Biography: Myself Riya Sonara from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. I have pursued B.E- Computer Engineering. By profession I am a Student. I am fond of writing stories , microfiction , short paragraphs , poems , prose and articles. I also have hobbies like dancing.
I came to the earth from heavenly abode
From there began my life full of scars
As a small graceful star, a child of God
I never got love but only the curse.
I filled the room with screams and cries
Two brothers and their only sister I was
But my mom said it wasn’t good.
I didn’t think my birth was a great loss.
Then I heard a shout and I trembled
Isn’t it a pleasure, a boon to be a girl
I saw my father a lot troubled.
Who’is loving, caring and shining pearl.
He glanced at me as if was criminal
But why people think them to be a burden?
He damned his fate, called me an animal
And if girls are born, why just abandon?
