1. Introduction This project is about my father called José Mª López Pena who is my example in life because of many reasons, for example: when I was born my father abandoned his football team to look after his family. Other reason is that he loves his life and I know that he doesn't change nothing of it because he looks for happiness not money. My father has lived in Barallobre since he was born on 12 August 1975. He studied in "C.E.I.P O Ramo" and finally he finished his studies in "IES de Fene". he decided to study electronics and electricity but this course didn't like him and he did a welding course. When he finished that course he started to work in different places, for example, he worked in Vigo or Betanzos and now he works in Astano (Fene).
2. Descriptions 2.1. Physical description My father is young, he’s 39 years old. He’s tall because he’s 1,75 cm height and he’s slim. He has got short, straight black hair but now he’s got many grey hairs in the part of the ears and for this reason he has to dye his hair . He has got dark brown eyes but in summer his eyes are lighter. His face is oval like me and some of his brothers, he has got a small nose, small ears, a small mouth and thin lips. He has got a beard too but always on thursdays and sundays he shaves himself. As he is tall he has got long thin legs, long arms and big hands. His feet are big too because he wears size 43 or 44 in some shoes. The working days and on saturday my father usually wears a red or black tracksuit, a different tshirt , white socks and white or black trainers but he has got many trainers although he always wears the same pair. And every sunday my father usually wears jeans, a different shirt, white socks and brown shoes but sometimes he wears trainers. He wears different clothes the working days and at the weekend because for him the tracksuit is more comfortable in the work to put on the coverall. And every sunday as he doesn’t work he wears more elegant clothes. 3
2.2. Personality description The first impression that people usually have of my father is as a very serious man but he is very happy really and he is usually smiling. In general he is active but these days as he works he is more tired and he is clever and outgoing too. Sometimes he is too much direct and he can offend others’ feelings My father is very organized, especially with his things, hardworking and honest. But his character is very strong and he has got little patience in general.
2.3. Hobbies Now, as my father works in the afternoon, he can’t practice his hobbies. Before he was the coach of the team of my brother, the “S.D. Barallobre”. My father, when he was a child he played in this team. Now, my brother plays in “CCRD Perlio” and this team wanted that my father was the coach of the category of my brother, but he doesn’t accepted because he works. But when he can, he goes to see my brother play. In conclusion he loves football, this is his big passion. And his favourite team is F.C.Barcelona. 4
At eight o’clock more or less, he goes to play cards in a competition at the bar that is near our house. And in the mornings when he doesn't work he goes for a walk from our house to a different place each time, for example to Fene, Ferrol...
4. Conclusion In this project I learned to understand the attitude of my father. The first impression that people have of my father is as a very serious man, but when they meet him better they think that he is a very happy and funny man. For me the conclusion is that although my father has got defects, for me he is perfect and although he sometimes is angry with me and I with him, he is an essential person in my life and I love him a lot.
