This rockin' NEW CLASS will have your child acting, singing and dancing to hits of the 70's, 80's, 90's and Today! Each week the theme of your child's class revolves around a different Rock 'n' Roll Band or performer including improvisation, acting games, singing, and dance moves directly related to the hit songs from that band. There will also be exploration of musical skills like rhythm, dynamics and more! Throughout the class everyone will become a Rock Star as the class becomes a band of their own as they work together on a couple performance songs for an end of the class performance! This is a great class for those too young to start vocal lessons or those that want to try a new twist on our hit Broadway Kids class! Come out & get stepping with us! Irish dance provides fabulous fitness along with great social & performance opportunities in a fun & productive atmosphere! Our classes focus on fundamentals of Irish dance while instilling self-confidence and teamwork - one may chose to dance recreationally or competitively. We are the only International Irish dance school in the Chicago area - with classes in Hinsdale, Westmont, Chicago, Minneapolis & multiple locations in Ireland. We love what we do and are lucky to pass on this beautiful art form to our dancers! LYARTS YOUTH Winter Break Arts Camp
School's still out. And it's still cold out. Keep warm with something other than screen time. Make something. Each day of camp will focus on a different type of artistic medium led by an expert instructor in the field. Explore the art of Painting, Sculpture, Jewelry Making and Dance. Theme days subject to change. Students are encouraged to bring old, oversized shirts to wear as smocks. Students should bring a nut-free snack with them as there will be a break during the class.
