Kyle Cease – Interview by Victor Fuhrman
Kyle Cease - I Hope I Screw This Up: How Falling in Love with Your Fears Can Change the World How often have you mused about your career or non-career, your relationships or perceived a lack of relationships or those things you felt missing from your life and thought, "When this happens, I will be happy"? Kyle Cease said he came to the realization, after 25 years of building a headlining comedy and acting career, that, "When this happens, I will be happy," is a complete lie.
OMTIMES.COM
He quit his stand-up career and had a transformation of his life. Kyle is a keynote speaker transforming audiences through his unique blend of comedy and transformation. He's been a guest speaker at colleges, summits, and Fortune 500 conferences, including Agape International, Gate Revelations, Sun Valley Wellness Festival, Sedona World Wisdom Days, and the Longevity Now Conference, among others. In addition to leading his own Evolving Out Loud live events, he's spoken with renowned teachers, such as Eckhart Tolle, Jim Carrey, Michael Beckwith, Louis C.K, Tony Robbins, Deepak Chopra, Bob Proctor, David Wolfe, and thousands more. He said, if Eckhart Tolle and Jim Carrey had a baby, that baby could be Kyle Cease. Before being a transformative speaker, Kyle was a headlining comedian for 25 years with two number one Comedy Central specials. In 2009, he earned a number one ranking on the network's stand-up showdown. He has been in more than 100 different television and movies, including "Ten Things I Hate About You," "Not Another Teen Movie," "The Jimmy Kimmel Show," "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," "Chelsea Lately," "Martin Short Show," "Comics Unleased," and numerous VH1 shows. He joins us to share his brand-new book, I Hope I Screw This Up: How Falling in Love OMTIMES.COM
with Your Fears Can Change the World. Evolving Out Loud with Kyle Cease
Kyle Cease: Wow. Thank you. Whenever someone introduces me like that, I don't even know, I can think of to the audience is just, "Lower your expectations." We've got to level the playing field now. That was very, very nice. That's amazing. You make me feel like I'm doing something. Victor Fuhrman: You're doing something great, and you're doing it both with humor and real humanity, and I think that's something we could desperately use in our world today. The need to laugh, the gift of laughter, but also the gift of being human, and I think so many of us try not to be, for some reason or another, and that's what we're going to talk about.
Kyle Cease: Well, it's so funny you say that because, for years, I was a stand-up comic, and then, I shifted from the transformational world. And what I discovered was, in comedy--a lot of times comedy is cynical about life. You're making fun of what is. And so, there was kind of a darkness often attached to comedy. So, you'd be very skeptical about life, and you'd make fun of it. And then, you go to the transformation world, and you're totally accepting the world. And everything is totally possible, but it's not funny. So, for me, I was kind of like, "We need a balance between lazy and crazy." I love the idea of comedy and transformation combining because I used to go to transformational events where they'd have you sit under a tree for seven days. I would make a joke, and they'd stop everything and be like, "Please, we're trying to be happy." I'm like, "I know. But, that's why I made the joke." And they're like, "Please, we have a six-day process where we need to bring up every horrible thing that happened so we can release it. Does everybody have weird necklaces?" So, I found that comedy also just gets you right at the moment. We're supposed to have fun and play too at the same time. It's like, "Take yourself
OMTIMES.COM
much more seriously and much less seriously at the exact same time." Victor Fuhrman: So, you never had that feeling that many people have in the comedy field that your success or failure was predicated on making people laugh?
Kyle Cease: I think that specific thought didn't occur to me because I was so fascinated by watching standup, and I also was a musician too. I played four instruments and sang. I think I just heard comedy timing when I watched comedians as a child, and I just understood without realizing it until later. People would say, "Wow, that delivery or that pacing," and I didn't think of it on that technical side. It just was natural to me to understand. You say it into a microphone, and, within a few seconds, they're laughing, and you learn how to pause for a beat, not in a technical aspect. But, your body just picked it up because, as I was only watching comedy, that was what they did. So, it was like learning a language by living in that country. So, it's just a second nature thing for me. Victor Fuhrman: I've never thought of comedy the same way you're describing music because music, as we know, is based on mathematics, and timing in comedy, obviously now that you're saying it is based on mathematics.
Kyle Cease: Sure. There's a feeling that it's almost like a control over the audience, a way that you can lean forward on a joke or you say one thing a little bit louder. Or you create a pause in a certain way or if you fake a mistake and create the illusion of spontaneity and then go with that, so they think you're in and also truly by being truly spontaneous too. What I really believe is that, when we discover we are the moment, it constantly wants to express itself through you with that type of timing. And it naturally knows that timing way better than figuring out, "How do I get that kind of timing?" There are all these seminars out there, and there are all these different things where they teach you, "I'm going to show you how to create a business and how to do this." And, if you hear how to do it, you're just doing what they did, and you're not bringing what's unique about you. That would be like you learning how to write a song from Michael Jackson, and he just says, "Write 'Billie Jean.' That's what I did." And you're not writing what you feel. But, what we really need to learn is what we naturally have inside of ourselves that show up when we stop trying to do things technically but learn how to listen what our body wants because it wants to unfold something magic all the time. And we OMTIMES.COM
never hear it because we're so busy trying to be like everyone else. Victor Fuhrman: In your book, I Hope I Screw This Up, you talked about the feeling of excitement when you get a thought or an idea that you know you have to pursue.
Kyle Cease: Yes, and I have kind of a magical story about that. I don't know if you need to go to break. But, I can tell you after it on how I actually discovered that feeling and how it transformed every aspect of my life, my career, my impact, my health, my relationships, my income. Everything just naturally changed from following the highest excitement feeling in my body. Well, one thing I think we've had a voice that we've had in us for years that just tells you. And that voice can only tell you the next step. It can't tell you the entire thing. That would be like a GPS telling you the next 20 directions versus the next turn. And the way that GPS works are it tells you the next turn, and it can't tell you more information until you do it. And we all have that one same feeling in our body that just tells us the next step. It's the voice that says, "Ask that person out," or, "Leave this company," or "Go to an island right now," or, "Start writing a book" or whatever. It's just the next step. So, we have this feeling, and, when you
hear that voice, you almost always can feel it in a deeper place in your body. Now, here's the thing. That really excited feeling includes a lot of amazing specific things that you can't see that it's trying to give you. And your job is to follow the feeling and prove to yourself that you're in the alignment and ready for the magic that's going to happen by stepping into it. So, in other words, if you're in a relationship that you're not happy with, you are only saying to yourself, "I'm holding onto this because I don't believe that I'm safe." It's not until I let go of this that I prove to myself that I'm safe. But, if you're holding onto something that doesn't feel good, you're saying to yourself, "I'm not safe," and life throws you as many problems as possible because you're saying to yourself, "I'm out of my alignment." And so, when we said yes to the theater and then the radio show, they said, "Okay, yeah. We'll put you in the air, and we'll fill the room for you." The 200-seat theater that we went after took too long to get back to us. So, I took that as a red light from the universe on that specific theater, and we found another theater that was 1,400 seats that were way, way, way cheaper and said, "We'll do it." And
OMTIMES.COM
so, for very cheap, we got this theater, and immediately 1,000 seats were already filled. So, our job suddenly became to fill 400 more seats. And here's the most ironic thing. It was so much easier to fill a giant theater than a small one because we were so excited about it, because we were so passionate. Victor Fuhrman: What you're describing to me is intuitive and natural and spiritual marketing.
Kyle Cease: Well, it's so funny how much people go to learn to market, and they learn to do all these things. But, what we don't understand is, when we step into our highest excitement, it will market itself. It will make a video that suddenly gets 100 million views and fill the room naturally on its own. You talk from a passion that's so high that you talk from your heart, and the people listening have to bypass their own fear and go to their heart to hear you. And, when anyone hears you speak from your heart and they go into their heart, they immediately want to co-create with you or work with you because the highest asset we have is our connection to ourselves. People think the highest asset they have is money. But, the highest connection you have with yourself can help you make more money, which doesn't matter anyway. But, you also lose a ton of money
spending on addictions and stuff because you're in your element, and you're the highest thing you have is your highest excitement at the moment. And, when you're in that, you don't need a bunch of addictions. You don't need to keep holding onto things that don't sustain you or fulfill you. Victor Fuhrman: You know, you're talking about true authenticity. And in I Hope I Screw This Up, you mention that we need to be truly authentic with one another. Where does that inauthenticity gene come from?
Kyle Cease: I think we've trained ourselves that we're always in a place of lack. So, we need to say whatever we need to say to get something. And very few people actually say the thing they're thinking, and they don't understand that, if they said that, they would open so many more doors for themselves in life. So, for instance, if I got on an elevator, and a woman I'm really attracted to walks on the elevator, immediately what we think is, "I'm trying to think of something to say to this person." Now, what if you looked at the person and just said, "I'm trying to think of something to say to you." That's the truth. That's so open and authentic. Now, some women might not like that. They might leave. Well, good. I'm glad you said your truth so that you'll only create a space to align
OMTIMES.COM
with the right people that align with your truth. Most of us don't say the thing we're thinking. We instead say what we think people want to hear. Victor Fuhrman: Does that come from our addiction to receiving approval from others?
Kyle Cease: I think it comes from the illusion that we're not loved as is. I spent a lot of last years--I sat every morning for about two hours a day and just sat with my eyes closed. So, I don't even like to call it meditation. I just sat and listened to my mind go crazy and come up with all these different thoughts. And I just became the space for those thoughts, and I realized that all those fear based thoughts were lies. I'm the one that's the space of love that's looking at those thoughts. And when I really learned that, I started to realize that I'm not in lack without anything and that I'm complete. From that place, I was able to speak so much more authentically and create a space for much more authentic people to show up in my life who also did that kind of work. And so, if you don't do that work, you're under the constant illusion that you're in a place of lack, which makes everything outside of you just an
addition to fill that false hole that you think you have. We've created a bunch of friends that, when we get near them, we talk about our problems more than our possibilities. I mean, in a general sense. It's scary. But, we don't understand there's a whole other group of friends also that want to support you in your power, that support you in your greatness, that will say thank you. In fact, many of the reasons why you think you can't step into your greatness are, in my opinion, the reason that we have to. So, for instance, if you're like, "I really want to give my gift and go to that island and go write my book. But, I have a kid." To me, that's all the more reason to step into your power and show your child that they can be invincible and powerful and infinite too. I don't know what the universe or God necessarily specifically is on that level. But, I always thought that you could see the creative universe as a
human being, and you could see that it's physically abandoning you every time you come up with why you can't do something, your fear of abandonment would suddenly make you infinite. Victor Fuhrman: In your book, you say that addictions are the vices we use to keep us from connecting with our true selves or souls.
Kyle Cease: I believe very much that it's normal to see alcoholism, drugs, overeating as an addiction. We have commercials for that. If you--parents who use drugs have kids who use kids. This is your brain on scrambled or whatever the commercial was. And then, we don't realize that there are other addictions. Controlling people is an addiction. Worrying is an addiction. Stopping-just coming up with why things aren't possible is an addiction. And the reason is that it's also just anything that stops you from connecting to the infinite flow of what you are. And I really believe, on a then core level, that we're not even addicted to things. What we're addicted to is thinking, being in the past and the future. And we're addicted to that because we're ignoring our calling. So, if you hear a calling in your body that says, "Go do this thing," and you ignore it, now your mind has to make sense of why you're not doing it. I
OMTIMES.COM
have a rule with myself that, if I'm justifying why I'm keeping something, then it's not my highest thing. Victor Fuhrman: I've got to say, your book is not only inspiring, but it's really funny. And it's truly a fearless reflection of your mind that's like a stream of consciousness. Did anyone try to talk you out of that style?
Kyle Cease: I don't think so. I think people really liked that I was saying that. I don't believe that me coming across as--I don't believe in being a guru. So, I think that it's our job to present our problems too and our challenges and remind people that we're all--we all have these things and not try to be someone that has the answers that I'm looking for them as I go. But, I think the first thing to say is that I was totally freaking out when I wrote chapter one, and I delayed it for three years. And I kept trying to start over, and I kept thinking, "Oh, if I brought a friend and if I do it over here" --so, finally, the beginning of chapter one, my truth was, "I'm scared to death." So, I just started telling them that, and that started freeing me. And no one just says the thing they're thinking. If you're nervous, say you're nervous. The audience goes, "I know what nervous feels like, and I can connect with you." So, it's just so much easier than we think it is. And, instead of
OMTIMES.COM
trying to write the right book to get sales, I just shared exactly what I was thinking and wrote it like it was a diary. Victor Fuhrman: Authentic, real, and funny. It's called, I Hope I Screw This Up: How Falling in Love with Your Fears Can Change the World. Kyle Cease, please tell our about you're "Evolving Out Loud" presentations that are coming up.
Kyle Cease: Yes, they can get it anywhere because I'm thrilled to say it's doing really well. So, they can get it at Amazon. They can go to Barnes and Noble. They can get it at any bookstore, and you can also go to KyleCease.com. So, KyleCease.com/book, and you can see a two-hour concert film like a movie for free. If you buy the book, you can type the order number into the website, and we give you instantly a two-hour movie from my talks with my shifting someone who hadn't been in a relationship for years and all these different things. So, they can go there. And then, "Evolving Out Loud" is our event where we go on tour all the time. We're going to be in New York, Milwaukee, Austin, Seattle, LA, everywhere. It's all over the place.
Empower Girls Break the Cycle of Dependence
The number one reason girls drop out of school in Sub-Saharan Africa is lack of access to feminine hygiene products. The Pads for Schoolgirls Project, an outreach of Humanity Healing International, is changing this paradigm by setting up sewing programs at schools, teaching girls a vocational skill, while producing the reusable pads that help keep them attending classes. The girls pay it forward by making and giving pad kits to other girls in need. To learn more, visit humanityhealing.org

