Magazine. Andrew is the author of the transformational Health and Wellness Course, the Crystal Astrologer Course and Chakracology Course. His other healing studies include the Color Elite, Color Therapy Course, the Complete Meditation and his most popular, the Crystal Light, Crystal Therapy Course. He joins me to discuss his most recent book “Lead Us to a Place – Your Spiritual Journey through Life’s Seasons.” Welcome, Andrew Pacholyk. Please tell us a little about your journey. ANDREW PACHOLYK: Yes, well, my first career was as a professional dancer for 20 years. I was fortunate enough to travel the world and further my dance career using my own. I was able to see some of the most amazing and sacred places on earth, and in each location, I learned more about the culture and local traditions and even more about myself. I was really able to express myself through movement and song and acting, and I Omtimes.com

was able to use my body as an instrument to show other people who I was and how I would relate to the world through self-expression. VICTOR FUHRMAN: What brought you to your spiritual path? ANDREW PACHOLYK: It’s interesting. I was at the end of my dance career. I didn’t quite know where to go at that point. Unfortunately, I had an accident where I sustained second and third-degree burns over my left arm and both of my legs which was debilitating, physically, for about seven months of my life; but, emotionally, for about seven years later after that. So, lost after my dance career, I had no direction, and I sought out the healing path of Acupuncture to help me to cope with this. VICTOR FUHRMAN: How did Acupuncture play a part in this? What about your attraction to Herbal Medicine? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Acupuncture not only healed me physically, but it was able to get me onto a more mental Omtimes.com

and stronger path. Herbs have been in my family since I was very young. We grew up on a farm, and my Mum was always giving us herbal remedies so my Dad would grow a lot of herbs in the garden, and that’s how we chose to get better, with the herbs usually. VICTOR FUHRMAN: What herbs were you using during this period of time? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Well, when we were younger, we’d use basic herbs like pepper and chamomile and lavender. My Mum grew lots of flowers that she would make into decoctions that we would take as children and cough syrup medications all from herbs and flowers. So that was my background at the base. VICTOR FUHRMAN: During your healing from the burns, what herbal medications were you using? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Well, I was introduced to Chinese herbal medicine. The Acupuncturist was also an Herbalist who actually gave me salves made from herbs, and I

took formulas internally to help the skin heal as well. VICTOR FUHRMAN: How would you describe the ancient Chinese medical approach to these topics? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Well, the Chinese have been doing this for over 3,000 years and what they have learned over all this trial and error is how to treat the body and the three systems of healing, which is mental, physically and spiritually. So, with the application of Acupuncture, it really helps the body to help itself; to help the body heal itself. The application of herbs taken internally helps from the inside out, and the spiritual component is something I think that comes along through that journey that you experience through those healing sessions.

Acupuncture, I fell really into the field of infertility, which is now my specialty. I worked a lot with the Endocrine system and the Gynaecological system for treating infertility. VICTOR FUHRMAN: How do the Chinese Medicine approach and address pain management? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Pain management is what Acupuncture is probably most famous for, so a lot of times we apply acupuncture with the eastern. We connect the needles to an electrical current to stimulate the needles and speed up healing. There are a few theories. One theory is that it works through the central nervous system, through the brain and spinal cord. Another theory believes that it works on a sub-atomic level; basically, so that it’s working on a level we don’t see or is unforeseen. The third is that it works through the central nervous system.

VICTOR FUHRMAN: Your bio talks about three specific fields; Endocrinology, Gynaecology and Pain Management. How does Chinese medicine just address these briefly?

VICTOR FUHRMAN: What is the purpose of checking pulses in Acupuncture?

ANDREW PACHOLYK: When I decided to go into

ANDREW PACHOLYK: Yes, so in the wrists and in the feet, Omtimes.com

there are pulse points, and they each represent different organs on the left and the right side of the body. So, when we’re checking pulses, we’re usually checking for an excess or deficiency in the beat or rhythm or depth of the pulse. It’s just another diagnostic tool that we use to help define a pattern. VICTOR FUHRMAN: As is the case with mastery, the student became the teacher, and I must say what an awesome teacher you’ve become with more than 100,000 certified students. When did you begin teaching? What was that experience like? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Probably about 15 years ago. It’s been a long journey to reach that path but helping people to learn has really become my passion. So, structuring courses to help people to understand and practice has really been my passion. Sometimes people want to have private tutoring and private treatment so I will incorporate that into my practice. They will come during the practice hours, and we have an hour of time together, and we work on the modality of healing they wish to work Omtimes.com

on. Or, sometimes, we will do groups of students that want to learn together. VICTOR FUHRMAN: For readers that may be interested in pursuing one of these modalities, how can they get in touch with you? ANDREW PACHOLYK: They can always get in touch with me through www.peacefulmind. com. The website introduces all the courses that we share, and people can sign up right there on the website and choose the course they wish to follow. I think we are really all healers inside. We just have to tap into that vein or that energy or that train of thought. VICTOR FUHRMAN: What may we find at peacefulmind.com in addition to your teaching offerings? ANDREW PACHOLYK: There are thousands of articles that I’ve written over 20-some years now that I’ve actually put on paper or put on the website for people to go and read more about experiences in alternative and complementary healing. They can also find

information on illnesses and disorders and how we treat them. I have my own line of herbal tinctures, made out of western herbs that we have created for specific disorders, as well as teas and herbal teas. VICTOR FUHRMAN: How important is a regular practice of meditation and mindfulness to becoming a professional in this work? ANDREW PACHOLYK: I think it’s important because it really helps to ground you. It really helps to center you, especially at the beginning of the day when you can set your intention and start your path for the day. Also, at the end of the day, after you’ve come home. It’s been a frazzled day; you’ve done a million things. It’s time for you just to sit and reconnect with yourself. VICTOR FUHRMAN: During the teaching of the practice, how do you get people to get into that side of the mind that is more receptive and open to the subtle energy? ANDREW PACHOLYK: I tell them that they have to leave

everything outside at the door when they come in. They have to start to focus on themselves, to be more in tune with what they’re feeling, How they’re feeling it, and kind of map out the intention that they want to do in their particular session or in their journey. VICTOR FUHRMAN: One of the things in my own healing practice was before you enter someone else’s field, their energy field, you absolutely have to be totally clear and let go of anything that you may have experienced earlier that day, or that week, or whatever is going on in your life that is not absolutely positive. Is that something you encourage your students to do? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Yes, I think that’s great advice because we bring so much in with us whenever we walk into a room or we walk into a place, or we come home. Everything we’ve gathered in our mind and in our heart physically or in our body tends to stay with us, so releasing that is a great Omtimes.com

practice, and you can do that during meditation. VICTOR FUHRMAN: Andrew, what inspired you to write Your Book “Lead Us to a Place”? ANDREW PACHOLYK: I probably had an idea to write a book 10 years ago and just had so much information I just didn’t really know how to categorize it; how to bring it all together. Then one day I was actually looking through an old textbook and realized that the seasons were at the basis of so much of my healing and the healing experiences that I thought that would make a great foundation for the book. VICTOR FUHRMAN: What are the seasons and stages of our lives? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Basically, the seasons are looked at in four categories, and the new beginning of spring usually represents our coming of age in our teens and twenties, when we start to unearth that raw energy of who we are through our own personal beauty and intuition and sexual self-esteem that our creative Omtimes.com

forces awaken. I classify the summer as our thirties and forties because that’s when we develop our own persona by discovering more about love and luck and confidence as we gain more success and we understand more of what our own happiness really is. The fall of our lives tends to be in the fifties and sixties when our lives help us to realize how forgiveness and knowledge and prosperous journeys give us enriching experiences, so we’re often more conscious by this point in our lives and tend to acknowledge our gratitude and find a bit more humility and enjoy our prosperity. So, the winter looks more like the seventies and upwards in our lives, and we tend to look within. We find a more introspective time that gives us the golden opportunity for self-powers of healing and selfbalance. VICTOR FUHRMAN: What’s fascinating to me is that even when I was a child, up to today, the fall is my favorite season. Why would you think that would be so? ANDREW PACHOLYK: That’s

interesting. I think you’re probably drawn to the balance of light which is just the opposite of spring. The temperature or the colors are what you were probably always attracted to. I always say forgiveness and knowledge and prosperity and prosperous journeys tend to be that of the fall personality. That’s true for you. VICTOR FUHRMAN: I think you’ve touched upon that very nicely. There’s something about the changing of the foliage, the leaves, and the colors. The golds and the reds and the browns of the autumn season are just so appealing to me. Now how may we attune our bodies to both nature’s seasons and life’s seasons? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Well, I tend to look at nature as kind of a key or a clue in the process because of the Chinese look at the seasons as something that we endure on the outside, but actually what we experience in our bodies on the inside. So, nature holds the key to even diagnosis process in Chinese medicine. As with fall, there is dampness; as with winter, there is cold. In summer there is heat.

