Adriana: I think that the cover page is extroverted. The story is about a cat that sent letters all over the world. The cover page looks like a fiction book. If I saw this book in a shop I wouldn’t buy it. Sara: The cover page transmits that this book is a fiction and fantasy book. I think that the story is about mystery and an investigation. I think that I wouldn’t like this book if I saw the cover page. Cris: I think that the cover page is beautiful. I think that the story is a mystery. We think that this book belongs that the fiction genre because the protagonist is a cat that is related to some newspaper articles and he received some letters. In this project we are going to analyze the album “What’s wrong with grandma?” by Miguel Peralta.
PLOT The story is about one grandma and her granddaughter. The grandma is sick and the granddaughter doesn’t understand what is that wrong with grandma. When the grandma knitters she remembers memories. Grandma cares for granddaughter’s hair because she doesn’t want that the same things happen to her granddaughter. She doesn’t remember both her husband and her town.
CHARACTERS Grandma: she is short and fat, she has white tangled hair. She has big eyes and small nose. Little girl: she is short and thin, she has big green eyes, and small nose. She is red-haired and in her hair she has a lot of tangles.
SETTING The story happens in grandma’s house at present to the currently.
BIOGRAPHY Xoana Ă lvarez MartĂn was born in O Grove, Pontevedra. She graduated in economies and cultural and social anthropology. She makes some illustration works. Miguel Peralta Maraver was born in 1988. He participated in numerous exhibitions and festivals wearing their creative genius.
CONCLUSION We think that this book is very beautiful and we like the way of explain the problem that the grandma has. It is very different from what we thought at the beginning.
