We are talking about Psychological Violence. We will talk about this topic because we are against the abuses because no one has to suffer it and we must look for manners of fighting against it.

1.1 There are two forms of violence:

1.Direct violence Violence against women and girls is a grave violation of human rights suffered by any human being.

2.Indirect violence Indirect violence can be understood as a type of structural violence, characterised by norms, attitudes and stereotypes around gender in general and violence against women in particular.

1.2 Violence can be:

1. Physical Abuse Physical violence is when someone injures another person. It could be by hitting or other forms of physical contact.

2. Emotional Violence Emotional violence is when someone says or does something to make another person feel stupid or worthless.

3. Psychological Violence Psychological violence is when someone uses threats and causes fear in another person to gain control.

4. Sexual Violence Sexual violence includes all unwanted sexual contact or activity.

5. Cultural Violence Cultural violence is when a person is harmed as a result of practices that are part of their culture, religion or tradition.

6. Spiritual Violence Spiritual (or religious) violence is when someone uses a person's spiritual beliefs to control or manipulate that person.

7. Verbal Abuse Verbal abuse is when someone uses language, whether spoken or written, to cause harm to another person.

8. Financial Abuse Financial (or economic) abuse is when someone controls, takes or steals a person's money or financial resources without their consent.

9. Neglect

Neglect is when someone has the responsibility to provide care or assistance for you but does not.

Psychological violence The concept of psychological violence is when one person verbally assaults another. In this kind of violence a person's behaviour, beliefs or decisions, are controlled through humiliation, intimidation, isolation or any other means affecting psychological or emotional stability. In this category wo emotional abandonment can be included.

We liked doing this project because we know more about this serious problem and we learned that not all women know when they are Violence. With this project we discovered many forms of violence.