These are all things that our body experiences internally as well. So, trying to align these with the seasons helps keep our body in check or more in the balance as we go. VICTOR FUHRMAN: What elements in nature are applied to each of these seasons? ANDREW PACHOLYK: In Chinese medicine there are five elements. There is a fiveelement theory where wood is one of the elements. In my book, I kept it to the Greek elements, air, earth, fire, and water. So, a lot of times nature again shows us when these elements are in balance, then our bodies tend to be in balance. When they are out of control, it mirrors what can happen inside our body as well. VICTOR FUHRMAN: Are there specific herbs that apply to each of the seasons? What are some of the herbs, for example, that are associated with our current season? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Yes, there are, and each season has herbs and essential oils that can really benefit the body based Omtimes.com

on the season. For instance, in the summer we tend to want to use cooling herbs, cooling foods, to help keep the body at an internal temperature that’s comfortable and cool and just the opposite in the winter. In the fall, we tend to go toward herbs that are more warming, like cinnamon and cardamom. These herbs have a warming effect. Ginger, as well, can be very soothing during the transition from summer to fall and then fall into winter. VICTOR FUHRMAN: Now, in “Lead Us to a Place – Your Spiritual Journey through Life’s Seasons,” you talk a lot about the connection between selfknowledge and our spiritual path. What is that connection? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Well, I have found that the more that we know about ourselves brings us closer to our own spiritual path, or spiritual learning. Learning about who we are as a person, our likes and dislikes, how we react to things and how we handle situations, helps us to be more conscious. These things help us to be more aware of our situation and how we interact Omtimes.com

with other people. VICTOR FUHRMAN: Andrew, You discussed this connection between nature, our bodies, and the seasonal elements. Please give us another couple of examples of what elements are connected with the seasons and how they affect us. ANDREW PACHOLYK: Yes. It’s interesting because each season has its own particular element and, for instance, in springtime, spring is also associated with the air. For example, utilizing the element of air should lead you to a new place in your life. It tends to be what we do in spring, going with the flow, accessing different ideas and concepts that come your way. This is what air does, and the air is associated with the springtime. Summer, on the other hand, is associated with fire. Fire is that go-get-it kind of spirit, and it’s the element that pushes through everything and shows us how we do things in a very fast and furious kind of motion. The element of fall is probably one of my favorites, and that’s earth, probably because I need to be grounded all the time and I tend not to

be. So, the earth is associated with the late-summer season or early fall. It’s associated with the spleen and the stomach in Chinese medicine, and physically earth is the source and provider of all our needs. VICTOR FUHRMAN: I know that you say in your book that in the winter one of the areas of personal growth is coming to terms with the understanding of death. How do you describe that? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Well, it’s something that we all have to endure in time, and at one point or another, and coming to terms with death is a realization that brings us to the forefront of our hard reality. When someone’s passing, expectations become evident, and the process of letting go these expectations is probably one of the hardest lessons that we have to learn. VICTOR FUHRMAN: How do intention, intuition, and selfawareness bring us closer to our spiritual journey? Is there a tool or a technique that people can use to clarify and focus their intention?

ANDREW PACHOLYK: Our intention is the path that we put before us, it’s the seed we plant. Then, using the intuition, which is our absolute ability to censor and know immediately that something in your soul, these tools help with our self-awareness. Selfawareness is that change that you can perceive or that you can participate in if your intention is correct. You change the way that you look at something by your intention, and you follow that through with your intuition. So, this is how it leads us to a more spiritual awakening or a path. With intention you’re basically setting your ground rule or planting that seed, your reason for doing something. So, with your intention in place, you can use the air around you to breathe in, to root you into the ground, or the food to help you grow, which would be your thoughts and how you choose to nourish that seed with those thoughts. Then the water element of this is your ability to flow and let go of that after you’ve set your intention and then you let it go to magnetize your purpose, to bring it back to you. Omtimes.com

VICTOR FUHRMAN: How important is a visualization of the goal to intention? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Visualization is important because it helps you to realize that intention. It gives you the picture to move forward, or a goal to move towards. VICTOR FUHRMAN: How may we learn to develop our sixth sense? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Well, there are three types of processes that you can go to. One is the sensing or sensory perception around you; getting in touch with that perception, that intention, and then working on how you perceive things that come into you, to take them in without judging them. That third process is actually your illumination or your understanding of what your intuition is trying to tell you. It is a process that you have to work on that doesn’t come naturally; especially as we age, we tend to let other things into our mind which confuses that intuition. So, being true to that is very important.

Omtimes.com

VICTOR FUHRMAN: You had mentioned earlier that as children we are much more in tune and trusting of our intuition and, as we age and become adults, less so. How do we learn to trust our feelings, to trust our intuition? ANDREW PACHOLYK: By focusing and by trying actually to tune out all that noise and listen. Listen to what your heart and your body are telling you. Sometimes we get physical sensations, or we get a sense in our heart of knowing, so listening, just listening to that without the external noise around us is a important key to listening and following your intuition. VICTOR FUHRMAN: I think for many in our digital age listening has become a lost art. How do we learn to listen again? ANDREW PACHOLYK: You need to focus on when someone’s speaking to you that your intention or your process is there with them in the present moment, in the now. Sometimes, I notice I’ll be

talking to patients, and their thought is on what they’ve got to cook for dinner, or how they’re going to get home if the trains are running, so being in the present moment is a important key to that. VICTOR FUHRMAN: Our seasonal food choices are important in this practice. How do we adjust our seasonal diet for optimal health and wellbeing? ANDREW PACHOLYK: Well, each season has its own set of foods that can be very helpful in the process. In the summer months, we tend to, or we should be eating more foods that are cooling and cooler, and in the winter months, obviously, foods that warm the internal body and are more nourishing. Spring and fall have foods that are more on the temperate side that help with that transition. VICTOR FUHRMAN: What about eating things that are grown locally in our communities and in our areas? ANDREW PACHOLYK: I think it’s very important. I think it’s

important not only to help those farmers and industries that grow locally to support them, but our bodies are in tune to the local areas from whence we buy food. I notice that a lot of allergies tend to come up when people are not necessarily eating local foods. They’re eating foods that are from other areas or other parts of the world, and a lot of times our bodies are not used to those types of food so they can cause different issues for different people. VICTOR FUHRMAN: Ultimately, how may we create a more purposeful life and where will that lead us? ANDREW PACHOLYK: I think creating a purposeful life is our goal every day. To find the purpose, the reason that we’re here would give us the passion for getting up in the morning every day and doing something that we absolutely love. This is your purpose that will open all doors because you’re doing it with such love and such passion that a lot of times it won’t even seem like work if you’re following your purpose.

THRIVING WITH THE HOLIDAYS

Elson Haas, MD

There’s an inherent conflict between the behaviors we tend to indulge in during the holidays and the

that most of us really looked forward

changes. This imbalance can increase

to this holiday season as one of the best times of the year. Halloween kicks off a two-month long extravaganza of treats, sweets, and gifts — especially for those of us in the U.S. with our Thanksgiving feasting. As we get older, we may start to see this time of year as one of the most challenging: Either with the demands of all the celebrations or with the potential for illness. e been the first general-interest magazine.

our susceptibility to disease — even the flu has its own season! The holidays from Halloween through New Year’s Day all occur in the darker, late autumn and wintertime of the year, which is naturally a more inward time requiring more rest and quiet, plus a simple warm, nourishing diet. OMTIMES

YET, THERE ARE MORE TREATS — AT HOME, WORK AND WHEREVER WE GO — and we are asked to attend parties and family events where we are exposed to and tempted by more delicious sugar and floury products, rich foods, alcohol, and all kinds of goodies. We often go out at night when we would be better off resting and recharging at home or sitting around a fireplace

visiting friends or family.

HEALTH TIPS

So rather than submit to all the temptations of the season, I suggest that you pay attention to these inner dimensions of this magical time of the year and do your best to find your own unique balance.

HERE ARE 10 HEALTH TIPS FOR STAYING HEALTHY THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS.

2. Connect with others: Deepen and

embrace your love of life and important family connections. Emotional nurturance offers a satisfaction that may lessen stress and avoid overeating and the excesses of the holidays. Be a supportive friend to others, yet also ask for support if you need it. Take care of one another. It’s good for your spirit.

1.

Be aware of your body’s needs and be fair to yourself. Most of us can get away with some treats or occasional departures from our usual eating habits. However, if we go to extremes, we may suffer the consequences and get sick. Get to know yourself and find the right balance. Keeping your body’s cells and tissues balanced protects us from illness. Balance comes from obtaining all your needed nutrients while minimizing any toxins.

OMTIMES MAGAZINE

3. Stay open to your creativity. Do new things to improve your health, like a massage or trying some new, healthy foods. The first weeks of November or December (before or after Thanksgiving) are good times to consider doing a nutritional cleanup. Soon there will be many tempting sweets, baked goods, alcoholic beverages, and just too much rich food. Instead of overindulging, apply your energies to projects around the house or writing in your journal, or working on that book you have inside you or doing other creative projects.

4. Maintain your cornerstones of health — the 5 Keys to Staying Healthy. These keys include eating a nourishing and balanced diet, engaging in a regular and varied exercise program, minimizing and letting go of stress, getting adequate sleep and developing and maintaining a good attitude toward life. Staying Healthy also includes being able to relate well to family, friends, and co-workers, which can be particularly demanding during the holiday season!

6. Nutritional supplements

5. Find the basic

supportive foods for your diet that provide the energy and nutrients your body needs to Stay Healthy. In the colder months, it is important to focus on heat generating foods, such as cooked grains and legumes, hard squashes, some nuts, seeds, and protein foods. Also, include some garlic, onion, and ginger for your immune health, plus the energizing spicy peppers such as cayenne and chili. These additions will keep your blood and energy moving. Know what works for you. Ask yourself what’s important for your great health! Then, write down your answers.

For example, here are five personal habits that are important for my own health: • Not eating too much too late in the day • Drinking plenty of good, clean water • Exercising and stretching regularly • Chewing my food very well, and eating more slowly (and less too) • Focusing my diet on vegetables

OMTIMES

can be used to support your health as well. Immune-protective nutrients may help you prevent common colds and other illnesses. Taking the herb echinacea now may be helpful, as well as the Chinese herb, astragalus. Maintaining a daily intake of vitamins C, D, B, and E, along with selenium and zinc can also offer some immune protection and helps to clear your body of certain toxins. You can also consult with your naturally-oriented practitioner to help you with nutritional, herbal or glandular (like thymus or adrenal) therapies that would address your specific health conditions. (Check out my cold busting suggestions below.)

