environment. Indeed, terracare® leather is produced in the most ecological way possible: with a minimal consumption of resources, transparent origins of raw materials, and an optimization of byproduct recycling.

Terracare® leather:

• generates over 30 % less CO2 during its production compared to the sector average;

• uses 97% of the by-products generated during the production process (for example, to recycle them or reuse them as biogas, compost, small leather parts, or gelatin);

• uses over 40 % less water during production compared to industrial standards. Moreover, each and every litre of water is cleaned using a cutting-edge technology and is returned to the natural water cycle;

• uses exclusively REACH-certified (REACH = Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) materials in its production.

Using terracare® brand leathers demonstrates that it is possible to meet high social standards while producing an ecological and technically advanced product.

Il concetto della costruzione Hybrid nasce dalla necessità di coniugare in una scarpa da hiking la leggerezza, il comfort e materiali delle calzature da trail running aggiungendovi le caratteristiche mancanti quali supporto, grip e stabilità. Per fare questo abbiamo sviluppato una nuova costruzione della tomaia ed una nuova suola che offrano quello che manca alle calzature da trail running.

The concept of Hybrid construction stems from the need to incorporate the lightness, comfort and materials of trail running footwear into hiking shoes, adding the missing features, such as support, grip and stability. For this purpose, we have developed a new upper construction and a new outsole that confer the trail running footwear the features it was missing before.

È l’evoluzione costruttiva dei modelli di alpinismo Zamberlan conosciuti in tutto il mondo. Si distingue per gli innovativi materiali sintetici elasticizzati, che offrono alta resistenza all’abrasione e leggerezza. La protezione dal gelo è ottimale su tutta la scarpa, il plantare è arricchito da uno strato isolante in alluminio. Il sottopiede in carbonio offre completa stabilità dei ramponi. Il sistema BOA permette di aggiustare perfettamente l’allacciatura senza togliere i guanti, mentre il sistema di sicurezza RECCO® assicura il rintracciamento in caso di valanghe o incidente.

It is the constructive evolution of Zamberlan’s mountaineering models, well known all over the world. It stands out thanks to the innovative stretch synthetic materials, which guarantee top resistance against abrasion, and lightness. Frost protection is excellent throughout the shoe and the footbed has been upgraded using an insulating layer of aluminium. The carbon insole ensures the full stability of the crampons. The BOA system allows perfectly adjusting the lacing without removing the gloves, while the RECCO® safety system ensures tracking in case of avalanches or accidents.

The patented RECCO® technology is a two-part system, featuring an active detector, carried by the rescuer, and a passive reflector, carried by the user.

La calzata Zamberlan®

Il piede svolge un ruolo molto importante sia nel sostenere il peso dell’intero corpo sia nella locomozione. Esso governa un po’ tutti movimenti che gambe, bacino, tronco, braccia e spalle faranno nel corso della camminata. Il contatto del suolo con il tacco (appoggio calcaneare A) deve essere ben accentuato in modo da permettere al piede di compiere il passaggio verso l’appoggio di piena pianta (appoggio completo B) e le successive fasi di pre-spinta (C) e di spinta (D).

Lo studio delle forme Zamberlan® e la costruzione delle calzature Zamberlan® tengono in considerazione ed in pieno rispetto tutti gli aspetti anatomici del piede: un investimento per nostri piedi. Pertanto Zamberlan® ha progettato e sviluppato diverse forme, basate sulle differenti caratteristiche anatomiche del piede e tenendo conto dell’utilizzo finale specifico del prodotto. LE FASI DI RULLATA GAIT CYCLE

The foot plays an important role in supporting the weight of the entire body and in locomotion. The bones of the foot are arched longitudinally to help facilitate the support function. The transverse arch helps with movements of the foot. These movements help keep the sole (plantar surface) in contact with the ground despite the unevenness of the ground surface. They also work in concert with the ankle joint to help propel the foot off the ground during the toe off portion of gait.

The engineering of the lasts and the Zamberlan® footwear construction take into account all the anatomical aspects of the foot: an investment for your feet. This is why Zamberlan® engineered and created different lasts, based on the anatomical features of the foot and on different final uses. They are all comfortable, not too long and have a good volume.

NORWEGIAN Welted Technology

Il metodo norvegese è una speciale tecnica di costruzione che richiede una grande esperienza e conoscenza per la sua esecuzione. Questa particolare tecnica è caratterizzata da una doppia cucitura: la prima fissa la tomaia al sottopiede (che è specificamente progettato per questo utilizzo), mentre la seconda fissa la tomaia all’intersuola, alla quale, successivamente, sarà incollata la suola. I prodotti realizzati secondo questa costruzione sono strutturati e flessibili, risultando, quindi, anche robusti e confortevoli. Gli scarponi di questa categoria sono estremamente durevoli e possono anche essere risuolati.

The Norwegian method is a special demonstration of shoemaking virtue because it requires skilled people knowledge and experience. This special technique features two lines of stitching: the first fixes the upper to the insole (which is specifically designed for this use), the second fixes the upper to the midsole which will later be glued to the sole. The products of this range are both strong and flexible, making them sturdy and comfortable. Boots with a Norwegian welt construction are highly durable and can also be re-soled.

GOODYEAR Welted Technology

Questo particolare metodo di costruzione denominato “Goodyear” implica che le scarpe richiedano più tempo ed attenzione nella costruzione, avvalendosi dell’esperienza e manualità preziosa di artigiani specializzati. La parte superiore della scarpa, viene cucita insieme ad una striscia di cuoio (nota anche come “guardolo”) al sottopiede, fissando insieme anche la tomaia e la fodera. Successivamente viene incollata l’intersuola e fissata attraverso una seconda cucitura tipica di questo genere di lavorazione. Nell’intercapedine tra sottopiede e suola è collocata un’anima riempitiva con una colla adesiva ad alta resistenza per perfezionare la costruzione. La lavorazione Goodyear è molto apprezzata per la morbidezza, flessibilità e comfort immediato che sono propri di questo prodotto.

The Goodyear welt process is a type of shoe construction used by only a handful of highly skilled craftsmen, this is due to the time and dedication it takes to master this technique. The upper part of the shoe is fastened to the insole by sewing a leather strip (also known as the “welt”), this connects the upper and the lining too. The midsole is then glued and sewed with a second stitch. Between the insole and outsole a layer of filling is added with a high strength adhesive glue for extra padding and comfort. The main benefits of the Goodyear welt are its softness and flexibility making the shoes it super comfortable from the day you buy them.
