uring the 16th-21th of March, Pilsen2015 organised the DEPARTURES: RAKOUSKÉ DNY (the Austrian Days), with different activities such as movie screenings, public readings music performances, etc.
We want to thank all the actors that participated in the project. And moreover, we are so happy that one of the actors involved was Blanka Josephová-Lunakova, who won the Talia Award for lifetime achievement.
Moreover, the visitors could see the premiere of TRAVERTIN, a film by our two artists in residence, Roswitha Schuller and Markus Hanakam, which is part of a bigger exhibition project called SHARE - Too Much History, MORE Future, which was created in 2014 in Sarajevo.
The exhibition was also joined by a Czech artist Janek Rous, who has been working on ˇ his art project “Prizrak” for two months in Vienna thanks to our programme and KulturKontak Austria.

1/ What are your feelings about your final presentation? We are very happy that our residency project is part of an exhibition that already has its own "experience" as travelling to certain museum and exhibition venues. It is interesting to see how art works come together in new relations and context. We think the presentation in former industrial structure DEPO is a good counterpoint to museal representation of video art. 2/ How do you rate the whole experience of your residency in Pilsen? Good experience to work with the team on our project, thanks everybody for that! We think that we leave Pilsen with a strong work and hopefully will spread it also beyond.

udmila continues with her project, called “Domácí je holt domáci” in the Regional Volunteering Center TOTEM. People are getting involved in it and participate actively, they bake 3-4 days per week and the sweet specialities are delivered regularly to local inhabitants by our great volunteers from The Guardian Angel´s Club of Pilsen 2015 organisation. In our previous magazine Ludmila told us widely about the aim and the objectives of “Domácí je holt Domácí”. Now we can see some pictures about how the project is going on.

GIOR
Giorgio, our italian artist from Monsampolo del Tronto, arrived in Pilsen the 3rd of March and inmediately, started to work on his circus structure in the Faculty of Arts with Petr Forman, the artistitc director of Pilsen2015. We talked with him about his project and his stay in Pilsen.
1/ When and where is going to be your final presentation? The presentation will be on April the 19th at 7pm at the Faculty of Design and Arts in Pilsen. 2/ What is the aim of this project? The purpose of the project is to have a "space" show within a structure that can accommodate fifty people from the public and be able to present this work also in the historical centers of the smaller and less accustomed to seeing live shows villages. Directed by Petr Forman, with video projections and with collaborations of Czech Republic artists will surely make this show special an unique clown astronaut who will live with the audience an intergalactic adventure! 3/ You have been in Pilsen for a month, which is your impression about the city? Working here in Plzen is fabulous just because when I have free time I can enjoy splendid exhibitions like the one that talks about Trnka or to see the Puppet museum or shows like the performancce by PSiRC. And then I can drink a Czech beer in one of the most beautifful pubs in the city and eating such a delicious food!

NEW ARTIST...
d u a r f t wol i n i c n o c de Wolftraud de Concini née Schreiber was bornt in the year 1940 in Trautenau/Trutnov, a little town in in the Northeast of Bohemia. In June 1945 she was driven with her family out of her home country. She lived in Northern Germany and studied Philosophy and History of Art at Munich University, then Ethnography and Romance at Innsbruck University. Since 1964 she is living in Italy. She published books dedicated to many italian regions and to linguistic minorities. She published also a photo-book dedicated to the life in a monk monastery. She has organized exhibitions and translated, from Italian to German, many art catalogues. Recently has come out, in German and Italian, her book “Böhmen hin und zurück” (Bohemia there and back), a sort of memorial-book of her childhood in Bohemia and an analysis of her relationship to the Czech people today. In Pilsen/Plzeň she wants to deal, among others, with themes like the minorities living in the town and surroundings (Germans, Jews, Rom), the abandoned villages near
Pilsen the interiors designed by Adolf Loos, the theatre life and the work of Jiři Trnka. She would like to meet directors of museums, the bishop and other personalities, but also simple people “on the street”: persons which can deliver her the pieces for a big Plzeň-mosaic to describe with blogs in German and Italian. With an internet-diary she wants to spread an image of the
varied and interesting history of the town and his monuments and the vivid current cultural life of Plzeň today, Considering with attention also the works of young artists. The photos she will take during the interviews and the walks in the town could be the material for exhibitions to show that Plzeň is much more than the “beer town”.

We invite you to come and create a completely new artwork together with Sandra Ghosn, our incoming artist in residence from Lebanon. The increase of rapidity and quantity of communications is mutating humankind, stripping us from our individuality and transforming us into relay antennas. Drawing is a way to bypass this condition and to access an alternate temporality; our own. How do we transform information into a collective fiction? Material and refreshment will be provided on spot, you just have to bring a good mood and some warm clothes. When? Sunday, 12th of April, 16:00 Where?
