Ijust returned from Parts Unlimited’s Spring 2025 NVP Product Expo in Louisville. Seeing the large crowd of dealers there, I know it’s safe to say that many of you were there as well. As always, it was a great event with over 300 Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties vendor exhibits and a fun Meet & Greet dealer reception. Even Mother Nature cooperated with some dry weather that you can’t always count on there in January. Watch for the detailed pictorial in our next issue.
What you will see in this issue are photos and stories about products we used to say were from Moose Racing and Moose Utility Division. Well, for 2025, both brands have joined together and will be known forever more as Moose Offroad. Be sure to check out the apparel and lubricant stories starting on page 36 and 50.
Supercross season is off and running, so we have a preview of top riders in THOR gear to follow. The ever-popular veteran Aaron Plessinger heads up the Parts Unlimited rider list in the 450 class, while 2-time SuperMotocross 250cc World Champion, Haiden Deegan heads up the large contingent of THOR-sponsored Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing riders in the 250cc class. At press time, Deegan had already moved to 2nd in the 250cc West point standings, with Cole Davies, a young rookie from Australia, joining the team this year and already battling for race wins. He was 5th in the 250 West point standings at press time. ■
PS: I recently attended a Celebration of Life for one of the truly great motorcyclists of our time, Malcolm Smith. Bruce Brown’s film, On Any Sunday, really put Malcolm on the map back in the 1970s, and he continually added to his legacy throughout his life. Malcolm started in the motorcycle business as a mechanic, then eventually bought the K&N retail store in Riverside. The Smith family continues to this day in their impressive multi-brand store also located in Riverside. Godspeed Malcolm.

Jeff Brown of EagleRider, and Marc McAllister of Brooks Stevens, Inc., will be leaving the board when their terms expire in January.
“The industry will face a lot of changes in the next few years with technology, trends, and policy, especially as the U.S. ushers in a new administration,” said Derek Brooks, MIC Board Chairman and Motorcycle Product Line Manager at Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. “There will be much work facing the association, so I am looking forward to working with Ashmore and Paul, who will bring their expertise and
fresh perspectives to the board, and to the continued contributions of Tim. I would also like to thank Jeff and Marc for their service to the board.”
“I am excited to get the opportunity to serve on the MIC board and I look forward to working with the other board members on some of the challenges our industry is facing,” Langley said. “Working for a cause is a great motivation and I trust my experience, commitment, and willingness to collaborate on important issues will benefit the MIC and its industry members during my tenure on the board.”
“It is always an honor to be elected or re-elected by a peerbased vote,” Calhoun said. “I take the role on the MIC board seriously and will continue representing the aftermarket segment of the powersports industry to the best of my ability. These last six years, we have made good strides in improving the value proposition offered to MIC members and continue to face tough regulations and legislatures head-on. I look forward to working hand-in-hand with MIC Chairman Derek Brooks, MIC President and CEO Christy LaCurelle, and MIC staff to ensure the aftermarket voice is heard and represented.” ■

In 1986, a group of riders looking to improve their off-road experiences created Moose Offroad. What started with a few trail tools soon expanded into a massive offering of two-wheel and four-wheel hard parts. This eventually evolved into Moose Racing and Moose Utility Division.
Since then, Moose has become a global giant providing both rider and machine with one of the largest selections of off-road products on the market. The entire line, from the company’s performance apparel to its reliable hard parts, is built around the original idea of function over fashion.
Because of this, Moose is going back to its roots with a reintroduction of Moose Offroad – one brand for everything two-wheel and four-wheel.
According to Jared Krueger, General Manager Moose Offroad, Arctiva, Z1R and Slippery, dealers can expect a smooth transition. Day-to-day operations will remain the same and there will be no need for any additional changes in a dealer’s routine when working with Moose, he added.
“The most noticeable change will be more modern updated packaging, a combining of our two websites (formerly Moose Racing and MUD) for one central database for anything Moose and returning to our off-road roots,” Krueger said. “Moose will be the one stop shop for anything and everything off-road.”
Krueger added that the brand will continue to develop and explore Adventure, dualsport and off-road-oriented gear, parts and accessories. (Turn to page 36 to see all the details on Moose Offroad’s newest pro-level racewear, the Alpha One collection.)
“Moose Offroad will continue to be the brand dealers and consumer’s trust,” Krueger said. “Quality products at an affordable price. Moose Offroad has you covered.” ■

To compete at the highest level in MotoAmerica Superbike racing, Josh Herrin had to be Josh Herrin. And in 2024, Herrin was just that. As a result, he was happy, comfortable, fast and consistent. He ended the year as the 2024 MotoAmerica Superbike Champion, which puts him in the enviable position of starting the 2025 season with a big number one on the front and sides of his Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati Panigale V4 R.
Herrin snagged the title with a six-win, 13-podium season that earned him his second Superbike crown by 55 points over four-time Superbike Champion Cameron Beaubier in one of the most competitive seasons in AMA Superbike
history. How competitive? Seven different riders won Superbike races in 2024. But none of them put the season together like Herrin did.
“If I had to just pinpoint one thing that turned things around for me, it would be hard,” Herrin said. “I’d say it would be two things, for sure. It’s the full circle of everybody around me just being perfect now. There is not one person on the team that, when I walk into the box, I don’t feel comfortable with. I’ve had that a lot of times in my career where there’s just that one person…. I’m a very big energy person, so when I walk into a room, if someone is bringing down the energy, it affects me. When I’m going to do my job and I’m going to have to push my limits as hard as I can, I need the room to be filled with good energy. That’s super important.
“This year, everyone was cool. I wanted to go hang out with everyone. We were cooking dinners together. We were going out to dinner together. There was just so much good chemistry going on with the whole team.
To say that his competitors didn’t respect Herrin would be inaccurate. However, it’s fair to stay that they may not have always taken him seriously. He’d shown he could win races, and he did win that Superbike title way back in 2013, but …. Well, there’s no questioning now what Herrin is made of.
“I never want to come across in the wrong way when I say those things, but it’s reality,” Herrin said of the feeling of finally arriving at the top of his game. “There just finally came a point in my career – it’s taken a lot longer than I thought it would take, but when it’s your time, it’s your time.
“I think, right now, all of the stars are aligning for me. I have the perfect team. I have the perfect bike. I’ve got the perfect family for me. Everything is great. I’m just riding the wave. I think that’s what it takes. Everything just has to align. You’ve got to have the right people around you. It’s got to be the right time in your life. I really think now is my time.” ■