7. Exercise is crucial through the holidays, as in any season. As the weather

cools, stretching is even more important, as is having indoor exercises you can do. Yoga and other flexibility-enhancing movements are helpful for keeping us youthful. An old yoga proverb suggests, “We are as young as our spine is flexible.” Working with weights and doing aerobic exercises are vital to staying fit and strong to support immune function and circulation. A vital body rarely gets sick. You may also want to try some inner exercise — meditate and explore your inner world and your dreams in your restful recharging sleep.

Enjoy safe travels by preparing well and being aware and cautious. 8.

Plan your trips and your packing to stay light and have just what you need, if that’s possible! I also suggest having a printed list, which can be helpful. While traveling, avoid dehydration and eat well; this may involve bringing water and appropriate food/snacks with you on the plane or in your car. If you’re sick or others around you on the plane are sick, you may want to have a mask you can wear. Use natural hand sanitizers, and to reduce exposure, wipe down the areas around your seat. Take a few key supplements with you to ward off all the germ exposures. This includes garlic, vitamin C, and vitamin D. Factors that can weaken immunity include stressful emotions, nutritional deficiencies, excess sugar and alcohol, and overwork. Some Immune Supporters include good sleep, a healthy diet, reducing stress, regular exercise, and feelings of love and appreciation. (See my book, Ultimate Immunity or the Immune Enhancement section in Chapter 16 of my book Staying Healthy with Nutrition.) OMTIMES

9. Prepare for the cold season. Gather your fuel and food for body warmth and protection, and exercise, as you should year around. In Chinese medicine, the Autumn season focuses on the lungs and large intestine. Overdoing it can lead to congestion and toxicity, such as constipation and the clogging of the nose and sinuses. This can lead to upper respiratory infections as the germs grow in the mucus and then inflame the membranes. Staying clean and clear this season, along with a healthy immune system, will help keep you well.

OMTIMES

• NOVEMBER | B

To help clear the sinuses, cleanse them with water in the shower, or try facial steam—breathing in the aromatic herbal mist (you can use mints, rosemary, chamomile, lemon verbena, and other herbs).

10. Take a rest now because the

demanding holiday season is just around the corner. Do not burn your batteries out before later December. Kindle your inner flame and firepower, which can protect you from the invasion of harsh climates and germs. The Winter blues come partly from a loss of this inner fire energy. Shifting and balancing with the seasons is vital to Staying Healthy.

An Extra Note on Colds & Flu We all need to be more diligent these months to not get sick with colds and flu. Getting a flu shot is a personal choice (most often), and it often helps protect us from certain viral strains that may be active this season, but it’s not all viruses. Therefore, it doesn’t replace your own actions of self-care. If you do get any colds or flu, it is best to take action immediately. Increase fluids, especially hot teas, many of which can help fight colds, like echinacea, goldenseal, and others. Also, add: Vitamin C - I start with hourly vitamin C of 5001000 mg, Vitamin A – I take, and often suggest, increased doses of vitamin A (not beta-carotene) – 25,000-50,000 IUs 3-4 times daily for just 3-4 days and then lower that dosage to 10-25,000 IUs twice daily for about a week. Then take a break since excess vitamin A can be toxic if taken too long in these higher amounts. Although when we are fighting off infections, it doesn’t seem to be problematic and these higher amounts help us fight off germs at our mucous membranes. Garlic - I also use fresh garlic, taking several cloves at a time, dipping them in honey and chewing them. I may repeat this several times for the first day; alternatively, you can press a few cloves into a hot bowl of soup. Garlic is a spicy and aromatic natural antibiotic and immune defender; you could also use the odorless garlic caps, several capsules 3 times daily, if you do not want the smell, but they are not quite as effective. Echinacea and Goldenseal as an extract (in alcohol) can also be used to support immunity and cleanse the membranes; even the alcohol in them is a disinfectant. Olive leaf extract – this mild anti-viral herb can provide some support as well. Hydration - of course, drink lots of water, herbal teas, and hot soup. Rest - and remember that extra rest helps in healing. Often, we get sick when we are out of balance or overdoing it, so a cold gives us the opportunity to rest and sleep.

Childhood Trauma May Leave You Vulnerable To Abuse As An Adult Marcia Sirota Author, speaker, coach, and MD

Being abused as a child convinces them that they’re “bad,” and they deserve the same mistreatment in their adult relationships. Spring has arrived, and thoughts turn to love. Those who are already in relationships Omtimes.com

are enjoying all the benefits of couple-hood. Some people, however, aren’t very happy at all. These are the ones who are in abusive relationships. The term, “abusive relationship” is thrown around a lot, but what does it really mean? In my experience as a therapist, it’s a relationship that causes more harm than good. It’s an interaction that’s damaging and undermining as opposed to loving, supportive and uplifting. An abusive relationship can be hurtful in any number of ways — physically, emotionally, sexually or financially. The abuser is often contemptuous, crazy-making, humiliating, intimidating and/or rejecting. This type of relationship makes the abused person feel diminished and humiliated. It makes them feel stupid, ugly, useless and undeserving of good things. The abuser may even make their victim feel incompetent and incapable of self-care or of holding down a job. Abusers are ultra-controlling

and hyper-critical. They may separate their partner from their support system and from anyone who could point out what the abuser is actually doing. They destroy their partner’s confidence and convince their partner that they can’t survive without them. Sometimes, they’ll threaten to attack their partner if they talk about leaving the relationship. They don’t mean to do this, but their trauma history sets them up for it. A romantic connection should make both partners happy. The relationship should bring out the best in both people and make them feel good about themselves. It should be predominantly enjoyable and enriching, and less frequently unpleasant or stressful. Abusive relationships have the opposite effect. So how might someone get into a relationship that becomes abusive? From my years of working as a psychotherapist, I’ve observed five reasons that come up often. These all have one thing in

Omtimes.com

common, in that each of them originates in childhood trauma. A child who grows up with severe abuse, neglect or both develops attitudes, expectations, beliefs and psychological defense mechanisms which can make them more susceptible to being mistreated as adults. They don’t mean to do this, but their trauma history sets them up for it. Here are the five reasons why people get into abusive relationships: Not feeling like they’re deserving of a good relationship The child who grows up in a hurtful environment takes it personally when they’re mistreated. Children believe that it’s their fault when others hurt them. Being abused as a child convinces them that they’re “bad,” and they deserve the same mistreatment in their adult relationships. Expecting the worst from people because it’s familiar The things that happen to

Omtimes.com

us in childhood become our “normal.” If we were abused as a child, we grow up believing that this is the way everyone will treat us. In our minds, it’s just the way things are. When an abusive person comes along, we figure, that’s the nature of romantic relationships. The repetition compulsion Some victims of childhood abuse are driven by powerful unconscious needs for healing. They’re repeatedly drawn to people who remind them of their hurtful parent(s), and they compulsively try to change these hurtful people into loving, caring ones. The underlying wish is to rewrite their story with a new ending and thereby heal themselves. Unfortunately, this never works, and all that happens is that they stay in abusive relationships, waiting and hoping for the transformation that will never come. It’s important to stress that when someone gets involved with an abuser, it’s not their fault. Blind spots for abusive people

Many people who were abused as a child found it much too painful to face the truth about their parents. It was too difficult to see them as cruel or neglectful because these were the people who were supposed to love and protect them. As adults, it hurts too much to acknowledge the truth about Mom or Dad. Unfortunately, this denial around their parents has a tendency to extend to everyone in their adult life. They’re unable to see abusive partners for who they really are, no matter how badly these people treat them.

with an abuser, it’s not their fault. They’re not being “stupid” or “crazy” or “asking for it.” The wounds from their childhood have set them up for abuse in their adult relationships. They’re not making a choice consciously or deliberately.

They’re set up as prey

Knowing what’s at the heart of a person’s seemingly selfdestructive choices, their friends and family can be more supportive, especially around helping them find the appropriate therapeutic resources.

People with a history of childhood trauma tend to carry emotional wounds and are therefore more susceptible to being preyed upon by abusers. They walk around with poor self-confidence, feelings of unworthiness and a sense of “learned helplessness” that comes from not having been able to escape the abuse as a child. Predators see them as easy marks and will exploit their vulnerability. It’s important to stress that when someone gets involved

I hope that when people understand why they find themselves in abusive relationships, they can recognize the trauma that’s driving their behavior and begin to seek out healing.

It’s time to stop criticizing and blaming the victims of abusive relationships. We need to be more understanding toward them and help them find the emotional healing that will enable them to make better relationship choices, moving forward.

Are Relationships Spiritual Lessons for Us? By John Holland

Did you know that relationships are mirror images of your own life? Relationships are affected by what’s going on in your life.

Omtimes.com

It’s all about how you feel and treat yourself, as well as how you react and respond to different situations and people that are around you. All relationships (whether they’re on an emotional, physical, mental, or spiritual level) are all part of the learning process and should nurture and enlighten your soul. No matter what category a relationship falls into, it acts as a teaching tool for you to understand the lessons that your soul needs to learn at that time in your life. While you may not necessarily understand why you enter into a new relationship at the time, it can help you to understand, change, or enhance your individual qualities. Do remember, that every relationship is an opportunity for soul growth. Different types of relationships have an uncanny way of showing you what you need to work on in your life. At times, they

can reveal your vulnerabilities and insecurities, or your need for attention, approval, and acceptance. Equally, they can identify where you may be stuck in a rut, or even where you need love, peace, healing, or joy in your life. Relationships of all kinds are really about you, even in the hardest situations. As I’ve said: “They’re meant to be mirrors for us, always reflecting back what we need to see. The question is: Do you want to look in this mirror, and be open to what you need to learn, or simply pretend it’s not there and pass it by?”