Health by the Numbers by Carl Greer PhD PsyD
Do You Know Your Health Numbers? How do your health numbers look? When a nurse tells you what your blood pressure is, or when you step on a scale, does the number affect your outlook for the day? Measuring health by the numbers has its pros and cons.
Omtimes.com
Health apps and activity trackers are popular in part because we all tend to look to numbers to tell us how to feel about our health. Are you doing well or showing improvement? A weight gain of a pound or two or “bad” numbers on a medical test can awaken you to the need to change your health habits, which is good. But you might emphasize numbers too much and end up feeling demoralized by them instead of inspired to change. You might end up not looking at your health numbers at all. Numbers to Track Success and Progress Big changes can be very difficult, but you can set small goals and establish new habits so as to experience less stress and better health and wellness. Numbers can help. You could eliminate a second glass of wine with dinner, and skip wine altogether three nights a week, and watch your numbers on the scale change. When you get into your car to drive to or from work, you could consciously
choose to meditate for several minutes before starting your engine and, over time through meditation, retrain your brain and even reshape it to be less emotionally reactive to potentially stressful situations. You could walk in nature for a few minutes a day, thereby lowering your levels of the stress hormone cortisol and boosting your immunity, even as your mood lifts from being outdoors. You could set a goal to walk 10,000 steps at least once a week, or 8,500 steps three times a week, and when that goal has been met, increase it slightly. Making Health Numbers Work in Your Favor One way to make numbers work in your favor is to record them whenever you look at lab tests results or your activity tracker’s or scale’s display. Notice what is your most common range of numbers. Maybe, instead of becoming upset that you gained two pounds, you will see that your weight fluctuates. And, due to changes you have
Omtimes.com
made in your daily habits, your range of weight is two pounds less than it was before, and you never hit that top number. Maybe, you can track how many days you met your goal of sticking to your new healthy habit, instead of obsessing about not having reached the number you are seeking. If when tracking your health by the numbers you become frustrated by your slow progress, you might track different measures, such as how many days a month you met your goal. This week, you might do better than last week. Smaller Victories Inspire Bigger Ones Also, why not pay closer attention to how it feels when you meet your goal? Small victories can inspire bigger ones. Minor setbacks can simply awaken you to the need to figure out how you got off track, and your insights can help you get back on track and stay there. If your downfall is longing for a reward after a long, hard day, maybe you can find a better one than a glass of wine before dinner or a
Omtimes.com
bowl of ice cream before bed. If you have become obsessed with your numbers, keep in mind that they are just representations of health. They are not you. Don’t over-identify with your health numbers and write a story for your health called, “I’m a failure because I can’t get those numbers to budge.” When you find your moods are affected by your numbers being “good” or “bad,” you might be giving them too much influence over you. Do your numbers matter, or do you simply need to go about the business of living healthfully and improving your habits? Lose the Obsession with Health Numbers How can you move from obsession with the numbers to focusing on other issues regarding your health and feel more relaxed as you go about your activities of livingincluding the actions you take to change your health habits? You might start by writing a new health story for yourself that goes beyond achieving certain numbers. Your new health story could be:
I am strong in my body, and it supports me in all I choose to do. Sometimes I do not reach my exercise goals, but I choose not to worry and instead, simply try again tomorrow. I have noticed I have habits that don’t serve my health, and I am changing them. I am optimistic about my potential for significant changes for the better. How would it feel to free yourself from the tyranny of judging your health by the numbers and, instead, create a new relationship with them? What would it be like if you were to say, “I’m just not going to pay attention to the numbers for a while”? Liberate Yourself from Checking Your Numbers If this makes you nervous, you are not alone. You may need to work on trusting yourself more, and you may need to explore why you struggle with changing health habits or with perfectionism. Try liberating yourself from checking your
numbers for a while if it will not pose an immediate threat to your health. Journal about how you feel during this experiment. Pay attention to how your body feels. You might find it is giving you the message, “Don’t worry so much! Stop obsessing and lighten up!” If so, think about how you might monitor your numbers without creating stress while doing it. Health numbers are simply a means to help you decide what you want to change about your health habits and what you want to keep doing. For a better story of your health, consider having a different relationship with those numbers.

