No car? No problem! Newark is one of the most public transit friendly cities in the country. LIGHT RAIL (Newark subway) The light rail can shuttle you around downtown and even into other parts of Newark, like Branch Brook Park. PATH TRAINS The PATH goes to Jersey City, Hoboken and even NYC. The Newark PATH line goes directly into World Trade Center or you can change in Jersey City for other stops. NJ TRANSIT NJ Transit trains & buses criss cross the city and county. CROSS STATE LINES If you’re trying to get to Boston, Philly or DC - Newark is a stop for Amtrak or get cheap seats (as low as a few bucks) on Bolt Bus, which leaves from Newark Penn. BIKING There are new bike lanes around the city which allow for easy exploration of the city with bikes racks found throughout.
