INTRODUCTION In this term we are going to work in a film. The film which we will talk about is “ The Life of Brian”. We are going to analyse its trailer and the characteristics of the poster. After this, we will write a dialogue between the characters who appear in this scene.

FILM ANALYSE Brian’s life was directed by Terry Jones, premiered in Spain in 1980, but was recorded in the United Kingdom. The cast of the film is formed by the following actors: John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Terry Giliam, Michael Palin, Eric Idle,Terence Bayler, Sue Jones-Davies. We have decided to choose this movie because we think it will make us learn things comically and we will also see how Jesucristo lived in his time. Most critics speak in a good way but a few say that in some countries they have banned the film for religious reasons. The plot of the film is to narrate in form of parody life of Jesucristo to make everything that happens to Brian be the same as that said in the bible. The film shows the idea of how Jesus lived, in a funny way for people who do not believe in God. It deals with the issue of social justice in the film by showing different profiles in the characters. In addition, the idea they apply is for real life. The value of understanding people in different social classes is used. The story is told chronologically, in it several narrative threads are used to obtain several stories within the story itself. The tension in the story is given by various conflicts between the characters and the misfortunes that occur to the protagonist. The end of the story depends on how the person sees it can be opened or closed, for me the end is open. The story is told by a person, the narrator reveals things in his life because the narrator is the protagonist. There is no author voice narrates only the protagonist. You can see life inner of the characters. The narrator does not explain things to the listener, besides the movie leaves a free way to enter the movie. The comedy satire is used. The humor is based on the lack of communication between the characters. The irony is based on the theme of religion. All the charactersI like a lot, and I have no negative impression of any. The action of this film occurs in Belen and it is know quickly, the setting takes us to several perspectives making the character create a humor using the theme of religion. In the movie there is no music, but they have an official song. Music always creates a different atmosphere in the movie. The characters speak in a good way.

The sound and the silence are very important because depends of them some of the moments of the movie. The film belongs to the genre of comedy.

JUDITH Judiht is one of the characters in Brian’s life. She is a dark- eyed woman, wearing a black tunic. In one of her your arms she wears a bracelet that looks like silver. Psychologically, my character is a brave woman who seeks the feminine empowerment of women at the time. She is also a very feminist woman who seeks equality

BRIAN He is the major character, he is wearing poor clothes. He is a person who is manipulable. He is against the roman. He is hopeless and stupid.

BIGGUS DICKUS e has a comfortable real dress. He is in a high position and character is a bad person and always has to be right. The character is a bad and angry person with power. When Brian contradicts him, he hits him . This character represents an idea or something funny. It is described in a way that has the power and anything can contradicted him. His actions and his way of acting tell us that he is a person in a bad mood. He is a credible character and always has the power

TRAILER https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKPmGjVFbrY

In the first scene, it shows us the three wise men going to Bethlehem. We can see the scenes where Brian’s mum appears shouting at the believers “He isn’t a messias, he is a stupid boy”. After this scene, we see Brian scaping from the romans and when he was about to fall, two aliens saved him. When the spacecraft was destroyed, Brian appears unconscious while the romans drag him. This was the first trailer which we saw. While we were looking for another different trailer, we always found trailers with the same scenes. Instead using this scenes we should have used different scenes for example the one in which the protagonist can be seen in more fun scenes and we would try not to reveal the plot

THE POSTER In this poster we can see two angels holding "Monty Python", which is the title of the film. There big yellow letters of the title contrast with background. Moreover, we can see an alien ship that contrasts with the starry background and we can also see the actors' names and the director's name.