Are You Ready to Leave Your Comfort Zone? by John Holland
Cruising Out of One’s Comfort Zone... The concept of getting out of one’s comfort zone really came to light on a recent cruise. I was one of the many speakers, and each one of us had a topic to share such as; mediumship and the afterlife, the power of
Omtimes.com
love and forgiveness, energy healing, astrology, psychic ability, sound healing, angels, medical intuition, yoga and so many more! The energy of the people, the speakers and of course the beautiful waters of the western Caribbean and port destinations just made the whole experience truly magical! What I noticed on the cruise was that many people came with family; some came with friends who were of like-mind, while many others traveled and attended the conference by themselves. I asked: “What and why brought them on this cruise?” There were many reasons why people attended, from interest in certain speakers of a topic, a chance to get away on a learning vacation, while others that I asked came because they just felt they needed to attend. I applauded them all as I knew that some of the attendees had come by themselves, having never traveled alone, whereas some had never stepped on a plane or cruise ship, and others just simply knew they needed to do something different by breaking out of their comfort zone.
Experience of Learning Something New At the end of the cruise, I heard from many people that not only did they enjoy the cruise, the weather and destinations, and the speakers and lectures, but they learned new tools to take back to their daily lives. Also, I’m happy to report that the (many) people who came by themselves found new friends that were of like-mind and will stay in contact with each other long after the cruise becomes a distant memory. You never know how one person, a group, or a new experience can change ones’ life! Take a chance, trust synchronicity - it could be the one thing you do that sets the tone for the rest of your life!
JOHN’S LESSON Do something totally different that you’ve never done before. Break out of your day-to-day routine, and expand yourself beyond your comfort zone. No matter how safe it might feel to remain exactly where you are, it’s important to occasionally stretch yourself.
Omtimes.com
It could be a meditation or prayer group, salsa-dance lessons, a book club, an art class, or even a pottery workshop. Once, I took a cooking class at a local kitchen store just as a way of meeting some new people. Not only did I laugh a lot, but I also got to meet some really interesting, diverse people. I also had a great time and learned how to prepare a new dish! I’m never going to be a gourmet chef, but that didn’t matter. If there’s a subject, class workshop, or hobby that you keep repeatedly saying to yourself: “I really want to do that!” or “I always wanted to try that!” Then trust that your intuition and soul are trying to encourage you to take that next step. If the thought keeps coming back, then I urge you to at least investigate the thing that’s sparking your interest. Reaching Beyond Our Comfort Zone, We Find Friendship So many people say, “But I hate going to those things alone!” or, “How will taking a class help me?” When I
Omtimes.com
went to this cooking class, everyone came by themselves. It was a way of reaching out and bonding with others in a safe, fun, and educational environment. If you’re nervous about going somewhere alone, stop and say to yourself: “Wherever I go, there will be friends there.” It really works and takes the edge off those feelings of nervousness. You never know what’s going to happen or whom you’re going to meet and become friends with. Once again, it’s a way of reaching out. At the very least, you’re taking the first steps in stepping forward in a whole new and hopefully exciting direction. Give it a try; you never know where breaking free from your comfort zone will take you. Live a Soul-filled life! Knowing the Soulful Intentions of the Spiritual Mind by Judi Lynch
Intentions in Tune with Unconditional Love One thing that remains a constant in the spirit seeking mind is intention. Intention has power when we put it into action. If our intentions
Omtimes.com
are heart-felt and in tune with unconditional love and non-judgment it creates an incredible energy of beauty and grace. We can physically feel the healing it brings in. When our senses are telling us otherwise, we know it’s a sign that we need to ask more questions. Many of us have been inspired by certain people throughout our lives. Some of them are in our families, our circle of friends or are famous in the media for different reasons. We look to others for guidance, seeking answers to our life challenges and reaching out for support. As we evolve, those inspirations can change. If we can intuitively read the intentions of those around us, we learn our limits spiritually, morally and ethically. Good Intentions in Spite of the Bad Ones Good intentions don’t always mean everything is working
in tune or everything will turn out fine but they are the key to doing the right thing. Not just because it’s the right thing but because the right thing is a part of you. That very part of you is the key in knowing the intentions of others. We now live in a world of false news, reality, and people. Inside of this falseness is the intention to hurt others in different ways. Anytime material gain, financial domination, and greed are at work - it started with a thought of bad intent. Being aware of this side of humanity is the key to changing and charging the energy back to positive intention. So, if we examine our reactions to our life situations will they match our intentions? If our intention is to live a happy, purposeful life with respect and love for others then our actions should coincide. We
Omtimes.com
can tell each other that the world is a fearful, lonely, scary place our minds will create a scenario of hopelessness. If we feed the positive, empowering, and nurturing thought process it stands to reason that eventually we create the energy of soulful, positive intent and manifestation. Hidden Intent Can Be Manipulative Intent can be hidden behind smiles, compliments, gifts and promises. It can invade your good heart with regret over trusting someone you shouldn’t have. At the same time, people can surprise us with just how good and selfless their intentions can be. It’s hard for us to believe sometimes there is no hidden motive when a service or kindness is given. Our hearts can choose to grow bigger or bitter because of our experiences. The universal source of creation is there to help you
Omtimes.com
bring your best intentions into reality. The thought process helps to determine what you will manifest. Your very spirit is a calm and peaceful force filled with intuitive assistance and loving, healing energy. When you bring yourself into that energy, no matter what you are feeling, or what is going on around you, you can bring in the intention of living in blissful presence. Whenever we can react with non-judgment of others and ourselves instead of ego and hurt feelings we call in the forces necessary to transform and transmute challenging situations into healing. Gather Strength with Soulful Intentions We can rewire our thinking into taking control and consciously creating lives of purpose without playing the role of victim by every thought and action we send out. As we create new reactions to our life
situations, we set in motion a new pattern of positivity which helps us make better decisions and bounce back easier after facing adversity. If we intend that we will succeed, we learn to avoid those pitfalls we may have succumbed to in the past. We learn not to compare ourselves to others. We can then understand how unique every soul on Earth is and honor our special skills, paths, and decisions with integrity and respect instead of mistrust or jealousy. Soulful Intentions Mix with Universal Energies When we gather our strength of spiritual will and evolve ourselves into co-creating with universal energies, we are free. We don’t need approval from others when we root our sense of self in acceptance and unconditional love. Empathy has a place to shine. There is no competition or greed when we live life
with soulful intent. There is a wave of peace that overrides the need to control or to always be right. Surrendering those type of thoughts with peace brings in answers and insights to your life’s deepest questions. We are always learning, healing, reaching out to help while reaching inward for strength when we offer our pure, soulful intentions with compassion and love. Mindfulness Meditation or Presence? by Sunanda Sharma
Defining Mindfulness Can Deepen Understanding What is mindfulness? As the renowned psychologists Jon Kabat-Zinn’s defines it as: “Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way; On purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally.”
Omtimes.com
A very crisp definition and yet very profound! It is all about being ‘present’ unruffled. The basic premise of mindfulness is ‘absorbing everything tangible and intangible’ around you. It is not a ritualistic meditation practice, while deep and intense in its own way. Overcoming Difficulties to Be More Mindful In today’s chaotic world one may find it difficult to be mindful. There is also a simple exercise to become mindful. All you have to do is sit in a place, preferably in a garden, and access all your senses. Visual - Rest your attention on everything you see. You can hold your head still or gently move it to look around. Take the world in with your eyes. Initially, you may want to use your mobile or look at your watch but soon, you will begin to notice details you did not realize were there (the slight movement of the leaves in the breeze, tiny bugs around). If your mind wanders off into
thoughts, when you notice it has happened, return to taking in all that you see-shapes, colors, movements. Hearing - Now, also do the same with your hearing. You can close your eyes if you are in a place where you can just sit and listen to the sounds around without getting disturbed. Take in all that you hear. You will be pleasantly surprised with the sounds in the neighborhood! As Buddha said, “In hearing, only hearing.” Use Physical Awareness and Experiences Body Sensations - With your eyes open or closed, move to bodily sensations. The first thing you will notice is the sensation of air coming in and going out of the nostrils. This is an interesting exercise, one can hear even the tiniest twitch in the body. If you wish you can focus your attention to different parts of your body and feel it. Experience all - Now, open