JOHN’S LESSON Please remember not all relationships have to be oneon-one with just one individual. They can be with a group, an organization, a pet, or even an incident or situation. It’s always worth taking time to journal the relationships you’ve had in the past, and

Omtimes.com

see if they’ve guided you in the direction of where you are now, or did they lead you away from your purpose? On another page, I’d encourage you to write down all the relationships that are happening in your life right now.

“Are the people in my life empowering and encouraging me to be all that I can be?”

Here are a few questions you might want to ask yourself:

Of course, I should stress that some relationships are simply there for you to experience love or it could be showing you what you don’t want in your next relationship. So when it’s time to develop a relationship, you’ll be more aware and can manifest the type of relationship you want – one that serves your highest purpose. Whatever the case, when you learn to open your heart and view the relationship through the eyes of your soul, you’ll discover an even better relationship that’s waiting for you – the relationship of your soul-self.

“What am I learning from this relationship?” “What qualities am I developing as a result of this relationship?” “Is this relationship for my highest good?” “How can I make this relationship better?” “Are we learning from each other?” “What have I learned or still learning about myself through this relationship?”

Omtimes.com

Within every relationship, there’s an encoded lesson that you’ve hopefully learned or still need to learn.

Live a Soul-filled life!

How to practice Ho’oponopono By Humanity Healing

I believe we all have heard the story of a Hawaiian therapist who cured a whole ward of insane criminal patients without ever finding any of them or spending a moment in the same room?

Omtimes.com

It’s not a joke. The therapist was Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. He analyzed each of the patients’ files and then healed using Ho’oponopono, himself. The surprising results seemed like a miracle. But, miracles do happen when you use Ho’oponopono. Anyone who has had the pleasure of attending one of his lectures and started practicing Ho’oponopono has undoubtedly achieved results that are often surprising. Do you need a miracle? What you may want to do is understand how this can work. How can you heal yourself and still restore others? How can you treat yourself? Why does it affect anything “out there”? The secret is that there is no such thing as “out there” - whatever happens to you in your mind and your energy field, everything you see, everything you hear,

every person you meet, you experience in your mind. You just think it’s “out there” and so takes away any responsibility. But that is not the truth, you are responsible for everything you think, and everything that comes to your attention. If you see the news, everything you hear on the news is your responsibility. This sounds heavy, but it means that you are also able to withdraw, clean, and through forgiveness, change. Ho’oponopono is a practice that aggregate 4 different attitudes to present useful results: Remorse, forgiveness, gratitude, and love. These 4 attitudes are forces that together can gather incredible power in changing our lives. Ho’oponopono is an exercise that you can do it yourself. You do not need anyone to be there, you do not need anyone to listen to you, all you need is your intention.

Omtimes.com

You can “say” the words silently in your head. The high power comes from the feeling and disposition of the Universe to forgive and to love. Step 1: Repentance – Sorry We know you are responsible for everything in your mind, even though it seems to be “out there.” Once you realize that, it is very natural to feel regretful, sad. If I hear that a storm hurts people, they should be filled with remorse when they realize that something in their consciousness has created that idea. Imagine the suffering that a stormy rain can cause in many families. That perception can be painful, and you’ll probably resist accepting responsibility for the “out-of-the-box” type of problems until you start practicing this method. So start by choosing something you already

Omtimes.com

know that you have caused for yourself, such as being overweight, nicotine addiction, alcohol, or some other substance. Or you can focus on the anger you feel or the health problems. Start now to say that you are sorry. Here’s the step: “I’m sorry.” It may be even more powerful if you say it more clearly as “I realize that I am responsible for (SAY THE PROBLEM) in my life and I feel terrible remorse for something in my consciousness has caused it.” Once you become accustomed to facing your responsibility for the world’s problems, do the technique by apologizing/regretting the difficulties the world faces, because one way or another, we are all contributing to the unconscious Mind of the world. Step 2: Ask for forgiveness - PLEASE FORGIVE ME Do not worry about whom you are asking for forgiveness. Just say: PLEASE FORGIVE ME.

Say it over and over again. Remember the remorse of step 1 to honestly feel that you should ask for forgiveness and want to be forgiven. Step 3: Gratitude THANK YOU Say “thank you,” Again it does not matter to whom you say this or what you are thanking. Be appreciative of what your body does for you, for example. Thank yourself for being the best you can be. Thank God. Thank the Universe. Be thankful for everything and everyone who has forgiven you. Keep in the habit of saying thank you and practicing gratitude. Step 4: Love - I love you This can also be step 1. Say “I love you.” Tell it to your body. Tell God. Say “I love you” to the air you breathe, to the house that houses you. Say I love you for your challenges. Say it repeatedly. Say willingly, truthfully, feel. There is

nothing as powerful as Love. This is the whole practice in a nutshell. Simple and surprisingly effective. Take the test, and you will see how your life will change positively. It is inevitable that at some point we will disappoint ourselves. So forgiving is vital so that life can be lived more lightly. I make mistakes, you make mistakes, your neighbor makes mistakes, your boss makes mistakes and even the most spiritual person mistakes, we all make mistakes. Recognizing our mistakes is a significant step toward our liberation and self-knowledge. Knowing how to look with more compassion for ourselves instead of judging ourselves all the time is what will make a difference on the path of forgiveness.

Feng Shui:

Activating a FU Talisman By Kartar Diamond

A talisman is an object that has been infused with personal and divine energy to fulfill a stated purpose. The Chinese or Taoist type of talisman is

Omtimes.com

called a “fu” (pronounced like foo) and is often an inscription on consecrated paper. In Western occult practices, they are called sigils. Through a variety of ritualistic and meditative practices, the FU is charged with intent and then transferred from the person who crafted it to the designated beneficiary. You can call it a “magic spell” or a lucky charm, but in any case, there is a transcendental component to its power. If everything has meaning and impact, then words and symbols most definitely have an influence. This influence may take flight from one psyche to the other, or it may also manifest as a real transmission of energy via other dimensional planes. These are techniques to manipulate time and space in a way that may be regarded as superstitious by some or as an advanced technology by others. The Purpose in Crafting a Fu

A special bond is created between the person who crafts and charges the FU object and the person who is the beneficiary of its intent. Learning how to create these talismans takes some training. Within many cultures and spiritual paths, the rituals or incantations are intended to improve a person’s fate, speed up an outcome, or have the outcome of an event be more in the recipient’s favor. An example would be a FU that is crafted to help the recipient become victorious over some problem that has been plaguing them, such as a legal battle, health issues, struggles with finances, or other human conditions. How A FU Talisman Is Made As if taken from a metaphysical recipe Book of Potions, the FU is created using meaningful symbols, invocations, and supplications to higher dimensional beings, ruling aspects of nature and cosmological forces. Many

Omtimes.com

protocols are taken into consideration, including the materials used like paper or crystals, incense, essential oils, and other natural substances. The astrological timing for crafting and charging the FU is also factored in to be more effective. Ultimately, it is all about the power of the practitioner’s mind and set up circumstances where it is easier for higher frequencies and higher levels of consciousness to be accessed. The goal is to cut through the “red tape” of time and space and help a person in need when more mundane methods are not enough or lacking in some way. Similarly, since the beginning of Time, people from every walk of life have utilized the power of prayer; but even the atheist can benefit if they are open-minded to laws of physics not yet largely understood. It is essential for the FU to be charged with a hefty

Omtimes.com

amount of meditation on behalf of the recipient. Activating a FU Talisman Once the FU has been created by the practitioner, they can hand deliver or send the FU through the mail to the recipient. The recipient is then instructed on how to switch on this “charged battery.” The more common types of activation methods can include wearing the FU (such as in a wallet or amulet). Other times it is preferable to place the FU somewhere specific in the house, buried in the ground, or even turned to ashes and dispersed. From the ancient times that the FU talisman tradition comes from, it was even common for the FU (when made of all natural, non-toxic materials) to be activated by eating it! How to have a Successful Business Anywhere

Whether in Iceland or Korea, at the seashore or in the desert, inside a fancy restaurant or walking down a littered alleyway, it’s your definitions of the place you’re

Omtimes.com

in that dictates what benefits and possibilities you can receive there. In any of those locations you could meet someone inspirational, find a valuable item, or be struck with an incredible business idea, but if you’ve already concluded what’s possible, you’ll miss the gift. How much have you determined what your business needs and what it should look like based on your location? All the definitions you have regarding anywhere you do business keeps you from recognizing the possibilities available to you. All of the considerations you have about where, who, when, and ‘how much’ are limitations that prohibit you from being as successful as you can be. Creating a thriving business requires continuously asking questions. Instead of relying on the definitions from a particular culture, trend, or location, asking what is available – no matter where

you are or what you’re up to – gives you access to possibilities that you wouldn’t otherwise be aware of. Here are a few questions you can start asking to go beyond definitions and to create a life and business beyond limits: What else is available here that I haven’t yet acknowledged? Recognize that every environment has far more possibilities that may be readily obvious. This allows much more to contribute to you in unexpected ways. You have to be willing to ask this question without immediately going back to conclusions about an answer. Knowing what’s genuinely available requires asking from a place of total openness to what can show up. If you’ve lived in a particular place or had your business for some time, there are countless reference points for how things usually work. Instead of relying on trends

Omtimes.com

and experience, keep asking what else is available. What if you could ‘out-create’ everyone, including yourself, by acknowledging what no one else is choosing? Truly successful people are willing to go beyond definitions. They ask about all the possibilities that allow them to be different. What or who else can I add to my life and business that will generate the most? Most of the world limit their success by the definitions they have about what’s actually required. They calculate what’s needed and stick to those conclusions. When you ask what else you can add, you begin to recognize that there are infinite possibilities for how to generate more money, more ease, and more fun, beyond whatever conclusions you have. Who or what can you add that will expand your business and your life? To have access to new possibilities, you have

Omtimes.com

to do something different. Do you require a different bookkeeper, extra file storage, or just a new outlook? Asking the question is like opening the windows and letting in fresh air. When you ask, new energy can flow in. In what ways am I superior? Being superior is not the same as claiming superiority. Superiority is based on judgment. Being superior is acknowledging the capacities you have that really allow you to shine. Most people hold back their brilliance to fit in or not stand out too much. To excel in your life and business, you have to be willing to acknowledge where you are superior and allow that to work for you wherever you go. Anywhere you’re unwilling to be as great as you are where you have your success under lock and key. It’s where you’re withholding the gift you truly are from the world.

