1. Resolution Type: AVI Alternative

Virtual Instruction used for Level 2 offenses. 2. Resolution Assign Date is the date 2 that the resolution is done. 3. Resolution Start Date is the first day of suspension or when the student physically leaves your building. Resolution Start Time is the beginning of your school day or time that the student physically leaves your building. Resolution

End Date is the last day of the suspension. Resolution End Time is the end of your school day. 4. Duration in School Days is manually entered and represents the number of suspension days. 5. Return to School is checked and

Return Date is the day after the final day of AVI. 6. Services During Suspension is

NOT checked if the student who is in special education participates with at least one regular education student in the same instructional setting. 7. Only Apply To students who are issued an AVI.

Note: The AVI dates cannot exceed 3 days (72 hours).

A copy of the AVI letter must be uploaded into The PLP documents and a PLP-Alternative Instruction must be entered stating how the letter was issued to the parents/guardians.