your eyes if they’ve been closed and, take a few deep breaths. While breathing intake in sights, sounds, bodily sensations, any tastes in your mouth or odors you might smell, any thoughts or emotions arising in the mind. And slowly and deeply breathe out. The Benefits of Mindfulness Let’s look at the benefits of mindfulness and why being mindful enhances all areas of one’s life. Focus - It helps in eliminating procrastination and building focus. Stress reduction - It helps in reducing day to day stress Boosting memory - It will help in fine tuning one’s memory and enhancing one’s performance. Healthy relationships Several studies find that a person’s ability to be mindful can help predict relationship satisfaction - the ability to
Omtimes.com
respond well to relationship stress and the skill in communicating one’s emotions to a partner. Empirical evidence suggests that mindfulness protects against the emotionally stressful effects of relationship conflict. Better Health - Consistent practice of mindfulness also affects one’s health in a positive manner. An experiment was carried out on a team of workers engaged in a weekly meditation class led by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Following the eight-week class, researchers hooked up the participants to an EEG machine to record their brain activity. The team gave participants flu shots and then took blood samples. The people who participated in the meditation class showed changes in their brain function associated with well-being and resilience. They also showed ‘improved response to vaccine’. Empathy - As one is open and aware, one becomes more empathetic. This again solidifies human bond.
Compassion - One can deal with any situation in life from the eyes of compassion rather than being judgmental.
decisions. Managers who model and promote mindful practices with their teams create an environment of engagement.
Tolerance - It helps in attaining a good amount of tolerance level. Instead of being reactive one becomes more tolerant and forgiving.
Several well-known and respected organizations have long recognized the benefits that mindfulness brings. Google prides itself on being socially conscious, offering mindfulness meditation to its employees as part of ‘learning and development’ programs. So, immerse yourself in the ‘present’ and swim the sea of life effortlessly!
Acceptance of things as they are - One can accept everything happening in life from the eyes of a watch keeper rather than from the eyes of a victim. Mindful Leadership and Making Wise Decisions As a leadership strategy, mindfulness helps people to be more effective by directing focus to the most pertinent task at hand. Deprogramming multitasking tendencies and intentionally focusing one’s full attention results in higher quality interactions and decisions. Mindful decisionmakers take the time to consider all their options, and therefore make more informed

Say “yes” to life-and see how life suddenly starts working for you rather than against you.” About the Author Sunanda Sharma is a professional tarot reader, psychic, life coach and a published author. Aromatherapy and Meditation Can Be a Supportive Combination Meditation is a good practice for better mental health, physical stability and emotional balance. Aromatherapy can also be
Omtimes.com
a great addition to your meditation practice. Here are some tips for first-time aromatherapy practitioners. The ancient practice of meditation is a powerful habit that helps to enhance your physical and emotional health, and it’s simple to do. Meditation on its own is a great way to balance your emotional and mental health with physical well-being. When you combine meditation with aromatherapy, it can improve your focus and concentration. In addition, it can even help to reduce stress and anxiety. With aromatherapy meditation, you can improve your coping skills when faced with challenging situation or health problems. Adding aromatherapy enhances the main aspects of meditation, focusing and relaxing and essential oils are a convenient way to effectively add scents to your meditation sessions.
Essential Oil Scents for Meditation You can use any essential oil with a scent that resonates with you. Some of the more popular scents for meditation and aromatherapy are: • lavender (calming effects) • sage (cleansing effects) • peppermint (for mental focus) • rosemary (reduces anxiety) • eucalyptus (helps clear airways) • frankincense (reduces irritation) • neroli (helps healthy blood flow) Essential Oils Basics Make sure the essential oils you choose are organic, natural essential oils. Some are concentrated. This is great for a good scent, but can irritate the skin if you don’t mix them first with a natural carrier oil. You can
Omtimes.com
dilute essential oils in a carrier oil such as jojoba, almond, avocado, grapeseed, olive, or coconut oil before applying directly to your skin. Aromatherapy During a Meditation Session During your meditation, you can use a candle diffuser to diffuse your favorite meditation essential oil blend. You could also use another type of diffuser or room mister to distribute scent during your session. You’ll enhance your mindfulness levels, while enjoying pleasant and resonating scents that benefit you physically and mentally. You can also apply the oils to your clothing, a handkerchief, or your meditation pillows. Another simple way to incorporate aromatherapy is rubbing oil into your hands and deeply breathing in the oil. Quick Morning Meditation Using Aromatherapy Before you start your day, try this quick, easy way to enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy
Omtimes.com
and meditation. Dab some orange or other citrus oils (mixed with a carrier oil) to your wrists. Inhale deeply. As you meditate, the scent of the orange essential oil will revitalize and energize you. You can do this every morning to feel fresh and ready to tackle the rest of the day. It is best to use aromatherapy with meditation for about one month to experience the full benefits. When you practice mindfulness while immersed in beautiful aromas, it helps your body by supporting physical health issues, and your mindfulness practice by opening pathways for spiritual exploration. What is Benevolent Capitalism? by Chutisa and Steven Bowman
The Impact of Capitalism and Businesses on Our World Too many businesses today do not recognize the significant and far-reaching impact they can potentially produce on the environment, Omtimes.com
other people and the living planet. Some businesses even intentionally manipulate circumstances to enrich themselves at the expense of others. They pursue only their personal self-interest and focus on maximization of profit to the exclusion of all else. These are also the people who have caused capitalism to earn a little respect and to be evil. Much current animosity towards capitalism, therefore, stems from a misidentification by many businesses. They feel they must maximize profits, get their share of the pie and get everything they can with no consideration of the future. Capitalism has been delegated to “where’s my share of the pie?” and “how I can get what I need when I need it,” rather than “how can I create beyond this?” This is a very destructive way of manipulating capitalism. One of the things we have realized is that most people
have this point of view. This mindset doesn’t create the world from a sense of possibility. It creates the world from a sense of despair and lack! Extremes of Maximizing Profits Can Lead to Destruction Capitalism in a free market system should not be about maximizing profit to the exclusion of all else. Do many companies try to just maximize profit? Yes. Does it work? Actually, no! Businesses that do this do not survive for long in today’s environment. Most companies who have done this eventually destroy themselves. But not all is lost. A totally different reality is available for the business arena. It all comes down to the choices business leaders make. As long as people’s points of view are governed by the oldfashioned system of capitalism, notable for its scarcity mindset, industrial concepts of control, predictability, profit
Omtimes.com
maximization and ‘more is better’, we will continue to recreate businesses as they have been, despite the need of capitalism to transform and for business systems to evolve. We have realized that a big gap for business leaders, entrepreneurs, and the general public is the awareness that there is a different way of looking at capitalism. And there is a way to generate something totally different in their businesses and in their lives if they choose to change the way they view things. Benevolent Capitalism - A Real Change Agent We want to change that. We are inviting business leaders to alter that anti-conscious mindset so that they can see different possibilities and start looking at a different way of creating a business, living, and a way of being in the world. If businesses don’t start considering the future of tomorrow, then
Omtimes.com
we won’t have the amazing stuff that we can have. If we start to look from - how do I wish myself and everybody else well, as well as grow our wealth? Then we can start to create a greater possibility. The only way we are going to be on the creative edge of business, of finance, of the universe, of not becoming obsolete instantaneously is if we’re looking at the possibilities of the future from the energy of Benevolent Capitalism. And it is possible, once we get to any point of view that says it is not possible. It all starts with you and me. A Different Way to Create Business The whole notion of benevolent capitalism is a different way we must start looking at how we actually create—business, our lives, leadership, strategy, home life, whatever it might be. If we go back to the energy behind capitalism, it is about individual growth, individual wealth,
individual choice. When we tie onto that the benevolence component, a whole new possibility is created. “Benevolent capitalism,” if you tap into its energy, is about organically growing and at the same time wishing well for everyone. And everyone means the planet, not just people. Everyone actually means everyone, everything, every ...fill in the gap. And now is the time to make this choice, in our own lives and businesses, because a better world starts with us. About the Authors Chutisa and Steven Bowman are co-authors, along with Gary Douglas, who wrote the book on unlocking benevolent capitalism: Benevolent Leadership For A Better World, is available on Amazon: http:// amzn.to/1IrSqkM. For more information on the book and class, visit their website: www.benevolentcapitalism.com.
“Benevolent” comes from ancient Latin “bene”- to be well, and “volent”- to wish, and actually, means “to wish well.” “Capitalism” originally meant the organic growth of existing wealth. This could also be money, resources, people, or the original derivation of the word “capita” meaning head, usually of cattle or other livestock. Benevolent capitalism is about creating organic growth whilst at the same time wishing all well. It is about being with the world in a different way, with finances, with business, and with your life. Benevolent capitalism is a fresh perspective on creating and generating that will provide you with insights. Thus, it offers experiences, and tools that have the power to transform your business and life. The Benevolent Capitalism Class A Better World Starts With You … 30/Jun/2017 - 3/Jul/2017 Venice, Italy, which brings together some world leaders in this movement. Relationships The interconnectiveness among all human beings and, consequently, the relationships among us are the focus of this section. The dynamics of the web of connections we make is one of the most prominent aspects of human existence: how we interlace with each other’s existence in a meaningful way.
Eight Tips for Harmonious Relationships by Maria Khalife
Do You Seek More Harmonious Relationships? Harmonious relationships take work; every one of us can get into rocky situation or circumstance and want to seek

