Editorial: Embracing Grief: The Journey Through Sorrow to Strength Don't grieve. Anything you lose comes around in another form. Rumi In the intricate tapestry of human experience, few threads are as universally and intimately woven as that of grief. “Sorrow makes us all children again,” a poignant reminder that our most primal, unguarded selves are revealed in the face of loss. Grief is not a mere emotion but a profound journey that reshapes the soul. It is, arguably, among the most profound human experiences one can endure. Grief is the price of love, a solemn toll that echoes in the chambers of our hearts, reminding us of the depth of our connections. The pain of losing someone dear is not indicative of weakness, nor is it a disorder or disease. It is a testament to our capacity to love deeply and unreservedly. “The deep capacity to weep for the loss of a loved one and to continue to treasure the memory of that loss is one of our noblest human traits.” This statement encapsulates the bittersweet reality of grief - it is as much about cherishing memories as it is about mourning loss. The act of grieving requires immense courage. To grieve is to confront not only the pain of loss but also the vulnerability of our own existence. We grieve in myriad ways - through tears, silence, prayer, or song. Each method is a path through the wilderness of sorrow, a way of honoring our pain. In touching the pain of recent and long-held griefs, we come face to face with our genuine human vulnerability. These moments are the storm clouds of the heart, dark and brooding yet intrinsic to our emotional landscape.

Grief
is
a
journey
through
helplessness
and
hopelessness, a voyage that often feels lonely and endless. Yet, it is a necessary passage, a rite that fosters resilience and wisdom. Through grief, we learn to embrace our fragility and to understand the impermanence of life. This understanding, in turn, deepens our appreciation for the moments we share and the connections we forge. Furthermore, grief is not a linear process. It ebbs and flows, a tide governed by the moon of our emotions. There are days when the weight of loss feels unbearable, and others when it sits lightly on our shoulders. This fluctuation is a natural part of the healing process. It teaches us that grief, like life, is a dynamic, ever-changing experience. In our grieving, we also discover that we are not alone. Our shared vulnerability to loss connects us in a profound, almost sacred way. In our collective mourning, we find a sense of community and understanding. This solidarity in sorrow is a powerful force that can bring comfort and healing. In conclusion, grief is an emotional, physical, and spiritual necessity. The storm must be weathered, the night that precedes the dawn. In our journey through grief, we find the strength to endure and the courage to grow. As we navigate this path, let us remember that the only cure for grief is to grieve, to allow ourselves the space and time to heal, to honor our losses, and to cherish the love that made them so acutely felt.

Grief
FROM HEARTBREAK TO HEALING

Interview with Don Miguel Ruiz
on Miguel Ruiz doesn't need long introductions.
Don Miguel Ruiz is a renowned Nagaluan master, the acclaimed author of "The Four Agreements," and a revered spiritual leader. In his latest insights on death and loss, Ruiz imparts his profound wisdom, emphasizing the opportunities for expanded awareness that arise from every challenge. "Grief and Renewal" delves into the common tendency to use grief as a pretext for prolonged suffering. Ruiz enlightens us on the diverse paths people tread in coping with loss. He highlights how societal norms and our own apprehensions about death often amplify our emotional turmoil during trying times. With his unique approach, Don Miguel provides invaluable guidance on navigating through loss with dignity and self-compassion, steering us toward greater consciousness. Don Miguel has spent the past three decades guiding people to personal freedom through his profound insights regarding the nature of human reality. OMTimes Magazine
OMTimes: Don Miguel, it is wonderful to be speaking with you today. Let's talk about your book, Grief and Renewal, which invites common people to transform our grief and sense of loss into experiences that will bring us more selfawareness and spiritual development. How did the idea of a book like this come to you? Don Miguel Ruiz: Well, I wrote nine or 10 books already, and this is the logical one to come now because everybody needs to see Life differently. At this time, I use just the point of view of Life, which means the spirit, and I see Life as the great artist who always creates everything that exists. Life is creating and destroying, creating, destroying, creating, destroying. Then, I use the point of view of each of us, authentic people, and how we see how Life is working around us. We can see evolution through time and civilizations that started, grew, and became very powerful. And then they are destroyed with time. Then, we can say that everything with a beginning will have an end. If we look from the point of view of Life, we can see the creation of the entire universe and our solar system as the creation of our beautiful planet Earth. And we know the planet Earth as a living being that is alive. It has all the organs and systems and works in a perfect equilibrium as a living being. We see entire species born on the Earth, many species disappear, and new species occur then sitting. That way, we can also see humanity as one living being. As living beings living on and working for the Earth, we are a new species on this beautiful planet. I don't know how many millions of years we have here, but as an organ of Earth, we have a mission to do.