THOR makes racewear, and the best way to develop, improve and make great racewear is to go racing with some of the best riders in the world. That’s been THOR’s mission for decades and that mission continues with the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season.
“We are thrilled with how the 2025 Supercross season has shaped up for our THOR factory racing team,” said Josh Shorter, Global Brand Director, THOR MX.
“Our continuing relationships with Aaron Plessinger and the Star Racing Yamaha 250 team are invaluable to us for the star power and winning prowess in each of these riders. We are equally as excited with the addition of the AEO Powersports KTM team, bringing their passion, drive and determination to make an impact on the West coast series.
“Not only do these teams and riders shine under the stadium lights on a given Saturday night, but their wealth of knowledge and experience serves to make THOR’s products that much better as we progress collectively. Pay close attention, this new era for THOR is just getting started.”
Here are your Parts Unlimited/THOR Supercross riders for 2025:
Aaron Plessinger #7, Red Bull KTM – Plessinger, with his cowboy hat and upbeat persona, is a fan favorite of the sport. In 2018 Plessinger won the 250cc West Supercross Championship and the 250cc National Motocross Championship and then moved up to the 450cc class. He scored a lot of podiums, but never quite achieved the overall victory until the 2024 San Diego Supercross where he scored a dominant win in the muddy conditions and got a standing ovation from the fans as well as the other 450cc Supercross racers. For 2025 he says he’s more comfortable on the KTM than ever before. We can expect Plessinger to strive for a lot of top fives and podiums and a few more victories that could put him in the hunt for the 450cc Supercross Championship.
Haiden Deegan 250cc Supercross West #38/SuperMotocross #1/ Motocross #1 Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing –
Deegan turned Pro in 2023 and rose quickly to the top of the 250cc class. In his first few races he was already in the top five, and then started getting podiums, finishing as the runner-up in the 250cc Supercross East. Then, in the 250cc Pro Motocross Championship he won two events and finished fourth in the series. He was 17 years old. Deegan was the 2023 SuperMotocross 250cc World Champion.
In 2024 Deegan earned his first 250cc Supercross victory at Arlington and finished runner-up in the 250cc Supercross East. He won the 250cc Pro Motocross National Championship and his second 250cc SuperMotocross World Championship. At Anaheim 2 in January, he won his first 250cc West race of the season.
Max Anstie #31, 250cc Supercross West, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing – Born in the UK, Anstie began racing professionally in 2009. He joined Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing in 2024. Anstie is full of surprises, in his long career he has just gotten better adding a handful of podiums and a 250 SX East win to his credits.

Michael Mosiman #93, 250cc Supercross West, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing - Mosiman made his first professional start at Hangtown. He finished third in points for the 2022 250cc Supercross West with one 250SX victory and is ready to add a few more podiums to his tally.

Cole Davies #100, 250cc Supercross West, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing – A native New Zealander, Davies made his professional start at Anaheim 1 in 2025 and is a grad of the Supercross Futures where he scored two wins and four podiums. He was fifth in points as this issue went to press.

» Parts Magazine wishes the THOR riders the best as they battle it out the rest of the Supercross season, all of them vying for the ultimate prize.
HAIDEN DEEGAN SPORTMODE BRAVO
[SPRING 2025]
In 2024, THOR made a big splash in the market with a brand update and the launch of its new racewear collections. The pinnacle of this collection is the SPORTMODE line, racewear designed to enable that competitive drive for victory for which THOR is famous. However, SPORTMODE isn’t the only new gear collection launch we’ve seen from THOR in recent months. Appropriately named, LAUNCHMODE is another next-gen option introduced for a versatile range of riders bringing modern technology in materials and design to classic fit and function. The line has received some fresh looks for Spring 2025.
“Our racewear for Spring ’25 is an evolution of the significant brand update that we launched last Fall,” explained Josh Shorter, Global Brand Director for THOR. “These LAUNCHMODE and SPORTMODE pieces further emphasize the new THOR look and icon logo, with direct graphic influences from our factory athlete’s custom kits that fans were really excited about this past season.”
So, how do these new gear collections achieve their competitive prowess and modern functionality? Focusing first on SPORTMODE, it’s important to understand the THOR team’s concerted motivation to create this collection. Countless hours of development and progress over decades of serving motocross racers led the team to fully understand that progress waits for no one, so the team went after it and SPORTMODE was born.
For THOR, SPORTMODE is the peak of athletic motocross performance. It’s based on a minimalistic approach that maximizes technology to help push riders to higher levels of competition.
THOR grades its racewear on sliding scales across four major characteristics: Fit, ventilation, mobility and durability. How does SPORTMODE stack up? The fit is heavy on the side of athletic bias to complement its dedicated riders. Mobility is pushed all the way to the max, a testament to the advanced design and materials THOR invested in this collection. Durability is increased over standard, and ventilation increased even further yet.
Spring 2025 brings eye-catching new visual designs and colors to SPORTMODE that stay true to THOR’s commitment of not falling into the status quo. The first is SPORTMODE Flite, offered in an untraditional yet race-y mint and copper color combination along with gray and purple.
The second is dubbed SPORTMODE Bravo, and, if you watched the opening round of this year’s Supercross season in Anaheim, you may recognize it as the racewear being worn by Star Racing Yamaha-mounted phenom
Haiden Deegan. This set blends navy and white with clean and modern pops of copper and design elements for a completed look fit for a pro.
Moving the spotlight over to LAUNCHMODE, this collection is designed to take the harsh punishment that can be dished out by riders of any level or discipline. Whether your customers are weekend warriors hitting the trails or they’re lining up at the gate, LAUNCHMODE has them covered, and now its in new looks for Spring 2025.
Analyzing LAUNCHMODE on the same grading scales as SPORTMODE, the overall fit leans more on the relaxed end, while ventilation and mobility sit at a happy medium, increased over standard. Durability is where LAUNCHMODE shines, pushed toward the high end of the scale.
Many of your customers will likely be excited to see the new USA-inspired LAUNCHMODE Patriot, proudly displaying US colors. That same design is also available in an acid and black colorway for a race-ready look.
Another exciting new addition to LAUNCHMODE for 2025 is a gearset called Vented Raid. Proudly tested and proven by riders like Aaron Plessinger, the Vented Raid jersey features full chassis ventilation for maximum airflow, perfect for those high-temp motos. Plus, this kit makes a bold statement with its lightning-fast design and black, gray and orange colors.
These new SPORTMODE and LAUNCHMODE kits for Spring 2025 wouldn’t be complete without updated gloves to match. New colorways and designs are available to match the new kits, all featuring the same high-level construction for unobstructed mobility and race-developed comfort.
In addition to the standard gloves, LAUNCHMODE also offers an XP glove design which features additional top hand coverage using durable TPR material. This provides a bit of extra protection uniquely placed to minimally impact hand mobility. These too are available in multiple colors to match your customers’ gear.
THOR continues to build upon its next generation of racewear, all in the company’s quest to re-imagine what racewear can be. ■