more harmony. Bouncing our ideas off others can begin as a terrifying task when we aren’t completely sure about ourselves. As we unfold that surety, though, we learn ways to adjust our words so they fall more gently on the ears of others.
are positive, fun, and forward thinking. Choose those who will also support you as you work your way upward. Negative people will only hold you down. Therefore, if you don’t feel good around them, walk away and go be you.
Or maybe you don’t, because you rather enjoy their shocked reactions? Either way, to maintain harmonious relationships with others is desirable. This is because these harmonious relationships will support us as we unfold our way toward perfect understanding across the years of our life.
Be generous when forgiving. People will do and say things that hurt you. Don’t hug these things to your heart forever. Forgive them and move into your own next best experience. Release them, your resentment and hurt. Look for the lessons and then move forward. If you spend time hating them, you won’t have time to love the folks who are there now.
These eight tips will support us toward harmonious relationships: Acceptance. You are uniquely you, just as they are uniquely them. Accept people as they are and when it comes to change, only change you. It’s futile to try to change others. Only they can accomplish change within themselves. Choose only positive people. Associate with people who
Only hold on to real friends. There are people who aren’t really interested in what is good for you. Let go of that bunch. They didn’t bring much into your life anyway; thus, they just aren’t worth your time in mourning over their being gone. They came, they left their gift, and they left. Did you learn the lesson from the gift?
Omtimes.com
Don’t be a harsh judge. One glance at a person doesn’t tell you his full story. Therefore, don’t think you know someone after one look. Be tolerant; also take time to listen to their story. Appreciate there may be something you can learn from him. If the relationship doesn’t work after you have looked, ease gently out of it. Trust yourself that you will know when to leave and how to do it gently. Be loyal to your real friends. There are always friends who are ready to party and be the entertainers in your life. The guy who stays and helps you carry out the empties is a real friend and deserves your loyalty and support. Real friends deserve your support, just as they also support you. Be tolerant, kind and respectful. If you decide in your mind that you will treat everyone with tolerance, kindness and respect, you will feel fabulous regardless of how they treat you. Your decision will keep you in harmony, out of judgment,
Omtimes.com
and will be noticed by others. People will want you to be in a relationship with them. Look for their good, and praise it. It takes discipline and a conscious choice to look for what is good in others, and when you give what you’ve seen a voice, you can easily take yourself out of selfishness into the realm of genuine caring and concern for others. And when you do this for yourself, you can do it more quietly. Who knows? Maybe they’ll pick up on it and start praising you! How to “Tune In” to the Power of Your Intuition by Kara Johnstad
We Can “Tune In” to Intuition Anytime Intuition: We already own it, and carry it with us every day. We have intuition our possession 24/7.
Omtimes.com
It is one of the most powerful tools we could ever wish for, and it comes free of charge. It is also here for the taking. If we are clever, we will listen to it before making a move. It is like our very own, built-in “intuitive positioning system.” So, what do we need to do to understand it and use it to guide us in our business and our lives? It is this simple: Tune in to your intuition! Various Methods to “Tune In” to Intuition “The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, and the solution comes to you and you don’t know how or why.” –Albert Einstein In this ever-so-busy, multitasking, modern-day world, we may find your intuition to be one of our strongest allies.
There are a few simple methods that help us to start tuning in: First, intuition has nothing to do with supernatural powers. Intuition is simply an extension of our natural self. Just relax, be open, and listen to our inner voice. With some focus and practice, our intuition will become clearer and stronger. Whenever we learn something new, it is helpful to practice it every day to become skilled and confident. Simply start by paying more attention to that quiet whisper in the back of the mind that nudges us in a direction. Honoring the Quiet Voice Deep Within Next, we might start honoring that quiet voice deep within by voicing it, writing it down in a journal, or speaking and recording it with any audio program. Most smart phones today have an app we can use.
Omtimes.com
If we receive a great idea in the middle of the day, we can simply use the audio memo to sing in the melody or record the message we hear. Then, when we get home those important notes can go into a journal, for example. Too often, we put these important instincts or messages “on hold.” When we postpone these intuitive messages, we can lose or forget them between ‘here’ and ‘there.’ Be sure to make note of them in a way that works best. “Tune In” to Try on a New Perspective The Japanese call it “stomach art.” We normally just say, trusting your gut instincts. As an artist, it is impossible to build anything sustainable if there’s a “should” at the foundation. There are moments when we might silently want to kick ourselves for the times we did not let go of an idea. We get hung up on how things
Omtimes.com
were “supposed to be,” and instead could have tried on a new perspective that served the longings of our heart. “A good artist lets his intuition lead him wherever it wants.” –Lao-Tzu Tune in to Intuition Every Day Following our inner voice and intuition is not some “airy-fairy” concept that has no place in our lives and our business. It is the exact opposite! Well, it is if we are interested in making a difference in this world and running a successful business as a heart-based entrepreneur. Many of us learn the hard way that the time it takes to “tune in” to intuition every day would save us much more time and energy. It may sound like a lot of effort to invest, to mindfully set time aside for meditating or keeping a journal every day. But, this is time and effort spent wisely and the returns are many.
“People with high levels of personal mastery cannot afford to choose between reason and intuition, or head and heart, any more than they would choose to walk on one leg or see with one eye.” –Peter Senge Trusting Our Alignment with Core Values When we allow ourselves to be guided more intuitively, we are clearer on where we apply our energies. We know which projects to invest in and which ones are not in alignment with our core values. As an artist, writing and performing comes from a deep flow, and this is true of people in many professions. Many clients who take part in my Voice Your Essence™ program, enthusiastically tell me of changes they encounter in their lives. Once we start tuning in regularly to our “inner voice,” we often change direction. It may be work-related, relationships, or
some other area of personal growth that we realize. Once we begin to acknowledge where we really want to be, from the depth of our being, we can move beyond walking in circles and being overwhelmed. Strange as it sounds, when we make very close friends with our inner voice, we feel like we are on target. This feeling of being in tune makes us automatically shift away from “should” and into “eureka!” About the Author Kara Johnstad is an OMTimes Expert, who musically encourages humanity to connect with and use our authentic voice in healing ways. How Space is an Entity by Marguerite dar Boggia
Esoteric Teachings Show Space is an Entity The Tibetan Master, Djwal Kuhl, worked through his amanuensis, Alice A. Bailey, using mental telepathy to write approximately eighteen books with her.
Omtimes.com
The esoteric teachings of occultism proclaim that there is one boundless immutable principle; one absolute reality which antecedes all manifested conditioned being. It is, therefore, beyond the range and reach of any human thought or expression. The manifested universe is contained within this absolute reality and is a conditioned symbol of it.(1) The teachings also posit that space is an entity, and the entire vault of heaven is the phenomenal appearance of that entity.(2) It is not the material appearance, however, but the phenomenal appearance. Some dim idea, providing analogy, even when eluding specifications, might be gained, if you will endeavor to think of the human family as an entity.
Individuals Are an Integral Part of the Solar System You, as an individual, are an integral part of humanity. Now,
extend this idea to a greater phenomenal entity, the solar system. This entity is itself an integral part of a still greater life which is thus expressing itself through seven solar systems, of which ours is one. It is the life and the influence, the radiations and emanations of this great, inconceivable entity, and their united effect on our unfolding kingdoms of nature, which we shall briefly mention. I believe that this entity is a star in our galaxy, ‘the Milky Way.’ In other places, the Tibetan Master refers to this indescribable, absolute monad as, the one about whom naught can be said. Hence, the twelve constellations in our zodiac form a quaternary, which is his personality.(3) As our body is a living organism with cells forming parts of various organs, so is the universe a living organism. Its planets and stars form parts of various organs, known as solar systems, constellations, galaxies, etc. All lives are thus interrelated and inter-dependent.
Omtimes.com
Greater Lives Vitalize Lesser Kingdoms
Boundless Space is One Integral Whole
The greater lives vitalize the lesser kingdoms and hierarchies of lives. The human kingdom vitalizes the animal kingdom and the animal kingdom vitalizes the vegetable kingdom, and so on. As we are cells in the body of the lord of our solar system, it, also, is a force center in the body of a stupendous lord.
The famous scientist, David Bohm, stated that the universe is one integral whole.
An endless series of hierarchies of sentient beings guide, control, and animate the whole universe. Thus, each has its mission to perform. They vary in their respective sizes and degrees of consciousness. Hence, some function as gods, some as hierarchies of angels or devas, some as rivers of lives vitalizing galaxies, solar systems, planets, and all the kingdoms of nature. Some also function as the elementals that form the bodies and the universe.(4)
Omtimes.com
Space is boundless; hence, it cannot be measured. The ineffable, inconceivable boundless is called the “All” or “That” by the Hindus and others, as it cannot be described. The Hindus refer to it as the one principle with two aspects: called Parabrahman and Mulaprakriti. The teachings also state that every mathematical point in space is a ‘life.’ The ancient Greeks called this life a “monad.”(5) A monad is a consciousness center. It is the life or soul of its vehicle: the atom. Its essence is deity. It is indivisible; while a mineral atom, is endlessly divisible. Scientists can investigate and search for atomic sub-particles forever.
Life Space and Its Purpose - Spirit and Matter What is the purpose of this life? The teachings state that spirit is the first differentiation from “That”, the causeless cause of both spirit and matter.(5a) The goal of this spirit, or monad, is to gain experience by encasing itself in all and every type of form in all the kingdoms of nature. Its goal is also to return to its emanating source as an inconceivable, stupendous, life. Darwin’s theory starts with evolution, but before there was evolution there was involution. (6) It is the process of the one, the homogeneous, becoming the many, the heterogeneous, through differentiation. Spirit, or the monad, comes down into ever-denser matter until it reaches the lowest point of densest concretion. Elemental Kingdoms of Our Solar System
It starts out in the first elemental kingdom for our solar system, in a form of mental substance. As it descends to second and third elemental kingdoms, its invisible form thus becomes slightly more material and less spiritual. There are elemental lives known as nature sprites, faeries, salamanders, undines, sylphs, gnomes, etc. When this life finally reaches the physical plane of our solar system, it enters into the mineral kingdom. Then, the monad is considered to be commencing on the ‘evolutionary arc.’ As it gains experience and evolves through the kingdoms of nature, its forms will very gradually become less material and more spiritual. The vehicles will be adequate to the expanded consciousness of the entity. Only in the human kingdom does the entity develop self-consciousness. Thus, in the lower kingdoms,
Omtimes.com
the lives are self-unconscious.
Everything is a Life; with Evolution
Elemental Kingdoms Five through Seven
The teachings state that everything is a life. The sum of the (self-unconscious) lives that make up a plane, is a great angel, also called a ‘deva.’ For our solar system, there are seven major planes which are divided into seven sub-planes. The lowest planes are of a substance that is more material than the one above it.
The kingdom to which we aspire is the fifth kingdom, called the kingdom of souls. This is when we develop the ‘higher mind’ of the soul. At this time, we are developing ‘lower mind,’ the intellect. The sixth kingdom is that of the devas, or angels. Hence, it is where we develop our spiritual nature and intuition. The seventh kingdom is that of deity. This is where we fuse with our inner god and continue to evolve on higher dimensions. Since consciousness is infinite, every deity will continue to aspire to greater goals on the endless ladder of evolution. Furthermore, scientists now concur with the teachings of occultism; to wit: that there are planes or dimensions of more spiritual substances. They call them implicate orders, also known as dimensions.
Omtimes.com
These are planes of consciousness. Hence, all life has consciousness. The life of the mineral atom knows when to attract and when to repel, etc. Of course, it cannot be compared to the consciousness of a rose or an animal. The sum of the lives that make up my computer is a life. It has no mind or emotion, (sometimes I wonder about that) but it is an ‘elemental’ entity that will evolve. Wherever there is an atom of matter, it also has the potentiality of selfconsciousness.(7)
The Seven Planes of Our Solar System
Thus, it is the Cosmic Gaseous Plane.
A diagram below shows The Seven Planes of Our Solar System for the Constitution of Man. The names of the planes are:
(6th) The Emotional or Astral Plane. The Cosmic Liquid Plane.
(1st) Divine, the plane of Adi, or the plane of Deity. Deity is called by the Greeks, “a Logos.” It is the First Cosmic Etheric Plane. All etheric planes are of invisible substances which are, therefore, the counterparts to the dense physical plane. In the future, humanity will develop etheric vision. (My dog has that vision. It sees ‘ghosts.’)
(7th) Physical Plane, also known as the Cosmic Dense Plane.
(2nd) Monadic, (Anupadaka) meaning parentless. It is the second Cosmic Etheric Plane. (3rd) Spiritual, or Atmic; also known as the third Cosmic Etheric Plane. (4th) The Intuitional or the Buddhic Plane. It is the fourth Cosmic Etheric Plane. (5th) Mental or Manasic Plane.

