1.- INTRODUCTION This project is about an illustrated album called “The Sound of Colors” written and illustrated by Jimmy Liao. This illustrated album is about a blind woman who goes to different stations and imagines them. 1.1- Cover Page Analysis
Adriana: I think the book is about a blind girl who can’t see the colours and she gives a sound so that they can be differentiated. José: I think the book is about a blind girl, and she “listen the colors”. Teo: I think the book is about a blind woman who after an operation she can see. I know she is blind because she wears sunglasses and a stick. She’s going down to the subway.

Jimmy Liao was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1958. He’s 59 years old. After graduation in the university he studied drawing that’s why he is the illustrator of his books. He worked as an illustrator for newspapers magazines. In 1998 he published his first books “Secrets In The Forest” and “A Fish With a Smile”. These two books won several book awards and were regarded as “The Best Children’s Books”.

2.2- Setting The story is on different stations in the mind of the girl, the date isn´t specify. 2.3- Characters
Protagonist: Blind girl Character: A dog who appears in the story.
2.4- Plot This illustrated album is about a blind woman who goes to different stations and imagines them. The story is about a blind girl, who travels by subway through different stations, and with the sounds and her creativity, she imagines how they are. She thinks in the colors and the forms of a the places where she travels, for example a station with elephants up the stairs or a station with a fossil in the wall.

3.- CONCLUSION 3.1- THE THEME The conclusion of this book. In spite of everything, she enjoys of the places she goes to when she ​is blind, and in her imagination each color has a sound. 3.2- AFTER READING THE ALBUM Adriana: After reading the book I think that the book would of several cities with different aspects and sounds. JosÊ: My opinion of this book is, in spite of being blind, you can visualise the colors and the forms in your mind. Teo: In my opinion, this book teaches us that we can have fun independently our conditions 3.3 After having finished the project 3.3.1- Our opinions about the project

Adriana: I learned that nothing is impossible if you belive it possible. José: “The power of the imagination is infinite” Teo: I learned about a case of a person who hears the colors with an aerial.
