My Dear Ones, First thing, Sannyas is the lifestyle of living in the space of “Complete Completion”. Completion in its complete form. Sannyas is the way spiritual knowledge is realized in an individual’s life. I tell you, Hindus lost so much when they stopped the sannyas tradition, when they dropped sannyas as a mainstream lifestyle. Sannyas tradition has given the humanity million times more than what the institution marriage has given to the world. Especially, the whole of India has been built by the sannyasis. Everything best has been contributed to the Hindu tradition by sannyasis. Whether it is our architecture, art, culture, language; everything, everything, everything. All the best things we have are from sannyasis. When I read the history of akhadas, ten lakh sadhus used to be shaastra dhaari sannyasis, means, mastering the spiritual knowledge, the science of Enlightenment, Jeevan Mukthi and teaching that science all over the world. Listen, sannyas is you living in the space of completion and going on enriching everyone to be in the space of completion. Our whole sangha should be a sannyas-based sangha. Either you are a sannyasi, or you are very clear you missed sannyas this time, but you enrich the world to take sannyas. Please understand, we have to revive Mahanirvani Akhada. We have to revive the spiritual science of Enlightenment in the world. At least ten lakh sannyasis should become shaastra dhaaris, studying the s cience of completion and teaching it to the world continuously. This season, on my Jayanthi Utsav (December 27th) all the ashrams, temples and centres should take up a Sannyas Yatra. From Tiruvannamalai, devotees and Swamis are planning for the Sannyas Yatra, only with the aim of inspiring the youth and people to take up sannyas, deciding to live the lifestyle of completion and teaching completion to the whole world. They will be shaastra dhaari sannyasis equipped with the s piritual knowledge. Sannyas is studying the science of completion and teaching it to the world continuously, completing with all your powerlessness and radiating powerfulness. Teaching the science of completion to the world is Sannyas. Be Blissful!

THE HAPPENING OF AN AVATAR
THE MYSTERY OF HIS BIRTH Paramahamsa Nithyananda was born to devout Hindu parents in the ancient temple town of Tiruvannamalai in South India. In fact, Arunachalam and his wife Lokanayaki were on a pilgrimage to the famous wish-fulfilling temple of Tirupati in South India, when Lokanayaki discovered that she was pregnant with her second child. They named their secondborn Rajasekaran, ‘the King of Gods’ (a popular name of Lord Shiva). Little did they realize at the time, the truth of their own words! Once, Swamiji guided wondering listeners through the miraculous event of His Birth, upon this planet: “It is impossible to articulate in words an experience that is entirely beyond space and time. But let me try! At the time of entering the body, I was in a state of complete awareness. The Earth was swamped in wave upon wave of utter darkness. An absolute silence pervaded the air. Below me, on the planet Earth, I perceived the outlines of a region which I now recognize as southern India. Suddenly, I saw a brilliant meteor flash across the sky, followed by an explosion of light. At that very moment, I entered the body and took birth. The very next sight I perceived with my inner eye was Arunachala, the sacred mountain of Thiruvannamalai, and I knew that I had assumed the body once more.” Sacred Arunachala hill

SPIRITUAL INCLINATIONS
Arunachala, the sacred mountain that draws seekers from around the world like a magnet, was Nithyananda’s first love. Home to wizened yogis, mysterious siddhas and enlightened sages like Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, the ancient mountain provided the perfect training ground for the young Nithyananda’s first experiments with the Self. From the beginning, Nithyananda was inexplicably drawn to worship, yoga and meditation. As a child, he would spend many enchanted hours performing worship for his favorite deities. His idols were his playmates, whom he would laugh and cry, play and fight with.

A LIFE TIME SPENT IN TAPAS
Temple Town of Tiruvannamalai Nithyananda spent a joyful childhood as part of a large, affluent and philanthropic family in whose home saints and wandering mendicants were always welcomed and honored. His maternal grandfather was a pious individual who contributed freely to various temples and spiritual organizations. He was Nithyananda’s first mentor who introduced him to the great spiritual traditions and scriptures of India. Nithyananda completed his diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and in the same year, fulfilled his lifelong yearning by plunging into sannyas (monastic life).

ENLIGHTENMENT AT THE AGE OF TWELVE While ‘just playing with meditation’ one day at the age of twelve, sitting on the sacred coral rock in Tiruvannamalai, Nithyananda had a profound spiritual experience that was to awaken him to hitherto unknown dimensions of consciousness, and transform his life forever. He had a 360 degree vision wherein he saw himself as one with everything around him. After this experience, which happened in the shadow of the mighty Arunachala, his longing to pursue the spiritual path was greatly intensified. The picture to the right shows Nithyananda seated on the coral rock. The pictures below show him in various locations in Tiruvannamalai engaged in his years of penance in this sacred land.

GUIDANCE ON THE PATH Alongside his studies at school, Nithyananda also trained in yoga from an accomplished yoga master and siddha (energy adept) named Yogiraj Yogananda Puri (Raghupati Yogi), whom he fondly remembers as the one who introduced him to the forgotten mystic sciences of ancient India – levitation, teleportation and materialization, among others. Under his tutelage, Nithyananda successfully completed advanced levels of yoga and meditation training. In parallel, he also started studying the Vedic scriptures, Puranas and Upanishads under the guidance of various spiritual teachers. He encountered many holy men and women in the town of Tiruvannamalai and received invaluable teachings from them. Prominent among them were Annamalai Swami (a direct disciple of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi), Yogi Ramsurat Kumar and Mataji Vibhootananda Devi (Kuppammal), who introduced him to Vedanta and Sri Vidya worship.

On the Banks of River Cauvery...
Apr 2001 – Ramakrishna Dhyanapeetam ashram in Avathipalayam, Erode on the banks of the sacred river Cauvery in South India. This is the first ever ashram established by Nithyananda even before he established the ashram in Bidadi, Bangalore in January 2003 which is considered the spiritual headquarters of the Nithyananda mission. The Erode ashram is today called Adi Nithyanandeshwara Dhyanapeetam (Adi meaning ‘the first’). This ashram has witnessed some of the most profound healing miracles of the early days.
Apr 2001 – Inauguration day of the ashram. In the 14 picture can be seen Nithyananda’s own handwriting marking the occasion. (Writing reads: 14 Apr 2001, morning, Tamil month Chithirai, Tamil New Year’s day, Inauguration of Ramakrishna Dhyanapeetam)
After the traditional inauguration of the ashram, seen here is an inaugural function in Erode. In the picture from left to right (sitting) are K.S. Rangaswamy Gounder, owner of an educational institution and an eminent person in Erode, Swamiji, Sri Thiruvambala Desika Gnanaprakasa Swamigal, Guru Maha Sannidhanam, Pontiff of the Thondaimandala Adeenam and Sri Kumarasamy Tambiran of the Tiruvaaduthurai Adeenam – both being ancient Hindu mutts in South India, and Pongianna Gounder, the donor of the ashram land.

