QUESTIONS ABOUT HETEROSEXUALITY by Martin Rochin, Ph.D. A natural first reaction to reading these questions is to laugh, because it makes it clear how absurd the (original) questions about non-heterosexuality really are. 1. What do you think caused your heterosexuality? 2. When and how did you decide that you were a heterosexual? 3. Is it possible that your heterosexuality is just a phase that you may grow out of? 4. Is it possible that your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?
13. Heterosexuals are noted for assigning themselves and each other to narrowly restricted sex roles. Why do you cling to such unhealthy role-playing? 14. How can you enjoy a fully satisfying sexual experience or deep emotional rapport with a person of the opposite sex, when the obvious physical, biological, and temperamental differences between you are so vast? How can a man understand what pleases a woman sexually, or vice-versa? 15. Why do heterosexuals place so much emphasis on sex?
5. Isn’t it possible that all you need is a good gay lover?
16. With all the societal support marriage receives, the divorce rate is spiraling. Why are there so few stable relationships among heterosexuals?
6. Heterosexuals have histories of failure in gay relationships. Do you think you may have turned to heterosexuality in fear of rejection?
17. How could the human race survive if everyone were heterosexual like you, considering the menace of overpopulation?
7. If you’ve never slept with a person of the same sex, how do you know you wouldn’t prefer it?
18. There seem to be very few happy heterosexuals. Techniques have been developed with which you might be able to change if you want to. Have you ever tried therapy?
8. If your heterosexuality is normal, why are a disproportionate number of mental patients heterosexual? 9. With whom have you discussed your heterosexual tendencies? How did they react? 10. The great majority of child molesters are heterosexuals. Do you consider it safe to expose your children to heterosexual teachers? 11. Why do you insist on being so obvious, and making a public spectacle of your heterosexuality? Can’t you just be what you are and keep it quiet? 12. How can you ever hope to become a whole person if you limit yourself to a compulsive, exclusive heterosexual object choice, and remain unwilling to explore and develop your normal, natural, God-given homosexual potential?
19. .A disproportionate number of criminals, welfare recipients, and other irresponsible or anti-social types are heterosexual. Why would you want to hire a heterosexual for a responsible position? 20. Do heterosexuals hate and/or distrust other of their own sex? Is that what makes them heterosexual? 21. Why are heterosexuals so promiscuous? 22. Why do you make a point of attributing heterosexuality to famous people? Is it to justify your own heterosexuality? 23. Could you really trust a Heterosexual therapist/counselor to be objective and unbiased? Don’t you fear that s/ he might be inclined to influence you in the direction of his/her own leanings

GRTC: Gay Road Tripping Campers Hi folks! We are finding that some people still haven’t heard about our group or know exactly what we are about. As our name says we are a group of people that like road trips, camping, just getting together for dinner, meeting up out on the town for drinks or pool, or anything else we can come up with that is fun and helps us meet new people with like interests. We use the word gay because we want that to be the focus to get our community more involved and meeting more people. But we in no means are solely open to gays; anyone with open mind can join. We also know that some members of our community think that all groups like this turn into a sexual activity. That is 100% not true with this group. If you are on an outing and meet the love of your life or new interest then awesome, it has happened already. We want this to be the group where men or women can feel comfortable and if you have kids they are more than welcome as well. This group is for our community and those accepting of it. We work together with those that may not have all the
equipment. Just let the group know of a need and we will see what we can do. We usually work together on meals splitting the cost around, if that’s not something you like then that’s fine as well. We have some good meals though with a LOT of food LOL. We have had some nice trips and have many ideas for future trips. We have our annual anniversary trip setup for the first weekend of December at our Home Park Petit Jean Mtn State Park. It’s one of the most beautiful areas, in our great state. We have been to Crater of Diamonds state park, Table Rock Lake state park in Missouri, we went to Rainbow Ranch just south of Dallas, and most recently to Degray State park here in Arkansas. Upcoming plans are the BIG Halobear campout at Cactus canyon Campground outside of Ava, MO the first weekend in October and our 2nd Annual Anniversary campout the first weekend in December. Not all trips are for all people but we have plans for many different styles of adventures. Also you can plan your own and post in the group to find others to join you. The group is loosely managed, we want it to be open to all of us and we welcome your involvement. We just ask that it always be about the subject of the group and appropriate for all eyes.