What would it be like to create my business as a global citizen? As a global citizen, you no longer restrict yourself to the definitions of a particular place. Instead, you’re open and available to receive from everyone and everything. Everywhere you go, others are defining what’s possible for them based on where they are and countless other conclusions. When you know this, you can choose to engage with them accordingly. Global citizenship includes being aware of what others are choosing while acknowledging what’s truly available. Creating from this place allows limitless expansion beyond definition. When you choose to create through the question, you avoid holding yourself back because of what you’ve determined is appropriate, acceptable, or available where you are. Be willing to be aware of what your choices will create.

Whether in the mountains or the jungle, a mansion or a tent, it’s your definitions that keep you from thriving. Wherever you are, whatever you’re up to, what else is truly available that you’ve never considered? The Art of Living in the Present

After my husband passed, a whirl of past and future danced in my mind. The sad movie of every memory we shared played endlessly: there he was on the night we met, the wildly handsome young man with a heavy mustache. Then we were waltzing on the dance floor of the restaurant he owned, stepping into our new home, toasting across the dinner table, Omtimes.com

and cradling our baby daughter. My heart was anywhere but in the present, oscillating between painful “what ifs” and still more painful “if onlys.” Doubt weighed down the hours. With time I realized that I had to release my sadness and reclaim my joy, and that I could do this only by detaching from what happened or might happen and

diving into what was happening then and there. Being in tune with time is an art, a true skill. As with anything else, it requires self-mastery. But its rewards are invaluable: peace of mind and greater understanding. After all, you exist in this very moment, not one hour ago or in two weeks from now. If you’re having trouble remaining in the present, take these seven actions to help return you to right now: Don’t try to escape the moment. Your present may involve much struggle and confusion, but trying to evade the situation won’t help you resolve it. Accept what’s happening with a calm mind and courageous heart. “Fighting the tide” will cause you to sink. Relinquish your resistance and fear, as these emotions only prolong your problems. You will be surprised at how powerful you’ll prove to be against the things that scare you the most. Your obligation to be present holds true through both good and bad, so stand tall and face each moment. Embrace your pain. It’s okay to feel pain; it’s as much a part of life as every other emotion. Many people are afraid to

hurt because they forget that suffering actually makes them stronger. Let your pain come and go, allowing it to run its course with no hesitation. Cry if you’re upset. Yell and beat a pillow if you’re angry. Pain is your most powerful emotion, in fact, since it strikes more deeply than other feelings. Pain fortifies you, each time with a new coat of endurance. Harness its full force by utilizing the creativity, ingenuity, and resourcefulness that come with feeling hurt. After pain subsides, resilience resurfaces. Ground yourself. Refocus on the present when you get carried away by yesterday’s sorrows or tomorrow’s anxieties. Sit or stand with your feet planted firmly into the ground and clear your mind. If possible, stand outside barefoot and allow the energy from the earth to rise through you. Place your hands on something (a table, wall, tree, etc.). Concentrate on how that object feels, its surface, size, and texture. Run your palms across it. Inhale deeply and notice what you smell in the air: is it plants, food, a candle? What do you hear: the TV, birds chirping, kids playing? What do you taste Omtimes.com

on your tongue? Immerse your five senses in your surroundings to reel yourself back into the present. Understand that you need to be in no other place than where you are now. Project a better future. No matter what you’re going through, you can always choose to envision a more positive future. This helps you feel in control of what’s to come instead of feeling anxious about it. Allow yourself to daydream, imagining the best possible outcome for your efforts and the most favorable solution to your problems. Also perform actions that are reflective of the good things you’re planning. If you have an upcoming interview, for example, buy yourself a brand new outfit in which you feel sharp and confident. Your mind is a magnet for the outside world, steadily manifesting your thoughts. Preparing for blessings to come increases their likelihood. As I like to say, reality reflects what the mind projects. Remember what didn’t go wrong. We’re quick to obsess over the bad and hesitant to admit the good. This creates a disproportion in our thoughts, Omtimes.com

placing emphasis on the heavy, fearful ones. Remind yourself of all the times you were divinely protected and spared from something truly bad. This will break the pattern of fretting over the future. You can influence the course of events once you’ve learned to calm your mind and control your thoughts. After all, you are the architect of your life. Welcome new joys. After my husband passed, I felt guilty when I wasn’t sad; it almost felt wrong to be happy without him. But I reminded myself that he wouldn’t want me to suffer, and slowly I reintegrated new reasons to be content. Allow happiness to return to you in new forms. Never put conditions on being in good spirits or having continued faith. Even if you’re experiencing health issues or financial burdens, you have many other sources of fulfillment. The ability to multiply and expand your happiness is entirely yours because joy is your birthright. Make necessary changes. Change forces you to pay attention, remain present, and take action. There’s no better

feeling after a difficult ordeal is over than a shift in scenery and environment. Don’t be afraid to make the improvements you’ve been putting off: move to a different location, get a better job, find new friends, and so on. Staying stuck in the same circumstances will cause you to revert constantly to the past. But seeking exciting possibilities and hopeful opportunities will teach you to honor this precious moment in time. Living in the present may not always be easy to do, but it will restore elements of incredible well-being. Relationships The interconnectiveness among all human beings and, consequently, the relationships among us are the focus of this section. The dynamics of the web of connections we make is one of the most prominent aspects of human existence: how we interlace with each other’s existence in a meaningful way.

How do we fall out of Love? The 3 more common reason this happens. By Ascending Hearts Dating

We all know what love is, the phases it goes through, and what it takes to keep it alive. But ... what happens to the stage of “dis-passion?

Omtimes.com

Yes, falling out of love or “dis-passion also happens. We fall in love, but we can become disenchanted. The question is why and how it happens. Can we avoid it? Or are we always going to be unhappy over time? The Physical and mental attraction When we fall in love with someone, we are attracted to that person. So why do we suddenly cease to be attracted to them? Do we get tired of our partner? Attraction is one of the earliest stages of passion that can diminish over time. The nervousness we felt when we received a call, for example, was left behind, when the person invited us to go somewhere, or when they wanted to surprise us, too. Our body has changed. We are no longer the same. The routine began to take effect. 1. The power of routine Monotony tends to take over when a relationship is not

cultivated in its many different stages. Where is that which surprised us before? For some, the routine kills the spontaneity. Sometimes we tend to diminish the physical contact with our partners and begin to repress public affection demonstrations, measuring even the tender and loving words. Boredom and routine can tire a loving connection. 2. Destructive Criticism Have you asked yourself why at the beginning of your relationship everything was perfect and now is not more? How, suddenly, all these defects resolved to appear? Were we blind? This is also one of the phases of love when we see the best qualities. We raised them at first, but when we can see them as they are, they no longer please us. We began to get tired of those behaviors we once tolerated, and we no longer care to say everything we think to our partner without considering whether we are

Omtimes.com

hurting him or not. Before we tried to be more empathetic, more understanding ... and suddenly we became slaves to complaints, annoyances, and even arguments. 3. Lack of communication The most essential element in any relation: communication. Never sub-estimate the power of dialogue and connection. Without this element, there is no interconnection, and the relationship will be lost. You need to be constantly interacting with the partner. Not only exchanging ideas per se but sharing intentions, life goals, emotions and trust each other. All this is also lost when the attraction ends and when we begin to see defects. We no longer recognize our partner. We often perceive them as strangers. The fine line of affection Of course, you have heard this phrase “I no longer love you, but I have a lot of affection for you. All the previous ends at this point. This is where

Omtimes.com

the line dividing the love of affection is correct. Although we are disenchanted, we may continue to feel tenderness, and still caring for that person with whom we share part of our life. There were good and bad times, and we lived all of them. They may have been a vital part of our lives, but the love is entirely over. And now comes the big question: can you avoid the heartbreak of falling out of love? It depends. Not all couples can preserve love over time, so many people think love has an expiration date. Perhaps the affinity that exists and the type of personality of your partner influences the duration of love. Good humor, positivism, doing things together, having fun. This usually helps, but it depends on how we dream and how we feel. All love between couples ends up turning into affection? Do you believe that it is possible to avoid heartbreak?

HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH A NARCISSIST? A narcissist is someone with an extreme sense of entitlement, blames you for their problems, is manipulative and has no empathy. Narcissistic abuse may be mental, physical, financial, spiritual or sexual. If you have been through an abusive relationship with someone who has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, you will know that no one understands what you are going through unless they have personally experienced it. In this excerpt from her book, You Can Thrive After Narcissistic Abuse (Watkins November, 2018), Melanie Tonia Evans describes the five ways you will know you are in a narcissistic relationship‌ Omtimes.com

Five Major Signs of Narcissism Having worked with thousands of people around the world, I have found that, irrespective of age, race, gender, race, religion, sexual preference or who the narcissist is (such as a spouse, lover, family member, friend, colleague or boss), narcissism is narcissism. If you are having any doubts about whether or not you are involved with someone with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), take a look at the following: 1. Emotional insecurity Despite the commonly held belief that ‘narcissists are full of themselves’, the experience of living with a narcissist shows us a completely different reality once their mask has started to crack. Narcissists are hugely insecure and react on a hair-trigger to things that average adults simply don’t get upset about. Their over-sensitivity is extreme. When narcissists erupt into a narcissistic rage, their anger is a reaction to a perceived threat to the narcissist’s fragile self-esteem or self-worth. This type of threat is known as

‘narcissistic injury’. Perhaps you spoke appreciatively about a colleague – and all of a sudden, the narcissist is ripping your head off for being disloyal, or even accuses you of having an affair? If the narcissist doesn’t receive enough attention in a group setting, he or she may stir up trouble or exit the scene, only to chastise you later and degrade you and anyone else perceived to have stolen the limelight. This insecurity may be so extreme that it provokes incredible jealousy and envy that can’t be assuaged. It doesn’t matter who the narcissist is in your own life – you will painfully experience their insecurities in the form of accusations directed at you. Taking it out on you is just something that narcissists do. 2. An extreme sense of entitlement If you share your life with a narcissist, you will quickly discover they have an unreasonable sense of entitlement – it truly is all about them – and very poor peripheral vision when it

Omtimes.com

comes to anyone else’s needs. A narcissist’s self-absorption, which is an integral part of their inner wiring, means they believe they deserve preferential treatment over and above all others. They will push people’s boundaries without hesitation and go for whatever they can get away with, while their real agenda remains cloaked in charm, flattery and feigned care. No matter how good it looks to others, any deal brokered by a narcissist is underpinned by a desire to obtain the best of the spoils, regardless of who else might suffer in the process. Without conscience or as much as a backward glance, a narcissist will throw all and sundry under a bus when the time comes for them to collect, including their spouse, family and even their children. If you grew up in a narcissistic family, this kind of behavior constitutes your ‘normal’ version of life. When it comes to boundaries, you will be used to the idea that whatever is yours is the narcissist’s; and as for your rights – what

Omtimes.com

rights exactly? However, if connecting with a narcissist later in life, in all likelihood you didn’t see this coming, because initially the narcissist made you believe they had your back; that they cared for you and loved you genuinely, and that they saw, heard and valued you. After trusting and allowing someone in to your life at the deepest level, it can be devastating to realize this person is actually gobbling up your space, energy, attention and resources, and emptying you out, without any remorse while doing so. 3. Circular arguments that don’t make sense One of the surest ways to identify an NPD sufferer is the way they argue. Over the years, I have identified numerous ways in which narcissists use diversionary tactics when in conflict situations. Their defense mechanisms range from being subtly manipulative to displays of downright nasty, out-of-bounds behavior. These tactics are so common among narcissists and the expressions they use are so consistent word for word that it is almost eerily

uncanny; frequently used phrases include refrains such as ‘you didn’t let me finish what I was saying’ and ‘just because I didn’t say what you wanted to hear’ and ‘you are the only person I have any problems with’. (Believe me, there are so many others!) Long before you have identified what is going on during these sorts of conversations, you may well feel terribly anxious and traumatized, and wonder if you are losing your mind. You will probably be bamboozled as to why you appear to be arguing over and over about basic points with someone who apparently refuses to get it. It’s like disagreeing with an angry five-year-old who won’t remain on topic, or be held accountable, or learn from previous behavior. Finally, perhaps after hours, days or even weeks, you think you’ve won the debate and the narcissist really does understand your point of view, only then to discover evidence that, shockingly, nothing was resolved in the first place – and now you are back at square one.

In his or her grandiose selfdelusion, a narcissist is covering up a fragile inner identity – and thereby creating and acting out a different script of ‘who’ he or she would like to be. The lies begin very early on in relationships with narcissists, because lying is an ingrained part of their identity. A narcissist is likely to lie and brag about accomplishments in his or her past, as well as complain about how poorly they have been treated by those with whom they have had fractured adult relationships – which is usually a gross projection and distortion of what the narcissist has done to others. Moreover, narcissists believe their own lies, which is why they can be such convincing deceivers, often attracting a host of minions who believe in them. Grown adults with integrity can’t imagine why another grown adult would say such terrible things about anybody else – in explicit detail – unless it were true. Especially when that person appears credible and can look you in the eye while doing so.

4. Pathological lying

Many narcissists lead double

lives. They are attracted to breaking rules and subverting authority. Likewise, the sanctity and exclusivity of marriage threaten to reduce them to ‘normality’ (which feels like emotional annihilation to a narcissist). Therefore, they are often associated with criminal and extra-marital activities, behaviors that are concealed and lied about so that they can retain the things in their lives that provide them with enough stability to remain functioning. Due to the falseness, lies and deception associated with narcissistic behavior – forever seeking more acclaim, notoriety and the envy of others – no matter how successful a narcissist’s life looks, scratch beneath the surface and you will often find a countless number of disasters waiting to strike. I know that if you have been narcissistically abused, you too will have discovered shocking truths that you never thought could happen to you. Your life becomes a surreal bad dream and the person

Omtimes.com

standing in front of you bears no resemblance to the person you thought you were having a relationship with. 5. Blaming you for their problems One of the most insane and devastating parts of narcissist abuse is the projection tactics that narcissists use. Narcissists, quite simply, accuse you of all the things that they do themselves. I can’t remember the number of times I screamed at my ex, ‘Have you looked at yourself in the mirror?’ when I was accused of being selfish, uncaring, moody, using people to do my bidding, wanting him for his money (what money!) and of course adultery, which I later discovered he’d been guilty of all along. Too many people misguidedly end up staying in a relationship while suffering this sort of abuse in an attempt to prove to the narcissist that they are not to blame, or because they are genuinely trying to unravel who really is the abuser and who is the victim – while

feeling great shame and confusion in the process. Rest assured, a narcissist will have no qualms about throwing you metaphorically to the wolves if they think the need arises. They will talk about you in disparaging ways to others – labelling you as the abuser and smearing you to the key people in your life. Narcissists are used to operating within the thresholds of drama and pain, and even in extreme situations which would stress out normal people, they appear high functioning and therefore credible. In stark contrast, you are likely to seem like a lunatic while you struggle to hold it all together. Devastatingly, the important people in your life will \\often start to believe the narcissist. You might even lose your job because of discussions that a narcissist has behind your back with your boss and colleagues. All of this isolates the victims of narcissists yet further, pushing them into a deep abyss of helplessness and powerlessness, while, like a stealth bomber, the

narcissist continues to pillage and rape their soul and life.

8 Steps to Remember Your Dreams By Humanity Healing

You may even say no, but the fact is that everyone dreams. Also if you cannot remember, they happen every night - it’s up to you to practice if you

Omtimes.com

want to keep them fresh in your memory. Do you Want to know how to remember dreams? Write down these valuable tips and put this plan into practice. HOW TO REMEMBER DREAMS? STEP BY STEP While some people are able to remember dreams in rich detail, others have no idea how to remember them. The fact is that several factors can affect the memory blocking it or limiting it. Therefore it is necessary to put into practice some techniques to develop it. Dreams are manifestations of the soul, they are capable of guiding, of warning or taming the dreamer’s feelings. Through them, one will have access to information that one’s conscious mind will not normally let him access. Consequently, understanding their importance is fundamental to making good use of the following steps,

allowing one to remember and interpret each of these signals correctly. 1. ACCEPT YOUR DREAMS It may seem absurd, but many of the people who cannot remember their dreams end up blocking those memories unconsciously. This happens when you are afraid of waking up under the lousy feeling of a nightmare, or a dream that brings up unwanted memories, or even having a restless night and cannot relax. In the great majority of cases, the lack of recollection is reversible, and for this, it is necessary to relax and accept the dreams, as well as the respective meanings that come with them. 2. RELAX AND KEEP FOCUS It is important to prepare yourself before going to bed. The second step is to learn how to relax and think about what you would like to dream about. Now tell yourself

Omtimes.com

that when you wake up, you would also like to remember what you dreamed about. This technique can increase the chances not only to control the theme of dreams but also to keep the story in its memory. The subconscious start noticing that you are paying attention to the messages and will increase the clarity of your dreams. 3. HOLD THE MEMORY Before you get out of bed or even change your position when you wake up, stand still and calmly for a minute, and with your eyes closed, go over the scenes of the dream you just had. This process can help you hold onto them and make memories more accessible. Put the information in order and establish a timeline for subconscious events. Turn the scenes into a story with beginning, middle and end, or at least something with some temporal logic.