PARIVRAJAKA
(THE DAYS OF WANDERING)
During and after his monastic training, Nithyananda wandered as a spiritual mendicant throughout India. Regal in his austerity, his whole life turned over to the bounty of Existence, the young mendicant covered thousands of kilometers on foot, visiting holy shrines, learning from numberless evolved souls and frequenting sacred pilgrimage spo‪ts. A lifetime of intense meditation, yoga, study and austerities finally came to fruition in an explosion of consciousness which revealed to him his phenomenal avataric mission on planâ€et earth. The Making Of An AVATAR MISSION UNFOLDS: ESTABLISHING NITHYANANDA DHYANAPEETAM
Nithyananda remains always grateful to the enlightened masters and the rich spiritual heritage of India which made it possible for him to learn and practice these timeless spiritual truths. Wishing to share his enlightened understanding with others, and dedicating his life to the service of humanity, he decided to end his life as a recluse and enter into the public life. To this end, he set up his socio-spiritual organization Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam on 1st January 2003, with its headquarters in Bidadi near Bengaluru (earlier Bangalore) in southern India. The organization was set up with the vision of: - Preserving, reviving and spreading the authentic Vedic tradition of India - Introducing to the common man the many benefits of yoga and meditation, and offering practical solutions for better living - Revealing to the world the science of India’s mystical yogic disciplines
- Reaching out to the needy and underprivileged through medical care, nutrition, education, youth and women’s empowerment and other humanitarian initiatives - Helping to create a conflict-free, productive and harmonious global community that transcends the barriers of language, culture and class - Leading humanity into the next spiritual revolution Superconsciousness

It is noteworthy that like how the sacred river Ganga turns its direction towards true North in Varanasi in North India, the river Cauvery turns to true North at exactly the spot here where the ashram is located!
It was after inauguration and moving in that the roof of the humble ashram was completed, providing even basic shelter from rain.

A VISIONARY AHEAD OF TIME
“ Poverty cannot be eradicated by charity. It can be eradicated only by raising the consciousness of human beings.” – Paramahamsa Nithyananda
How do we label Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s vision? A new vision seems to unfold and reveal itself at every turn. Like the five blind men in the story who tried to describe an elephant, we could call him alternately a spiritual teacher, a social visionary, the pioneer of a modern Vedic renaissance, the demystifier of the spiritual sciences of India, the architect of an enlightened civilization – or all these, and more. Nithyananda himself envisages the emergence of the true cosmic citizen, who is equally at home with the material and the mystical; a high achiever who creates and celebrates abundance in the world, the cosmic citizen is also deeply spiritual, consciously striving for both his personal transformation and the transformation of humanity.

MAHANIRVANI A glorious Heritage AKHADA NAGA SADHUS PROTECTORS OF THE DHARMA Sanatana Dharma (known in modern times as Hinduism) boasts a glorious history of tens of thousands of years. Hinduism is known for its tenets of religious tolerance and harmony. Yet this oldest living religion in the world is also known to powerfully uphold its principles and defend itself against destruction or degradation by other invading religions. Over the centuries, with the tides of time, other religions rose to oppose Hinduism and even acted as a threat to its survival. Through all these times, a small sect of Hindu monks continued to act as the spiritual warriors of the faith, their purpose being ‘dharma raksha’ .)(protection of Dharma These monks were known as ‘Naga sadhus’ (‘naked philosophers’ or ‘naked saints’). Breaking free of every limiting social conditioning, including clothes, this fiercely integrated and authentic group ranks among the most .respected of Hindu sects to date In the tenth century A.D., with the invasion of India by barbaric tribes which knew only the language of the sword, the naga sadhus were forced to take up arms to protect their religion. They were now not only shaastradhaaris (armed with the scriptures) but shastra-dhaaris .)(armed with weapons
UNDERSANDING THE NAGA LINEAGE Naga sadhus trace their lineage to Kapila Mahamuni, an enlightened saint who assumed the body more than 7000 years ago. Kapila Mahamuni was the first human being who experienced the flowering of divine consciousness while still in the human body. Naga sadhus follow the oldest monastic tradition in the world, and are even mentioned in Rig Veda, a scripture that dates back to 5000 B.C Adi Shankara, an enlightened master in the lineage of Kapila Mahamuni who effected an
extraordinary revival of Hinduism in the first century A.D & brought the Naga sadhus under a common umbrella by establishing the dashnami parampara (the tradition with ten titles). Each sadhu adopted the title suitable to his place of ..stay or type of life he led
MAHANIRVANI AKHADA - A 10,0000-YEAR-OLD HERITAGE
The first akhada to be established was the Mahanirvani Akhada. Akhadas represent Sanatana dharma in their entirety by including all Hindu sects (Shaiva, Vaishnava, Brahma, Shaakta), Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists. While the heritage of Mahanirvani Akhada is ten thousand years old, the group was formally named in 748 A.D. after a very auspicious happening. In 748 A.D., a group of seven sadhus of Atal Akhada performed tapas (intense spiritual disciplines) at a place called Gangasagar. They were graced with the darshan (divine vision) of saint Kapila Mahamuni himself. With his blessings, they revived the naga tradition with an official name - Mahanirvani Akhada - near Neel Dhara in Haridwar. Even today, the chief deity (upaasyadev) of the Mahanirvani Akhada is the .legendary saint Kapila Mahamuni Interestingly, when Mahanirvani Akhada was formed, most of the sadhus from Awahan and Atal akhadas chose to join the new akhada, and it became most prestigious and popular. In the year 1260, a troop of 22,000 naga sadhus of Mahanirvani Akhada, led by their spirited leader Mahant Bhavanand Giri, liberated Kankhal from

Currently, Mahanirvani akhada has 46 .Mahamandaleshwars Apart from this, there are administrative positions like Sachiv (secretary), Sri Mahant, Mahant; Karobari / Kothari; and .Thanapati / Thanedar Each Akhada is sub-divided into davas and marhis (centres), with each centre performing its spiritual activities under a ‘Mahant’. The top administrative body of the Akhada is Shree Panch (the body of five) also known as Pancheshwar, representing Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Shakti and Ganesha. RUDRABHISHEKHA AND SCIENCE OF SRI RUDRAM Sri Rudram is a powerful Vedic hymn on Lord Shiva. Found in the ancient RUDRA HOMA
Yajur Veda, Sri Rudram is renowned for its healing vibrations. Sri Rudram is chanted to invoke Lord Shiva’s energy, intelligence and blessings. In Sri Rudram, the Cosmic form of Shiva is described. Rudra is the Deity of anti-ageing. Rudra is the form of Shiva’s rejuvenating energy which makes us young day after day. Sri Rudram is also called the Namakam. In it there are 300 repetitions of the word ‘namaha’. Namaha in Sanskrit means ‘salutations’. It has another interpretation, which is ‘not me’. Again and again repeating the word ‘not me’ – namaha - directly hits at the root of the ego, which is the sole culprit responsible for all our problems. RUDRABHISHEKAM FOR HEALING AND ANTI-AGEING

CHANDI HOMA INVOKING THE COSMIC FEMININE ENERGY Chandi Homa is an elaborate homa offered to experience the sacred feminine Consciousness, and to ward off all evils and invite Devi’s presence and play in our lives.
WHO IS CHANDI? Chandi is the Cosmic feminine energy that runs this whole Cosmos. What we see as the outer world is nothing but the movement in the pure Cosmic consciousness. In the Vedic tradition this pure Cosmic consciousness is called Shiva, and the energy that creates movement in it is called Shakti. Shiva energy is masculine whereas Shakti energy is feminine. Chandi is the purest form of this sacred feminine energy. Chandi, the Cosmic Mother, is invoked in the sacred verses of Devi Mahatmyam or Durga Saptashati. Durga Saptashati contains 700 verses totally. It is said that just by chanting the Chandi one can get enlightened. That is the power of Chandi! Chanting the Chandi completely cleanses the manipuraka chakra which is the root of all anxiety-related diseases in human body.
WHAT IS CHANDI HOMA? Chandi homa is an elaborate fire ritual wherein trained and ordained priests invoke Mother Chandi by chanting the Chandi and offering oblations into the fire. Young girls and women who represent the Cosmic Mother are worshipped as part of this ceremony. Worship is also performed to married women to felicitate the CosmicMother. The name of the person who offers the Chandi Homa is chanted in the sankalpa mantra. Just by doing this, the whole energy and positivity created by the homa is transferred to that being, no matter where the person is in the world. This is achieved by the power of the Sanskrit mantras. Chandi Homa has the wonderful power to awaken the deeper strands of DNA and increase the life-energy in the person. This homa is also so famous for its power to nullify all negative energies inside and outside us, by creating a space which attracts all auspicious energies.