The story of Muc-Off began in 1991, when Alex Trimnell, now Muc-Off’s CEO, had his bike stolen at school in the U.K. On a family trip to the U.S., Alex found a replacement bike – perfect except for its cheap forks. His father, Rex, a motorcycling enthusiast, improved the design using principles from motorbike technology, creating the world’s first twincrown mountain bike fork.
When household cleaners were found to damage anodized parts, Rex also developed a gentle, eco-friendly, pink bike cleaner. Muc-Off was born, beginning in 1994 as a humble, family-run U.K. business. Today, Muc-Off is a global leader in cleaning, lubrication and protection products relied on by millions worldwide.
Breaking into the U.S. market was a significant step for Muc-Off. America’s passion for motorcycles, dirtbikes, ATVs and UTVs presented the perfect opportunity to bring the company’s highly effective, eco-friendly products to a whole new audience. Riders across the U.S. were quick to embrace the brand, drawn to the blend of performance,
Muc-Off makes sure that your customers will not miss the product line in your parts department. The company’s signature black and pink displays not only grab eyeballs, but also highlight the vast array of bike care and maintenance products offered.
sustainability and distinctive personality. From cleaning solutions to protective sprays and lubricants, Muc-Off products have become trusted tools used in more than 100 countries.
The past five years have been nothing short of transformative. With an unwavering commitment to innovation and a deep understanding of riders’ needs, Muc-Off has seen massive growth across all areas of the business. Its tagline, “for riders, by riders,” is more than just words, it’s a reflection of how the company approaches everything it does.
One standout product during this time has been MucOff’s Ceramic Coating, which has raised the bar for performance. Muc-Off has also extended its range to include accessories and products for riders’ helmets and apparel, making Muc-Off a one-stop shop for all things bike and powersports maintenance.
Muc-Off’s reputation has been bolstered by a strong presence at major trade shows and high-profile sponsorships of top athletes and racing teams. Over the past three
years, the brand has been a headline sponsor for Muc-Off FXR Club MX Supercross team and, previously, Muc-Off Honda as well as partnerships with Moto GP rider Andrea Dovizioso and Supercross star Justin Brayton.
This presence has driven brand awareness in the U.S. market. This year, Muc-Off is stepping it up even further with a new partnership with 2024 MotoGP World Champion Jorge Martin. These collaborations help Muc-Off connect with riders on a global scale and keep the brand at the forefront of powersports innovation. Alongside the athlete partnerships, Muc-Off will attend key national
U.S. events, including Daytona Bike Week alongside many other retailer and grassroots events.
Looking ahead to 2025, one of the most exciting developments for Muc-Off is its exclusive partnership with Parts Unlimited. This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in Muc-Off’s U.S. strategy, giving the company unparalleled distribution reach and ensuring that retailers across the country have seamless access to its full range of products.
For retailers, this partnership means it’s easier than ever to stock and display Muc-Off products, allowing them to meet the needs of their customers with confidence. Additionally, there will be a U.S.-focused recruitment surge to support growth plans.
Retailers know that success in the powersports industry isn’t just about having great products, it’s also about how those products are presented. Muc-Off’s signature black and pink displays are designed to grab attention, while also educating customers about the importance of bike care and maintenance. From point-of-sale setups to product demonstrations, Muc-Off works closely with retailers to create a shopping experience that not only drives sales but also strengthens the connection between riders and the brand.
A significant advantage for Muc-Off is the ability to cater to the diverse needs of powersports retailers and their customers. Whether it’s cleaning solutions for motorcycles, lubricants for UTVs and ATVs, or protective sprays for snowmobiles, the Muc-Off range is designed to cover it all. These high-performance products meet the demands of everyone from weekend riders to professional racers.
Muc-Off’s focus on sustainability is another key trait. With biodegradable formulations and recyclable packaging, Muc-Off is helping riders keep their machines performing at their best without compromising on environmental responsibility. Today’s consumers are more eco-conscious than ever, and Muc-Off’s commitment to sustainability resonates with riders who want to protect the planet as well as their bikes.
As Muc-Off enters a new chapter, the company remains committed to pushing boundaries and setting new standards for innovation in powersports. The exclusive partnership with Parts Unlimited is just one example of how Muc-Off is strengthening its position in the U.S. market. For Muc-Off, it’s all about staying true to the brand while embracing the opportunities that lie ahead. ■

The latest collection from ICON made its debut at NVP Louisville, and if you were there, we’re sure you couldn’t miss it. The Scatterbrain collection includes a helmet, jacket, jersey and gloves, and the artwork is designed for riders who don’t mind calling attention to themselves.
Starting at the top, the Airform MIPS Scatterbrain Helmet features the vibrant Scatterbrain graphic on top of ICON’s Airform helmet. As an added bonus, glow-in-the-dark elements help this graphic to be seen at night, too. The helmet comes with a Fog-Free RST Purple Optics shield and an internal DropShield, so riders can choose just how much they want to cut the glare.
What’s underneath counts, too, and this helmet is equipped with the MIPS Brain Protection System. What that means is that in an angled impact, a low-friction layer in the liner allows the helmet to slide relative to the head to help reduce rotational forces that can cause injuries.
The Overlord3 Mesh Scatterbrain Jacket is made of Iron Weave Mesh, which ensures plenty of airflow while still providing strength and the perfect canvas for the graphic. The durable mesh chassis is great for hot days, and it’s bolstered by features that keep a rider wellguarded. There are 300D Poly reinforcement panels in the shoulders and other high-impact areas, plus removable armor for an added layer of defense. The D3O Viper back protector is complemented by LP1 elbow and shoulder impact protectors.
And, for any rider who is still worried about being noticed in this gear, the ICON logo on the front of the jacket also glows in the dark.
For nighttime riding, that Airform MIPS Scatterbrain helmet features glow-in-thedark elements.
Riders who want to rock a more casual look can put the Scatterbrain Jersey on over ICON’s Field Armor Compression shirt, or pair it with a combo like the ICON Field Armor 3 Vest and Elbow Armor.
ICON also has Scatterbrain T-shirts available, but with a limited-edition run of just 250 pieces, they’re going to go fast. Riders who love the graphic will want to jump on getting the short-sleeve tee.
The team at ICON didn’t want to leave hands out of the bold design fun, so the Hooligan Scatterbrain Glove is part of the collection, too. The Scatterbrain artwork is sublimated on the polyester mesh backhand. Like the jacket and jersey, this material ensures plenty of airflow. The palm is made from Ax Laredo, which has the look, feel and durability of leather. The touchscreen-friendly fingers allow riders to use their devices without having to take their gloves off. ■

