A Message from the CEO, Larry Fladager A big thank you to all our generous sponsors, business partners and those who attended our annual Chairman’s Night event October 29th. This event would not have been possible without the generous support from our major sponsors at Affinity Insurance, Affinity Credit Union and the Northern Lights Casino. We also had support from Novus Law Group and Integrity Inspections with Scotiabank providing matching financial support for our silent auction in support of student scholarships at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. We are pleased to say that our silent auction was another success, and we are happy to be able to contribute toward two student scholarships. Again, without support from the local businesses that donated items, the silent auction would not have been possible. Your contributions to the silent auction are very much appreciated. Chairman’s Night was also an important event for the Chamber’s Board of Directors. Our board, including several new directors, were officially installed as part of the evening event. This dedicated group of volunteers is committed to helping the Chamber further its goals and are great ambassadors within the local business community. For photos from Chairman’s Night can be found beginning on Page 6. The Chamber is continuing with its efforts to provide opportunities for our members to engage and network on issues affecting the local business community. With that in mind, we are excited to participate in a policy roundtable happening this Monday, November 9 with the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce. This is an exclusive opportunity for Chamber members to discuss ongoing and emerging issues affecting their business operation in Prince Albert. To learn more about the policy roundtable, please follow the link. Finally, the Chamber will host Saskatchewan’s Minister of Finance, the Honourable Kevin Doherty on November 27th. More information about this event can be found here. November 2015