BRAHMOTSAVAS AND FESTIVALS
Hinduism, with its colourful pantheon of gods and goddesses, joyfully embraces the truth that the Formless expresses in whatever form the devotee wishes to behold it! Brahmotsavams are long festivals that celebrate each of these expressions of the Divine eâ€nergy. Apart from the brahmotsavams for the seven major presiding deities, two important festivals that honor Lord Shiva and the spiritual Guru are also celebrated at Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam. A host of other festivals that add color to the lifestyle include Krishna Janmashtami (birth anniversary of Lord Krishna), Pongal (the harvest festival), the Vedic New Year, Holi (the festival of colors) and Diwali (the festival of liâ€ghts).

Maheshwara Puja
Completion with Departed Souls
Maheshwara Puja is the process prescribed in the Vedic Hindu tradition for completing with departed souls. Maheshwara Puja is the puja offered to Sannyasis and Brahmacharis in the path of Sannyas. In this puja the Sannyasis are treated as Lord Shiva Himself and are offered bhiksha and fed. Maheshwara Puja is the oldest recorded ritual prevalent even today in the Vedic tradition. In the Maheshwara Puja, Swamiji Himself receives the puja and receives the naivedya bhiksha – the food of fering. Maheshwara Puja is offered in the memory of a person who is no more. It is offered so that the departed soul rests in peace. The real peace that a soul can experience is the space of Enlightenment. Maheshwara Puja bestows the space of completion with all departed souls and hence the participant is liberated from all the incompletions and patterns related and created by the deceased soul. Sannyasis have no other desire or intention but to get Enlightened and get their identity dissolved in the Cosmos. They become a pure channel for the Cosmos. So feeding them and offering Puja to them brings about the same effect in the departed soul and helps them attain enlightenment and getting merged with the Cosmos.
In the Maheshwara Puja performed in Bidadi Ashram, Swamiji who is the very embodiment of Cosmic energy, personally receives the Bhiksha food and eats it and liberates the departed soul. No matter how many births the person would have taken after leaving the body and no matter if the person has met the Master or not in the life, the Master can intervene and make His presence available in the departed soul’s life and lead it to Enlightenment. Swamiji says that if a person has committed suicide there is no other way for the liberation of the soul other than Maheshwara Puja. Swamiji adds that He can help the departed soul only if a photograph of that person is provided (especially if the departed soul is not an initiated disciple of Swamiji), for He has to trace the being in the whole Cosmos only with the tiny information of a small photo. Also the tradition says that one morsel of rice offered and fed to an Enlightened Master liberates seven generations up and seven generations down the heredity of the Maheshwara Puja participant. Those many extra morsels of rice fed bestows that many kalpas (4.32 billion human years) of life in Kailasa (in the space of an Enlightened Master) to the participant.

Skanda Shashti October/November Skanda, the son of Lord Shiva, is known as a fierce warrior and the General of the army of the devas or demi-gods. Skanda waged a war against the demons Simhamukha, Surapadma and Tarakasura in a battle that lasted six days and killed them on the day after the Deepavali festival, thereby fulfilling his mission on planet Earth. This day is called the Skanda Shashti day. As a reward for helping the Devas, their king Indra gave his daughter Devasena .(Devayani) in marriage to Skanda Skanda represents valor, courage and protection. The spear in His hands represent the awareness with which the fear is to be faced. This Skanda Sashti brahmotsav is celebrated with great pomp and festivity for six days every year, culminating in the celestial wedding of Skanda and Devasena on the seventh day. Devotees perform penance on all the six days for fulfilling their desires and receiving the grace of Lord Skanda.
Nithyanandeshwara – Brahmotsavam November/ December Sri Nithyanandeshwara with Nithyanandeshwari is the presiding deity of the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam. Nithyanandeshwara and Nithyanandeshwari are the forms of Shiva and Devi Par vati.
Five thousand years ago Devi prayed to Shiva to reveal the secret techniques of Enlightenment for the benefit of the whole world. Pleased by the selfless prayer of Devi – the Cosmic Mother, Shiva revealed the great techniques of Enlightement which are later compiled as a scripture called “Vijnana Bhairava”, which consists of 112 techinques for Enlightenment. Nithyanandeshwara revealed these techniques to Devi exactly in the same place where the Nithyanandeshwara Temple is situated in the Bidadi ashram of Nithyananda Dhayanapeetam. Since Devi Nithyanandeshwari compassionately received the techniques for Enlightenment for the sake of us, Her actualizing Nithyanandeshwara’s energy within Her, is celebrated as Brahmotsavam for Nithyanandeshwara in Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam.
Navaratri Brahmotsavam -September/ October The Navaratri brahmotsav or Dasara is the festival of Devi - the Divine Mother. Devi is the embodiment of the sacred feminine energy. Navaratri means the set of nine nights. The Markandeya Purana elaborately expresses how Mother protected the planet Earth from the negativity which got manifested as many Demons especially Mahishasura. To fight the war with the negative energy, the energy of Durga, Lakshmi and saraswati got merged and took a form called Mahishasura mardini or Chandi. On all these nine nights Devi fought with the negativities and on the tenth day She got the victory. The tenth day which marks the destruction of negativity and victory of the positive energy- the sacred feminine energy, is celebrated as Vijaya Dasami. Vijaya Dasami is one of the two most auspicious day of any year, the other day being AkshayaTritiya.

