1.Introduction In this term, in the English class, we are going to analyze poems. We think this term is very interesting because we have never worked on this theme. The worst part for us was to understand the meaning of the poem. The best part for us was to work in group because it is less difficult and more funny.

3. She walks in beauty She Walks in beauty, by Lord Byron She walks in beauty, like the night of cloudless climes and starry skies; and all that's best of dark and bright meet in her aspect and her eyes: thus mellowed to that tender light which heaven to gaudy day denies One shade the more, one ray less had half impaired the nameless grace which waves in every raven trees, or softly lightens o'er her face; where thoughts serenely sweet express how pure, how dear their dwelling place. And on that cheek, and o'er that brow, so soft, so calm, yet eloquent, the smiles that win, the tints that glow, but tell of days in goodness spent, a mind at peace with all below, a heart whose love is innocent.

We are going to talk about the poem “She walks in beauty”, we chose this poem because we like the love that the poem transmits to the public. We think the author wants to tells us his love story, how the woman that he fell in love with is . It Is a poem with a lot of feelings and for this reason we decided to analyze it. 3.1 Our opinion Sergio Personally, when I read this poem I saw reflected a very big truth, because the author almost never says how pretty a girl is physically because he really loves the inner part of the girl and that the girl has a true love for him, something really important. I totally agree with the author on this theme because I think that the physical aspect is important but I prefer the inner world of each person. I believe in true love, and in this poem I can see that the author has the same idea I have, and nowadays people only see the outside of the people but the most beautiful in a person is the inner part with all the good and bad things and with all his oddities. Because the author feels a totally pure love.

Andrea The 1st paragraph describes the girl and the night, in the 2nd paragraph the author, through metaphors, describes her characters, because the girl is beautiful outside and inside, the 3rd paragraphs is about the woman's face and I think the three last verses talk about her past. This poem is about one beautiful girl, I think that the girl is walking along the street of a city in a beautiful night. The girl had a difficult life but the poet loves her. In this poem the author describes a girl especially her face and her character, the poet also describes the night. I chose this poem because I think it is interesting and very beautiful because the poet is in love with the girl. Ainoa The author expresses his love and his emotions about a girl that I think he saw in the street. He talks about her as she was the woman of his dreams. For the author, nothing is more beautiful than the girl. He compares all the woman’s characters, but he always says great things about her and her inner world.

3.2. Author

Lord Byron was an English poet, born in London on January 22, 1788 and one of the best poets of the romanticism. Due to his poetic talent, personality, physical attractiveness and personal scandals, he was a true celebrity in his life and nowadays he is one of the best poets of the English language. Lord Byron, in his life, travelled to different places like Spain, Greece or Italy, places where he was inspired to write some of his works like “The corsair” or “The Pilgrimages of Childe Harold”. After this, he was recognized as a great poet and wrote other great works like “A great talent”, “Rebellion” or “Dark past”. In March 1823 he travelled to Greece, for the last time, where he wrote his last work. Shortly afterwards, Lord Byron dies of an epileptic attack. In his life he wrote more than 35 great works. In his time, he was considered the most important poet in the world and his reputation and importance is maintained, There exist more than 40 operas inspired in him. In conclusion, Lord Byron is one of the best poets that has ever existed.

3.3 Language The author tells us about the physical and psychic qualities, the characters and the environment of the woman that he loves through many metaphors that it make the poem more sentimental and emotional and it draws the reader's’ attention. In the poem, there are some educated words, and for us, it was difficult to understand some of its parts. 4. Conclusion With this project we learned to understand the meaning of the poems, analyze them... and we got to know the differents types of poems as Dada poems, haikus, acrostics, calligrams... . We think that this project is interesting because we learned a lot and it taught us how to use our imagination, also it was very funny because we got to create some poems and afterwards we are going to explain these poems to our schoolmates. It is going to be very funny!.
