1. INTRODUCTION: Our human Right is about the liberty of expression , we choose this article because we think , all opinions have to be respected and ​ everybody has to be respected and not discriminated for their opinions and ideas. In the world there are some countries which don’t respect the freedom of expression .


2.HUMAN RIGHT ● Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

2.1 Liberty of expression Freedom of expression is about people who can express their opinions and ideas.

There are some countries where the rights aren’t

respected. We choose this human right because We think ​ that this human right is very important because, it is very good that everybody can express themselves ​ with liberty. At present there are many news about this matter, therefore it seems very interesting and easier to find information. The countries which don't respect human rights are: Algeria, Chad, China,Cuba,Russia,Saudi Arabia and Vietnam


2.2 Spanish condition In Spain, the liberty of expression has been reduced. ​ The laws that some politicians have approved do not allow journalists to express themselves freely.

2.3 Cuba condition In Cuba , the liberty of expression is minimal and it hasn’t improved over the years . The Only american country which doesn’t respect the freedom of expression is Cuba and it is the place where most journalists are imprisoned. An individual who fights for human rights in Cuba is Yoani Sánchez , She works in an ONG which defends the liberty of expression .


2.4 ONGs ​ Nowadays there are some ONGs who defend freedom of expression , for example: ● RSF : Reporters without borders. ● CIDH: The Inter­American Commission on human rights. ● NED : National Endowment for Democracy ● IRI: ​ International Republican Institute ● NDI: National Democratic Institute


2.5 Films and songs about freedom of expression FILMS: ­ “Ágora” Spain : 2009 Direction : Alejandro Amenábar. Ágora is based on a true story. This movie is about Hypatia of Alexandria story.The epoch in which Christianity is imposed as the official religion of the Roman Empire and the Paganism starts to be pursued. ­​ ”Good Night And Good Luck” EE.UU.: 2005 Director: George Clooney. Good Night And Good Luck is based on a true story. This film tells the story of a reporter and her producer during confrontation between the reporter Joseph McCarthy and the Committee of Anti­american activity during the fifties in the EE.UU SONGS: “I Want To Break Free”​ ­ Queen “Imagine”​ ­ John Lennon


3. Conclusion We are going to invent a newspaper where people can express their opinions and ideas without saying his name . We are going to talk to cuban people about the liberty of expression and ​ to convince them to talk and express their ideas and opinions.