Chitirai Brahmotsavam - April The Cosmic Energy assumed a human form and came down to planet Earth around 2000 years ago in two forms, one male and the other female. Lord Shiva came down to earth as Lord Somasundareshwara and Goddess Devi came down in the form of Meenakshi in the temple town of Madurai in Tamil Nadu, South India. During the Sanga age of the Cauvery civilization, Devi Meenakshi appeared as a three-year-old child to the Pandya king Malayadhvaja as a result of his spiritual austerities. Meenakshi grew up excelling in each and every field. A fierce warrior and an expert in warfare, she conquered all the eight digpalakas – the demi-gods of each of the eight cardinal direction, and she even won Lord Devendra – the king of all demi-gods. Finally, Meenakshi proceeded to Mt. Kailash to conquer Lord Shiva! At Kailash, she fought and subdued Nandideva - the divine vehicle of Lord Shiva. Then Lord Shiva Himself came down to face her. The moment her eyes fell on Lord Shiva, Meenakshi realized that he was her future husband! She fell in love with Shiva and married him in the presence of all the divine beings. Lord Vishnu himself conducted the marriage of Meenakshi and Somasundareshwara – the name which Shiva took in this incarnation. Every year, during the Tamil month of Chitirai, the Cosmos celebrates again and again the grand celestial wedding of Meenakshi and Sundareshwara. This period is celebrated as Chitirai Brahmotsavam. Each day, Meenakshi and Sundareshwara appear on different vahanas – divine vehicles – and the divine leelas of Shiva are depicted in the alankar – decoration. This is called Leela Dhyana.
Ganesha Brahmotsavam – August/ September Ganesha is the elephant-headed god and the son of Shiva and Parvati. He is universally worshipped by all Hindus. The story of Ganesha’s birth and his elephant.headed form is an unusual one Once, when goddess Parvati was bathing in the river, she kneaded the sandalwood paste that she used for her bath, molded it in a human form, and breathed life into it. Immediately the sandalwood figure became a living boy. She decided to let him guard her while she finished her bath. When Shiva came to the river, the boy-guard stopped him from entering it. Annoyed, Shiva severed the head of the child. Parvati, learning that her son was dead asked Shiva to revive Him. Not finding any suitable human form nearby, Shiva liberated a white elephant, cut the head of the elephant and fixed it on the boy’s body. Shiva named him Ganesha, the lord of the Ganas (Shiva’s motley army of benevolent ghosts and goblins). The auspicious day marking the ‘birth’ of Lord Ganesha is called Ganesha Chaturti. Ganesha is called as Vinayaka and Ganapati. Ganesha is the remover of all obstacles in our inner and outer worlds which arise only due to the fantasies. Ganesha Brahmotsavam is a 10-day festival .celebrating the advent of Lord Ganesha
Venkateshwara Brahmotsav september Vasanta Brahmotsavam is the celestial celebration of the happening of Lord Venkateshwara, which takes place during the spring season. (Vasanta means Spring & Brahmotsavam means celestial celebration). Nature responds to each emotion of the human beings. The arrival of spring (the season named Vasanta) heralds a unique change outside and inside us. The soft breeze and the fragrance of the flowers that are in full bloom is felt by all living beings. Each man feels the love and softness flowering inside him. He feels the expansion due to love happening inside him. This is the magic that nature weaves in each one of us. Sri Ananda Venkateshwara is the representation and personification of Cosmic Love. He is also the Lord of grandeur and richness. The blessings and boons each one receives on being connected with this energy is proof of the benevolence of Lord Venkateshwara. His consort Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth. This has also made Lord Venkateshwara the most sought-after divine energy.

Guru Poornima is the Master’s Day
Guru Poornima A Master is a new possibility happening in a person’s life. A Master goes on rekindling the inspiration in a person, reawakening the possibilities in them and reaffirming their strength. Even if a person gives up on himself, the Master does not give up on him. It is the day devotees remember, revere, respect and re-dedicate their beings to the sadguru or the Master and express gratitude for the very presence of the cosmos in their lives. Guru Poornima translates to ‘The Full Moon of the Guru’. It is a precious opportunity to open one’s self again to the guidance of the Guru. This is the auspicious day when the Guru receives his devotees into his compassion and wipes out even the most terrible karmas of lifetimes with his unconditional grace. Devotees may place any fears, doubts, sorrows, or desires at the Guru’s lotus feet on this day and in return, they receive abhaya (fearlessness) and varada (grace). This simple act of offering gratitude is said to burn the accumulated karma of many lives. Just like sunlight can burn a piece of paper if placed under a magnifying glass, one’s karmas can get burnt away
in the presence of an enlightened Master who is the bridge between them and the universal consciousness that is called God! It is said that whatever good we offer to the divine comes back to us thousand fold. This offering to the Guru is called bhiksha. It may be anything, some service, cash or kind. The material gifts one gives are symbolic of the ‘ahamkara’ (ego) of the disciple; which is the only thing the Guru asks for - the limited identity of the disciples, so they may leave it behind and grow into the limitlessness of the Supreme. In the external act of placing what one considers important to oneself at the Guru’s feet, the devotee gives a bit of one’s self to a higher source,

Maha Shivaratri Night Of Supreme Auspiciousness Maha Shivaratri is the night when an explosion of superconscious energy happens on our planet. Vedic cosmology traces this explosion back to the Big Bang, the moment of the creation of our universe. In the sacred Vedic text Arunachala Purana, this momentous happening is depicted as the Lord Shiva (symbol of cosmic energy )taking the form of an endless shaft of light spanning earth and sky. Every year, by a fortunate alignment of cosmic forces, a tiny reflection of the same explosion happens on our planet on this night. Every year, at the very time when the legendary explosion of light happened, Paramahamsa Nithyananda initiates devotees into the intense Shiva Kundalini meditation. Thousands participate in the meditation from around the world, via NTV and two-way video-conferencing. This meditation creates a huge ripple of positive energy whose effects will be felt globally. The meditation follows the live Maha Shivaratri satsang (discourse) by Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Paramahamsa Nithyananda also performs the Maha Rudraabhishekam, a powerful Vedic process for destroying all diseases and removing obstacles to health and well-being. Devotees are welcome to participate in the Maha Rudraabhishekam. Also offered on Maha Shivaratri is Kalpataru, a full-day meditation program to harness and channel the cosmic energy towards the fulfilment of our true desires – be it health, prosperity, peace of mind or enlightenment. Avatara Brahmotsavam & Jayanti It is said that the Divine performs five tasks – creating, sustaining, destroying-rejuvenating, putting in illusion and gracing with Enlightenment. To perform the first four tasks, He does not need our permission. But to bless us with Enlightenment, He requires our cooperation! For this very purpose, He takes a human body and descends to planet Earth. Showing us by His own example that Enlightenment is possible in a human body, He inspires us to take the leap into Enlightenment. He is the Avatar, ‘the one who has descended from the Divine into the human plane’. While an enlightened guru serves as a boat to take people from this shore to the other, the Avatar is a huge motorable bridge that millions can use to make the journey from suffering to bliss. Bhagavan Sri Krishna says, “Whenever there is an imbalance in the positive consciousness on planet Earth, I happen again and again, to protect the good and vanquish the evil.” In our age, Divinity once again has landed on planet Earth as His Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda to raise human consciousness to the nextlevel. It was on the day of the Chitra nakshatra (star) of the Dhanu month of the solar Vedic calendar that the Cosmic Energy landed on this planet as Paramahamsa Nithyananda. This auspicious event is celebrated in Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam as the Avatara Brahmotsavam, a ten-day festival culminating in Avatar Day. During this high-energy period, devotees offer prayers and undertake spiritual practices to experience enlightenment and liberation by the boundless grace of the Avatar.

Rituals for Universal Positivity & World Peace Maha
Saptayaagam Collective fire ceremony
Nithyananda Vedic temples conducts Maha Saptayaagam, a grand collective fire ritual, with 101 simultaneous fire pits for the traditional offerings. Conducted for World peace , the traditional ceremony is marked with offerings to each of the 7 main deities of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, invoking their energies into the fire, and is followed by a final offering of herâ€bs. The human system has seven major energy centers called the chakras. Each deity presides over one vital chakra, and each chakra is associated with an emotion that cause disturbance in the mind and therefore in the body. When we worship the presiding Deity through these rituals, it takes us beyond the clutches of the associatâ€ed emotions and liberates us. When done sincerely, this ritual becomes a deep meditation that cleanses collective negativity and purifies the ozone layer. All the chantings, visualizations and offerings (including herbs) add to the net positive vibrations in the space and thus contributing directly to the greater peace and Universal p †ositivity in the world.

