AHS PRINCIPAL UPDATE AHS PRINCIPAL UPDATE MR. JOHN KING

The 2021-2022 school year will come to a close in just a few short days.

It seems like just yesterday we were having freshman orientation and beginning the fall semester. Now, we are at the end of another school year and looking forward to a welcomed summer break. I know that everyone on our campus was elated that this year was much more of a “normal” year than the past two.

For my last posting for this school year, I want to take a moment and personally thank several groups of people for helping make the 20212022 school year a great one.

First of all, I want to thank the teachers and staff of Argyle High School. Every year, you go above and beyond to provide our students with the best learning experience possible, and this year was no different. I cannot begin to express my full gratitude for your diligent work and continuous support of our students. I know I speak for the entire community of Argyle when I say thank you for being so amazing.

Next, I would like to thank the Senior Class of 2022. This year continued to have its challenges, but you accepted every obstacle brought your way and continued to excel in the classroom, on the playing fields/courts, and in all of your fine arts endeavors. You not only continued the tradition of excellence that we have come to expect in Argyle, but you did it with character and class. I am so proud of each of you, and I know that you will take the experiences you have had this year and use them to conquer your future hopes and dreams.

Finally, I would like to thank the parents of our high school students. Your constant support of our teachers and school administration has helped us reach the finish line of the 2021-2022 school year. We appreciate you letting us work with your child this year, and we look forward to the opportunity of working with next year’s returning students and incoming freshmen.

I certainly hope that everyone has a very restful and relaxing summer break – you have definitely earned it. See you in August. Until then… John King
