Maisie Raftery, publisher of Natural Awakenings HEALTHY LIVING HEALTHY PLANET Boston and Maureen Cary, former publisher of Natural Awakenings Rhode Island are pleased to introduce the first edition of the new Greater Boston/Rhode Island Natural Awakenings. The two markets will meld together with the same great content while reaching a broader audience. Raftery was a reader of the Rhode Island edition for several years prior to starting the Boston edition 10 years ago. With a natural camaraderie, the two often worked together on various local projects and more than once considered what it would look like to have one magazine. “I’m thrilled to be working with Maureen in a different capacity than we’re used to,” shares Raftery. “We’ve been given a wonderful opportunity to strengthen and expand the reach of our advertising partners and help more people find solutions to all kinds of health- and wellness-related issues.