There are certain segments of motorcycling that require a lot of the tires, and sport-touring is one of them. A sport-touring tire has to balance the high-performance characteristics one would expect for that “sport” part of the name, but it also has to stand up to the “touring” side of things, providing longevity and predictability in all weather conditions.
When Avon Tyres recently updated its branding, the Spirit ST tire was given the tagline “Made for the endless ride.” This expertly balanced tire provides all the things sport-touring riders are looking for thanks to its design, compounds and technology, and that includes outstanding mileage.
The compound used for the Spirit ST has a high silica content, which is blended with cutting-edge polymer technology to produce outstanding wet grip and mileage. The multi-compound rear tire further enhances longevity, letting riders add up the miles on the road while still enjoying grip and stability in the corners.
Another notable piece of the Spirit ST design is Avon’s 3D Sipes. These interlocking three-dimensional points in the sipes aren’t even visible, but they make a big difference in the handling and predictability of the tire. With 3D Sipes, the Spirit ST gets a boost in stability and grip, while tread flex is limited.
All of these characteristics add up to a tire that is extremely reliable, even on cold days, when bringing tires up to temperature is faster and easier thanks to the silica content. And, of course, riders can expect these predictable traits in both the wet and the dry. For a sport-touring rider, having this kind of versatility in a tire is an absolute must.
“Spirit ST is the perfect tire for the sport-touring rider who wants stability for long rides and grip to push it when they hit the corners,” says Don Argento, Manager of Motorcycle Sales & Marketing North America for Avon Tyres.
Dealers can easily get their sport-touring customers ready for the ride with the Spirit ST tire, thanks to the range of sizes available. With 16 sizes to choose from, the Spirit ST is a great choice for everything from lightweight models all the way up to heavyweight sport-touring bikes.
In all, the Spirit ST tire is simply a great all-around tire, providing that expert blend of performance characteristics and longevity that will take riders on everything from local rides to long-distance tours. ■
» Talk to your Parts rep to learn more about the Spirit ST tire for sport-touring bikes. You can find the sizes and fitments in the Tire & Service catalog, and at www.parts-unlimited.com.
When you need maximum mileage and unrivalled grip, go for Avon Spirit ST tyres. Built to take you as far as you want to go, they are based on the latest construction technology and a groundbreaking dual tread compound – which means better grip, better handling and, when it comes to heading out, miles and miles of mileage.
For the past 75 years, Barnett has been a leader in off-road clutch technology. With decades of experience, it’s easy to understand why Barnett products are a trusted choice for racers and weekend warriors seeking smooth and reliable clutch action, precise engagement and extended overall clutch life.
Barnett clutches allow riders to tame the arm-ripping horsepower produced by modern stock dirtbikes by delivering the power to the ground more precisely.
Dirt Digger Clutch Kits offer one-stop shopping by including everything needed for a complete clutch replacement in one kit. Each kit contains C22 carbon or K22 Kevlar friction plates, tempered steel drive plates and a heavyduty spring set. These kits deliver more positive clutch engagement thanks to segmented friction plate material designs that allow increased oil flow for more consistent performance and longer clutch life.
Heavy-duty clutch springs are shot-peened and heattreated for added durability. Each kit is pre-measured for proper stack height before packaging for a complete drop-in-ready installation. Dirt Digger Clutch Kits include fitments for most late-model ATVs and dirt bikes.
Barnett was among the first to introduce Kevlar-based friction plates to the industry in 1991. Today, the company
continues to improve its friction material formula with new K22 Kevlar and C22 carbon-based friction materials made exclusively for Barnett.
The new friction materials have greater heat tolerance that results in more consistent, fade-free clutch performance and seamless power transfer to the rear wheel. Sold individually or as a set as part of Barnett’s Dirt Digger Clutch Kits, K22 and C22 friction plates are a practical option when replacing the OEM friction plates. Every Barnett K22 and C22 clutch plate is made in-house to strict quality control standards.
“We were the first to use Kevlar and Carbon clutch friction plates decades ago, and we’ve continued to make improvements to them ever since,” explains Chris Taylor, Marketing Director for Barnett. “As a family-owned and operated company since 1948, we have continued to manufacture our off-road clutch products in-house from exclusive materials and cutting-edge designs created at our Southern California facility. We take pride in the strict quality control standards that result in longer clutch life, smoother shifts and fade-free performance.” ■

When the 2025 off-road racing season gets underway, Moose Offroad riders are going to be sporting a new look. The Alpha One racewear is the newest top-of-the-line off-road gear from Moose Offroad, and the company’s stable of pro riders will be putting the gear to the ultimate test on tracks and trails across North America. (See story on pg. 14 about the relaunch of the Moose Offroad brand name.)
Actually, many of those riders have already put the Alpha One racewear to the test. Moose Offroad works exten-
sively with its riders to test and refine its gear throughout the design process. Riders provide feedback on everything from how gear feels to how well it stands up to the hazards of the trail.
While the Alpha One jersey and pants are designed for top-level competitors, this new gear is also an attractive choice for any rider who wants premium racewear that is packed with features to ensure maximum comfort, looks and ventilation.
For dealers wondering where the Alpha One gear fits into Moose Offroad’s lineup of off-road apparel, it will be right at the top. It’s a replacement for the Agroid gear, which served as a design springboard for the Alpha One racewear.
“Alpha One is our fully vented overhaul of our top-of-the-line racewear,” says Austin Weaver, Product Specialist, Moose Offroad. “We took what we learned with the Agroid gear and added maximum ventilation and better materials.”
In addition to those improvements in ventilation and materials, the Alpha One racewear also has a more athletic cut to make sure riders have the perfect blend of flexibility and movement without the gear being bulky.
The Alpha One jersey is made from a lightweight, multi-panel stretch polymer. The stretch and the shaping allow completely unrestricted movement, so even the hardest-working riders will have no issues with binding. The material is also excellent at keeping a rider cool and comfortable thanks to its light weight and moisture-wicking properties. Sweat gets pulled away from the body and dries quickly.
To further aid in staying cool, there are mesh panels in key areas that keep air flowing without sacrificing the durability of the jersey. Another thoughtful touch in the Alpha One jersey’s design is the taping on the collar and cuffs. This construction method provides a smooth, irritation-free finish.
The team at Moose Offroad considered every aspect of a racer’s needs while designing the Alpha One jersey. The athletic fit reduces drag, and the fade-resistant sublimated graphics continue to look vibrant ride after ride—and wash after wash.
Additionally, a hydration hose pass-through allows a hydration pack to be integrated effortlessly with the jersey. Endurance riders can get their full hydration set up with ease.
The Alpha One pants are designed to give riders maximum range of motion without being cumbersome. At the same time, racers need gear that can tackle even the toughest trails, so durability is a must. Moose Offroad offers the best of both worlds with these pants.
For that performance aspect, the Alpha One pants feature four-way stretch panels that provide flexibility in key zones. This allows the pants to have a tailored fit without hindering a rider in the slightest. Additionally, the pre-curved legs are designed for the right feel in a rider’s natural position on the bike, while a three-point waist adjuster ensures a perfect fit.
The Alpha One pants include full-grain leather inner knee panels that provide a much-needed barrier between the
rider’s legs and hot spots on the bike, but the panels also aid in grip, so they are as much a performance feature as a durability one.
The knees got even more attention in the durability department. There are reinforced high-density knee panels to add an extra layer of defense in high-wear areas.
Making sure a rider stays cool is about more than ventilating the jersey. The Alpha One pants have perforated ventilation zones to keep air flowing over a rider’s legs, too. These precision laser-cut holes are designed to enhance comfort without compromising the strength of the chassis.
Like the jersey, the Alpha One pants feature sublimated graphics that continue looking bright and professional, even as the racing season goes on and the gear continues to be worn in the harshest of conditions.
The Alpha One racewear is available in four colorways. Moose Offroad offers a full range of off-road gear, so riders can get outfitted from head to toe in the right style for their riding preferences and budget. ■

Tire manufacturers know that no matter how many accolades a tire gets, or how many championships a brand wins, there’s always more to achieve. The new Pirelli Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft tire has a lot to live up to, considering the success of its predecessors, but Pirelli-supported riders are eager to prove the new tire’s competitiveness this season.
The Scorpion MX32 tire is part of Pirelli’s extensive lineup of off-road tires, with options to serve every off-road riding need, from the top levels of racing to trails and Adventure riding. The Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft is firmly in the competition category, since it’s the successor to Pirelli’s most successful motocross tire in the FIM Motocross World Championship.
Pirelli has a lot to brag about in this arena, having earned 82 world titles since 1980. All this experience at the top of the world’s motocross stage has enabled Pirelli to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with an off-road tire. The Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft is a new tire, designed from the ground up to be a winner in motocross competition.
The Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft front tire boasts improved braking behavior and cornering capability compared to its predecessor. The rear tire is designed to provide the kind of traction racers need for holeshots and corner exits.
Altogether, the Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft improves the bike’s performance across medium-hard terrain. The blocks provide stability during both braking and cornering, maintaining reliability even in the most extreme
conditions. The tread pattern and compound were developed with feedback from the racers that the tire was designed to support.
One of the places where the Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft will be put through its paces is in the 2025 Motocross World Championship. This year, Pirelli added RM Red Bear Kawasaki to its list of supported teams. Pirelli is also a series sponsor for the AMA Arenacross Championship.
In addition to being used by some of the top riders in the sport, the tire is also available for all of your customers through Parts Unlimited. Pirelli takes pride in selling the same tires used to win races and titles across the world.
“The new Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft tire represents the ultimate combination of cutting-edge R&D, and the invaluable insights of MXGP champions,” said Brian Davenport, Pirelli Tires. “Weekend warriors and championship contenders alike will benefit from the improved performance of the MX32 Mid Soft tire, which, along with all Pirelli tires, is the same whether you’re lining up for an MXGP or a local hare scramble – it’s the latest example of Pirelli’s motto: ‘We sell what we race, we race what we sell.’”
Spotting the Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft tire should be easy. New technology allows the sidewalls to have highcontrast lettering for better readability. The yellow Pirelli badging will be especially easy to spot on the track. ■