OMTimes Magazine
We work for the Earth, just like other systems and other organs. For example, the forest, the atmosphere, the oceans, and every single species on Earth. Then, if we see humanity as one living being, we know that it replaces itself every maybe a hundred years or 120 years, which means that for everybody living right now in a hundred years or 120 years, none of us will exist. Many other humans will replace us.
And we're not responsible for anything that happened to that humanity, even that. They program us to make us believe that we are responsible for whatever is happening on this beautiful planet Earth. But the truth is that no, we are not. Still, we are part of humanity and serve humanity because every single human is serving all the time from the most prominent people. Everyday people we are always serving anyway.
And humanity keeps going and going. Then, during the experience, as humans, we don't see ourselves as an organ of planet Earth. We see ourselves in our little community where we live, in our little world, you know?
We live on service all the time, and, uh, we witness everything that is happening around us. We see destruction. We see, uh, war, we see, uh, um, starvation disease.
Yes. When we were born, humanity existed already as it is, and we didn't create anything. Everything was already here.
We witness all the catastrophes happening all around us, and we see that in our own family. We see that in ourselves.
OMTimes Magazine
Everything that broke our hearts is a loss. And we grieve. Of course, when someone very close to us dies, it looks so difficult. But if we just understand, we can approach everything from a completely different point of view. First of all, we need to accept our mortality. We will die, like we said before, we are going to live, I don't know, one year, ten years, ten years, 40 years, 80 years, a hundred years. Then, the lifespan of a human is very short.
We lose something, and we agree for that, something, but it's the reaction that we have for them, for Life working all the time, and we are just, uh, we are alive. Life lives on us and our lives. We also create all the time. What makes humanity, uh, special is our imagination, is our dream. Because we're dreaming all the time, and we have selfawareness. We know ourselves; we understand that we live, form, and create many wonderful dreams. We see the transformation of our dreams. We see our dreams growing and being destroyed. Then the grief is about everything that we lost, not just our family, but our business, our illusions. Yeah. OMTimes Magazine
When you accept your own mortality, You start to accept the mortality of everybody around you and everything. Any relationship, whatever you create, will end because Life works all the time. OMTimes: Perfectly said… the wheel of Life in action…it's interesting. Don Miguel Jack Cornfield once said that grief is a storm inside our hearts. My question is, how can we alleviate this storm? Are there any spiritual practices we can do, or how can we use them to pacify our hearts when dealing with loss and grief? Don Miguel Ruiz: Well, it's a, it's a very, you know, it's very interesting to see welfare. The first step is to be aware and accept how Life always works. And because we are Life, we see ourselves working all the time. We see life-transforming our physical body. We see Life working in the people that we love. Then, in our dream, we have that attachment, a strong attachment with the secondary characters of our story, of our dream, which means our parents, our beloved, our children, our friends, our business, the sports, everything that happened, in our personal dream with our unique point of view. OMTimes Magazine
The first step is accepting that Life is happening, and we are part of Life, and everybody around us is part of Life, and in order to have new children, new ones come and take our place. We need to go; sooner or later, Our body will not survive the time.
If someone that you love dies? Of course, you will feel it; it will be hurt. But when you accept already, that is happening. You will not accept any emotional poison that makes longer the time that you grieve. But you should not accept opinions from other people telling you the way you should feel because your son died, your daughter died, your husband died, your father died, your best friend died. Everybody has opinions. We can listen but don't have to react to whatever they say. Yes, there are all those different religions. There's all those therapists, there's all those books. All those teachers tell everybody how they should feel or not feel. Well, none of that is good or bad or right or wrong because when you react in your own personal way, if you don't add any emotional poison coming from outside or coming from yourself, then the time of grief will be much easier.
And you can see that this is going, but you are still alive, and you can renew yourself in so many different ways.
If you use the emotional poison that comes from other people and yourself, that time of grief will be very long. Of course, you will always remember and have some kind of emotion, sadness, or whatever, but it is not the same because now you understand, and it's okay. It is okay to grieve. It's okay to feel what we feel. Then, when we have that awareness and somebody else has a loss, we just do not say, oh, I'm sorry. Your pain is my pain. No, it is their pain, and it's okay if they just feel our support. If we don't poison them, it'll be much easier for them to heal as soon as possible. Then there are all those different ways to see because there are so many people, so many cultures, and so many ways to deal with death that what we feel has to be the same for everybody. No, the advantage that we have is that we have awareness. I know I will die. In fact, I died three times already.
We can say I had a big heart attack in 2002. I had a heart transplant in 2010, and last December, I had a second heart transplant, and I'm still here.