Omtimes.com

4. WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN The fourth step and perhaps the most important of them is to write down everything you remember as soon as you wake up. To do this, have a little book and pen next to the bed, and leave it always open on a blank page. If you wake up at dawn and remember something, go to the notebook and write down everything that comes to mind; can be in the form of keywords or how to find it easier. Pay attention to details such as the people present in the dream, the scenery, the relevant objects, and other high points. If you are able to read during your dreams, register the words, you may identify their meaning later. 5. RECORD YOUR DREAMS For those who wake up too dizzy or sleepy, you can opt for a voice recorder to record what you experienced during the night. It is worth telling

the whole story or again releasing just a few keywords to then transcribe the audio to a piece of paper or to a file on your computer where you can better organize this information. 6. DO NOT INTERRUPT YOUR SLEEP Another valuable way to remember dreams is to sleep until you wake up, simply. No interruptions by alarm clocks, external noises or someone calling you. This can make you have to stop dreaming process, wake up confused and still forget everything in just a few seconds. With this information in mind, it’s a good idea to start practicing these steps on a weekend, holiday, or another time when you do not have to get up early the next day. 7. GIVE IMPORTANCE TO FLASHBACKS Throughout the day, it is possible that you may experience some

flashbacks of the dreams you had. Do not ignore these views. When you have some recollection of what happened, again reach for your notebook and make the appropriate notes. 8. TELL THE DREAM TO SOMEONE If you have not been interrupted and you can’t take note, or at least keep the details of your dream in mind, it can be quite advantageous to tell it to another person even if it sounds like the greatest of absurdities. As you tell the story, it is possible that some new insights occur, and that you can add new information to the context. In another important note, if you have the presence or the training of “waking”uo inside your dreams (a Lucid Dreaming technique) you may ask for clarity during the process of dreaming, and your subconscious will try to oresent the symbols, elements and facts through a different angle in order to be heard.

“I refuse to commit the fashionable stupidity of regarding everything I cannot explain as a fraud.” — Carl Jung, Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who founded analytical psychology

There are many things happening in our world which require tossing aside assumptions and preconceived notions that cannot be explained by modern science. The Borders of Normal explores, through lived experience, a wide variety of paranormal phenomena, including neardeath and out-of-body experiences, encounters with message-bearing apparitions, precognitive dreams, telepathy, visions, and more. At first reluctant to share his own experiences, Dr. Matas discovered the benefits of open discussion and sharing of paranormal, anomalous, and spiritual experiences, in order to combat the stigma which still attaches to these events.

Seven Things You Need to Know About Paranormal Phenomena 1. Everyone is psychic. Psychic and paranormal experiences — such as ESP and telepathy — are far more common than we think. 2. The paranormal is really normal. “Para” means “beside.” Paranormal means beside normal. It does not mean abnormal. Paranormal experiences are nothing to be feel embarrassed about or ashamed of, nor are they any reason to feel proud or special. It is simply part of life.

3. Surveys have shown that 50% of bereaved people report they feel the presence or hear the voice or have a vision of the deceased loved. Deathbed visions are extremely common, the most common type of deathbed vision is seeing a deceased relative or friend who has come to take the dying patient to the other side. 4. One of the more surprising aspects of deathbed visions or voices is that they are sometimes not just experienced by the person who is dying, but also by the visitors and the medical personnel at the bedside.

5. Creative people are visionaries. Throughout history and in every culture, people have had visions and have received messages from the Spirit world. These include Biblical prophets, such as Daniel and Ezekiel; historical figures like St. Francis of Assisi or Joan of Arc; creative geniuses such as William Blake and William Burroughs; or modern-day visionaries like Elon Musk and Steve Jobs. 6. Blind people who have out-of-body experiences during surgery under general anesthesia have reported being able to see when they are out of their bodies. One blind man, when he woke up from the anesthetic post-surgery, was able to describe the color and pattern of his surgeon’s tie, which he was able to see when he was out of his body. Another blind man, post-surgery, was able to tell the nurse where she put his false teeth because while he was under the anesthetic, he left his body and he watched the nurse put his teeth in a drawer. 7. It’s important to distinguish between hallucinations that are symptoms of a psychotic illness, and visions, voices, or other sensory phenomena which are not psychotic, but which may be due to stress, isolation, or grief. There is a difference between psychotic and non-psychotic hallucinations. Psychotic hallucinations tend to be frightening. Nonpsychotic (psychic) voices and visions tend to occur far less often and they tend to be comforting and reassuring, not frightening and threatening. Even if they only occur once, their impact can last a lifetime. Manny Matas, MD, has been clinical psychiatrist for forty years. The author of The Borders of Normal: A Clinical Psychiatrist De-Stigmatizes Paranormal Phenomena, Dr. Matas explains the field of study known as meta-psychiatry. Meta-psychiatry represents the confluence of psychiatry with spirituality and metaphysics, which is the philosophy of being and knowing. It is his hope he will provide a bridge between these two worlds and will give people permission to share their own experiences without shame or embarrassment. For information visit drmatas.ca

SACRED SPACE CREATE YOUR OWN

Space

PERFECTING THE IDEAL

By Jill Mattson

Creating Sacred Space was a titillating ancient secret. Observe how far people travel to a sacred site - without knowing that they can create such spaces themselves.

Everything is vibration, and every vibration has a frequency… such as the rocks in the ground, the mineral content of the soil, the presence of water in the air (or not). These things contribute to the “frequency potpourri” of a location. For example, reflect on the feeling of being in a desert and then near the ocean. The amount of water in the air makes a difference in the feel of a location.

Perhaps the crystal content in the soil, the type of rocks beneath the soil or the magnetic flow deep under the surface contribute to the positive feelings emanating from special spots.

Each direction was associated with precise, subtle feelings. Try it! Face North, South East, and West, while paying attention to the tiniest feelings that you can detect. There are subtle differences in feelings, although you must be quite intuitive to notice the sure-but-tiny variations. These “directional” energies feel different in a variety of locations. Applying this technique, helped ancient people select a balanced location to become a sacred spot.

Locations on ley line intersections (energy currents from the Earth’s molten iron core) were desired because the sacred energy that masters created - combined with the energy of the ley lines and impacted a broader area.

Likewise, it was important to locate spots on underground waterways so the good vibes practiced at the site, would travel in the water to upgrade the geographical area that the stream nourished. Special places uplift people increase their strength and healing. Yet we can notice how any space feels. For example, it feels better to visit Machu Picchu, a sacred site, then Auschwitz (the former concentration camp). The history of events at a certain location contributes to its “feel.”

People’s feelings and consciousness subtly float in the air around them. This energy is like snowflakes floating to the ground. Highly evolved people’s “energy-droplets” soak into the ground. For example, places where people pray – become peaceful.

Everything is vibration, and every vibration has a frequency… such as the rocks in the ground, the mineral content of the soil, the presence of water in the air

When the perfect site was not found, secret techniques were used to uplift the energy of an area. Ancient spiritual leaders faced each direction and spent many hours singing vowels sounds to balance the feeling of each direction. The sounds varied a bit with each culture, but they experimented to find a tone to bring harmony into the feeling they got from each direction. Below is one Native American Indian set of associations.

• The East, Vowel sound: eeeee, felt like air and uplifted the spiritual body • The South, Vowel sound: aye, felt like fire and raised the energy of the emotional body • The West, Vowel sound: uuu, felt like water, enhanced the physical body • The North, Vowel sound: ooo, felt like earth and brightened the mental body.

Ancient people were well versed in tiny subtleties. A method was needed to describe the gamut of tiny amounts of energies that ancient people felt. People divided all types of subtle energy into categories and compared each category to feelings of nature – they then called this “elemental energy.”

When this “elemental” energy was in balance, it benefitted an individual in this location - as he also became balanced on body, mind and spirit levels.

Each culture used different elements to compare to the same feeling. For example, one culture might compare a feeling to Earth, and the next group compared the same energy to wood. The energy did not vary, but the associations that were used to describe it varied.

Another secret was to observe your feelings while on each square foot of a property. Perhaps one area felt better than another. Crystals were dug into the ground to lift any pockets or negative energy. Beautiful songs were sung on the low energy spots.

Buildings or stones were aligned with the magnetic energies of north and sound – again to improve the “balanced” feeling of a location. Star positions were copied in building placement – to resonate with a star system and subtly download the energies of those stars. Nature shapes (sacred geometry) were also copied in building design – to add the deep comforting feelings of Mother Earth. Masters converted sacred geometry to sounds. Some musicians have done this today, such as in Mattson’s Paint Your Soul and Star Dust CDs.

Music and sound are the most powerful tools in the creation of sacred space!

Ancient people sang their most uplifting songs to create sacred space. With prayerful intent and sound vibrations, strong doses of divine energy entered the air and settled in the soil. Musical repetitions are necessary as the sound is subtle energy (tiny amounts of energy); each time a song is sung - one drop of positive energy is added to the location. The singing continued until the area was overflowing with uplifting energy. Rocks also slowly absorbed the singing and intent, adding to the permanent healing capacities of the location – an ancient version of a free health care center.

Sacred Space is uplifting and transformative. You can create it in your location – uplifting not only yourself but many others and the Earth herself.

