Dominican Republic The Dominican Republic is an island in The Caribbean. The Dominican Republic borders on the Atlantic Ocean to the east, U.S.A to the north, Mexico to the west and Venezuela to the south.

The capital of the Dominican Republic is Santo Domingo. The Dominican Republic is a tropical country.

The official language is Spanish. The official coin is the peso. The religion is Catholic, but some people practise different religions. The flag of the Dominican Republic is red, white and blue .

Recipe Plate: Boiled lobster Cook Time: 35 minutes Total Time: 40 minutes Ingredients: ● ● ●

1 live lobster per person Salt A large piece of dried seaweed (optional)

Preparation: 1­ Take your largest pot, fill it 3/4 with water and salt or ocean water. 2­ Take the live lobsters and put them in the pot. 3­ Once your lobsters are in the pot, quickly cover it and wait for the water to return to boil. When it does, count off 15­20 minutes, depending on their size. A normal lobster will take 15 minutes once the water boils again. 5­ When your lobster is cool and drain, put it in a big plate with the large piece of dried seaweed and accompany it with lemon, sauce…