Deities - Magical manifestations of Existential energy We should understand one thing: how our prayers become reality, how our prayers come to real life, how they become reality. If you keep a picture slide in front of a projector light, you will see that picture W on the screen as reality. If you keep a temple picture slide, you will see the temple. If you keep an actor's picture slide, you will see that actor. Whatever you keep in front of the projector light, you will see that in reality. In the same way whatever thought we keep in front of concentrated energy, you will see that the thought becomes reality! The garbha mandirs temples - are intense energy centers created by enlightened Masters and maintained by regular pujas - offerings, and mantras - chants. Continuous repetition of mantras charges the whole energy. The whole space is kept alive. When you go and stand in front of such an energy field, when you offer your thoughts, simply the whole thing becomes râ€eality!
The energizing process, through five elements There is a beautiful verse in Taitreya Upanishad. It says from akasha - ether came vayu - air. From vayu came agni - fire. From agni came water, from water came earth. From the earth came other things - life. In the same way, energy is also brought to life. First thing: the energy exists beyond ether, beyond the space. Through visualization or meditation, the energy is brought to akasha - space. From there through verbalization or through chanting of mantras, it is brought to the air. From there through fire rituals or homas, it is brought to fire. From there it is brought to water stored in the kumbha pot. From the kumbha it is brought to the bimba - idol, and installed (in water form as the holy bath). That is the way the energy is brought and installed inside the statue or the idol. When the energy is installed inside the idol, you can't call it a statue or idol anymore. It becomes a dâ€eity.
Nithyananda Sacred Arts Enlightened Masters, when they leave planet Earth, when they leave their body, they feel there should be a space which can continuously inspire people, which can continuously heal, which can inspire, which can give people the experience of spirituality, which can give them a sacred feeling. That is why they have created these structures - temples. Temples are like satellite relay centers where high intense spiritual energy is created and sent all over the world to help human beings heal themselves physically, mentally, emotionally and above all spiritually. Meditation is the master key to relate with the energy .which is in the form of murti - deity Paramahamsa Nithyananda ~
Indian temples are famous for profuse sculpture and magnificent proportions. Master craftsmen with a fine sense of balance and skill have created over thousands of years, magnificent temples with intricate workmanship. The history of Indian Temple Arts dates back to 5000 B.C. As per Vedic tradition of ancient India, Indian Temple Arts have brought to life, expressions of Existence for one to e xperience. Nithyananda Sacred Arts is set up to propagate and preserve ancient temple arts; to produce awe-inspiring temple art works. It offers deities, vahanas (vehicles of Gods), temple structures, flag staffs, temple jewelry, puja items and more. Dedicated and skilled artisans work under the guidance of veteran sthapathis professionals in temple arts for up to 9 generations. All this coupled with order processing and shipment are directly controlled by the institution. Produced with striking quality to competitive prices, the products offer the ambience of ancient Vedic heritage for the modern man. The entire work is based on Agama Shastra - the ancient science of temples and deities. The gamut of operations includes generation of line drawings for temple arts, stone quarrying, stone, metal, sheet metal and wood work, making of temple jewelry, clothing for deities and more.
The Science of Temples Ancient battery houses of Cosmic energy… Temples are created just to hold enormous energies. Enlightened Masters install their energy in them. All the great Indian temples are installed by enlightened Masters. It is like when a rich person dies, he leaves all his property through his will to somebody - his sons, daughters or some relatives. He leaves all the property. In the same way, when an enlightened person leaves his body, he leaves all his tapas - penance, all his punya - merits installed in temples. Our Masters have designed beautiful batteries which can hold this energy and radiate it for thousands of years. Temples are the batteries in which they have stored their e nergy.

DECODING THE MYSTICAL YOGIC SCIENCES
Kundalini Awakening Through Initiation Over the past decade, Paramahamsa Nithyananda has been working closely with a team of scientists and researchers to throw more light on the mystical sciences rooted in the Vedic tradition, and reach the benefits of these sciences to people across .the world The focus of recent studies has been the activation or ‘awakening’ of the Kundalini Shakti, the inner potential energy that lies latent in every individual. While Kundalini is well-known in Eastern yogic science, it is only just beginning to gain recognition as a .scientific reality in Western medical circles Kundalini energy can be activated by various means like yoga, breathing techniques (pranayama), certain herbal preparations, creating particular vibrations in the body through the chanting of mantras, and through initiation (energy transmission) by a yoga adept whose Kundalini is already awakened. Of these, initiation is the fastest, easiest and safest way of awakening . Kundalini
Once awakened, Kundalini brings about extraordinary transformation in the body-mind system of the individual, including a huge surge in energy levels, the healing of chronic diseases and enhanced mental abilities. When Kundalini ascends the spine through the sushumna nadi (the main channel of .subtle energy), it results in a huge energy influx into the brain As the Kundalini flows from the thalamus to the cortex, it sets up a powerful energy loop within the brain, generating coherent alpha and gamma waves, and awakening the dormant, non-mechanical parts of the brain which we have .never used before With increasing levels of coherence, the whole brain comes alive, turning into a super-conductor of conscious energies that heal, empower and transform our lives. Enhanced awareness levels, greater creativity and extraordinary abilities start to express through us - like levitation, teleportation and materialization. Brain activation is also known to slow .down the ageing process and improve immunity to disease
DECODING THE
MYSTICAL YOGIC SCIENCES Yogic Sciences reveal the secret and sacred arts of materialization, levitation, Kundalini awakening, yogic kriyas, living on prana energy and spiritual healing. Enlightened master, Paramahamsa Nithyananda has unlocked the secrets of the sacred sciences and has made it accessible to humanity. In the modern context, Yogic sciences can now be scientifically tested and the results on the human body and mind are simply !revolutionary
DECODING THE MYSTICAL YOGIC SCIENCES
Unfortunately, these extraordinary sciences are all but lost to humanity today. As on date, a few rare individuals are able to materialize items like sacred ash from their own bodies or from objects that carry their energy print. But Paramahamsa Nithyananda is arguably the only known being on our planet with the ability to manifest matter from energy in a matter of a few minutes, in the bodies of people sitting thousands of miles away, using nothing but !his own unimaginable yogic powers Moving easily between the dimensions of energy and matter, Nithyananda assembles and reassembles molecules in the air, creating, dissolving and re-creating objects in materials as diverse as stone, crystal and organic compounds. He is known to have materialized as many as 103 precious objects through a single divyashareeri (energy channel), in a space of a few hours. It would have taken Mother Nature thousands of years to create every single .one of them But as Nithyananda Himself clarifies, there is no such thing called a miracle! All so-called miracles are perfectly scientific happenings, based on natural laws that we are yet to fully .comprehend
DECODING THE MYSTICAL YOGIC SCIENCES
Materialization
the Siddhi of Divine Manifestation Can Something Be Created Out Of Nothing? Yes, say the followers of Paramahamsa Nithyananda, who are witnessing the impossible every day at Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam’s Vedic Temples worldwide. Innumerable devotees have been witnessing the miraculous appearance of innumerable sacred items, from vibhooti (holy ash) to honey to gems to small idols in the Vedic Temples or in their homes, all by a word of blessing from Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Well-documented and very often videographed, it seems that these extraordinary mystical happenings can !neither be brushed aside nor explained Of the hundreds of such miracles that devotees are experiencing, just a few have been mentioned here - all of them occurring within minutes or hours of Nithyananda announcing .that they would happen Materialization & Vedic Science Is materialization no more than an expression ?of the faith of the faithful
?Is it deception, magic or science
?Is it real
Even today, the finest minds in the global scientific community are unable to explain these happenings, which are commonplace in the 90,000-year-old Indian Vedic tradition that .Paramahamsa Nithyananda represents According to Vedic cosmogony, our universe itself was created out of the thought-power of the god Brahma. The holy scripture Yoga Vaashishta describes how highly advanced yogis can create objects out of their mind, through a rare combination of perfect visualization and the yogic power of creation (praakaamya). Praakaamaya is one of the ashta maha siddhis or Eight Mighty Yogic Powers, accomplished only through many lifetimes of .yogic disciplines, and the grace of the Divine