Depending on where you live, you might be noticing more and more UTVs on the road these days. More towns, and even some states, are allowing UTVs to get street-legal status, as long as a few simple requirements are followed. One of those requirements is turn signals, and RAVEK Plug-and-Play Apex Lights for UTVs make them easy to add.
This UTV turn signal kit is an example of RAVEK’s goal to offer practical solutions that can be installed effortlessly. All of the company’s lighting products are completely plug-and-play, so customers can install the UTV turn signal kit themselves. By making a UTV street legal, it’s easy for riders to transition from riding trails to riding around town. RAVEK Executive Vice President Marc Wolfram says this convenience has big benefits.
“It’s becoming more and more accepted throughout the entire U.S. and northern Canada, and it’s especially accepted in rural areas, as well as states like Arizona and Montana,” Wolfram says. “A lot of communities are finding that if they allow UTVs on the street, it becomes a good tourist attraction. UTVs will ride on snowmobile trails in all four seasons.”
Each RAVEK UTV turn signal kit includes one set of turn signals that can be mounted virtually anywhere thanks to their design. They can go on the roof, sides, doors or even on the roll cage, so customers can get the best setup for their vehicle. The lights themselves are extremely bright, making them easily visible on the road.
RAVEK’s new Plugand-Play Apex Lights for UTVs make it easy for your customers to make their UTVs street legal. The kits include everything needed to install the lighting, and includes a horn.
The turn signal kit also integrates with the existing taillights, allowing them to function as indicators when turning and to pulse during braking. Riders who want to take things one step further can add the Red Plug-and-Play Apex Lights, which work in conjunction with the turn signal kit to enhance visibility from the rear.
There’s no need to worry about accidentally leaving a turn signal on since the kit has built-in timers. All a rider needs to do is hit the indicator once to allow the signal to run for 15 seconds, twice to run for 30 seconds and 3 times to run for 75 seconds.
RAVEK offers an Unlimited Lifetime Warranty on its products, including the UTV turn signal kit. If the product ever breaks, it can be replaced.
“Our product line has an Unlimited Lifetime Warranty, so people can feel confident and get great customer service,” says Wolfram. “Our MSRP is attractive based on the value, the warranty and the plug-and-play installation.”
That plug-and-play installation is designed to be as easy as possible, with detailed graphics that walk a customer through each step of the process. There’s also an installation video for each product and fitment option. (Check your local and state regulations about UTV street use.) ■

The right tire is the one you don’t have to think about during a ride. If a rider has confidence in their tires, then that means they can enjoy the ride rather than wondering if the tires are going to handle the curves with ease and go the distance. It’s that effortless, confident feel Bridgestone gives riders with the new Battlax Sport Touring T33.
The Battlax Sport Touring T33 is the company’s longestlasting sport-touring tire to date. And the improvement over its predecessor, the Battlax Sport Touring T32, is a significant one. In testing, the Bridgestone team measured a wear life improvement of up to 47 percent.
This extended wear life is achieved through the materials, design and construction of the Battlax T33. Bridgestone engineers combined a high-resistance polymer with a revised tread pattern to create a tire that resists wear degradation. In addition to its extended wear life, riders can also choose the Battlax T33 knowing they will get consistent performance throughout the life of the tire.
Compared to the Battlax T32, the Battlax T33 boasts a newly developed compound in the rear center, a new tread pattern, and an optimized profile to ensure an excellent level of grip, stability and handling. All of these features make the Battlax T33 an outstanding choice for sport-touring.
Of course, a premium sport-touring tire needs to handle well in addition to providing longevity. The Battlax T33
delivers in the corners as well as during straight-line riding. The stability and responsiveness of this tire are achieved with an optimized pattern stiffness. This feature enables sport-touring enthusiasts to go through the corners with full confidence that the Battlax T33 will provide the grip and stability they need to enjoy every minute of the ride.
Sport-touring riders who are traveling long distances know they’re going to face a wide variety of weather conditions, and having tires that can perform in all of them is paramount. The Battlax T33 is designed to give riders enhanced grip in both the wet and the dry. The enhanced compound technology incorporated into the tire ensures outstanding traction and handling even when conditions are wet.
“Sporting-touring riders are some of the most demanding in the sport,” notes Keith Willcome, Product Strategy Manager, Bridgestone. “The Battlax Sport Touring T33 line eliminates the need for GT and standard-spec tires, making the dealer’s parts department’s job easier with fewer SKUs to inventory for the same coverage. Having the new T33 in stock, in the broad variety of sizes, will ensure riders have instant access to the best Bridgestone Sport Touring tire ever.”
Bridgestone is currently offering the Battlax T33 in 10 sizes, including four front and six rear sizes. ■

Designed to find the end of the road.
Finding just how open the road is. That’s what really matters. The Battlax T33 is made to go the extra mile, fighting wear degradation with up to 47% longer wear life.1 It’s a sport touring tire that delivers confidence in cornering, giving riders the edge to chase the horizon.
Arai commissions world-renowned artists and has a team of professionals dedicated to their craft who apply the decals and paint their helmets by hand. That’s because Arai knows that even if it makes an incredible helmet, riders will be reluctant to wear it unless it looks good. The Block Black Frost, Battle, Stream, and Flame graphics for the VX-PRO4 off-road helmet continue this craft, and Arai’s pursuit of gains in protection.
“Careful hand position, flattening and smoothing the decal sheets onto the spherical helmet shell, all while concerned that the finished product lives up to the Arai reputation are just steps of Arai’s decal process,” says Brian Weston, managing director at Arai Americas. This work cannot be left to inexperienced workers, as it requires the care and necessary techniques of crafters with a wealth of experience. The result is sophisticated and handcrafted graphics brought to life.
“Aldo Drudi, the Italian artist behind the iconic Drudi Performance brand, designed the Block Black Frost and Stream graphics,” explains Weston. Block Black Frost plays on Drudi’s existing Block design, which emits bright colors including fluorescent yellow and pink. With Block Black Frost, however, the pattern is presented in grayscale for a subtler appearance. The Stream graphics in Blue and Pink confuse the eye with wavelike patterns that appear to be moving. Steam Pink in particular challenges your focus and looks fast, even sitting still.
Arai enlisted another Italian firm, MRD Racing Designs, to come up with the Flame and Battle graphics for even more compelling designs. Flame, in its two-color variants, is a dose of retro Americana. There’s a checked pattern
on the peak, contrasting vents, and of course, those oldschool, outlined flames. MRD’s Battle graphic in Purple and Yellow are a throwback as well, mixing ’90s neon with modern, brutalist block and pinstripe patterning.
The VX-PRO4 is Arai’s helmet for motocross, off-road, and enduro riding. “Its shell is based on glancing-off performance, giving it a round, strong, and smooth shell to skip, slide and avoid impact energy,” Weston explains. “Shell strength and shape are essential for glancing off, which is why the VXPro 4 uses the R75 concept, which maintains a continuous radius of at least 75mm above the acknowledged test line so that the helmet is round and smooth.” Arai’s hand-laid shell is essential for the shell strength to glance off, and Arai’s proprietary one-piece multi-density EPS liner works together with the shell for increased gains in protection.
These exciting new graphics will draw your customers in. Once you have their attention, give them the full scoop on everything else the VX-PRO4 offers. ■

