My Dear Ones, Entangling yourself with an enlightened being is the most powerful way to raise yourself to the higher level and get enlightened. I can give you a simple technique to have entanglement with me. Just morning sit in the satsang, that’s all! Everyday morning satsang itself is entanglement’ with me. In entanglement, physical healing happens. In ‘entrainment’, meaning muscle memory, that is if you do what I am saying, then the mental transformation happens. In the ‘enlightenment’ level, just melting, the conscious explosion happens. Then the very mystical doors of life opens and the enlightenment, or conscious explosion happens.

There is a beautiful Shloka (verse) in the Bhagavad Gita where Lord Krishna says, “Whatever form and attitude you offer worship with, I will appear and respond to you in the same form and mood”. In the Shiva Sutras, Lord Shiva says, “Look lovingly at some object, do not go to another object. Here in the middle of the object, let the blessing happen to you.”
Here is a technique to practice what is described above:
Have a picture of a favourite Deity or Guru, and look with a deep love without moving to any other object.
Let
everything
disappear, just become the eyes; be completely centered on your eyes. If you have jumped to any other object, come back and just sit in a relaxed way with deep love and you will see that a very deep silence, bliss and blessing starts coming out of your system.

Break the Bonds of Addiction! Kriya given by Nithyananda in his Daily Morning Discourse, on 11th November, 2011 at the Bidadi Ashram, India
Addiction has been defined as physical or psychological dependence on psychoactive substances (for example alcohol, tobacco, heroin, caffeine and other drugs) which cross the blood-brain barrier once ingested, temporarily altering the chemical milieu of the brain. Broadly, addiction is defined as the continued use of a mood altering addictive substance or behaviours despite adverse consequences associated with it.
Some psychology professionals
mean
‘addiction’ to include abnormal psychological dependency on such things as gambling, videogames, food, sex, pornography, computers, internet, work, exercise, watching TV self-injury and shopping. It is thought that these behaviour activities may produce beta-endorphins in the brain, which makes the person feel “high.” Some experts suggest that if a person continues to engage in the activity to achieve this feeling of well-being and euphoria, he/she may get into an addictive cycle. In so doing, he/she becomes physically addicted to his/her own brain chemicals, leading to a continuation of the behaviour, even though it may have negative health or social consequences.
DISCLAIMER: This technique is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment. Individuals with any type of medical condition, the elderly, children below 14, women who are pregnant or suspect they may be pregnant are advised to seek professional medical advice before practicing this technique. Viewers who are not on twoway video conferencing are cautioned that they are practicing these techniques at their own risk.

“Yogi yunjeeta satatam aatmaanam rahasi sthitaha Ekaki yata cittaatmaa niraasheera-parigrahaha” - Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 6 : Dhyana Yoga, Verse 10
The jeevan mukta having subdued his thoughts and identity, being free from desires with an attitude of renunciation seated within oneself in aloneness should continuously connect with the higher consciousness by unclutching.
In the same way that a baby grows in the womb of its mother when she is sleeping, the soul of an initiated disciple grows when he is seated alone, within the self. Upanishad means nothing but sitting with the Master. No prayer, meditation or mantra is needed, all one has to do is sit. Although the fear of falling into depression may arise, there is no need to worry - after all, how long can worries haunt the individual when they are directly confronted?
The mind is a powerful thing, it will bring up unnecessary excuses like work and not having time to sit with oneself. However, it helps to look closer and see that every person has as much time as they make for themselves. To find time is to sacrifice an hour of watching television or surfing the net, neither of which adds any value to one’s time.
When excuses have lost power over the individual, fears will take over. Fear of failure and fear of depression will attack one’s resolve and attempt to break it, but the key is to face these fears. The person will be scared that they will sleep, or that they will never be able to complete the samyama. If not, they will be afraid of falling into a depression. The key to overcoming the constant stream of worry in the mind is to confront those worries. When human beings accept that they are truly alone, orphans in this world, they can face their worries. A strong resolve to just sit will fight away all deviances of the mind.

DAY 1 Be seated alone and allow all worried thoughts to express themselves. Remain seated for two hours with these worried thoughts. This technique will remove the fear and possibility of depression.
DAY 2 Eat until the body is full of food. After that, remain seated and allow yourself to sleep. Continue this for two days. After these two days, your body will get tired of sleeping and you will be able to stay awake throughout.
DAY 3 Visualize yourself as a stone statue and remain seated still.
DAY 4 Visualize all the knee joints to be locked and sit. Within eleven days you will discover the power of Upanishad.
While practicing the entire technique, the best place to experience Upanishad is the Arunachala Mountain, the river Ganga or Kailash. It can be by visiting these places or simply gazing at pictures of these places. All three hold a prominent place in the Vedic culture and are few of the most powerful spiritual energy centres. With the help of these, one will discover the beauty and sweetness of Upanishad.