OMTimes Magazine
OMTimes Magazine
And it's not that I'm afraid of diet, death, or whatever. No, no, it is. It's like, it's my physical body. It's my temple, and I just do my best for my physical body. OMTimes: Yeah. I think it's amazing and I believe it's because you haven't finished what you came here to do. What is your personal opinion? What is the role of ancestors, your ancestors, in dealing with grief with us? Is there any ritual that we can do that would connect us with our loved ones and, uh, to have access to this understanding that, um, everything is cyclical and that's, even if the matter is not here anymore, the energy continues. Is there any ritual? What is your opinion about it? Don Miguel Ruiz: You know, like the image of your parents that you have in your mind. The real ones are completely different. That the ones that you had in your mind and your parents, the parents that you know, are the ones who live in your mind. Their spirit is part of Life. Now. They're no longer them but the secondary characters; they live in my mind, in my dreams. OMTimes: What do you see that would be different in our world if our humanity embraced this? What is your perspective on it? What changes? Don Miguel Ruiz: It's so amazing that we evolved that way in a very short time. Imagine that you wake up tomorrow, a thousand years in the past, or 500 years in the past, knowing what you know, believing what you believe right now, and seeing what everybody else believes. If you try to teach them what you know, they will think that you're a witch, and they will burn you alive. For them, everything will obviously be many superstitions. And they will be very fanatic, trying to protect the way they live when it's not even worth it.
GRIEF and RENEWAL Finding Beauty and Balance in Loss by Don Miguel Ruiz & Barbara Emrys Paperback I 160 pages ISBN-13: 9781953027092
Then, humanity is being evolved a lot. The way of believing, the way of thinking, is shifting and interchanging. And we have more and more awareness. Now imagine that someone comes from a thousand years from the future and sees us now, the way we live now. That person will believe that we're barbarians. Humanity will embrace it, of course, because they will have more and more awareness. You know, humanity has evolved rapidly in the last hundred years, maybe 200 years before. It has evolved very slowly, especially in the last 30 years.
Health & Wellness Innovative new approaches to Healing as well as holistic methods for dealing with health issues and personal growth
Profile
The Harmonic Egg A Healing Sanctuary Beyond Conventional Medicine In the realm of alternative healing modalities, a unique and intriguing concept has emerged, offering a sanctuary for holistic wellness and rejuvenation. The Harmonic Egg is an innovative and immersive healing environment that combines light, sound, sacred geometry and vibrational therapy to facilitate physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Rooted in the principles of energy medicine and the understanding of the body's innate capacity to heal itself, the Harmonic Egg has garnered significant attention for its potential to address a wide array of health concerns and promote overall vitality. The Harmonic Egg is a resonant chamber designed to create a harmonious, nurturing space that encourages relaxation and restoration.
Inspired by the idea that vibrational frequencies can profoundly influence our well-being, Gail Lynn, inventor and creator of the Harmonic Egg has meticulously crafted a unique egg-shaped structure that envelops individuals in a cocoon of healing vibrations. The design of the Harmonic Egg is meticulously crafted to induce a state of deep relaxation and meditation, allowing individuals to immerse themselves in an environment conducive to healing and self-discovery.
The Harmonic Egg The egg generates a resonant field that harmonizes with the body's energetic frequencies to release stress, tension, and emotional blockages, leading to a sense of well-being and rejuvenation, incorporating light and sound therapy.
Advocates of this healing modality suggest that regular sessions may contribute to the reduction of stress, anxiety, and chronic pain, while also supporting the body's natural ability to heal from within.
Central to the philosophy of the Harmonic Egg is the belief that each individual possesses a unique energy blueprint that contributes to their overall health and vitality. By utilizing the principles of resonance and entrainment, the Harmonic Egg realigns and harmonizes the body's energy centers, or chakras, fostering a state of equilibrium and coherence.
The immersive experience offered by the Harmonic Egg is often described as transformative and deeply restorative, with many individuals reporting a sense of mental clarity, emotional release, and heightened vitality following their sessions.
OMTIMES MAGAZINE

The growing interest and positive testimonials surrounding this healing modality have piqued the curiosity of holistic health enthusiasts and medical professionals.
OMTIMES MAGAZINE
The potential of the Harmonic Egg to serve as a complementary and integrative therapy within the broader landscape of wellness and healing is increasingly being explored and recognized. As individuals continue to seek holistic approaches to wellness and healing, the Harmonic Egg stands as a testament to the profound connection between vibrational frequencies, energy medicine, and the body's innate capacity to restore balance and well-being.