Nithya Spiritual Healing The Genesis Paramahamsa Nithyananda left home at the age of 17 and spent nine years wandering in search of the ultimate truth. During his wandering days, he spent many years in the Himalayan region, and more ahtn nine months in the mountain retreat of Tapovan. Tapovan is considered to be one of the ‘airstrips’ to the mystical energy field of Shambala. It is hidden away in the mountains, and has no proper access paths. Traveling to and from Tapovan requires extensive acclimatization. Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s first encounter with his own latent healing powers happened while returning from Tapovan. He describes the happening: I was returning from Tapovan by foot. As you come to the‘ lower ranges, army trucks can be found moving along the mountain paths. I was given a ride in one such truck. In these army trucks, there are usually no seats – only wooden planks tightened with nuts and bolts. Suddenly the truck went over a big hump and I was lifted and thrown down on the wooden plank. My spine hit one of the bolts and was fractured. When we reached the next army camp, the army doctor took an X-ray and said that I needed to rest for a month. 30 days was too long a time for me to stay in one place just resting! I did not bother about the doctor’s instructions, did not take any treatment and just put my hand on the injured area. That’s all. The injury was healed! That was how I discovered the power of healing that our body carries in itself.’

Spiritual Healing
Tuning In To The Highest Cosmic Energy Energy healing involves a range of energy frequencies which fall into two broad categories – pranic and spiritual. Healing that uses pranic energy draws from the inexhaustible reservoir of the universal life-force, channeling it into the diseased body to facilitate healing. However, we would do well to remember that this life-force is not a superconscious energy. For instance, electricity is also energy, but it is a blind energy. Electric current does not have its own intelligence. If you fix a bulb in the socket, it will glow. If you put your hand in the socket, it will give you an electric shock, that’s all! It doesn’t know where to go or how to work. The universal life-force is like this. Like electricity, it can do enormous good in
the right hands, but if both healer and receiver are not well-protected, or if it is not channeled in the right way, this same energy can do great harm. It is not rare to hear of healers contracting the same disease that they are healing their patients of, or of ‘parasite’ receivers who continue to suck and drain the healer’s energy long after the healing session is over. The second type of energy is spiritual energy. Here we draw from the highest frequencies of the cosmic energy. This energy is intelligent; it knows where to go and what to do. Since it is intelligent, it cannot be manipulated by us to the extent that we manipulate life-force energy. But the results it gives
are always, always for the best. Nithya Spiritual Healing uses the second type of energy. Neither healer nor receiver is required to do anything except enter into restful awareness and allow the cosmic energy to heal. However, while it is possible to sensitize oneself to grosser vibrations like life-energy through practice, the subtle spiritual energy can be channeled only by an advanced being who resonates at the same frequency. That is why initiation by an enlightened master becomes essential on the path of spiritual energy healing.
Deeksha Deeksha or initiation is the direct transmission of Truth, from Master to disciple. Through initiation, the Master prepares the student to receive, hold and radiate the truths he has received during the sessions for a longer period of time.
Paramahamsa Nithyananda on Initiation When a master touches and initiates you, the software of enlightened physiology is also downloaded into you, changing your physiology. If you are completely open during the touch, the software of enlightened physiology can be downloaded into you. Your body learns that it can be better than what it is now! Your bio-memory learns the lesson that the possibility for a better existence is there. When you have the grace of the master, both the hardware and software can be totally changed. The conscious mind can be cleared by the right teachings, by removing the wrong ideas and taking in clear and correct ideas. The unconscious mind can be cleared by meditation techniques. The unconscious zone in the mind is like the software that can be cleansed by meditation. But ultimately, for the software change to be permanent, the hardware also has to change. Your very brain grooves have to change to hold and radiate the experience of living enlightenment. This can happen through deeksha (initiation). Initiation is directly transmitting the energy by which different dimensions of you will start getting awakened. The hardware, the brain itself, will be tuned to hold this new software by the darshan or graceof the master.
Darshan
A Glimpse of the Divine That most exquisitely beautiful and inexplicable of all moments, when we come face-to-face with the Divine.
Darshan is traditionally used to describe the moment when we behold a deity, a saint or an enlightened being. The experience of darshan is highly revered in Vedic tradition, as just seeing a divine or enlightened being is believed to cleanse the karmas of lifetimes, and create deep and lasting transformation in us. But Darshan is something far beyond mere physical ‘seeing’. The word ‘darshan’ is usually translated as ‘divine vision’ or ‘holy sight’, but like many mystical Sanskrit words, darshan cannot be translated. Rather, it has to be experienced. How To Describe Darshan? Like in a temple, just before the day’s worship begins, when the doors of the inner shrine swing open and we glimpse the radiant bejewelled form of the deity gleaming in the lamplit darkness, a certain moment happens that is beyond words, beyond thoughts, beyond the mind. That momentis darshan!
Science Of Darshan
The important thing in darshan is not ‘what to do’, Darshan is not an event in space and time. but ‘how to be’. Darshan Rather, darshan happens at the moment cannot be given, but it may when we are lifted out of space and time. be ‘drawn’ from the source Darshan is like a window to the infinite by the receiver, by tuning expanse of Consciousness, allowing us to in to this superconsicous glimpse the formless in a way that we can vibration. The breathing understand. space of an enlightened Darshan is the powerful superconscious being is like an extension of vibration that is present around an his physical body. It is a live enlightened being at all times. Although we healing energy-field. When usually speak of ‘getting’ the darshan of an we are completely available evolved soul, an enlightened being does not and receptive in such an actually ‘give’ darshan - he simply radiates energy-field, we don’t need a darshan. Just as the sun continuously technique to catch a glimpse radiates light, whether anybody is present of the same state. Even to receive it or not, the enlightened without much effort from consciousness is forever radiating its our side, our bio-memory presence. The auspicious moment when we ‘learns’ the expression of are able to ‘catch’ it becomes the moment enlightenment. of darshan for us!
Nirahara Samyama Beyond Fasting & Feasting! Food is Maya! "Listen. I am uttering two important sacred secrets.
TESTIMONIALS
First, your body does not need the quantity of the food you take in. It is not just a physical need. This is the first statement. Second, your body does not even need food to live. Understand, the first statement I am making – your body does not need the amount of food you take in because the food is not just physical requirement. Most of the time, with the food pattern hundreds of other things are associated.
Why I Live Without Food - Nithyadevi Disease free body Zero comparison Be beautiful in and out
"Nirahara Samyama is blasting all the pattern you have created related to food. Listen: I am not interested in making you all starve! No! Niraharis never starve. They just go beyond food! Look into the major patterns with which you make your life powerless. My interest is in liberating you from the patterns related to food with which you are suffering – irritation, agitation, dependency, pride, love, lust. Today, food is a major reason why even people who seem to have everything don’t feel centered and balanced. All your restlessness, anger, violence and pain are nothing but the weight of the patterns that have settled in the body. When you deprive the body of food through a spiritual process like Nirahara, the patterns weaken and break."
Low mood, what’s that?
Nirahara has taught me that I am responsible for everything I experience inside of me and outside of me. Its this state of constant excitement for LIFE that I carry within me! Nithyadevi, 27, BSBA, MBA, Entrepreneur, Singapore
When you live a life of Nirahara, you will understand - food is one of the powerful collective delusory patterns that you suffer with. That is the closest definition I can give for the word ‘Maya’!” - Paramahamsa Nithyananda

