Youth Sports YOUTH FALL BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL LEAGUES
OSSA SPORTS ACADEMY: BASEBALL CAMP
The Wentzville Parks and Recreation Department is part of the New Horizons Youth Baseball League (NHYBL). This league consists of Lake St. Louis, New Melle, Dardenne Prairie, Wright City and Flint Hill. Games are played Monday-Friday starting in mid-AUG. Practices will occur at the discretion of the coach. Teams will receive one free practice per week. All standings, games and team information for this league is on www.quickscores.com/ nhybl. 7U & 8U will play machine pitch. 9U and up will play player pitch. Jerseys and hats are provided for participants registering as individuals. For team registration, the coach must have at least 10 players, pay the team fee at the time of registration and provide a roster. Team registration does not include uniforms.
OSSA Sports Academy’s camps offer the perfect combination of expert training and FUN! These four-day, four-hour camps consist of training in hitting, pitching, fielding, bunting, sliding, cut offs, run downs and running. Daily scrimmages enable each camper to put what they have learned into practice immediately, helping reinforce daily lessons and fostering confidence. OSSA Sports Academy provides specialty stations for catchers, middle infielders, outfielders, and first and third basemen. (Min 7/Max 50)

This recreational coed league for 3-to-6-year-olds is designed to prepare young players for the next level of baseball or softball. Score is not kept; each participant receives a jersey, hat and an award at the end of the sixgame season. Parents are required to help during the season. GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE

Ages: 10-15
This six-week league will be governed by USA volleyball rules and house rules. Uniforms are included for participants registering as individuals. Team registration does not include uniforms. At the end of the six-week season, the top four teams in each age division will play in a singleelimination tournament to determine the league champion. Awards will be given to the first-place team. Games start as early as 8A. The summer league does not include practices. (Min 40/Max 200)

This four-day, 90-minute camp covers the basic fundamentals of hitting, throwing, fielding and base running, plus a daily scrimmage. Teaching is done in a light, fun atmosphere. Returning campers always learn something new and newcomers become fast fans of OSSA Sports Academy’s camps! This program will run from 8:30-10A. (Min 7/Max 50) DAY