With its nurturing and transformative environment, the Harmonic Egg offers a unique opportunity for individuals to embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and holistic rejuvenation, providing a sanctuary that transcends the boundaries of conventional medicine and fosters a deeper connection with the self and the world around us. We asked Gail Lynn, inventor and creator of the Harmonic Egg, how the Harmonic Egg differs from other energy systems, technologies, and modalities. With an increasing number of individuals embracing the concepts of frequency and energy medicine, it's not surprising that more are seeking an understanding of the distinctions between various healing methods. I firmly believe that this approach represents the medicine of the future, a departure from the conventional methods that have left many feeling unwell and unable to reach their full potential. Despite acknowledging the value of Western medicine in certain contexts, I've personally found greater success in addressing the root cause of my health issues through alternative means, often tapping into the guidance of a higher power.
OMTIMES MAGAZINE
Listening to my body has become a pivotal aspect of my healing journey. Rather than simply relying on conventional diagnoses and prescribed treatments, I've sought to uncover the underlying messages communicated by my body, often tied to past traumas or unresolved emotional issues. It's a process that requires an attentive and introspective approach, a departure from the traditional reliance on external interventions and pharmaceutical solutions that treat the body as inherently flawed. I've noticed a growing trend among individuals who are similarly inclined to seek the root cause of their bodily signals, acknowledging the necessity of holistic healing that integrates the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of well-being. I began delving into the realms of wellness and nutrition back in the 1990s, initially as a personal interest that gradually extended to aiding my family and friends. This cumulative wealth of knowledge and experience inspired the creation of the Harmonic Egg, a culmination of over three decades of research, collaboration, and intuitive observation.
OMTIMES MAGAZINE
The Harmonic Egg, distinct in its simplicity and spiritual foundation, is an embodiment of my unwavering dedication to facilitating holistic healing experiences. Incorporating insights drawn from the visionary perspectives of Edgar Cayce, Nikola Tesla, and Royal Rife, the development of the Harmonic Egg was guided by an intention to create a space that fosters profound healing on multiple levels. From its intentional use of sacred geometry to the meticulously selected music and colored lights, every component of the Harmonic Egg has been thoughtfully designed to harmonize with the innate healing capacities of the individual within.
OMTIMES MAGAZINE
One of the pivotal aspects of the Harmonic Egg experience is the emphasis on individual healing, acknowledging the unique journey that each person must undertake. Unlike group healing settings that can inadvertently introduce external energies, the Harmonic Egg serves as a sanctuary for solitary healing and introspection, allowing individuals to embark on a deeply personal journey of self-discovery and rejuvenation. In the midst of the evolving landscape of holistic healing, I've observed with concern the proliferation of self-proclaimed experts who adamantly assert their version of what's best for others. The importance of humility and respect within the healing community cannot be overstated. We are all interconnected, and recognizing this interdependence is essential in fostering a truly collaborative and supportive environment for healing and growth. My journey has been shaped by a willingness to learn from others to engage in collaborative efforts that enrich my understanding and the collective knowledge base of the healing community.
Similarly, the recognition of the impact of external energies, whether from human interactions or healing modalities, underscores the importance of discernment and selfawareness in selecting the right healing approach. In sharing these insights, I aim to empower individuals to become more attuned to their bodies, trust their intuition, and honor their personal truths. Discernment and selfadvocacy are crucial tools on the path to holistic wellness, enabling individuals to navigate the diverse landscape of healing modalities with a sense of confidence and clarity. We can collectively contribute to a more harmonious and interconnected healing journey for all by fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and self-empowerment. With deep reverence and a profound commitment to the well-being of humanity and the planet, I offer these reflections as a beacon of light and hope for all those on their individual paths toward healing and self-discovery.
Over time, I've come to appreciate the significance of balance and moderation in the pursuit of well-being. The notion that "more is better" is often counterproductive, as the body requires time and space to integrate the healing energies and experiences it encounters.
Gail Lynn, inventor and creator of the Harmonic Egg, is dedicated to harnessing the power of sound, light, and sacred geometry for self-healing. In 2007, at the age of 37, Gail received a diagnosis of severe cardiovascular stress. When a series of light and sound treatments reversed her diagnosis, she set out to uncover the ancient history and modern science behind light and sound as healing therapies.

Egyptian legend say that it was near this spot that an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream and told him King Herod had died. From here the Holy Family began the return trip to Israel that would end its five year exile in Egypt, which Egyptian or “Coptic” Christians believe began when the Holy Family crossed the border from Israel to get away from King Herod who wanted to kill the baby Jesus. There are a few chapters in the book of Matthew about the Holy Family fleeing the wrath of King Herod, but nothing written in the bible about what the Holy Family did nor what they learned on their flight to Egypt. But Egyptian Christians and Muslims have collected stories over the centuries and assembled a Holy

For Egyptian Christians, this altar stone is the holiest spot in Egypt. They consider this carved stone to be the “altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt” referred to in the Old Testament book of Isaiah. The monk who accompanied me to the stone said I could touch it only if I prayed for something I truly wanted. “No one is ever refused what they ask for at this altar,” he declared, seriously.
