1. Introduction. This 3rd term we worked on poetry. We started doing a Dada poem all the group together, afterwards we worked on our own writing different acrostics, Haikus, Dada poems and Calligrams. Now, I’m going to talk about my work. 2. Poems Analysis An acrostic is a poem where the first word of all lines (readed vertically) means other word or phrase.
Anime as a way of life No time to study. Dinosaurs lover. Reading mangas every day. Excellent dancer. Animals first.
I wrote this acrostic with the letters of my name and it’s about my hobbies, likes and some lies.
Running into the Ocean. Calling for freedom In her Own mind. I wrote this acrostic to Rocío (with her name) searching random words in internet and trying to do it right.
The Haikus are poems from Japan with a specific structure. The first and last lines must have five syllables and the second line must have seven syllables.
She gets a family in a cold february day. Now, she’s protected.
I wrote this amazing Haiku thinking in my kitty because he is the newness and I wanted to reflect my maternal feelings. Actually I say ‘he’ because I know that he is male, but when I wrote the haiku I didn’t know it.
Dada poem: To make a Dada poem we need a newspaper, glue, some sheets and a pair of scissors. Cut some words of the newspaper, put it in a bag and mix it. Take the words from the bag and put it on the paper in an orderly way.
Calligrams are drawn poems. I drew an ‘R’ because I wrote this Calligram with the Acrostic of Rocío’s name. It was too easy and funny

4.Conclusion I liked to work with poetry because it’s an amazing art and I’m a poetry lover. I discovered different forms of poetry with Raúl Vacas, he isn’t just a poet he is a fantastic inventor and a creative man. My favourite type of poems are haikus because they are a beautiful way to express feelings or moments.
