Remedy and Flight are closing out the school year with some of our most exciting opportunities. We have just finished our annual Spring Show which featured all 32 of our students and their incredible work from this year. We had a great turnout at the show and we thank everyone who attended and supported our A Cappella groups this school year.
We are also excited to announce that Remedy and Flight just finished recording in the studio! Remedy will be releasing their fourth studio album sometime this Fall/Winter and it will include six of our songs from this year, our biggest album yet! Flight will also be releasing their second studio single titled “Workin On It” which will feature Kim Karera, Selah Moon, and Larissa Puckett on the solos.
All music from Flight and Remedy continues to stream on all platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Every time you listen to our music you help us raise money for our program, so make sure you check out recordings from past years and save them to your playlists.
Remedy just returned from Orlando, Fla., and the National A Cappella Conference where they were featured as one of the top 10 high school groups in the nation. Their performance brought down the house and a live-produced video of the performance will be released on YouTube sometime this Fall! We are so proud of Remedy and the way they represented themselves on stage. We hope this is the first of many NACC performances to come!
Finally, we have received amazing news from both groups concerning our recently released music. For the 3rd time in their existence, Remedy has been selected for the national compilation album curated by Varsity Vocals titled “Best of High School A Cappella” which features the best of the best HS groups from across the country. Their track titled “Song Like You” features senior Hannah Kasprzak on the solo and you can stream the song and watch our music video for the song on all platforms. Even more exciting is that for the first time, Flight, will also be featured on this national BOHSA album! Their track “Wonder” which features senior Nathan Sotomayor and sophomore Mia Navarro, can be streamed on all platforms and our music video can also be viewed on YouTube and Instagram.
What a year it has been for Remedy and Flight! We have much more content coming out over the summer and in the near future. Thank you for supporting Music Education and the creative aspirations of our students!
