1. Introduction: After analysing different types of texts, now I am going to talk about poetry and for that the teacher teached a document and we starting after the ours project. In that document she explained us how to write different poems: Acrostic, Haiku, Aphorism, Calligrams and Dadaist poem and later I had to write one poem of each type. Also, I analysed analysis one poem and explained why I chose and make a thing where I am going to give this poem to a very important person for me. 3

Acrostic : Sea is the King of Your dreams

4

Haiku: Waves in the sea They move without stopping like clouds in the sky

The garden of love by William Blake I went to the garden of love, and saw what I never had seen: I chapel was built in the midst,

where I used to play on the green. And the gates of this chapel were shut, and thou shalt not write over the door; so I turn’d to the Garden of love, that so many sweet flowers bore And I saw it was filled with graves and tombstones where flowers should be; and Priests in black gowns, were walking their rounds, and binding with briars, my joys & desires

Analysis: The poem was written in 19th century and is in 1st person.

7

In this poem he talks about a garden. He describes one chapel that is situated in the middle of the garden. In this garden play the author when was child. This poem is a criticism to the church. I chose this poem because I think that it is one of the few written at that time with this c criticism.

Biography of William Blake: He was 19th century English romantic poet. He was born in London on 28 November 1757 and died on 12 August 1827.And the poem was published in

his collection Songs of Experience.

Recipient : I chose this poem to be given to my cousin because it is an example in which the story is behind of the poem. And I am going to give it to him in a camera as if it was an image because his principal hobby is photography.

8

Conclusion: When I started to analyze poetry I didn't like the idea but now I like a little more. And I think that our teacher chose to work with poetry because she wants us to know that poetry also has a story behind as all texts. 9
