FALL COMMUNITY UNITY PRIDE PICNIC - LITTLE ROCK Hosted by Randi Equality Romo

Saturday, October 12 at 1:00pm. Murrary Park - Pavilions 7 & 8.

Movie Night (The Closet) Hosted by Chris Hogue and 2 others

Event for Hot Springs Gay Pride. Friday, September 27, 2013, 6:00pm - 9:00pm.

Unitarian Universalist Church of Hot Springs 100 Norwalk (off Spring Street) . François Pignon, a very bland sort of man who works as an accountant in a rubber factory, is about to be fired. His new neighbour comes up with an idea to prevent such a thing to happen: he spreads the rumor that he’s gay so that the factory management might be afraid they’ll be sued for sexual discrimination. Pizza will be provided for $1.50 a slice. Please RSVP so we can know how many are attending

It’s the fall annual pride picnic that CAR facilitates for our beloved LGBTQ and ally community. There will be games, kids craft corner, free food, booths, music and much more! Come out and celebrate your pride! Bring old friends, family and meet new friends! To have a booth contact us at 501-244-9690 or email us at artchangesu@yahoo.com

Hot Springs Gay Pride

Robert VanHook Minutes of Hot Springs Gay Pride 22 September 2013 The meeting was preceded with a potluck dinner at 6:00 PM. There was lots of good food brought by many people. The meeting was called to order by President Trevor Nelson at 7:00 PM, with 23 members present. Trevor told of the need to give Tab the $95.00 raised to build the float structure. A motion was made to give him the money. The motion was seconded and passed. Alan Clark moved that the minutes as posted on the facebook site be approved as posted. The motion was seconded and passed. Neil Thomas gave the treasurer’s report. We have $ 88.00 in the bank currently.

Trevor reviewed the highlights of the float design meeting. We will have a work day on September 28th at 12:00 PM. We will gather at James and Willie’s home at 105 Orchard Street. There will be food and refreshments for the workers. Some of the responsibilities outlined were: Neil will gather sheets, and pvc pipe and old newspapers. Tad will bring chicken wire and a tarp. Several people will bring some leftover paint. Martha will get some 5 gallon buckets. Everyone was asked to bring a bag of flour and any Styrofoam they might have. Staple guns are also needed. The motion carried and the meting ended at 7:30 PM. Our next meeting will be October 13, 2013. Respectfully submitted, Robert VanHook, Secretary

A Blast from the Past. Do you recognize anyone? Digging up our Family Roots.

Returning to Little Rock in their usual redonkulous fashion, SHFB is anything but ordinary. Come see this wacky orchestra of burlesque madness! With special guests The Diamond Dames, Little Rock’s premier burlesque troupe! Here’s a sneak peek of what you are in for when SHFB rocks your face off: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4QXki8k4D0 “SHFB Is an 18 member touring monstrosity. A live band, a burlesque troupe, a smoked ham dripping with ham juice, that is all together too contemporary, too modern, too bawdy, and too controversial to be defined just as “burlesque”. So, calling itself ‘burlesque’ for lack of a better term, SHFB is heading out for their 7th national tour this fasl with its newest musical production.”