Whatever powersports discipline your customers come from, and whatever brand they ride, they appreciate it when their bike or ATV/UTV is clean. Bright paint, glistening plastics, a clear windshield and glossy chrome make vehicles look better, and it doesn’t need to take a bucket of soapy water to get there. Quick Detailer from Klotz Synthetics is a spray on, wipe off product that shines and protects paint, metal, and plastic, so your customers can have a freshlooking bike, fast.
Klotz has been around since 1959 and is well known for its premium 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine oils, oil-change kits, octane boosters, fuel stabilizer, aerosols, and other lubricants and chemicals. Klotz knows chemistry, but it wasn’t until 2022 that the Indiana-based company applied its expertise to a cleaner. Quick Detailer is the result of extensive testing and provides the outstanding performance your customers expect from Klotz products.
“There’s no shortage of cleaners and polishes on the market,” says Chris Mileti, commercial manager at Klotz Synthetics, “so we knew our Quick Detailer needed features and benefits that stand out.” To that end, Klotz spent over a year refining its formula and testing it in the field, including with employees’ bikes, cars, ATV/UTVs, and boats, plus many of the race teams Klotz sponsors. A fire department in Cleveland, Ohio, was even part of the test group.
“The feedback was unanimous,” says Mileti. “The Quick Detailer formula is amazing at removing dust and light surface grime, restoring shine, and protecting the underlying finish between washes.” Key solvents help lift away dirt while carnauba wax provides a durable boundary layer that offers up to six weeks of protection.
While some products can leave a haze when used on windshields and black plastic trim, Quick Detailer wipes clean without any residue. Even when this Klotz cleaner is cutting through road grime, your customers don’t have to worry about streaks. It really is as simple as spraying it onto a surface and then wiping it off.
Klotz Quick Detailer is excellent for use on gas tanks, fenders, dash screens, windshields, and even helmets. It’s
available in a large 23-ounce bottle for shops and garages, and is also offered in a compact 4-ounce travel size. “Our motorcycle customers loved Quick Detailer and wanted to be able to pack it so they could use it on the road, so we launched the 4-ounce size,” says Mileti. The smaller bottle is ideal for storage in saddlebags, and the pump nozzle is great for detailing motorcycles.
A clean motorcycle will make your customers happy, and with Klotz Quick Detailer shinier paint, plastic and chrome is just a spray away. ■

When it comes to control and comfort on a motorcycle, having the right grips is a must. A rider needs to know their grips will stay put, be comfortable even on rough rides and provide that vital connection between the bike and the hands.
Domino Racing has been in business since 1951, and the Italian brand debuted its first grips all the way back in 1955. Since then, Domino Racing grips have become a staple of both the street and off-road scenes, from OEM fitments to fully kitted race bikes. And, with the introduction of the new D200 Lock On grips for off-road bikes, Domino Racing is continuing to innovate what’s possible. Domino Racing grips and throttle controllers are OEM on most European motorcycles, and a glance around the FIM MotoGP and MXGP paddocks will show that the brand’s grips are a popular choice among top racers. In the U.S., teams like Vision Wheel M4 Ecstar Suzuki rely on Domino Racing grips for their stable of MotoAmerica competitors.
One of the reasons Domino Racing grips have been so popular is because of their combination of comfort and durability. The grips are made from a proprietary thermoplastic material that is soft enough to keep a rider’s hands happy but durable enough to stand up to the rigors of hard riding.
The new D200 Lock On grips are a great example of Domino Racing’s blend of comfort, quality and innovation. These off-road grips feature a medium-soft compound with a specially designed knurl pattern to provide excellent comfort as well as effortless grip.
Because of the lock-on design, these grips don’t require any glue. That means riders get quality grips that stay securely in place without the need for messy adhesives or difficult removal. D200 Lock On grips are designed for 7/8-inch handlebars, and there are six interchangeable throttle pulleys to allow the grips to work with most 125cc-500cc off-road motorcycles.
Since its inception in 1951, Domino Racing has been in the hands of the Bertini family. Today, the third generation is at the helm, and the company teamed up with G2 Ergonomics to be its North American importer.
G2 co-founder Gary Gibbs anticipates that off-road riders will be thrilled with the latest product from the Italian company. “We’re really excited about the new Domino D200 grips!” Gibbs says. “Until now, lock-on grips were sort of disposable. These D200 grips have lock-on convenience with the performance and durability of glue-on grips.” ■

Getting geared up for enduro riding includes having boots that can stand up to not just the actual riding, but to the unforgiving terrain, as well. Alpinestars has built on the success of the Tech10 motocross boot to introduce the new Tech10 Enduro boots. This enduro version takes the comfort and safety features of the Tech10 boots and adds increased traction and optimized functionality for enduro riding.
The Tech10 Enduro boots might share a lot of the same features with the Tech 10, but there are some key differences. For one thing, they are softened in strategic areas to provide additional flexibility. While a more rigid boot might be preferred on the motorcross course or even for shorter trail rides, enduro riders need to have that extra range of movement.
At the same time, some areas of the Tech10 Enduro boot have been reinforced for additional durability in areas where it’s needed most. The upper lateral calf area has been bolstered, and the pull flap has increased durability.
Underneath, the sole of the boot was specially developed by Alpinestars for enduro riding. The lugged sole still provides a comfortable, stable stance on the pegs, but it also provides traction for those times a rider needs to get off the bike in tough environments. Alpinestars achieved this balance by sculpting grooves that help the teeth of the pegs interlock with the sole.
“Alpinestars boots, especially off-road and motocross boots, set the bar for what’s possible with motorcycle footwear, and the new Tech10 Enduro boots are the latest option that raise that bar even higher,” says Brent Jaswinski, Alpinestars Sales Communications Manager.
The Tech10 Enduro boot begins with a chassis that has five different densities of material to give the right blend of rigidity and flexibility, so riders can be comfortable and feel the controls without compromising safety.
In addition to flexibility, another comfort feature is DHCP (Dynamic Heel Compression Protector), which helps absorb energy for improved comfort and rider stamina.
There is plenty of technology inside the Tech10 Enduro boots that is aimed at keeping a rider well-protected. A built-in blade system helps mitigate hyper-flexion and
Alpinestars’ new Tech10 Enduro boots feature advanced safety and comfort features, but also provide improved traction and functionality for enduro riding.
hyper-extension. There are also multi-density shock-absorbing inserts in the front part of the boot that provide progressive damping as the foot flexes forward.
While too much flex is a bad thing, there still needs to be enough for a rider to comfortably move around and feel the bike’s feedback. An asymmetrical medial pivot and lateral mechanical link system improve flexibility while also mitigating twisting movements that could cause injury.
An inner bootie ankle brace caps off the long list of protective features. This anatomically designed brace works in conjunction with the boot’s chassis to provide lateral protection and progressive torsional damping from rotational forces. ■