Triangles of the Monad
About the Author
The highest triangle in the diagram, symbolizes the three aspects of the one monad. It also reflects the three aspects of the one deity. The Christians refer to these aspects as: Father, Son, Holy Ghost, the Vedantins call them: Sat, Chit, Ananda. The Hindus call them: Brahma, Vishnu, Siva.
Marguerite dar Boggia presently serves as Secretary and Membership Chairperson of ISAR (the International Society for Astrological Research). She served as publisher of Kosmos, the ISAR Journal, and as Secretary and Director of ISAR and UAC (the United Astrology Congress). She is also a cofounder of UAC. Marguerite offers free of charge three pages weekly online of esoteric studies as known by Pythagoras and Plato. Contact her through her website: www. FreePythagorasTeachings.com.
The Occultists also refer to them as: The First Logos, the Unmanifested. Its aspect is “Existence.” The Second Logos is Spirit-Matter. This aspect is “Bliss.” The Third Logos is Creative Wisdom. Its aspect is “Intelligence.” All substance, called ‘matter,’ is really ‘mind concreted.’ It is, therefore, the third aspect of Deity, known as “Active Intelligence.” The second triangle thus symbolizes the threefold soul, which is the vehicle for the monad. The vehicle for the soul is the personality, which is also in the process of developing.

