Podcast Album: Learning To Walk Before You Can Run

Track 13– Learning To Run Stage 10 Brought To You By: MyWeightLossDream.co.uk

Welcome to the thirteenth track in our learning to walk before you can run series of podcasts and thanks for downloading me. Well I don’t mean me, I mean the podcast but I am sure you know what I mean! I hope you don’t mind but we are going to jump straight in with this podcast and to get you moving. Chapter 1 – Introduction To Stage 10 You are now entering the halfway point and I am sure you are going to super proud of yourself when you have completed this stage. Stage 10 Begin with a 500m brisk walk, then alternate 10 minutes of running with 5 minutes of brisk walking for 4000m. Then finish your regime with 500m of brisk walking. Chapter 2 – Stage 10 Running Diary 10 minutes of running sounds like a lot doesn’t it? Well when you think that you were doing 8 minutes another 2 minutes with some extra walking thrown in will be rather easy. Before you finish my Podcast series you will be able to do four times this amount, so enjoy yourself as you progress through the stages naturally. Twelfth run = 13th August 2015 = 5250m = 45 minutes

Another week and I am back with another run. This time I wanted to push myself further as I attempt stage 10. After completing the 500m brisk walk I jog for longer than planned just because I am enjoying it so much and feel like I can go that little bit further. I do a 13 and a ½ minute jog which for the first time ever gets me all round the track. Then I power walk for 5 minutes and then jog again for 12 minutes and then do a further power walk until I have completed a total of 5250m. It is often about what you are comfortable with, so if you want to go off this plan then do so and you may even be fitter than me! To say I did over 3km of just jogging has made me very proud of myself and to say it was more jogging than walking is brilliant. If I had wanted to I believe I could have made it twice around with a break in between, so it shows that my end goal of three times round without breaks is not that far away! Thanks for listening to track 13 and thanks very much for your support.
