Ho una visione del combattimento assolutamente antica. Faccio Arti Marziali da quando ho 12 anni. Io non ho il carattere adatto. Non mi so difendere da nessuno ma ne ho conosciuti parecchi dai quali nessuno saprebbe difendersi. Ho imparato che dietro (e davanti) ad ogni pugno c’è una persona. Non parlo di bestie da terza elementare che adesso si gonfiano di botte in campionati che si chiamano come tasse statali. Parlo di persone che facevano dell’Arte del Pugno anche la loro filosofia di vita. Un codice morale. Atleti che ti stringevano la mano con la stessa attenzione con la quale ti regalavano una tecnica. L’assurdo è che l’avversario devi rispettarlo, ma gli devi anche fare male. È una misura paradossale che devi imparare. Come la distanza. Te la insegnano nella boxe, ma è importante anche nella vita. Rispetto e distanza. Menare non basta. Ci vuole la persona dietro. Le Arti Marziali, come tutte le arti, sono un lavoro artigianale e bisogna amarle. La Forza è una forma di amore. E come l’Amore è da crescere e allenare.

Mi chiamo Nicolò, sono nato a Faenza e ho 24 anni. Mi sono laureato in disegno industriale al politecnico di Milano, ma grafica 3d e disegno tecnico non mi hanno mai affascinato troppo. Mi sono sempre piaciuti i fumetti e ho sempre adorato disegnare. Ho incontrato Maurizio Rosenzweig, che mi ha dato fiducia e insegnato. Ho debuttato in questo mondo da pochissimo, con Edizioni BD. “Kendo, “Il cammino della spada”, esprime l’essenza delle arti di combattimento giapponesi. Dal suo primo governo, durante il periodo Kamakura (1185-1233), l’utilizzo della spada, insieme all’equitazione e il tiro con l’arco, sono stati tra i maggiori interessi nella preparazione militare dei diversi clan che si contendevano il territorio. Il kendo si sviluppò sotto una forte influenza del buddismo zen, per cui il samurai sentiva l’indifferenza della propria vita nel bel mezzo della battaglia, la quale era considerata necessaria per la vittoria nei combattimenti individuali. A partire da quei tempi molti guerrieri sono stati rappresentati nella pratica del kendo, gli stessi che costituirono le prime scuole tra cui Itto-Ryu (scuola della spada unica) e il Muto (scuola senza spada). Oggi al posto delle katane si usano delle spade di legno, i bokken, per i katà, mentre per gli esercizi comuni si usa lo shinai (composto di quattro stecche di bambù) e si indossa una robusta armatura (bogu). Concetti come il Mushin o “mente vuota” sono diffusi dal buddismo zen e sono l’essenza del kendo.”

I made my debut in this little world, with BD editions. “Kendo, “The path of the sword“, expresses the essence of Japanese fighting arts. From his first government, during the Kamakura period (1185-1233), the use of the sword, along with horse riding and archery, were among the major interests in the military preparedness of the different clans vying for territory. Kendo developed under strong influence of Zen Buddhism, the Samurai felt that the indifference of his life in the midst of the battle, which was considered necessary for victory in combat individuali. A from that time many warriors were represented in the practice of kendo, the ones who were the first schools to Itto-ryu (school of the sword only) and Mute (school without a sword). Today, instead of using the katana sword of wood, bokken for the kata, while for the joint exercises using the shinai (made of four bamboo sticks) and robust wearing armor (bogu). Concepts such as Mushin or “empty mind” from Zen Buddhism are widespread and are the essence of kendo. “