I always thought a Yogi is someone who after renouncing everything go to Himalayas and do tapas standing on one leg and achieve great powers like living without food, materializing objects, power to take PRANA from earth and who exhibit extraordinary powers which an normal day-to-day life householder cannot even conceive. But with Nirahara Samyama, I have uncovered the hidden Yogi in me. When I became NIRAHARI….let alone for others, it was a shock even for me to find out that I can live actually without food!
Lost 10 kgs and all the excess fat during the samyama itself, and body stabilized after that. Face became younger!
Physical health improved dramatically - my WBC, Iron Binding capacity and B12 which were all on the lower size all stabilized after the samyama. Tremendous healing from within - I felt GOOD about myself, and developed a tremendous confidence and courage to stand for what I believed in. Nithya Yoga
The Yoga of Completion & Creation Paramahamsa Nithyananda, a powerful adept in the science of yoga and kriya, and is reviving the authentic Yogic science with an enlightened insight into human nature and possibilities. he First Step Of Yoga Is Completion" "T ~ Paramahamsa Nithyananda In the practice of Nithya Yoga, the first step is centering yourself and declaring inside, “With Integrity, Authenticity, Responsibility and Enriching myself and others, I declare, I am complete”. Once you consciously declare you are complete and spontaneously clear your inner space from the noise of incompletions, you will start sculpting your body in the way that will really expand you in all levels, physically, mentally and consciously. Nithya Yoga is the yoga of creation. Completing and aligning your movement and breath with a deep intention to live to your peak possibility, living in the Ultimate space of well-being, peace, joy and bliss. Create your own ultimate reality: this is authenticity in action. Paramahamsa Nithyananda defines the yogic body as a body which has the following five components: Power
Stamina
Flexibility
Physique
Energy
He says, “When you take true ownership of your body and sculpt it with yoga and pranayama into a healthy and blissful body, it is a yogic body."
Nithya Kriya For centuries, kriyas have been practiced by millions of people in India to cure diseases, but their potent healing effects have gone largely unnoticed in the west until now. Paramahamsa Nithyananda has Presented Powerful Healing Techniques of 'Nithya Kriyas', for 108 Mental and Physical Health Disorders. The Nithya Kriyas consist of unique sequences of yoga, meditation and breathing techniques for the healing of specific diseases and for disease prevention. There are authentic yogic processes available (http://www.nithyananda.org/nithya-kriyas) Paramahamsa Nithyananda states that this contribution has the potential to revolutionize health care. In addition, the kriya techniques have never before been assembled so specifically for particular disorders. Each kriya technique has complete, guided, step-by-step instructions, including photos and videos empowering any individual to find a pathway to health and well-being. Paramahamsa Nithyananda trained under powerful yogis since childhood, and has been a practitioner of mystical yogic sciences, reviving many ancient teachings. Nithya Kriyas are anchored in the sacred yoga scriptures, including the “Patanjali Yoga Sutras,” as well as the three classic texts that form the base of yoga. Utilizing the powerful, ancient Vedic teachings as a guide, each kriya is specifically created with a combination of postures and breathing patterns to address a disease. The kriyas are designed to heal the body and break the root cause of the disease. For example, Nithyananda says there are three factors involved in the cause of diabetes:
Eating with a lack of awareness.
Eating food that does n ot support your health.
How you eat your food – what kinds of thoughts you’re having whileeating.
SHARING... I have never seen something reduce my sugar“ level so rapidly. This is extraordinary!” says Ricardo Boreiki from Houston, Texas, USA. This 63 year old man suffering from diabetes for 33 years experienced miraculous healing after using Nithya Kriya. Ricardo Boreiki says that he had a blood sugar level between 300 – 400 and using 45 units of insulin daily, and now his sugar level is steady at 85 and uses only 5 units of insulin in the mornings since he started practicing Nithya Kriya. You can watch his sharing of the miracle on the below video (4.30 mins. onwards) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBKGrH2IdJc&f eature=plcp

Vision For A Vibrant Future Keen to inculcate the best of Sanatana Dharma in the new generation, Paramahamsa Nithyananda has successfully revived the forgotten traditions of gurukul education and sannyas (monastic life).
The gurukul (literally meaning ‘family of the guru’) is a unique learning center for children where education is holistic and need-based. The gurukul guides children to blossom into integrated individuals, spiritually anchored high-achievers and responsible global citizens.
Paramahamsa Nithyananda is also creating a revolution among the youth by reviving sannyas as not just an alternate life, but the ultimate life for enriching oneself and others.
Enlightening Nithyanandam based Spiritual Education (eNBSE) Planet Earth needs more and more people who are awakened and enlightened. For that to happen, we first need to provide ‘enlightening education’ for our children, in which learning is based on stimulation of non-mechanical parts of the brain, right brain activity-based experiential assimilation, activating multiple intelligence channels, and most importantly, understanding life solutions. I want these children to wake up like flowers, with“ deep love, and live with people who are meditators, so they know how to balance themselves. The children will not absorb the negativity of the outer world and will maintain the purity of the inner world, radiating Nithyananda – eternal bliss!” – Paramahamsa Nithyananda The word ‘gurukul’ is a Sanskrit term meaning ‘the extended family of the Guru or the master’. Nithyananda Gurukul was founded with a vision to create a quantum-intelligent civilization based on integrity, authenticity, responsibility and enriching in all children across the world. Its mission is: To help children retain their .spontaneity by awakening their intuition To develop a dynamic body that will enable children balance and channelize their .energies
To provide integrated education that will instill and nourish their development in outer and inner world To create and sustain an enlightened community based on consciousness rather than conscience, it is important that we teach the children the concepts of Living Enlightenment .as early in their lives as possible
Nithyananda Gurukul Nurturing Geniuses
Recognized by and affiliated to Edexcel in the United Kingdom and can now offer â€International GCSE qualifications.
Best Of Both Worlds Nithyananda Gurukul is designed as a combination of contemporary and vedic education that creates successful leaders with sound spiritual strength. The curriculum includes standard academics, along with life sciences, brain yoga, mallakhamba, meditation, Sanskrit chanting, etc. for balanced neurological growth. Vedic mathematics, which foreshadowed the software revolution by thousands of years, teaches children to compute figures easily without the use of calculators. Ecological awareness and connection with the planet that sustains us are emphasized. Awareness of beauty is cultivated through performing and graphic arts. Life solutions are taught through activities and games to give the children a complete understanding of themselves .and the people and the world around them
Tools For A Blissful Life When young children have an enriching environment conducive to learning early in life, they often have higher IQ (Cognitive Intelligence), EQ (Social-Emotional Intelligence) .and SQ (Spiritual Intelligence) scores All conventional schools train the child in IQ (Intelligence Quotient) and now some schools have started to train them in EQ (Emotional Quotient). However, we fail to understand the possibility of the moving the child to SQ (Spiritual Quotient) and finally leading them to eN-Q .)(Enlightenment Quotient Key lifestyle issues faced by the children like fear, greed, anger, frustration, perversion, abusive language etc. are some of the main topics discussed in a language that the children can understand along with the regular subjects. For example we explain to the child that “Love is like sponge and ego is like rock, the child quickly understands the inner quality of themselves. This helps them overcome day .to day emotion and psychological problems as well The Nithyananda Gurukul is an International coeducational residential school, located inside the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam ashram, about 30 kms from Bangalore on the Bangalore Mysore highway. Testimonials How does genius occur in the children at Nithyananda Gurukul? What is the difference between extraordinary intelligence and everyday ?function Our left brain controls logical, linear thinking. Our right brain governs intuition and inspired creativity. Whole brain learning is an education system that supports both forms of thought, giving rise to a well-balanced individual. Extensive studies on human cognition show that genius takes place when both the right and left sides of the brain are active and working .together. This is a rare phenomenon Children are born with both sides of the brain alert and open for gathering information. But standard education and social conditioning today nourishes only the left brain, leaving the right brain without any stimulation. By age 7, most children have lost the right-brain connection and have closed down those activities almost completely. But they remain dormant inside as .the seeds of potential genius The ancient Vedic civilization of India offered a culture and lifestyle that facilitated whole-brain learning. Much of this wisdom remains unavailable today for the common man. In Nithyananda Gurukul it has been brought back to life, and is being used to create an education system for the .21st century