How a Psychic’s Mind Works to Know Our Future by Carmen Vasquez
Understanding the Psychic’s Mind Psychics, mediums, channelers! History is full of abundant resources of different divination methods that advertise knowing about an individual’s past, present, and future. In the scheme
Omtimes.com
of it all, there are those blessed with a psychic’s mind who are also categorized as “scammers” and “liars.” This is because, as a result of their predictions, nothing manifests or comes true. So how does a psychic’s mind work? Have you ever had the experience of visiting a psychic, and left stunned because it seems that he/she knew more about you than imaginable? Maybe mentioned names and gave detailed information? Did everything he/she say come true? How is it that their mental strategies function? Psychic’s Mind Experiences Different Energy Vibrations Psychics are people who are open to experiencing different vibrations of energy. This energy can be transmitted to mental images, thoughts, words or feelings that, in turn, do not question. But we simply transmit them without pausing to think whether it is real or not, or whether it makes sense. In other words, the psychic
learns to recognize only the language of the soul which is intuition. The consultee who visits a psychic is transmitting an energy and vibration at that moment. The psychic’s soul receives that energy. And, without identifying the “why” to the interpretation, begins to tell you as he or she is perceiving you, and discerns the reason for your visit. Feelings and thoughts that reside in your soul from your present and past remain in your energy field giving the psychic the capacity to perceive it. Each experience sends an impression to the cosmos creating an image in it and the psychic, without thinking, connects to it. They start receiving information that allows him/her to tell you “your future.” Presenting You with the Possibilities This person will present you one of the possibilities that can manifest in your future depending on where you have your attention

on in the moment of your consultation. That is, the psychic’s unconscious mind travels and obtains the energy of the image that you have been creating in that moment, and transmits it to his physical body in form of chills, sensations, thoughts, images and then he does not process the information but instantly describes and transmits it to you. Within time, if that information the psychic gave you is manifested, then you call this person clairvoyant or a good psychic. We are all energy fields that emanate energy all the time; at the same time, the universe unites our energy with an infinite number of possibilities that can exist for our thinking that creates our reality. By putting our attention on a thought, it joins that particular result; Like in a video game that is already predetermined to an infinity of options of how the game can proceed according to the movement that the person who is playing does. So, the universe works.
Omtimes.com
Unmanifested Predictions and Free Will But what happens when what the psychic predicted does not manifest itself? We all have free will and this creates every moment. At the moment we have the consultation, we go with a focus on a certain area of our life, but probably after some time we will focus on different things. What happens in that case? That the prediction is no longer valid since, with my free will, I decided to focus my attention on something else and release what I wanted or were worried about at that time. Everything is a matter of perception. When we change our perception, we change our thinking, and when we change our thinking we create a new reality. To make it clearer, I will give a real-life example. Example of Thought Change and Unfolding A consultee goes to an appointment, wants to
succeed in the modeling industry and does not mention it to the psychic; the psychic receives information and conveys it. She is perceiving her on a yacht doing some modeling photos that will give her a lot of fame. The consultee leaves very happy and ready to meet the prediction. As time passes this person becomes pregnant and decides to be a mom, completely changing her focus of life.
So, it is simple how the psychic’s mind works. They connect with our souls, and without any question tell us what comes to them in the form of images, words, sensations or thoughts. Thus, giving predictions that we then allow to manifest or not, depending on our free will. If we are still focused on the same, our thoughts will manifest. If we change our minds, we will be creating a different reality.
What happens there? That her attention to modeling faded and did not continue to create the possibility of being called by companies to take photographs; Then what happened? Is the psychic wrong and cheating? Or, is the client creating a new reality? Probably she believes the psychic was wrong because we do not always get the answers we want, but we always get what we are creating. Creation is the result of our focus.

Invoking Sacred Signs and Messages Through the Living Oracle by Sherrie Dillard
You are standing in the center of a very chatty universe that is ready to engage. Everything that you encounter is a part of you and you are part of it. Even though we may at times feel separate and unknown in a vast and impersonal world, we are never as alone as we may think. No matter where we are and what we are doing, guidance and direction is available through sacred signs, messages and synchronicities. Do you ever find coins or feathers on your path and wonder if this is a message from someone or something? Does the same species of bird suspiciously come to your window a little too often for it to be simply a chance encounter? Do you wake at the same time night after night, then glance at the clock at this same time during the day? When facing a difficult choice, decision or during a personal crisis have you ever asked for a sign or message to guide and lead you? If any of these are true for you, you are not alone. Since the beginning of time we have looked to an invisible presence and power to guide and comfort us through signs and messages. When we notice signs we are pulled into the deeper mystery of life where we become aware that we are seen, known and being guided.

Intuition Made Easy We often attempt to access intuitive guidance when we need to make an important decision or when we are in the midst of a personal crisis. Unfortunately we are often frustrated by the result. Although we may look to our intuition to provide wise and timely insight, achieving the calm and receptive state that is needed to receive clear intuitive guidance can be difficult. Unfortunately it often seems that when we most need the assuring voice of our intuition, our stress levels make it almost impossible to become quiet and meditative enough to receive inner guidance. The same is true when a loved one on the other side, reaches out to connect with us. Our grief over their passing and the many other intense emotions that we often feel, can create an energetic static that gets in the way of tuning into their presence. Our intuitive awareness can seem to be blocked or absent and it becomes all too easy to mistake our desires, wishes and hopes as intuitive information or to discount our intuitive impressions altogether. omtimes.com
However, when we find ourselves pressed for answers, overthinking and becoming consumed with trying to figure out possibilities, options, choices and the best course to take, there is another option. Sacred signs and messages are an external form and expression of intuition. The divine spirit realm knows all too well the difficulties that we encounter and has devised creative ways to break through the chattering thinking mind and our anxious emotions. Even though the divine response may not come in the way that we expect or desire, our prayers and requests for spiritual help and intervention are heard and answered. Signs, messages and synchronicities are messages from above. Through them the spirit realm sends their wise and loving council in a dependable and accessible way. When we observe and notice signs and messages we are engaging with powerful forces of positivity and healing. Instead of worrying, obsessing or feeling lonely, renewed hope and

form of unspoken and spiritual guidance.
Many sacred signs, messages and synchronicities come to us uninvited. During times of confusion or stress, when we need to make a decision or even when all is well, we may suddenly become aware that the butterfly that just landed on our window sill or the cloud overhead that is shaped like a heart, may be a message. When we notice and trust that we are being guided, the sudden appearance of a sign can be a welcome relief. They remind us that we are not alone. They can fill us with love, provide us with much needed direction and give us the assurance that our concerns and worries are being worked out for the highest good.
The Living Oracle
Signs and message are a form of intuitive communication that is available at all times and under any circumstance. Anyone and everyone can participate in noticing and deriving meaning from them. It is not necessary to be especially gifted or a confident intuitive to benefit from this
Throughout history, oracles have looked to nature and naturally occurring phenomena such as, the changing skies, the flight patterns of birds, markings on sticks and stones and the sightings of animals to provide guidance and direction. Although many ancient oracle systems make use of the