From Darkness to Light The significance of celebrating the festivals of light: Deepavali and Karthikai deepam, as per the vedic tradition.
Karthikai Deepam is a festival of lights - the conscious light awareness celebrated on
27th November, 2012
the full moon day of Karthikai Tamil month (November/ December). This year it falls on 28th November. Rows of deepas (lamps) are lit in every house and people celebrate the consciousness and its awareness. In this day a huge fire lamp called Mahadeepam is lit up on the Thiruvannamali Arunachala hill, which is visible for several kilometers around the hill. The day of this festival is Devi’s enlightenment day as well as the day when Shiva appeared as light beam - the consciousness to Brahma and Vishnu. Shiva appears as a huge light shaft - stambha before Brahma and Vishnu and says whoever finds any one end of this stambha will be the greatest. The whole search starts and Vishnu surrenders understanding that Consciousness is the greatest and the ultimate possibility. But Brahma not able to give up on the account of his ego lies to Shiva that he found one end of the stambha. Shiva identifies his falsehood and pronounces that there would never be a temple for Lord Brahma in this world. This signifies that neither knowledge nor wealth can liberate a being. In the vedic calendar, the oldest constellation ever predicted is the day of Karthikai Deepam. Hence, in a way, the ‘time’ started on this day. This day is the day Shiva stood as the light beam - consciousness - and created time, matter and everything.

for partaking in a sumptuous feast. The lighting of lamps is a way of paying obeisance to God for attainment of health, wealth, knowledge, peace and valor. The mystical explanation of the word ‘Deepa’ means the ability to see beyond; it is not just light. When a deepa is lit in one’s heart, the ability to see beyond starts happening. All the suffering is because one stops with just seeing what they see. People don’t see beyond what is seen. If one can see beyond what is seen, that is when one is enlightened since the jnana deepa awakens in a person. The real Deepavali is the ability to see beyond what one can see. If one is seeing the reality they will have breathing space. If one is seeing the reality in its reality, which is the seeing behind what is seen, one will not only have breathing space, they will also have the space of dancing. Seeing something in one’s own mind means suffocation. Seeing the actuality means one will have a breathing space, not suffocation. But if a person is able to see beyond what one calls as actuality or reality, they will have dancing space not just breathing space and extraordinary ecstasy and that is when actual celebration of Deepavali happens.

Bhakti, the Song of God Bhakti, the Ultimate Gift Let me define exactly what I mean by the
word “bhakti”. Understanding that whatever you call as reality is experienced in parietal lobe as illusion and ability to feel something beyond this illusion and the ability to merge, relaxing into something beyond this illusion is bhakti. Where you see whatever is seen and experienced including your body as illusion and ability to see beyond this illusion, resting into something which is beyond this illusion is bhakti. If you have it, understand, the greatest thing God can contribute to the cosmos, He has given to you; you have the ultimate gift in your life. The best thing air can present to the

for the large civilizations. Sacred sentiments make life livable in planet Earth both internally and externally. One such sacred sentiment is Guru Puja. There is no logical reason for ‘why Guru puja is done’, why people touch the Guru’s feet; it is an emotional ‘feeling connection’.
I always tell people bhakti or feeling connected to the Master is such an ultimate thing, never miss it if at all you got it in your life. The feeling connection to something which is higher than you nullifies all the constant harassment you go through from your body and mind. There are problems which may not be solved by unclutching that will be solved by a feeling connection.
Feeling connection is the ultimate technique. You do not need any other solution or method to get out of any problem. Problems of planets, disease, negativity, blackmagic anything, feeling connection is enough.

without it any action will be dull and dry. In many cultures, such as Buddhism, there are numerous
techniques
that
help people practice love as a meditation. However, any action that is performed with love becomes a meditation in itself. An individual will never stick to a practice for more than a few days if it is being done without love. They are like two sides of a coin - when energy is radiated outwards, it is love; When it is turned inwards, it is meditation.
The best way to describe love is as a feeling of overflowing energy. A person who loves overflows in every way - whether it is passion or generosity. A person that radiates love is never aware of it. When he becomes aware, he also becomes egoistic. Love has no base or reason, and when it comes out of a person, he will not even realize it. Only when a person is overflowing, when he has excess, can he share. This gives him courage to share everything that he has to offer to the world, and he knows that he can create more of it. The Shiva Sutras have never mentioned a specific technique for using love as a meditation, and yet they are a way to create a mental setup that makes love flower in a person’s being. The greatness of Shiva lies in his ability to be the embodiment of love and incorporate that same quality in all his disciples. Love does not just change one’s attitude, it changes his very state of being.
Technique to let love flower in every being, and to remove any quality that blocks the flow of love: • Make a list of all those qualities that will obstruct the feeling of love, such as greed, lust, fear etc. • Start making lists of people or objects that create these emotions in you. For example, make a list of people or objects that incite fear, or create possessiveness in you. • Sit and meditate on these objects and people. Bring yourself to respect them, to promote and elevate them to a higher level of being.Visualize this process. After doing this process, all lust, fear, possessiveness or any other obstructive emotion will be transformed. Lust will become love, passion will become compassion. The individual himself will move a step higher on the ladder of consciousness. They will be able to experience life to the fullest, opening new channels of bliss. All of this will happen with the understanding that love is meditation and meditation is love.

