Track 20 - Learning To Run Stage 17 Brought To You By: MyWeightLossDream.co.uk

Welcome to the twentieth track in our learning to walk before you can run series of podcasts and thanks for downloading me. Well I don’t mean me, I mean the podcast but I am sure you know what I mean! I hope you don’t mind but we are going to jump straight in with this podcast and to get you moving. Chapter 1 – Introduction To Stage 17 I am back and I am here is stage 17. I never thought I would ever make it this far and I am so proud of this achievement. Many people can’t run further than the end of the street, yet here I am about to show you how to run 5 kilometres. Things have clearly come a long, long way! Stage 17 Run for 30 minutes without stopping, and then walk until you have completed a total distance of 5km. Chapter 2 – Stage 16 Running Diary Twentieth run = 30th October 2015 = 5000m = 35 minutes I bet you’re surprised to see the date above? The fact that I completed the next stage the day after the last. Well let me tell you that it wasn’t the plan. I was out in the countryside this morning and was planning to do a 3200m jog as that

is the best I have achieved in the countryside since I started and I haven’t done beyond 3000m for ages. But then I made it to 3200m and decided I would do 4000m and then when I looked at the time, I thought about it and decided that because I was not that out of breath, that I would do my 30 minute target. So I did 4743m in 30 minutes and then finished off with some quick walking. I can’t believe I just did that and feel like I am absolutely buzzing. The next target of course will be to do 5km and as you can see I am really not that far off! Thanks for listening to track 20 and thanks very much for your support.