We Need A Million Sannyasis!
In the short decade since his advent into public life, H. H. Paramahamsa Nithyananda has come to be recognized as a clear, legitimate, apolitical voice of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. As the Mahamandaleshwar of Mahanirvani Peeth (Hinduism’s oldest apex body) and the 293rd pontiff of Madurai Aadheenam (the world’s oldest living Hindu establishment), he is rapidly becoming one of the powerful voices influencing Indian philosophical thought. Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s vision of a Vedic Hindu renaissance for India includes a revival of the sannyas (monastic) system of the country. Himself a sannyasi, he has succeeded in turning the youth towards this extraordinary path that brings together rapid self-actualization and authentic social .responsibility The sannyas (renunciate) order created by Nithyananda has been drawing youth from all parts of the world. Educated young men and women with a bright future in the corporate world are dropping everything to tread the time-honored path of self-realization. Equally at ease with their japamalas (rosaries) and their laptops, this unusual breed of youngsters exemplify a life that seamlessly blends the best of both worlds. Thanks to Nithyananda’s efforts, the Vedic concept of sannyas is once again becoming a viable option for modern educated youth who wish to pursue their own spiritual growth while making a .difference in the world To create a space for people who want to pursue spirituality while fulfilling their family duties, Nithyananda has also instituted the ‘rishi order’ in the ashram, where families can live and serve on the campus. The rishis of Vedic India were married, with husband and wife supporting each other on the spiritual path, while imparting the right spiritual education and tools for conscious living to their children. The rishi order is a welcome change from the practice in traditional ashrams, where married couples have to wait till the completion of all family .duties before embracing the spiritual life The ashram also runs a ‘gurukul’ (literally meaning ‘family of the guru’), a Vedic-style learning center for children where education is holistic and needbased. The Gurukul guides children to blossom into integrated individuals, spiritually anchored .high-achievers and responsible global citizens The whole of India has been built by sannyasis. All the best things have been contributed to the Vedic tradition by sannyasis, whether it is our architecture, art, culture or language; everything, everything, everything! All the best things we have are from sannyasis. Please understand, ten lakh sadhus used to be Shaastra Dhaari sannyasis, which means they were masters of spiritual knowledge, masters of the science of enlightenment, ‘Jeevanmukti’, and were .teaching it all over the world In recent morning satsangs, Paramahamsa Nithyananda shared his vision for sannyas and gave the clarion call for the youth to take up this extraordinary .lifestyle
Be The Cause For The Change :I want to remind you of these words If you change after the change, you will .survive If you change along with the .change, you will succeed
Sannyas Takes You To Your Peak Possibility Please understand, the patterns you created, the incompletions you have accumulated from time immemorial - you need at least one birth to complete them, one birth to be free of them. Whatever is said and done, when there is any other priority in life, the completion doesn’t happen to the ultimate level. There are various levels of completion. If you have a good relationship with others, you think it is completion. But that is only one level of completion. Many times, people get settled with that level of completion. Just removing mental chaos and confusion does not mean you have achieved the ultimate. Just having good relationships and a friendly atmosphere - that alone is not the ultimate peak possibility .of human life Completion should happen in your being to the level where you complete with the very incompletion which started the birth and death cycle in you! Please understand, having completion on your laundry list is the life of the common man. Having completion as the first priority on your laundry list is the life of a seeker. Having completion as the ONLY !priority is the life of a sannyasi
If you cause the change, you will .lead
Be the cause for the change, because the change is !happening now Be the cause of change in some form. If you are unmarried, take sannyas. If you are married, at least see to it that you give one child to sannyas. This is not for me, !but for humanity, for your own life Understand, sannyas is going to be the greatest revival of integrated Hindu intelligence. This is the only way we are going to stop the suicides, drugs and death. The only way we are going to stop the depression, the destruction! Sannyas not only completes you, but you also become an instrument for people to achieve completion through you, for humanity to reach completion. Decide to evolve. Your decision to evolve, your declaration, ‘I am evolving, I am liberating myself from all the delusions and illusions’, is sannyas. Let us take the responsibility to enrich the world .through sannyas
After Shankara, the Hindu Philosopher, there was never“ an open, public discussion or invitation to become a sannyasi in the Hindu tradition. Now, for the first time in around 2,500 years, I am going to systematically expand on all the different aspects and dimensions of sannyas. .Listen - I am opening the doors of sannyas for all of you We need shaastradhaaris, intellectual teachers and preachers, who will go all around the world to teach the science of completion, who will teach the Science of Enlightenment. How much can I alone contribute, sitting in one corner of the world? We need at least a million .sannyasis, ten lakh (one million) sannyasis Sannyas is the lifestyle of completion. Sannyas is the lifestyle of living in the space of completion and enriching everyone to be in the space of completion. Sannyas is the way spiritual knowledge is realized in an individual’s life. When I talk about sannyas, people immediately ask the question, ‘What will happen to the world if everybody ’?becomes sannyasis Please be very clear, first of all everyone in the world is not that intelligent! Second, God has not given you that !responsibility; He knows how to expand the world The purpose of human life is to experience total fulfilment, or ‘completion’. To work, radiate, and shower others with that same space of completion. This is the first and foremost goal of life. Be established in the space of completion, and go on helping everyone around you to reach the space of completion.. In no other lifestyle can you live in completion, and go on inspiring people to be .in the space of completion
Is Your Life Just For Survival? See, a common middle-class man spends almost 90% of his life just on food, shelter, and clothes. Almost one-third of his life goes in sleeping. In the remaining two-thirds, twentyfive years go to get education for food, clothing and shelter. When you start making all that, you are already fifty, waiting for death! So, a large part of your life disappears in just trying to get food, shelter and clothes! Now come on! Start moving to the next level! Come out of the rut of that basic survival .need Let us raise human-beings consciously to the next level. Human-beings need to be told about the next possibility! It is time human-beings learn the Science of completion, .human-beings learn the Science of Living Enlightenment Sannyas is aligning your thinking to the ultimate possibility, aligning your thinking to the ultimate reality. Awakening all the different powers in you is sannyas. Awakening all the various powers in you, awakening all the various possibilities in you, awakening all the various understandings in you, awakening all the various realizations in you, awakening all the various goals in you is sannyas. Please understand, awakening you to !you is sannyas. Awakening you to you is sannyas