Shivoham, the Mantra for Kailash By Girish Turlapati, Charlotte, USA
Girish would like to term this trip as ‘A TRIP OF LIFETIMES’. We are blessed and fortunate to go with Paramahamsa Nithyananda to Kailash. Girish would say this is a trip that transformed me inside and well as outside on how to connect with the universe.
Our trip started from Bangalore, spending a few days in Nepal, then crossing over the China Border to Tibet. Everyday morning we would

During the trip, we were provided with a Trishul & a Damaru to sing and dance with Swamiji in Kailash as Shivabhutas & Shivaganas. Girish kept chanting ‘Om Sivoham – I am Shiva’ in Kailash when sitting with the master and during the parikrama yatra. The chanting made him forget all worries, discomforts and anxiousness.

R ameshwaram Temple
Situated
at the southernmost tip of the Indian peninsula, in the Gulf
of Mannar, lies an island that is home to one of the most revered sites in all of Hinduism, the Ramanathaswamy Temple. Rameshwaram, the main town on this outcrop of mainland India, is the abode of this ancient temple. Sources cite that on Rameshwaram, Rama, the hero of the Indian epic, Ramayana, and the seventh incarnation of Vishnu, built a bridge across the sea to Sri Lanka to rescue his consort Sita from the demon king, Ravana. Upon his defeat of Ravana, Rama returned to Rameshwaram, and there offered prayers to Lord Shiva to absolve him of killing Ravana, the great grandson of Brahma and a brahmin himself. He instructed his monkey lieutenant, Hanuman, to travel to Mount Kailash in the Himalayas, in order to bring back a Shiva linga large enough and suitable enough to worship Shiva. Today, Ramanathaswamy Temple stands as a testament to Rama and the divine bhakti he displayed.
Erected
in the
12th
century, the temple has a high four-sided compound
wall measuring about 865 feet by 657 feet. It has two huge towers, or Gopurams, at the east and west sides, and two gate towers on the north and south. Moreover, it holds a number of corridors, and boasts the longest corridor among all Hindu temples in India, with a total length of about 3850 feet. Within the sanctum of the temple lie two Shiva lingas. The main Shiva linga, Ramalingam, is said to be built by Sita, while Vishwalingam is said to be brought by Hanuman. Tradition says that Rama instructed Vishwalingam to be worshiped first since it was brought by Hanuman, and to this day this tradition is followed. There are also a number of shrines surrounding the temple complex dedicated to many different Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Furthermore, the town of Rameshwaram houses a total of 64 Tirthas, or holy water bodies. Of those 64, twenty-two are located within Ramanathaswamy Temple. Bathing in these Tirthas is a major aspect of Hindu pilgrimage and considered equivalent to penance.
tirtha
41
Also significant is the fact that Ramanathaswamy Temple is regarded as one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of India. The Jyotirlinga shrines, scattered throughout India, are shrines dedicated to Shiva who is worshiped in the form of a lingam. They are first written about in the Shiv puranas, or Hindu religious texts dedicated to Shiva. It is said that Shiva himself appears and gives darshan, or divine blessings, at these particular sites. The Ramanathaswamy Temple is honored as the southernmost of the Jyotirlinga shrines.
Some
say that one should not go a lifetime without visiting
Ramanathaswamy Temple at least once. In Sanskrit, “Rameshwara” means "Lord of Rama.” To this day it is considered a holy pilgrimage site for both worshipers of Shiva and Vishnu, and also one of the four most holy sites in all of India. Although history may be forgotten and stone walls may crumble, the Divine significance of Ramanathaswamy Temple will surely stand for all of time.

And always, ALWAYS, I would click on some video and Swamiji would provide me the necessary technique, motivation and courage to come out of my problems. Again,

The NEXT day, I got a call from a consultant who had picked up my resume from naukri.com, and wanted me to come down soon to Bangalore for an interview! Within two weeks, I was on my way to Bangalore, all expenses paid. :)
I was taking the flight from LucknowBangalore via Delhi, and as I opened my laptop at Delhi airport to check my email, I saw an announcement
I also need to mention here, that it was in this intense period that the scandal also happened. I remember watching a video of his sometime before the scandal, in which (it seemed to me) that he looked straight at me and said something like ‘Your immense trust on me is a huge responsibility. I am fully aware of it. I will never let you down. I know what I am doing, and how much I mean to you. I will never let you down.’ At that time, it had given me goosebumps, and I guess somehow mentally prepared me for what was about to happen. I held onto this statement through the entire scandal. Because of the deeply mystical way in which I met Swamiji, I could never believe the video or the ‘first-hand witness accounts’
that the ban on public speaking had been removed, and Swamiji was going to hold his first discourse that very weekend in Bidadi ashram!!!!!
Needless to say I saw
Swamiji, attended the full ‘Freedom’ discourse, and also got the job offer from the same company which had called me for the interview in Bangalore, which I am now working in. :)
I
am so so privileged and fortunate
that Swamiji happened in my life. As you can see from the turn of events, if I take one step towards him, he takes ten! He said during December 2010 IA (the first one after the scandal, which I was able to attend thanks to my boss miraculously granting me leave even though I was so new
