Wishing Justin the Very Best in His New Adventure As most of ya’ll know by now Justin has been looking for greener pastures as far as employment goes. He hasn’t been able to find a job that pays decent enough to live on - and is in his field here in arkansas. So he sent out several resume’s to different folks trying to find good employment. Well it took a while for one of them

to get back to him, but they have offered him a job he just can’t refuse and will be heading back to new england in the next week. He will only be a few hours from his son which will be the wonderful part. We are so happy for Justin and we want to we wish him the best on his new adventure.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Mr. Heartland Leather 2014 :: Michael Kaplan

Congratulation from Our Gang & OnTrack

Results are in and let me first say WOW. They always say that IML is an experience that changes your life. They are right. I could never have asked for a more amazing experience. I placed 11th. Here is my speech. It’s about making sure that we always remember to look in the corner for the “new guy”...share your experience and knowledge with them. They are the future of our tribe. Get reblacked.

I remember being “that new guy” standing in the corner; my first time at a leather bar; nobody talking to me. It was an IML weekend - I remember the staff talking about who was in the top 20. Eventually, someone pulled me from the shadows and helped me really find my kinky side. Kinda surreal now, actually...going from that corner to this stage. For many of us now, being so “accepted” into this culture, we forget our own personal origins and leave that new guy in the corner. Working for the Air Force, throughout our careers, the core values are constantly re-instilled in us...they call it re-bluing. I’d like to propose a new concept - getting re-blacked. Events like this are a great opportunity to remember the passion we have for our kinky side, our trust in one another and our pride in our communities at home. A reinvestment if you will. I challenge you to find again what made you excited about leather. Embrace it. Grab that new guy and give to him what you were given when you were new. Get re-blacked. When our passion shines we attract others, like “that new guy” standing in the corner, and in turn they help to grow our community - maybe even going from that corner to this stage.
