“Alone” is a poem of 1829 its author is Edgar Allan Poe. Edgar Allan Poe was an American romantic writer, poet, critic and journalist. He was born in Boston, USA on January 19, 1809 and he died in Baltimore, USA on October 7, 1849. His parents died when he was a child, after was adopted by a British family. He studied in Virginia and he was in the U.S. Army. He had problems with alcohol and he died for this problem, when he was 40 years. His works were important and his life was crazy. Structure of poem: 22 lines, 1 stanza. The text is formed by two parts: 1-12 Where, in the poem has got enjambments. 13-22 Where, the structure of this poem is normal. The poem has got verbs in active and passive. The narrator is omniscient and is the protagonist. The poem is a couplet because is “AA, BB, CC...” Most lines are of high art. Figurative language devices: Simile: In the poem has got two similes. “I have not been as others were; I have not seen as others saw”. In the similes, he says that he is different. Understanding: His childhood was very hard, because he was alone and now, he doesn’t understand why. He was sad because he thought that he was different, he doesn’t fit and he didn’t know why.

“Radioactive” is a song from the group Imagine Dragons and is from the album “Night Visions”, the album was posted September 4, 2012. The song was posted on April 2, 2012, and becomes popular because appears in an ad of the game “Assassin’s Creed III” and in the trailer of film “The Host”. The clip was posted on December 10, 2012, and is about a puppet that fights against some plushies, but one tramp saves the plushies. Imagine Dragons is an American indie rock band, the band formed in 2008 and their music is often described as being positive and avoids cursing. Its members are: Dan Reynolds - Vocals. Ben McKee - Bass. Wayne Sermon - Guitar. Dan Platzman - Drums. Understanding: For he, now life is very hard, he drowning but he says that a new age is coming. He calls for a revolution, because he thinks that a new age will be better. The new age must come, but they have to fight for a change.