Choosing the right vehicle for off-road riding is just the first step in getting ready to hit the track or trails. There are more off-road motorcycles, ATVs and UTVs available than ever before, and no matter which one a rider chooses, keeping that vehicle working well is important.
Part of that upkeep is choosing the right oil for the vehicle, and Moose Offroad engine oils come in distinct versions to keep an engine running optimally. Moose offers both synthetic and mineral oils that work with off-road vehicles of all kinds, from the biggest UTV to a small-displacement motorcycle. All of these JASO MA2 fluids are suited for high-torque, wet-clutch machines.
“Using the correct oil for a vehicle makes a significant difference in how well the engine will perform,” notes Moose Offroad’s Jared Krueger. “This is especially true in off-road environments, where engines are really put to the test and reliability is a must.” ■
» Talk with your Parts rep about Moose Offroad oils and how to help your customers choose the right one for their off-road vehicle. You can find all the options in the Tire & Service catalog, and at www.parts-unlimited.com.
High-performance Japanese off-road motorcycles will benefit from Moose’s 10W-40 Full Synthetic oil. This oil is formulated to perform well even under the extreme pressure and high temperatures found inside high-performance engines. This synthetic oil is reliable at all temperatures, and it capably maintains its critical viscosity no matter how hard the engine is working. Ideal for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke transmissions, the 10W-40 Full Synthetic oil also reduces friction and wear to enhance the engine’s lifespan and performance.
For high-performance vehicles that come from European manufacturers, Moose Offroad 10W-50 Full Synthetic oil delivers outstanding performance for 4-stroke engines. Great for high-torque builds, this oil can stand up to extreme heat, minimizing molecular shearing and thermal breakdown, which keeps your engine operating smoothly at all temperatures.
The Moose Offroad oil option for high-performance 2-stroke transmissions is the 15W-50 Full Synthetic. Like the other synthetic formulations in the Moose lineup, this oil is designed for hightemperature, heavy-load applications, so riders don’t have to worry about molecular shearing or thermal breakdown. In addition to keeping 2-strokes running well, this oil also protects the engine and its components to ensure things keep working well for a long time to come.
Tough and long-lasting, the Moose Offroad 10W-40 Mineral oil is formulated for Japanese motorcycles. It’s a reliable option for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke transmissions, providing optimal power delivery and engine protection.
As an entrepreneurial young Dutch mechanical engineer and passionate off-road rider, Gaston Veron was unsatisfied with the performance of the stock brake rotors on his motocross bike, so he produced his first brake disc in 1996 from within his parent’s garage.
From its humble beginnings in that small space, Moto-Master Brake Systems has become a producer of high-performing brake parts that operates out of a large custom-built facility in Hapert, Netherlands. In the U.S., Moto-Master’s off-road product line is available through Parts Unlimited.
Veron’s first publicly-sold product released in 1997 was dubbed the Flame rotor, which has evolved over the years, but remains a popular rotor for the company. As the name implies, much of the superior performance of the rotor lies embedded within its unique flame design.
The Flame rotor is made of premium-quality steel alloy that is laser-cut to provide a razor sharp edge that won’t corrode. The Flame-shaped venting slots and outer perimeter ensure an equal amount of contact surface between the rotor and brake pad throughout its entire rotation, which results in smooth and more predictable braking action.
The oversized venting slots are lined up in the linear direction of movement which prevents them from chipping away at the brake pads. Those vents also evacuate hot gasses to keep things cool, while the rotors continuously clean the entire brake pad contact surface.
Moto-Master Flame rotors are used by Factory KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas teams, ClubMX Yamaha, Quad Lock Honda, and AEO KTM in the U.S., as well as numerous European teams.
For the more budget-conscious customer, Moto-Master also produces the Nitro line of rotors. Built to the same quality as the Flame series, the Nitro line offers performance more adept to the general off-road enthusiast seeking a budget OE replacement.
For customers looking at an entire brake package, Moto-Master offers the MXC billet caliper, multi compounds of brake pads designed for the Flame and Nitro series of rotors, as well as brake pad pins and brake lines.
Moto-Master’s flagship offers excellent braking performance. The unique flame design provides smooth, predictable stopping action. The vent slots keep things cool, and help keep the brake pad surface clean.
While Veron passed away in 2011 after an off-road riding accident, the spirit of his vision for stopping the world’s fastest riders lives on. Through the years Moto-Master has managed to secure many National, European and World Championship titles.
“Over the years I have worked with riders who drag the rear brake a lot to control the bike,” says Roger Decoster, director of racing for KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas. “We tried many solutions, but the only one that really worked was to put Moto-Master rotors on the bike.” ■

Getting the holeshot requires proper start technique and a seamless launch off the starting gate. A good start can be the difference between contending for wins and being mired in the back of the pack. Works Connection Pro Launch Start Device makes pro-level starts available to all racers, from beginners to experts.
The holeshot device originated when professional motocross teams began experimenting with in-house methods to improve rider start technique by compressing the front suspension. Works Connection’s Pro Launch Start Device locks the front forks at a pre-determined compressed height that lowers the front end height and shifts weight to the rear end.
The lowered front end launches the bike with less wheely for more straight-line control and a more consistent start technique each time. Riders can focus less on maintaining their balance out of the gate and more on accelerating with clean shifts all the way to the first turn.
The lowered ride height also has the secondary effect of allowing the rider to stay centered and planted on the motorcycle. This technique enables the rider to position their weight farther forward over the bike’s front end and apply more throttle without straightening their arms and reducing their ability to steer the motorcycle. Pro Launch is a must-have for racers looking to improve their starts. Those who don’t use one are literally starting at a disadvantage.
“When we set out to design our Pro Launch Start Device, we wanted it to be easy to set, lightweight, easy to install and most importantly, work flawlessly,” says Eric Phipps, President of Works Connection. “I feel like we’ve checked all those boxes, and being 100 percent made in the USA is the cherry on top.”
Factory teams that use the Works Connection start device include Team Honda HRC Progressive, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing (250 and 450), Progressive Insurance ECSTAR Suzuki, and Toyota Redlands BarX Yamaha. These teams are in addition to the hundreds of professional privateers and elite amateur motocross racers worldwide who use the company’s off-the-shelf performance products.
“When Team Honda HRC, Star Racing Yamaha and HEP Suzuki have the best of everything at their fingertips and rely on our Pro Launch Start Device in their quest for Championships, we’re honored,” Phipps adds. “With millions of dollars on the line, they choose Works Connection, and to us, there’s no higher endorsement.”
Work’s Connection’s in-house design team created the patented Pro Launch Start Device at its Northern California headquarters. Kits include a fork ring, trigger assembly, drill guide template, countersink, and any additional hardware necessary for each model. Each Pro Launch Start Device fits directly onto the OEM fork guards. ■