Even though signs often come to us without our request and appear to be random, I have developed a system, that I call the Living Oracle, to invoke and interpret them. It is described in my new book, Sacred Signs and Symbols, along with a variety of ways to personalize and adapt it to your particular needs. Through the Living Oracle, sacred signs and messages can be invoked for insight into such areas as relationships, career and life purpose. They can also guide us in our everyday decisions and choices, offer spiritual guidance and connect us to our loved ones on the other side and our angels.

symbology of nature and the natural world, signs and messages emerge in everyday conditions and through everyday objects and situations. The advancement of technology and contemporary society has allowed new and creative signs and messages to develop and take shape. Even through some signs and messages are similar in appearance and meaning to those that occurred centuries ago, they also take form and are expressed through everyday conditions, objects and situations. The Living Oracle was designed as a way to better notice and interpret the common signs that often occur in more urban areas, such as towns, cities and residential areas and neighborhoods. It is in highly populated areas that signs, messages and synchronicities are often missed or ignored. The purpose and meaning of present day signs and messages and naturally occurring ones, might not always be obvious. Signs and messages communicate through symbolic and metaphoric language. Some

signs utilize time honored universal symbols, while others are expressed in a more personal and individual way. Along with listening within to our intuition and gut knowing and relying on our personal interpretation of signs and messages, Sacred Signs and Symbols, includes an extensive glossary which reveals the meaning within hundreds of natural and urban sacred signs and synchronicities. All of life is a living oracle where we are supported, loved, and cared for.

Go Beyond Thinking and Stop Sinking
by Guy Finley
Omtimes.com
Moving Beyond What We Think Negative states are not mandatory; believe it or not, they are voluntary! Proving this to ourselves is the first step in walking out of the psychological prison created by our current misperception of reality.
Imagine for a moment you’re driving home from work, and you’ve just come from having a pretty rough day at the office. As you drive along, your eyes see the road before you, but your mind is in the past. It’s very busy running and then re-running a few of the day’s unpleasant events, much like an unattended slideshow cycling through the same few images over and over again. You relive that painful stab of some thoughtless remark someone cruelly blurted out or the embarrassment of that stupid comment you made without thinking. All we need to see to walk out of this darkened theater of unhappy thoughts is right before our eyes: The more we think, the more we sink! Thought-Blindness Due to Thinking Dilemma Instead of achieving the freedom we imagine through this struggle, we find ourselves further entangled in the dark web of our own imagination! In moments such as these, our
lives and our choices are not our own; they are literally the property of a mind that is asleep to its own operations. Its unique “blindness” is that it’s busy showing itself the very images that it doesn’t want to look at! This means the more desperately the mind struggles to escape the conflict it feels, the less it’s able to realize that it’s real struggle is with itself. It is not of the world that it blames for its conflicted condition. Breaking free of this interior web of thought can’t happen by pulling on the individual strands of thought that hold us there. In the end, it is awareness of our actual dilemma that releases us from it. A False Sense of Self Led by Thinking Its light empowers us to see the truth about our “thought self.” We observe the false sense of life it weaves for itself by thinking about itself: its world is not the same as ours. It is like the swan that mistook itself to be an ugly duckling, Omtimes.com
until it caught a glimpse of its own graceful reflection in still waters. We can open our interior eyes and see that the world of thought is not the home of our True Self. We call this practice self-observation. It is the “alpha and the omega” of a life without limits. Through it, we realize that who we really are cannot be confined by anything, let alone a cage of thought. Learning to observe our self begins with one simple but deliberate act of attention on our part. As many times a day as we can remember to do it, we want to first come awake to whatever activity is running through our own mind. We then simply, quietly, take a single step back from our own thoughts. We Watch Our Own Thinking It is movement and character, instead of allowing the drawing of ourselves onto its stage and into its drama. Instead of reacting to these thoughts and feelings as they pass through us, pulling us into their world as they do, we
Omtimes.com
release them as they form. In other words, we are neither for nor against, any thought with any other thought. And should we find ourselves sinking into the web of some needless negative thinking, then we need only step back and watch that event. Although the thought is sticky stuff, please know-in spite of appearances-release is immediate! So, we must stick with our new intention to “see” our way free until we know the truth of it at the moment. Can Joyous Communication Achieve Harmony? by Tony Samara
“Respond with sensitivity and human warmth to the hopes, and communications of all. Such kindness, can change your life forever.” – Tony Samara
Joyous Communication is a Pathway of Peace There is no purpose in creating fear or anger within ourselves
Omtimes.com
or others. This is where joyous communication can play an important role.
Rather, we have a focus on birthing the new light that is forever inside of our heart.
There is no purpose in bringing our heart to a space where joy and light fade into the mundane disappointments and disillusionments that are inevitable when we go down a well-trodden path that leads to nowhere.
Imagine making everyone joyous by changing the structure of confrontational situations!
However, there is a purpose in practicing what it means to be free and conscious. The purpose being that we give less of who we are to the old. We move forward to a space that is uniquely in this moment by focusing on the joy and freedom of what it means to be conscious. This includes the parts of ourselves that make us uniquely human. We must be more conscious of the parts that celebrate this moment in a completely free way.
Some people do not like it when people confront them, or when there is a situation that requires a confrontation as the best way to proceed. They prefer to run away from all issues requiring such. Instead of looking at confrontation as an issue that will cause pain, thus continuing to practice old ways of avoiding the issue, we can utilize our heartfelt communication in a new way.
Focus on the Light Inside of Our Heart
Choose to take a deep breath, relax all the muscles in the body and focus on the love and consciousness that comes from the space of being in this moment.
We need to be clear that the burden of the old no longer needs to be our paradigm.
Choose harmonious consciousness, rather than
Omtimes.com
getting caught up in the ideas of pain. These are simply based on belief systems from the past, and ideas of possible painful futures, rather than the unique presence of this actual moment. Joyous Communication is the Way With every aspect of communication, express the joy of what it means to be able to move through this wonderful lesson to a space that brings us closer to the joy of being in deep, joyous communication with other wonderful human beings. Instead of pretending nothing is wrong, or escaping into old patterns and belief systems, which often blow things out of proportion, there are some easy steps we can take to transcend, rather than try to resolve, the issue. A Few Steps to Joyous Communication The first step is to completely center ourselves. Without
Omtimes.com
uttering any words, take a few deep breaths and calm our body into a normal, relaxed state. Take a few moments to analyze what it is that the body is feeling in this moment. Notice especially the shoulders, the jaws, the thighs, and the mouth. Once we relax these areas, take a few more moments to consciously feel that these parts of the body are flowing with the warm sensation of love. The next step is to observe what the communication is about. Most of us get caught up in the feelings triggered by a communication. Hence, we communicate from those feelings, rather than responding to the actual communication. This is called projection, and such communication asks others to react to our projection. In this way, we can continue a vicious circle of understanding our pain, rather than finding freedom and consciousness in each situation. This may mean dropping criticism, judgment,
subtle provocations and sarcasm. We may set aside expectations, blaming, causing pain, or whatever mechanisms that we normally use to become the pain. Joyous Communication Give, Rather than Take
from a space of abundance and consciousness. From such actions, we are giving ourselves opportunities that only come when we can hear the wisdom. This is true not only in ourselves, but in all that is around.
When we are in this free space of observation, we can create thinking that becomes more intelligent. This enables us to express our deeper communications, which always contain love, compassion, joy, and kindness.
What a wonderful reality to affirm in all our joyous communication. In this way, every aspect of life becomes more real. We therefore become more human and more full of compassion for ourselves and all living beings.
Trust and connect with this depth of consciousness and express and affirm in a positive way, what is wanted from this depth rather than what is not wanted. Make sure that the affirmations are not demands and that they create a space of open embracement that allows everyone to feel the joy of this communication.
