Born in Cosenza, Italy, Chef Costantino has over 25 years of rich culinary experience around the globe. He has worked in Sicily, Lazio, Tuscany, Piemonte and Valle d’Aosta in Italy; Belgium; Switzerland; Germany; and in Japan since 1998. He is currently the Master Chef of Elio Locanda Italiana and Leader Master Chef for the Elio’s Catering Service. Elio Orsara (Owner) “My mission is to make people (of Japan) know the true culture, taste the true flavour, and experience the true joy of Italy.” Elio was born on October 25, 1966, in Cetraro, a city located in the region of Calabria in the southern part of the Italian mainland. He first started working in the five-star Grand Hotel San Michele in Calabria. Elio continued his culinary journey in the international cities of Milan and London, assuming cuisine and restaurant management responsibilities in Spain and the United States, before his arrival in Japan. Elio opened Elio Locanda Italiana in November 1996. The restaurant is synonymous with authentic Italian fare that has a distinctive touch of southern Calabrian and a staff respected for its hospitality and renowned smiling faces. Over the years Elio has also become the favourite dining spot of celebrities, including the giant of the fashion industry, Giorgio Armani.

The Spyder is claimed to hit 62 mph in 3.4 seconds on its way to a 201-mph top speed. The Spyder’s fabric roof can be lowered in 17 seconds at speeds up to 31 mph, and the rear window can be lowered independently from the top. A special duct calms the air “in the headroom” to keep turbulence in the small cabin to a minimum.
