LOOKING BACK LOOKING FORWARD BASTILLE DAY Liberté!
Egalité!
Fraternité!
Puentes joined the final Bastille Day celebrations that are annually held at the Eastern State Penitentiary. We helped give Marie Antoinette a proper sendoff, capping off 24 years of celebration. The Bearded Ladies performed a drag cabaret reenactment of the French Revolution, which included 2,000 butterscotch krimpets raining down from the penitentiary’s towers as Marie Antoinette delivered her infamous line: “Let them eat Tastykake!” Photo (Right): Tabling at Bastille Day Celebration