The Challenge of an Ethical Conscience By Cathedral of the Soul

The definition of Ethics of Care is one that is a moral construct that defends, maintains and preserves the integrity of Life. It is a concept that involves an inclusive outlook and a compassionate attitude

Omtimes.com

towards the whole web of Life and the environment. We must fight against the spirit of unconscious cruelty with which we treat the animals. Animals suffer as much as we do. True humanity does not allow us to impose such sufferings on them. We must make the whole world recognize it. Until we extend our circle of compassion to all living things, humanity will not find peace. –Albert Schweitzer First, one can mention the importance of compassion to establish a truthful Ethical Conscience. Justly, compassion is based on a very precise awareness of our relevance to the totality of the world. Far from being identified with a mere feeling of pity or sympathy, compassion conveys the sincere desire to remedy all forms of suffering that erode humanity and all the creation. As the Dalai Lama points out, compassion relates to the expanding movement of love, which seeks, above all, the well-being of others. This feeling is stronger than self-

love and finds no satisfaction while it can identify the presence of suffering. Compassion is an essential element present in various religious traditions. Compassion is known as Karuna in Buddhism, (essential care for the world, empathy); it is ahimsa in Hinduism (Do no hurt); it is Wu-Wei in Taoism (not interfering in the dynamics of nature); it is Rahamin in Jew-Christianity (compassion in the form of Mercy), It is Rahman, and Rahin, (mercy that leaves nothing outside itself, as a mother that guards and shelter their young). Our time lacks an “ethic of compassion. We cannot understand how we human beings can remain indifferent while witnessing such a disturbing historical trend we are currently facing; where living conditions and violence prevent the affirmation of the dignity of human beings. The challenge of openness to the question of meaning Just as white light consists of colored rays, so reverence Omtimes.com

for life contains all the components of ethics: love, kindliness, sympathy, empathy, peacefulness, and power to forgive. –Albert Schweitzer The meaning of Ethics of Care must be comprehended within the horizon of sense, and its semantic field should go beyond the social practice. It is in such a framework that it can present itself as a relevant practical orientation for human action. The Praxis of Consciousness of Caring should be an essential way for Human Living: caring for this planet, being helpful for other beings; accepting the totality of the human experiences including and encompassing their spiritual reality. When the dynamics of a compassionate outlook is considered as a vital element of the ethical conscience, it can break with self-centered blockages and awakens the subject to the adventure of communion with all there is. One might think that because of this, the ethics of care

Omtimes.com

could provide a basis for an anthropocentric point of view that excludes non-human animals. The reason would be that, since we generally have stronger relationships with humans, we should give priority to their interests and pay less attention to the interests of nonhuman animals. This argument was rejected by advocates of the consideration of nonhuman animals from care ethics such as Josephine Donovan and Carol J. Adams. Ethics of Care or Ethical conscience has its psychological basis in the human being’s ability to transcend the concrete situation of the selfdirected desire to live and make decisions aimed at the well-being of the environment, people, and nonhumans animals, on which his own satisfaction depends intimately. This type of stance is possible through the intentional development of virtues such as Compassion, Kindness, and solidarity. Without these elements it will be doubtful that the human species will survive it is own extinction.

10 Original Ways to Spark Your Creativity

Creativity comes from combining our knowledge in new ways. That is why the creative process (although primarily a right Omtimes.com

brain/frontal lobe function) also emerges from our own unique knowledge and how we weave it together! 1. Often, in any situation, we must take the quiet time to be with ourselves to observe and define an idea. What is it I want to create? Get specific. Define your goal. Write it down. Give it parameters. Start with one image, idea, or objective. What am I going to do to get from point A to point B? Allow the answers to come to you in your quiet time. 2. Carry a notebook or use an app on your phone. Have it with you to jot down a thought or phrase that comes to mind. Creativity can happen at any time. So, when the moment strikes, you have the opportunity to record the thought or creative genius.

3. Brainstorming: is a great technique used in generating creative ideas. Very effective when done in small groups, it’s a stimulating way to get fresh ideas from different minds. Start by suggesting a topic or goal. “What healing product is needed in our spa?” “Which technique should we market for the holidays?” This is the foundation from which you and your group will start building ideas. With one suggestion, start building on top of that. 4. Association with Words: These are words or statements that can be said or written in order to stimulate the mind into digging deeper into our well of knowledge. Associating words in a brainstorm session can open up a whole new path. This method takes a list of words and then builds an association

Omtimes.com

between other keywords on the list. Once an original word has been chosen, the next person will find a word they associate with it. The next person must then do the same with the previous word. Word association can be done on your own, as well. Open a book or dictionary and randomly choose a word. Then begin formulating associated words or ideas using this keyword. You’ll be amazed how well this works. 5. Thought Journaling: As you have probably experienced in the past, sometimes the harder you try to be creative, the least creative you are. Perhaps, not trying too hard is one way to tap into the subconscious. I find that journaling thoughts can be an insightful approach to listening to what your forebrain has to say.

Omtimes.com

Try suggesting a topic to yourself before bed. This is one way to “sleep on it”. In the morning, recall your dreams. Even if they are images or colors or words…. jot them down first thing in the morning upon waking. Then go back to it later. See if something comes of it. 6. Wander: Take a trip. Walk around the block, through your neighborhood or through a park. Head to the sea, the hills or a mountain trail. There is a concept (and herbal formula) in Chinese medicine referred to as the Free and Easy Wanderer. Walking or simply wandering often allows us to clear our head and free our minds. This allows for the free flow of movement, vital energy or Qi. It is extremely therapeutic.

7. Incorporate Mind Games: Some of the best ways to engage your brain is by using your memory functions! Individuals who are always learning something new about the world, or maintaining a playful spirit, will find creativity to flow easier than those who do not. Challenge your mind and memory function. By exercising your brain, it provides inspiration and fills your mind with information that allows you to make creative connections easily. 8. Avoid Doing Drugs: Drugs cloud your mind, impair judgment and diffuses motor function. People on drugs think they are creative. To everyone else, they seem like people on drugs.

9. Educate Yourself: Learn as much as you can about everything possible. Fill your brain with inspiration, excitement, and passions that interested you. Understand how to incorporate the information you learn into your own creative spin. 10. Take Everything One Day at A Time: Sometimes situations can become overwhelming when looking at the big picture. Again, take your quiet time to observe the moment. Do some soul searching. Allow yourself to take all the time and space that you need to grasp your creative genius. Trust the Universe. It is within you! Secret Techniques & Powerful, Transformational Energy-Portals of the Egyptian Sephiroth

Tree-of-Life Representation

Omtimes.com

The secrets of the sacred Treeof-Life in the Kabbalah tradition originate from deep within the Ancient Egyptian Temple Traditions. Both traditions regard each circle in the Tree-of-Life Blueprint (see the above figure), called a Sephiroth, as a portal of higher dimensional energy. Recall that Moses, a Hebrew, was raised as a Pharaoh’s son, giving him access to all the deepest secrets of powerful Egypt. The most important secrets of Egypt (pyramid building, mummification) were not written down (the more precious the secret, the greater the silence). Yet, the oral tradition of the Hebrews was written down…. in the Kabballah. The prize secret of the Hebrews was the Tree of Life and the 10 Sephiroth, originating from ancient Egypt. In an analogy, think of Moses’s

god, YWHY, as one clear quartz prism. Light shining through spreads into rainbow colors (or the Sephiroth). The powerful pharaohs of Egypt believed that their Gods guarded and embodied these Gateways of Powerful Uplifting Energies: the Sephiroth. The combined power of all of the Egyptian gods and temples combines into a matric of supreme power… the Tree of Life and it’s Sephiroth. There are ten portals in the Treeof-Life diagram. Legends tell that God, or All That Is, descended into the matter to experience life at the human level. Beginning at the highest circle (above) we begin with the essence of God. As we move down the diagram we successively step down and compartmentalize energies; each step down becoming denser- a progressively smaller - more limited - pocket of energy. “As above, so below.” Humans experience a weak shadow of this divine energy. Humans experience thumbprints of this consciousness but in a less powerful form. The energies in duality are malleable (often negative) … and create denser, slower versions of the Holographic, Higher Dimensional Energies. This limitation enables Omtimes.com

us to experience being human, embodying the denser form of these energies. These High Energy Streams were locked from human beings. The keys to the Sephiroth were hidden, in plain sight, carved - time and time again - in indelible stone! The Sephiroth “breadcrumbs” are a trail to help us find our way back home, to ALL CONSCIOUSNESS and ALL AWARENESS. The Higher Beings that created these “quantum energy locks” were thinner in substance, quicker (think of an elf or faery) than humans are. How would “Higher Evolved Beings” keep subtle and quantum energies blocked? They could penetrate steel or iron! Modern physicists’ String Theory is based simply on different vibrations of an infinitesimal string. Sound, colors, lights, and shapes would tangle energies - creating huge, impossible knots in infinitesimal strings - locks. Humans always long for the divine and sweet remembrance of higher energies. Ancient disciples focused on each Sephiroth symbol to resonate with the Higher powerful streams of transforming energies. Omtimes.com

The spiritual mastery of the Egyptians was their key to their enduring power. The Egyptian fascination/obsession with Life after death… is reflected in their pyramids, monuments, mummifications, death rituals … AND the Sephiroth. The Sephiroth … are Resurrection Frequencies… Tree of Life Transformations. We are children of God, with a weak potion of His energy. Now it is time to unleash the full power of the resurrection codes – as we are the children of God – growing up. Sound Codes – the Sephiroth Attunements Within each Sephiroth are ancient Hebrew letters, which are vibrational codes, dictating frequencies, harmonics and spelling a word. Ancient systems, such as gematria, converted energy between symbols, numbers, musical notes and alphabet letters. The writings on each Sephiroth can be depicted as sound energy. The Sephiroth was also reflected by numerical energy: each Sephiroth is numbered 1 to 10. Pythagoras said, “All is Number!” Just what does that mean?

Everything is energy. Energy vibrates. Pulsations of energies can be counted and are called frequencies. Modern physicists’ String Theory is based simply on different vibrations of an infinitesimal string. Therefore in our world, all is number, expressed as vibrating strings (or frequencies). Numbers can also be expressed as cycles per second or sound. The method of converting the Sephiroth’s shapes to frequencies and harmonic patterns was one of the deepest ancient secrets, but now these methods are returned to us - as we journey back to the divine. The author has created the powerful sound version of the Sephiroth! Sound, being the most powerful subtle energy dosage possible, enables us to propel our energies into powerful realms, quickly. The Sephiroth Energies are the Blueprint of Divine Energies! What are the blueprints of energies? Think of E=mC2. A simple formula underlies the basic universal energies. How about our DNA? Life’s secret code in a helix blueprint containing all our physical body’ plans. In a similar way, each Sephiroth has its own energy, one that we experience in

a dense and less powerful form. Yet, when we look at the symbols of the Sephiroth or listen to their powerful sounds, we sync with the energy version of the High Dimensional Powerful Sephiroth.