DWössner has connecting rod kits for 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.
ealers looking for a great replacement connecting rod for modern 2-stroke or 4-stroke engines should consider Wössner Research and Development’s Connecting Rod Kits. These German-engineered kits enhance engine life and reliability and are ideal for high-horsepower, race-performance engine builds.
Depending on the model, Wössner produces both forged and machined (billet) connecting rods. Each kit includes a connecting rod, a top-end bushing or bearing, a big-end pin, a pin bearing, and all necessary washers. A forged connecting rod is manufactured by forcing raw material into the desired shape through extreme pressure, enhancing its strength and ductility (the ability for a material to bend before breaking). By contrast, a
machined con rod is machined from raw materials and can be lighter than forged.
Wössner partners with leading SuperMotocross and MXGP teams for real-world R&D, testing, and product development. Notable affiliations include Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing, PRMX Kawasaki, Rock River Yamaha and established hop-up shops like Boyko Racing, DH1 Mods, Motor Medic Racing and Tom Morgan Racing.
“Dealers, expert engine builders and race teams appreciate the consistent quality of Wössner connecting rod kits,” explains Bob DiFranco, Sales and Customer Development for Wössner North America. “Whether you’re rebuilding a new 4-stroke race engine or a 20-year-old 2-stroke, Wössner’s con rods deliver precision and reliability.”
Wössner delivers German-engineered quality, performance and reliability to modern 2- and 4-stroke engines, making them a reliable aftermarket source for dealer service departments and specialty performance retail shops. ■

In this installment of “the right tool for the job,” let’s check out Motion Pro’s new T6 Valve Spring Compressor. Ease of use is the name of the game with this crucial shop tool. “Even if you’ve used Motion Pro’s previous valve-spring compressor, the new T6 setup is sure to impress,” says Eric Clay, art director and product expert at the brand in blue.
The T6 Valve Spring Compressor has an improved clamping system that has consistent, low-effort movement without the sudden release of other designs’ pivot mechanisms. “That makes releasing spring pressure smoother, ensuring the keepers seat properly instead of shooting out of the spring retainer,” Clay explains.
Other convenient features include fully adjustable top and bottom adjusters, which ensure your techs and customers are able to depress the spring retainer to the optimal height. The tool’s lower adjuster is made from aluminum, so it won’t scratch or damage the valve face, and its domed shape helps keep it centered. The forked tip offers unobscured access to the valve stem and is available
in several diameters (18mm, 24mm and 28mm) to suit all motorcycle, ATV, UTV, and small engine cylinder heads.
The T6 Valve Spring Compressor has a billet-aluminum chassis and features a durable blue anodized finish with laser-engraved markings. “This simple, fast, easy to use tool is essential for shops and advanced home mechanics,” Clay relates. ■

Getting up to speed on an E-Bike is easy, and stopping should be, too. Galfer USA has brake pads and rotors specifically designed to give EBikes the performance and reliability one would expect from Galfer braking products.
Galfer’s E-Bike brake pads feature a compound formulated to handle the increased mass and speed an E-Bike has compared to a standard bicycle. These pads provide performance and consistency even in more aggressive riding situations, such as downhill mountain biking.
Finding the right Galfer E-Bike brake pad fitment should be no problem for dealers. The robust lineup means virtually all E-Bikes will pair with a set of Galfer pads.
The Galfer name is already well-known in powersports, and E-Bike riders can expect the same durability, excellent modulation and heat management that is found in the company’s powersports applications.
“We’re doing the same thing that a lot of other moto companies have been doing when they get into the bike world,” says Stu Wall, Bicycle Product Line Manager for Galfer USA. “We take the longevity and tech, and we put it all into an industry that really needs it. We bring 70 years of rotor and pad knowledge into the bicycle world.”
Galfer E-Bike pads and SHARK rotors make a perfect pairing for E-Bike, enduro and downhill use. The rotor’s geometry promotes cooling, and it seamlessly replaces the stock rotor for an instant performance upgrade. ■

Offering an ever-growing line of parts and accessories, Accutronix has manufactured high quality motorcycle products at a competi tive price in Phoenix, Arizona since 1985.
Honda sold nearly 36,000 units of its Interstate, Sabre, Stateline and VT1300 Fury motor cycles in the U.S. Among Accutronix’s many offerings are parts that help individualize these models.
Accutronix’s side-mount license plate frames made of 6061 T-6 billet aluminum are available in both chrome and black. These kits mount on the axle pinch bolt and can be oriented vertically or horizontally. At 7½ inches long and 4½ inches wide, the frame features a window size of 6 inches by 3¼ inches. The frame comes wired with a bright white LED light, and the kit includes all of the mounting hardware you’ll need.
Aftermarket air filters are among the most common mods done to cruiser motorcycles. The Accutronix CV Air Cleaner Adapter, made of chromed billet aluminum, adapts any custom air cleaner with a bike’s stock CV carburetor.
Accutronix’s third product for Honda Fury, Interstate, Sabre and Stateline models is the company’s Throttle Body Cover that helps fill the unsightly void often left in the engine bay with the installation of an aftermarket air filter. Water-jet cut from steel, the cover features a black powder-coat wrinkle finish that successfully camouflages the void.
“Here at Accutronix, we’re constantly creating parts and accessories that help a rider individualize their motorcycle,” says Accutronix’s Tyler Williams. ■

Something interesting about product innovation is that there’s never an end or definite level of completion. Innovation is a continuous process, one product development cycle building off the last. This concept is not lost on the vision veterans at SCOTT Sports, and SCOTT engineers have never settled at “good enough.”
The most recent innovation from the SCOTT lab is the Prospect 2.0 goggle. In its original version, Prospect goggles had a manual lens changing process, a large field of vision, moisture-resistant face foam, articulated outriggers and a host of lens options. While the first version of the Prospect is a fantastic goggle, Prospect 2.0 builds upon each of these rider-focused features.
“The Prospect has really been our flagship goggle since 2017, with a few tweaks here and there,” says Primo Marotto, GM and National Sales Manager of SCOTT’s moto division. “However, the Prospect 2.0 has been improved more than I ever thought it could. Our engineers have outdone themselves, and riders are the big beneficiaries. Our tagline ‘We Defend Your Vision,’ couldn’t be anymore spot on.”
If your customers had a set of original Prospect goggles in one hand and Prospect 2.0 in the other to compare side by side, they would likely notice the change in design of the nose bridge area. In the 2.0 version of Prospect, this area has been widened for improved ability to breathe. Plus, the thermoformed nose area offers an ideal balance of seal and comfort.
Prospect goggles’ lens change and lock design has always been an important feature of convenience and adaptability, and it’s been improved moreover with 2.0. A simple movement of the outriggers unlocks the four locking points of the lens, allowing customers to choose the best lens for riding conditions that day and lock it back in by returning the outriggers to their original position. Plus, riders that have original Prospect goggles can still use those lenses with Prospect 2.0.
SCOTT’s proprietary NoSweat face foam is still present in Prospect 2.0 goggles. Building on that, the vent foam has been moved outside the frame where it can make the most difference for riders. Coupled with a re-design of the upper framework, this helps Prospect 2.0 goggles do an even better job keeping dirt and debris outside of the goggles where it belongs.
Of course, Prospect 2.0 goggles carry the same great impact protection, UV protection and anti-fogging quality for which SCOTT motocross goggles are known. Perhaps the best news for your customers is that all these features are available in a massive range of color, design and lens combinations sure to complement almost any set of gear. They’re even available with roll-off systems, light-sensitive lenses, vision-enhancing Amplifier lenses and more. ■
