In April, the AHS Concert Choir performed at the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Assessment. We are excited to announce that for the 5th year in a row, the Varsity Mixed Choir received Sweepstakes, which is the highest honor an ensemble can receive. We are so proud of all of the work our students put in to prepare for this event. It was our first in-person UIL event since the 2019 school year and 75% of our students had never experienced this process before. It was a great experience for everyone involved and we are so grateful for the lessons we have learned along the way.

We are excited about the number of events coming up at the end of this school year as we close another chapter in the AHS Choir story.

Our A Cappella groups close out the year with their Spring Show on Saturday, May 7, and look forward to celebrating all of their successes this year. We are also excited for our Spring Concert on May 10 which is titled “A Night at the Movies” and will feature some of the most iconic songs from movies over the past 50 years. Concert Choir will also be performing at Baccalaureate and at Graduation to close out the year.

This summer issue also means another group of incredible senior choir students will be graduating and leaving us very soon! We wanted to take a moment to thank these seniors for their contributions to our program over the past four years. You will always be a part of our Choir Family, no matter where you go.

We also want to thank our 2021-2022 corporate sponsors, 407 BBQ, PointBank, and Print Signs Promo.

Thank you for your support of Music Education and the Argyle High School Choir Program. Love Your Neighbor!

Please congratulate the following seniors on their incredible accomplishments!
